Guys, welcome back to my channel welcome back, welcome back welcome back to another video big shout out to the notification gang. Thank you so much for your love and your continuous support. Thank you. Thank you. In today's video i will be trying out the brand called maui. I'Ve seen it around i've seen a lot of um natural hair people using it. So i decided you know what let me spend a bit of quaint and see what this product is like and whether it can be something that we naturals can actually use here in australia, so i'll be trying out their heel and hydrate plus shear butter range and Also, their curl quench plus coconut range, just their curl smoothie. So the first thing that i'm going to be doing is taking out my hair. My hair has been stretched out for a while. Now it hasn't been washed for a good long time, so it was hella dirty and then i dampened my hair so that i could apply the shampoo upon first impressions. The shampoo is, you know, it's shampoo, it's not stripping. I can say that, as i was applying it, it seemed my hair was really sort of enjoying it. I never really have much to say about shampoo, apart from the fact of whether is it stripping or is it not stripping? This shampoo, i would say, is not stripping. I did feel like my hair was a tad bit dry after i rinsed it out, but i did notice that my hair did not strip at all. So it is a great product to use for natural hair, for i guess any um curl texture from four to threes to twos and stuff like that. So the maui range actually claims that they start with aloe vera and then they add nature's miracle moisturizers into their products. So aloe vera is very, very hydrating, it's great for hair, great for any type of hair texture. So if their base is aloe vera with which the first product in their ingredients list is actually aloe vera, which means that the product is predominantly made of aloe vera instead of water or instead of any other thing, which is really really great to see. So after i washed out the shampoo, you can probably see that my hair does look a little bit dry. So it is a tiny little bit stripping, but it's not stripping to the point of where you know tresemme and things like that and other sort of non-natural shampoos. So it is still pretty good, but i do feel like it is a little bit stripping compared to the shampoos that i normally use now to the conditioner, the conditioner smells divine. It smells a lot better than the shampoo. It'S a very, very thick texture and i applied it to my hair and i was quite surprised. It took me a little bit off guard because it's not slippery um, usually for natural hair products. The shampoo is the slip solution, and with this it wasn't sufficing as a slip solution for me. I actually didn't end up detangling my hair at this point, which is what i would normally do. I ended up using it like. I would sort of use the shampoo and make sure that my entire head is coated and then allowing it to sit for a little bit and then rinsing it out. I just couldn't detangle my hair without a slip solution. I know that it can cause more damage to my hair and it's just not something i wanted to do so. Even after wetting, the hair um with the conditioner on it still wasn't creating a slip solution for me, there wasn't much. I could do with it other than wash it out, so this is what my hair looks like after it has been shampooed and conditioned, so it seems like my looser curl texture, so the looser sections of my hair, such as the back of my head in the Front of my head really enjoyed the products, but the sections that are tighter, coils, tighter curls, kinkier texture had a hard time. I guess soaking in the product or just enjoying the products as a whole. Next, i'm going in with the heel and hydrate hair mask it's a lot slipperier. Is that a word? It'S a lot more slippery than i had expected. I had really high hopes for this product because i thought it was going to be the sleep solution that i needed to detangle my hair, but it's sort of a similar texture to the conditioner. So i actually really didn't end up detangling my hair. The way that i usually do it and as thorough as i usually do it, because there wasn't that sort of slip to undo some of the knots at the end. Overall, i think the mask is great um. Is it one of the best that i've used? No, you guys know my go-to mask and you guys have seen some of the results that i've gotten with some other masks. So these aren't the greatest of results. If you know products are scarce and this is the only thing available. Definitely i think it works. It does the job, but at the same time it didn't really hydrate sort of like my coarser hair, so like at the center of my hair. I felt like i don't know the product wasn't seeping in or my hair wasn't receiving it. I don't know how to explain it, but it seemed like the product was like sitting on top of my hair and not going into my hair and bear in mind that i did leave this in for like 30 minutes, with also heat i did put on a Heat cap, but it seemed like the product just wasn't um seeping into my hair, i'm not sure what it was, but my hair, you know, didn't really indulge in the product. So this is my hair after it had been sitting with the heat cap for about 30 minutes. As you can see, some of the whiteness has gone, which means that my hair did sort of indulge in some of the product, but majority of it is still there. Usually, by this point, my hair would be looking wet, but not white, because my hair would have just like everything that was on top of it. But in this case that didn't happen, but it's okay. I washed it out with some cold water, and this is what my hair ended up. Looking like after so as you can see, it is hydrated, but there is that element of like sort of a dry look that it has to it and there's that also that dryish feel that it has to it. But the the middle of my hair just doesn't have the results that i love and the results that i would usually get. I will have to replenish a lot of oils and moisture once i begin doing my loc method so that my hair doesn't become too dry and brittle the last product that i'll be trying is the curl quench and coconut oil curl smoothie. So there are different ways that you can apply this. The way that i applied, it is as a wash and go so i just applied it to my hair and and allowed it to enhance my curls, and this is what it ended up. Looking like, i think that this is the best product that i've tried from all the products that i had um i mean it did the job. I think my curls would have popped out more if i had um a great conditioner that i would have been able to really thoroughly detangle my hair that really moisturize my hair, and then i add this. On top, it would have been like perfect, but regardless my curls still popped. My my curls still looked good, so final review. This was my favorite, the curl smoothie. I think it did the best job for me for my hair texture, which is in the four range, which i know that from 4a to 4c, it should work for everybody um. Second to that was the shampoo. The only reason why i say the shampoo is because the shampoo wasn't too stripping. If you start off with the stripping shampoo, everything else goes downhill. Third, is the hair mask and last is the conditioner, the hair mask and the conditioner? To be honest, i'm very in the middle about both of them. I mean different they're, both the same. They did the same thing, which was not much to be honest. Overall, i give this range that i tried a seven out of ten, a very generous seven, so yeah guys, that's the end of the video make sure to comment down below your thoughts. What you think of the range whether you've tried the range um, whether you haven't, whether you've tried a different collection from the range and like the video, if you like, the video, don't forget to ring that notification bell, so you don't miss a video anytime. It'S posted love, you guys so much.

