Hey guys, what's up, it's Queenie here, welcome back to my channel, as you can see from the title, we are going to be doing my winter hair routine. So this routine is the most moisturizing. I promise you. It gets my hair from like crusty to just moisturize and bouncy, and this can last up to two weeks untouched. I am not even playing with you guys if you put it into a protective style like mini twist or a bun. It will stay. Moisturized like this is my ultimate ultimate routine right now, so let's get right into this, you can see how many hair is starting and let's see how it looks at the end. Alright, so the shampoo I'm using today is my luck. Shampoo bar - and this one specifically, is the coconut rice cake, which is my absolute favorite. It is so so so good for damaged or just dry, curly hair. It'S amazing so obviously considering the title. It has coconut and rice in it. So this is nice because it doesn't need much water and then it gives off so much product without having to wet it, which means you're, not wasting your product, and this thing can last a long time. So, just for that splash of water, you see how much product is coming off and my bar isn't withering away. So I just go ahead and I rinse my hair off make sure it's soaking wet from the shower. Let it sit for a few minutes, so it gets nice and juicy and then once you're ready. You can take the shampoo bar and rub it through your scalp. You guys can see as soon as it touches my hair. The bubbles like it's so so so nice and I have not wet it again. This is just working with the water in my hair and I use my hands to kind of spread it everywhere that I can and if I need a bit more, I will go in with the shampoo bar again in the sections I need more, but right now I'M just scrubbing and really cleaning my scalp, because I need this deep, deep clean. So I'm doing my scalp my strands everything so, as you can see, I'm going in with the shampoo bar again to get any spots that I missed and yeah the bar is still there and I'm using so much. You can see the product. That'S in my hair! There'S a lot in there, but the bar isn't disappearing so anyways. This does not strip my hair at all. It'S moisturizing, but it cleans it so so! Well sometimes when I'm rinsing it does feel a little bit funny, but as soon as it's out completely it's amazing. So you can see my hair is still curly, it's covered in product and it looks amazing still it's separated it's detangled. So let's go ahead and wash this out and move to the next step. So yeah make sure you get all the products out. As I said, it does feel a little bit funny, but afterwards it'll feel completely fine. The conditioner I'm using is also lush, and it's the American creme conditioner bar. This is also really really good for dry curly, hair or damaged hair. Personally, I think this is the best one. These two products, personally, I think, are the best for curly hair, and you guys can see I'm just rubbing it in my hand, and product is coming off same with the shampoo. You don't need much water and it gets nice and creamy and heavy and you're good to go alright. So I'm doing the same thing and you guys can see how heavy the product is and then you can just go ahead and rub that in your hair or you can use the actual bar to rub in your hair. I will say this part can be a little bit time-consuming because I like to make sure the conditioner gets everywhere, and if I want to do that, I have to go slowly after section my hair, I have to you, know separate it into chunks. Make sure I get each strand each section and really really really rub it in so it can be a little bit more time consuming than just using a cream conditioner, but it's worth it. It is so worth it because each section really gets the care that it needs and it allows me to slow down and actually focus and make sure that every section of my hair is moisturized. So you guys can see I've coated everywhere. My hair looks full and bouncy, oh, my goodness. I wish you guys could feel my hair. So now I'm going in with the hot oil treatment also from lush, and this is the damaged one. So this is the same one that I've been using. I'Ve used it for three uses now and I still have lots more because I made it with so much water. So it's basically like a deep conditioner hot oil treatment, type situation and I use that with the conditioner. So I just rub that in make sure it's covered, every shiny needs to be covered. That is the main point of this and yeah. This hot oil treatment is whoo, life-changing honest changing, so this combo is what really really gets my hair. You guys can see how good it looks and then I just go ahead and I pulled that into a bun and I let that sit for about 10 minutes. You guys my hair feels so nice after this process. You need to combine the two, I'm telling you, I don't know how they work on their own. I just know that the combo works so well on my hair. So, 10 minutes later I go ahead and I take out my bun and I'm ready to wash it out. You can see my hair is still so hydrated. My curls are coiling up, I'm getting some shrinkage, and that means my hair is hydrated. It'S soaking up the moisture, it's soaking up the product and it is shrinking. So it's not very shrunken up cuz, it's still very wet, but I go ahead and I wash that out as you can see and make sure you wash it out completely because you don't want residue and then I use a towel and you can use a t-shirt As well, if you want - and I just make sure my hair kind of dries out a little bit so I can go ahead and add in my leave-in products all right. So you want to make sure that your hair is wet enough, but that it's not dripping. But what enough to easily distribute products throughout your head, so what I'm doing right now is separating my hair, so it's easier to add the products in and not waste any product. So usually, I like to separate it into four pieces, sometimes more if I need to, but today four will do so. I'M gon na be going in with my Shea Moisture jamaican black, castor oil leave-in conditioner, and this is one of my favorites. You need a product if you're not gon na use this that's very, very thick. This is the consistency of like frosting or icing, whatever you want to call it. If you shake it out, it's not spilling. So if you stir it, you can still see your finger marks in the product. It has to be heavy enough, so it can really really penetrate your hair or I guess I don't know something. That'S gon na last in your hair. That'S not too watery! So I like to go in with that, as you can see, and I'm just rubbing it throughout my hair and finger detangling at the same time separating my strands, gently and kind of getting the product through everything. So now, on top of that, I'm using my lush queen bee hair honey to go on top of the leave-in, and this is kind of like a sealant. I would say because it's an oil-based product - and it also has honey in it, so it really really protects. My hair, like no other, it's actually crazy, so I just kind of quickly rubbed that through my hair and then I used a wide tooth comb to comb through my hair and to make sure that the product is evenly distributed through everywhere. After that's done, i braid it up, put it aside and move on to the next pieces. So I do the exact same thing: leave-in, conditioner, hair, honey situation thing comb braids, so you guys can see how full and healthy my hair looks. I just take my time and continue this process throughout my whole head make sure I'm well detangled, well moisturized and that every single strand is properly properly taken care of and, like I said, I just braid it back and let that sit for a few minutes. Alright. So this is what it looks like when I'm done. It is nothing special, nothing glamorous! You know just do some big cornrows and braids some chunky twists some flat twists, whatever you like and then go ahead and make sure you take care of your edges and your scalp, I'm using my secret hair growth oil. But I will talk about in another video, but you can use any oil you like, and this process is very important. You have to leave your hair in these braids for at least 40 minutes or so you guys can see. I have some breakage at the top of my head. There, that's from wearing my hair in a little part too long, but I just moisturize it and leave it alone. But, like I said, leave these braids in for sometime, you guys let your hair soak up the product, the moisture and just set into it. So after you leave it in for about, let's say 40 minutes or all day, if you can, you can go ahead and take it out and style it into your desired style. Today, I'm just gon na do a simple button, but again let your hair sit for a bit. It should not be dripping when you take this out. It should not really be wet, it should just be hydrated. Moisturized shrunk it up a little bit, but still just easy enough for you to move around, as you guys can see, there's no unnecessary frizz going on around my head. There'S no halo, there's no piece of sticking out anywhere and that's because my hair is moisturize. My strands are not dry they're, not depleted they're, not aggravated. They are just together, happy and just clumping nicely. So obviously, because kinky coily hair is coyly and kind of everywhere. I guess you could say it does have a little bit of frizz, but there's nothing really shadowing my head. That means my hair is moisturized. So now I'm just gon na pull it into a bun, and that will protect my ends and also it's just a simple style for me to do quickly make sure your hair feels like it is ready to be styled. If you still feel like your hair feels dry, you can leave it alone for some time and come back to it later. Let it soak up the moisture and just remember this: this routine has been washed and cleansed, so it's ready to absorb product, so we moisturize it with water, a thick leave-in. We coated it and sealed with a butter and an oil like this is not going anywhere. If you prepared your hair to absorb products, you filled it with the products that actually penetrate hair, and now you have allowed your hair to take the time to soak it in, and you are styling it into something that will still allow it to retain the moisture. This is foolproof. This is honestly one of my favorite routines so far it just gets better and better as I go on through the years, so I'm just here to share that with you guys. So I hope you enjoy this. I just tied up my hair with a little bit of edge control, no gel, because you know we're frizz free over here and that's basically it. I hope you guys try this out these products that I use are not too too expensive. I mean that's relative. I guess but make sure you turn on the notification button, so you don't miss any videos from me. Try out this routine comment down below. HotMama 31: Glad i found someone with true 4C hair which is my type of hair. Mines is 4c, damaged, low porosity hair which makes it very difficult to style. I like how you thoroughly explained everything you were doin. I use the exact same wash and go, LOC method. My only question is should I apply a cream after the oil, or mayb not given that my hair will not absorb the cream (it'll just sit on it)? Think i just answered my own question. What are your thoughts? What other styles would you recommend to retain moisturizer? Also, how much are those bars? Im using Canvas products right now but i may certainly try those bars lata. Thank you, thank you so much for doin this video. Very informative.

