Hey guys welcome back to my channel okay, we have another natural hair video. So today i'm going to be showing you how i get my hair from this to this. Yes, so i'm going to be showing you my full wash day routine, my moisture routine and a little twist out tutorial so stay tuned and give this video a thumbs up if you're excited okay. So, first off i section off my hair into five sections: the sides the front the crown and the back. Now that i have more length. This is a necessity to wash my hair i'll, be using texture, id's, clarifying sulfate-free shampoo and the main joints detangling hydration conditioner. First of all, yes, i do wash my hair in the sink, sometimes comment below if you do as well, but okay. So these days, i do shampoo my hair in each section. My hair is just longer so it's easier to keep it kind of contained as you'll see as i shampoo my hair, i always kind of keep my hair taut. I make sure to pull and stretch it just to make sure it's not. You know tangling up on itself all right next up, it's time to deep condition and i'm just gon na take out one section dry it a little bit more. I don't really care about using t-shirts to dry my hair anymore, i'm just at that point in my natural hair journey. I work through each section, i'll split them just to make sure to coat my strands with the conditioner and then i'll use this time to also detangle my hair, so i'll split it into workable sections, and i use my tangle teezer. As you guys know. I love my tangle, teezer and i'll just detangle, my hair. I'M definitely now that my hair is a bit longer after i detangle each section. I do twist it up that way when i rinse my hair out it's in twists and my hair, just kind of doesn't tangle on itself again. One thing i have been keeping up with is deep conditioning my hair. Every time i wash it even if it's just for 15 minutes, i just put a plastic cap on and let it sit as i rinse my hair out, i just try as much as possible to keep it in the twist. This is just to make sure it doesn't tangle on itself, like i mentioned before, and yeah all right, moisture time, so i'm going to be using texture, id's, intense moisture, leave-in and african prize curling cream, really great for definition, and these pair really nicely together to seal And oil, my scalp, i'm going to be using this oil from planted. It'S called inches we'll chat more about this product a little later. Okay, so, as you guys can see, my twists are hanging on for dear life, but that's okay anyway, so i'm just gon na put my hair back into the original sections, and this is where i will spray my leave-in on. I focus on the ends because it is the oldest part of your hair and then i obviously make sure to coat the rest of my strands as well. You know open up the hair, split it into sections and then i'll just run through it with my fingers to make sure my hair is fully coated. Once i'm done, i'm going to section off my hair into smaller sections to twist, and this is where i'll add the curling cream for more definition. For my twist out, so i'm taking about medium-sized sections they're, not super super small. I don't got time for that, but to twist up my entire head, it takes around 45 minutes and yeah also quick side note about this curling cream. If you haven't tried this product out, you should okay, i really really love it and it's very inexpensive. It'S like five dollars at walmart, i'm gon na have links to all of the products i use in today's video in the description box. So definitely open that up. This is what my hair ends up. Looking like, as you can see, they're juicy, succulents lovely all right. So, like i said, i'm gon na oil, my scalp with this oil from planted um. It has really really great ingredients. It is also black owned and apparently promotes hair growth, because you know you know i'm trying to see some inches honey all right. So i'm gon na keep my twists in for probably around a day or two, and i will check back in once it's time to take these out. Okay, so i ended up leaving my twist in for about two days and i like to use a scrunchie just to uh, make sure to keep the shape of the twist out, because you know sometimes the twist can get all crazy. Looking um and now again, i'm using the oil just to run over my hair to add more shine, so a quick tip when you are unraveling your twist outs. So if you want to avoid having like stringy ends, what i like to do is once i untwist. First, i turn the twist opposite way and then to separate the twists. You just separate up until the end, but you don't go all the way through. This ends up creating a 3d effect for your hair, and it makes it more full and you don't have those stringy ends. So all right last and final step is to fluff and shape the hair. I feel like it's a pretty visual thing, just make sure you're fluffing your roots only and not through the ends of your hair. Okay, i lied. Here'S the actual last step so sometimes if i want my hair to lay a certain way, i'll use pins just to uh kind of just pin my hair down, so it stays that way. That'S what i'm doing for my banks here just to create that look, and yes, this is what my hair looks like we're just gon na shape it a little bit more, but don't i look good. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, and i hope you guys can see just what uh separating the twist, but not fully at the ends really does for the look of the hair. It looks a lot fuller, more 3d, yes, but anyway, if you guys enjoyed this video make sure to give it a thumbs up subscribe if you haven't and i'll catch y'all later

I just ordered all the products you have shown here and will follow your routine to see how my hair responds. One question, do you wash your hair once a week or once every two weeks? Do you ever just do the deep conditioner on your wash day and skip a week of shampoo?

Anj Casimiro: You're so beautiful :)and even more without make up.