Alexa Kimbro: The fact that you flawlessly washed your hair in a VERY cute top -----I'm amazed lol

Evado Arfs: You always give me vibes Tatenda! My hair grows exactly like yours, Longer in the back and shorter on the sides and in the middle. I used to be frustrated lol

Chiedza Mutiro: To get better results from the Shea Moisture hair mask apply it just after shampoo and mix it with olive oil then apply and use heat. I have 4c hair and it works well.

Brit JJ: Interesting that the product did not sink into your hair like you would have preferred. I’m also trying out this range and I like how moisturising the shampoo is. I’ve eliminated all hair products containing sulfates, dimethicone, silicone etc. I think if you use products/shampoos containing some of these ingredients it creates a resistance/coating over time on the hair and if you use a product without these it causes the product not to penetrate into the hair shaft like your faves. Feel free to disagree though I realise everyones hair reacts differently to products. I agree with another poster who said your hair is looking hydrated and healthy these days. Curls are visible when wet and it’s looking darker too Have you coloured it? Oh and on a side note if you get a chance, you should check out a hair care range called AfroShe, handmade by a lady named Ruth here in Australia in the ACT. She has type 4 hair. She’s also on YouTube.

Bells M: Thank you for the review! I got it to test it, made mom try first She didn't like it, she said it left her hair dry. Idk if she used the conditioner too or just the shampoo. But I just decided to take her word, so it's just sitting under the sink I was so excited when I first saw this brand though! Omg I was like natural hair products are rising in Aussie but nahh.

Lorna Simango: Thank you Tatenda. For this. For consistency .

Tori Venske: I used to LOVE these products. However, they’ve been causing my hair to be dry and fall out in chunks. I typically shed hair a little more than others but this is way more than normal. I’ve had blood work done twice now, and nothing came up. The chunks come out only when I wash my hair and after I wash it. ☹️

J. North: FINALLY...I found someone with the same combination hair that I have!!

justDawn: I dunno why I found the coconut oil conditioner curl quench was great as a leave in on my hair

Malkia Furaha: Thank you for making this video and saving me cash. I was thinking for buying the deep conditioner, but then i realised all i need is shea butter and another base. Im also 4c and live in Melbourne, Australia. It is okay, if you can recommend your best shampoo, im still shampoo and deep conditioner searching. Im also looking for products with minimal things within them. Thank you sister wangu (my sister in swahili).

Chidimma Orakwe: I love your videos they're very helpful to me ❤️❤️

Hal Malik: I only have very slightly wavy hair. I've noticed my hair doesnt fall out when its dry after using the mask. And not much falls out in the shower

I Am L Rose: I wish I saw this before I bought the conditioner Good thing I can take it back ‍♀️

Ruth: Your hair has grown so much ty for trying these out!!

Farai Katiyo Music: Great review very insightful ☺️

Bridget Odums: You remind of my niece and thank you for the review because I've been wanting to try this product, you save me some money

Pretty Mtero: That is so cool that u give us your advice at the off each video about the product

h8llywood: does it smell good and does it last long?

Therra Tasha I ZA: Let me actually try these, I´ve been eyeing them for some time now. Thanks for this video

olivia young: Tried it and I hate it! Going back to she's moisture raw Shea. The conditioner and deep conditioner seem the same product in different packaging too. Disappointed ☹️

Bells M: Definitely a Plan B product for sure

Jojo Voyard: Can you explain to me what a slip solution means? Because I bought this product and I have the same problem with the detangling and I do also believe that after I use it, my hair seems dry as well and I have to use a lot of oil after the whole washing process. What’s a good product that hydrates the hair during washing and shampooing? Thank you for this review!

Dorothy Chipfunde: Always looking forward to your videos

Sergey N: I suggest talk about no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.

Dorothy Chipfunde: How often do you wash your hair?

Bupe vlogs: Your hair has grown. Can you do a length check video? Please

Demi Dena: I was overly amused with the bubble

filda Kiarie: Is it just me, or is your hair becoming loser in texture??... It looks darker and and the coils more defined...share your secrets!!

Danielle Carter Argyle: What is your go to moisture mask?

Zisholo:

Joy Cheptoo: hiiiiiiii tatendaaaa lots of love
