Well i'll, be talking about some braiding gels, yes about time of all time about time. Actually, yes, i wasn't supposed to make this video to this. This is the second time i'm making a video today, because i just got my hair done. That'S why i'm looking a bit cute today and i was supposed to have a client in the afternoon, then i got the nicole no show i mean in 2021. People still do that. That'S so like it's just so it's just so rude anyways deposit, gone, she's banned she's, never ever ever booking with me again, so i was like okay, i got some hearts. Let me just get some things done and then, though, before i know it time flies, you know i'm just going to go pick up my child from the care. So talking about burning gels, like you know, when you're braiding, it's a staple having products like you know, help you like get clean parts and all of that, but now because of course, girls are getting popular every time you can arrange making products right now and there's A whole bunch of gels out there now the list i'll be giving out today what i'm, showing today, what i'll be showing today rather is by no means i'm exhausted. That'S not the list of all the gels in the market, it's just the ones i've tried. I do have some i've used, also that i don't have today, but i'll be talking about also and i'll just be giving my honest opinion regards to these products, because these things got they can be pricey and the ones i'll be talking about. Today. They range from a dollar - yes, one dollar, one dollar, from a dollar to like thirty dollars, a jar yeah. So we got ta, really know what we are spending our money on. So let's get started. The first thing i'll be talking about today will be beeswax, murray's, beeswax. Now this is a product i don't get to use a lot of because for the most part we don't use this for braiding. But if you are really somebody that does um sleek ponytails, that's a style. I do not do anymore like if you are doing sleek. Ponytails beeswax is the way to go. You cannot go wrong with tomorrow's beeswax. 100. Australian, beeswax! Yes, yes! Yes, i have not even touched this these two products this year, because i don't get to use them so just moving on and some people be putting these on locks. That'S a very, very terrible idea seriously. How do you put beeswax on locks like locks? No, you also know better. Like get some education, you can use this for certain things. Well, you can easily wash these up when you put these unlocks hell, no, so next product, let me see: okay still in the maurice family, maurice edgewax, this is the extra extreme old which um is okay, extreme old, i would say, but not really, really a favorite Of mine when it comes to breeding, but my favorite when it comes to breeding from the maurice family is the regular beeswax whoa. This thing is good, because this is not what the base it works great on all textures of it now as a hairstylist as a braid. These are things you're supposed to know like not all products will work right on different clients, because people come with different types of a core patterns and all of that and water-based products we're going to get into that water-based products for the most part would not work On certain types on certain air fixtures like, let me give an instance: i've got some real kinky, kinky kinky and what they like to think for ca, because technically there's no such thing as force here, but that's just some modern day terminology beeswax, i mean the murray's Edge racks - rather, it's got some beeswax in it. Yeah this. It'S still water-based, because the first ingredients, india, says aqua, which is water, but it is not running like that. This really really will actually lay my eggs, and this is great on all fixtures and also we all have stuff that our fingers work well with, i say other than um what works on people's types of vapor mirrors edge wax. This is a winner for me, yep. It'S a staple clean, perhaps if you're into all of these, what's called them feeding, braids and stitches, which i don't do a lot of. This is something you might want to check out if you've not tried this already so now, moving on from moore's edge wax. Let me see what next should i go on so, okay, there's a whole lot of discussion on some other products, but i'll be there in a bit now this one, let's jam fun fact this is the first gel of let's jam i'll be buying in my life, Like this is a product i've never ever ever ever used before. Never never, but like people use this little, let's jump blah blah blah. I used to go to some breeding silence a few years gon na used to use this power, like i never saw. I just thought, let me see safe to say, i'm never buying this again. I wouldn't even use this on a breakdown. It'S like man. It just feels like it feels like gel, but then once this thing gets on your scalp, it just melts into oil literally. So i have my hand they have the nerves to see extra old condition and shine. I would say it really does do the shine but regards laying pass. Let'S jam. Okay, now to the ever popular shine and jam brand shine and jump, shine and jump shine and jam. I'M gon na start with the yellow one shine and jam extra old this one. In all honesty, i used to love this product. I used to love shine and jam. I don't know what happened in the past year or thereabouts. The consistency has just been variable like it was never the thickest um breeding product out there regards to the consistency, but now it is super super watered down like it's. So, like watery like come on now, what's he with this, like, i always buy this thing in a case of 12.. Oh, i just dropped the cover. I would buy this in the case of 12, so i never ever run out because it's it was so good. The product this is the um, the extra old one it is so so runny now like. I understand that it is worth a base. Yes, it's a water-based product, but it really used to lay. But now, when you use this on braids, it's just ah, i would always ask like supplements