Hello, beautiful people welcome back, welcome to your girl is excited to majid because i'm finally gon na be putting in some parades. Okay, your girl's gon na get some braids. Your girl's gon na get some braids first, i prep my hair stretch it out. Then i put that thing away: okay, we're about to get some braids, so i just wanted to quickly show you guys how i do a prep and stretch knowing what i know now about products and how i maneuver and prep my hair for protective style, slash braids. So for today i'm going to be trying out the miele line, i'm using the first, the rosemary and mint shampoo, and i really just wanted like a mention who y'all know. I love the audio beauty, mint shampoo um, but i wanted to go ahead and try something else different, especially something more on like the drugstore scale, or something that you could pick up at, like your local beauty, supply store and i really enjoy. I just love the tingle. I love the tingle of a mint shampoo. I feel like it's scalp therapy for me like i, this is like one of those things that i like to do, especially when i'm prepping my hair um for protective styles. For my scalp, i really like to make sure my scalp gets nice and super clean um. I ended up washing my hair. I want to say about two times or so and then on the last wash i did a pre detangle with my shampoo brush y'all know. I, like basically detangle with shampoo nowadays, if you haven't seen my detangling wash day routine, make sure you go ahead and check that out um. So i did a little pre-detangle with my shampoo to get it prepped because i wasn't going to be using conditioner. Instead, i'm going straight in with the mint deep conditioner there's a word before it and i don't know how to properly pronounce it. So i'm not going to butcher it um. This conditioner actually surprised me, especially because it was in a smaller container. I was like oh boy, i'm probably about to use this whole thing. Even given the knowledge that i know about my products, i still thought was gon na use the whole thing, but it actually has pretty great slip. It'S not super super thick. It has um. I don't know kind of reminds me more of like a curling cream consistency, so it works pretty well when it comes to detangling and actually being able to like spread it throughout my hair, i went in again with my shampoo brush and just made sure i detangled It into my hair, my hair, is a little porosity, so we got to work her in okay. We got to make sure we massage massage. I ended up adding a little bit on my scalp as well. Just for you know just a little extra tingle tingle. I, like the sensation, and then i went ahead and covered this with aluminum cap. I'Ve been meaning to find like a reusable cap to deep condition in instead of using the plastic ones, and this way it traps in the heat a lot better. So i made sure to let this really sit and penetrate in my hair, so i can get my hair as strong as possible for my protective styles. Once i've gone ahead and rinsed it out, it is time to stretch my hair um to stretch my hair today. I went ahead and just kind of sectioned, my hair in four i'm going to be using the as i am jamaican black castor oil line. You already know. I love me that jamaica, black, castor oil, water, okay, i already went up and re-upped. I think there was a sale where it was like, buy two get a third free or something i don't know. I just bought it up. It was just a reason for the season and i did it um, so i'm going in with the leave-in. I love how this stuff smells. Oh, my goodness! So i'm going in with the leave-in as like my base, moisturizer and then to add a little bit of extra moisture into my hair. I'M going to be using the curling cream and i just like using like a leave-in and then a curling cream on top and for any of like my braid styles or some sort of like thick cream, because i feel like it keeps my hair moisturized. In the styles themselves, and then i make sure that i really like detangle and work those products. And once i have my products in i'm going in with my scrunchies and i'm making sure to get my hair nice and smooth at the base. And i'm going to scrunchie the base of my hair and then i will go in and i braid down the rest of my hair to make sure that i get it nice and stretched and then i just repeat this process throughout my entire head. Once i'm done. I end up with like a total of four braids, and this is what we're looking now i'll. Let this sit in my head for at least two days um or until it's completely dry and then the next day i'll go ahead and unravel them. As you can see, y'all when i was unraveling, the braids y'all see this base. Y'All see the shine. Y'All see this, you would have thought that my roots were pressed okay. This is probably one of the best like root stretches. I'Ve had in a long time, okay, um, and so i went ahead and just to like, as you can see, i got a little volume action going on to just kind of you know, deflate to deflate my hair. I went ahead and i put it into like two big sections so i'll make sure to like detangle out the braids and then smooth it down and put it into some big old, i'm a big kid now braids and then i let that sit um. I only let this sit for, i want to say maybe like 30 minutes or so um. You can also let this sit for a whole another day if you want to for an extra stretch, and once i was done, this is what my hair looked like. Oh she's, giving fluffy she's giving disco diva she's, giving first of all she's giving shape okay she's getting isosceles she's getting angles, and there you have it, how i wash stretch and prep my hair for my braids. As always, if you guys are loving me, if you love and keep it simple, let's get it together. Put these braids in my head. Z, do not forget to subscribe down below, so you never miss an upload and i'll see all you beautiful people in my next video bye loves

Aiyesha Strachan: Your hair looks so hydrated and healthy! I’m ready to put some braids in myself!

Zakiya Lawal: “She’s giving SHAPE” it’s the hyping yourself for me (edit: oou my comment got 50 likes..lol thanks y’all)

Vay Babe: Thought I was the only one skipping conditioner and going straight to deep conditioner these days. It wasn't something I decided on purpose, it kind of happened because I would co-wash a lot so you don't really need a conditioner after a co-wash. Then I noticed a lot of wash day sets don't come with conditioners anymore lol its a shampoo, deep conditioner, and then a twisting cream or gel. Weird.

Mama Danni B: THANK YOU SIS!! I’m getting knotless braids for the first time in 2 weeks and I will definitely be using this routine! Can’t wait to see what cute styles you come up with.

is that a chicken?: Aaw, your hair looks so beautiful and healthy✨

Luuve S: isosceles!!! Yes. I love having the smoooooth roots...seems like they are smoother than when I had a perm years ago!

Karis Lynelle: This video came right on time im about to put some in my hair this week

Apara: Love the Mielle Deep condition!!! It hydrates my hair like crazy. Only DC that does that I've tried. Long story short...I found that little gem by accident a few months ago. At first I was like oh no; it was expensive and 8oz. I thought I'll get two uses top. But, surprisingly, a little goes a long way!!!! I had a bottle since Feb, and still have some left. I use it once a week.

Godiva217: I might have to start drying my hair like this all the time! Whether I’m getting braids or just maintaining after my weekly wash.

I’d like to see you try the Miele rosemary & mint deep conditioner! It’s become a staple of mine, I add raw honey to the container & mix it all up before I use

Lateefat Sanni: This amazing!! I acc made the decision to do the 30-day detox for my hair because of you and I have been combing through @iamblackgirlcurls insta and youtube for more info until my bank account can sustain a SeeSomeCurls subscription loll.  I really want to know what slip you're going to use to take down your braids. As someone with dense hair who currently has braids in, when I need to take them out, slip/a lubricant is NON-NEGOTIABLE loll. What are you gonna use for your takedown?

Alexia Kelly: I needed this ❤️