with another product. So really i don't know what the how they went wrong with this one. Now all talking about china and jam. In all honesty, this is not the worst to me. The washer and jam after right is the purple one. Oh, that thing is loose. It is very, very, very, very thin like it is super thin. I i only use that thing once i finish that job like never ever again. Will i be buying that china and jam the purple one, it's a no, this yellow one. I won't call this orange because there's a new one. Now that's the orange. So, for the longest time we used to call this um orange, but this is actually it's a bit of orange now, but now that there's an orange one, i would say: okay, let me just show you that one now that is an orange one. We can't really say that this is orange. No, not this is orange. This is um yellow, so i'm still on the yellow one, but one one thing i learned over time also is this: usually when i'm braiding and of course, when you're using this, the product is open. When a lot of egg gets on your shine and jump, it tends to add in a bit so for this yellow one and it's always losing it's not like. I said it's gon na water down what i do for the most part. Now i just leave it open, like i don't cover it up, so it's hardened like so if it's left like overnight the next day, it's hard enough for me to use, but by the time i'm getting underneath it's still loose again, but it's okay. I'Ve got all the products that i can work with so shine and jam honestly after 2021. I don't think i'll be buying this anymore, because for me it's just not it's just not worth it like. It is actually cheap. Like i mean when i buy a case of 12, i get this for around 9.99, each and so by, but still it's not really about the price because i'll i'm going to get into other products, because i mean when you get a product just let it work Right, it's not really about one trying to go cheap or anything so shine and jam. I don't think i'll be coming back to shine and jam. I have a few more jars of this. I still have some in the garage also, but once i'm done i'll, i know the product i'll be sticking with. So moving on from the yellow, shine and jam the other shine and jam. I also used the green one. I think it's still edges the green shine and jam it's old, that one is a bit more firmer than this. It'S not as it's it's thicker than this, so that's a good one, but for the price i will not be buying it because i found something better. The green training jam is good, it's not as thin as this one, the red, china and jam the um is a magic finger or something yet down is also okay too, but in the price point also, i'm i mean it's not like i'm being cheap, for i Mean i have products that cost a lot more than the red, china, gem and the green channel. You that i use consistently, but sometimes you just really cannot justify paint. So a certain amount for a certain product, so red shine and jam, is okay. The green one is okay, but this yellow one can sold now regards to shine and jam. The big big big disappointment is the newest one. This is the orange china jam yeah now the name is they say, supreme old orange shining jam supreme old, like i was expecting this thing to be better but nope i opened the first jar. It was just as it was just slightly slightly thicker. I now that i think of it. I will feel they slightly water down this yellow one and then because this one orange one has the consistency of how the yellow one used to be before it began to get really really watery. So i think the water, the yellow one down, it's just my opinion. Anybody wants to get angry, it's on you because anyways. I have the right to talk about because it's my money i spent on this product. So i will talk about them. I feel without. I am now don't cut me wrong. I feel like the water down the yellow one and then the original consistency of the yellow one then i'll put it in the new orange one and call it supreme old hideaways. Once i'm done with this supreme world, i have like one two three more jars, once i'm done with these another shine and jam products, i'm saying goodbye to in 2021, i'm never buying this again so moving on. What'S next? Okay, let me just product some products and products: okay, next product, okay, let me see moving shine and jam. Maybe i should do a giveaway and just give out the shine and jumps, but these things are heavy, so shipping, i don't know about about doing a giveaway with products that are heavy like this moving on braid formula. This one is by. Is it eden, yeah hebrew new york, braid formula? I found this at the beauty supply about a month or two ago i opened it. Oh i love the texture, it felt so icy. It was thick i wanted to. I mean i was almost jumping like yes. Yes, yes, you finally found the product with good old, great formula until i started using this product. Oh, my goodness, this thing old, let's not lie, but this thing turns white just as soon as you put it on your cleanser, i'm like that is the only thing that stops me from using this braid formula. Even even bridge formula comes in, it says a medium old. This was like. I was like 13.99 a jar i couldn't find this elsewhere. I bought this. One was my first one, of course, when i see a new product i buy one jar to thirst. I buy one to test and when i'm done like okay, it's good and i buy more - that's how i do stuff, but i don't even know why i got. I think i bought now this the orange iron and jam. The only reason i didn't buy one was because i think i was trying to grab some free shipping, so i bought like five jars or there abouts. That'S. Why? Because for the most part, if i had seen this in store first, i would have bought just one jar, but then i bought this online. That'S why i got more than i took how many for breakdowns and everything to go back to the braid formula. It is really really really nice, but i have no idea what this is they put inside. That makes it like thunder white, and that thing is a pet peeve like you're braiding, you put products in your clients and then boom just stands right. It'S true! I'M it's not even because um there's oil in your clients or anything just stands where that thing is really really really annoying. I'M looking at a time now, almost time to go, grab my child bridge formula. I will not be buying again when i run out of this okay next product. Finally, i'm moving on to products. I really love. I first i first heard about this one on ig pro knit braid conditioning shine gel. I was like yet another product, good lord. I was not disappointed my first job this product, i bought it for 20 dollars. That'S a 16 ounce jar. If i tell you this is like the perfect product like, i don't want to manufacture this because, of course i buy these things myself. It'S also worth that basis, but it is not loose with this there's no basis for comparison with this product and the yellow, shine and gems. Now, if you have to compare this with any shine and jam, you probably will compare this with the green and the red ones. The red and green, pure o knit braid conditioning shine gel this product is the truth. Come on this product is the truth like it works on every a texture, it does not flake, it doesn't turn white like this is a blessing of a product for real and the price is not it's not it's. Not it's nothing. It'S nothing! That'S going to break the bank like this is 16. This is a 16 ounce jar, and now i got the first one for 20 bucks. Then i bought a few more a few, my bottles, that's about 16 plus plus tax 16. Each i mean for good quality. That'S a steal because i got some other products that cost a lot more for the same quantity and they don't deliver the way the so neat braiding gel knit braid conditioning gel. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for whoever manufactures this. Please do not stop don't and please don't jack the price up. That'S another thing when the product is good, the price goes like boom. Okay, moving away from the needs bridge journal, the next we'll be talking about will be i'm saving the best for last. Yes, saving the best for last honestly you'll be shocked. The next product i'm going for is the lockhand twist. I love me some luck and twist this product is the throats talk about this thing works on every every kind of air, like, oh, my. If you really really do feeling braids and all of that you just cannot afford not to have the lock and swiss gel i've got the original the regular one, this one no fragrance, then the lemongrass, oh, this lemongrass one is the one i'm using the smell is Everly this product is super super thick. It'S a stick, it is, it is perfect, it's just perfect, like i know so many words to use on this. It is perfect. I mean looking at it blah blah blah, no alcohol, no flake, india right. Okay. Now they said no beeswax on this one, which is true, and it is not greasy like this - is so good that i would actually do some love for twisting. With this look and twist gel good, you know good products always come at the price. Now these ones ain't cheap, 16 ounce each year, this cost about 27 dollars each yeah 27 for a 16 ounce journal. Remember this is a 16 ounce. Jar 24 27 needs braiding gel the first one i bought was 20 dollars. Then i got the leader for 15.99, which is 16 16 ounces, 16 knee brake gel 16 ounces of lock and twist 27 do the maths, but they are both good stuff that i'll be buying and the last, but not the least the last, but not the least. I stumbled on this product by chance. I don't know what i was looking for. I was at the dollar store in particular, you know. Sometimes i mean you go in a store. You just want to look around like stuff stuff, so i was in the beauty section, of course, there's no way i'll be buying stuff from the last store to put on the hair like el. No, i don't even know why i was there. I was looking around and i see my i just caught something softy perfect edge controls like you're right come on now. Let'S see i grabbed one, but this is a two ounce jar. Okay, of course, now two ounces like alpha: it's not full! It'S not full! All! The way to the top i was like well, let me just see, then i opened it in the stuff because i always did i opened it. I stick my hand in i stuck up. That'S bad english. Sorry, i stuck my hand in i was like, oh my god, one dollar, one dollar. I kid you not this thing. This thing is way better than the shine and jam i've been using for years. Like i don't know, if anybody has told you about this, this is an eating gym. This thing it cost me a dollar i was like, but of course i got five because i wasn't sure it felt so good on my like, because i'm like it is so freaking thick like look at this one dollar, one dollar, one dollar, like yeah, my next Client, i'm gon na try this on my next lines. I kid you not so i'm saying that the second time i used this on a client for passion twist i was stunned. I was like, oh my god, you know when you find the right product at an unbelievable price. Of course, this is a dollar. So that's two ounce, a dollar. So most of these things come at 16 ounce jars, so 16 ounce jar, 16, divided by two that'll, be eight. So during the max, the 16 ounce of this will be about eight dollars, so eight dollar still does not compare with twenty seven dollars. Eight dollars does not compare with sixteen dollars like, like, i don't know, but one thing i do know is that next time i stop at the dollar store dollar tree. I see this on the shelves, i'm getting everything. I use these on passion. I use this on a client to do passion twist. I was stunned. I mean, if i told you it was a dollar joel i use now now that does not mean i'm gon na get rid of the better products because for a dollar let me see. I didn't really look at, of course, all those products. I can't even i can't put - i can always um these ingredients. I can't pronounce most of them, but the important thing is that it's all right, it did not flake, it did not flake, which is good.