Mrs. Fluffy: Loving your hair. Thanks for sharing hun

C C: My hair texture is exactly like yours normally I go to the hairdressers but have had to start washing treating by myself so this video is very helpful

Shanika Myers: Gorgeous gorgeous hair and your hair is thriving!!!!

Celeste: You know what I am finding that works well to keep my hair very moisturized? I wash my hair as if it is straight, not curly and then put my favorite oil (argan) on my hair after I put my Kinky curly knot today leave in conditioner, then add texture ID foam and a little bit of kinky curly gel and I get the most define curls then finally spray with African pride braid spray. That hair will stay moisturized for days........................... My hair is 90% 4B and 10% 4A. This reduces the knots. It works!!!

Amonie-Faith: Really enjoyed your video. Never even crossed my mind to try LUSH hair products but they definitely look moisturizing. & You are gorgeous!

sorateal12: Wow thank you!!!!!! I think you're the first person I've seen that has the EXACT same hair type as me!!

Lani Pierre: Such gorgeous skin!!

NOR: Your skin is so flawless

너의 천사: If you use liquid I recommend washing your scalp and root area with shampoo and conditioning the length of the hair I find this method effective because shampoo tends to dry out the hair etc... Amazing video ❤️

Bev Carr: Your hair is gorgeous! Your texture is just like mine

Angel Roberson: You are gorgeous. Love the routine.

Lena Vieira: Your hair is growing sis!!!!

Tree Top: Y’all I’m 14 bout to be 15. Been natural for about 3 years and I’m struggling. My hair has gotten length in the last 3 years but not as much as I’d like. I notice my hair is very dry, and there’s a lot of breakage in the back perimeter of my head (though it’s not as noticeable when I brush it) I’ve been doing slicks back to back so I’m guessing that’s what’s causing the breakage back there. So to be sureI am gonna cut down on that to see if my hair does improve. Besides that, no product(s) I use helps my hair to retain moisture as when I first started. I used to melt Shea butter and add some oils along with a leave in before applying it, (I totally forgot which leave in it is). The eagerness to own products when I first started got in the way and now I’m completely lost. My hair is not nearly as soft and is always so brittle and dry with oil just sitting on top of it. I truly do need help. With corona coming around it has stopped me from doing as much protective styles (braids, twists, crochet, etc.) Finding out my hair porosity is also a struggle. I’ve don’t the floating hair trick but I’ve heard it’s inaccurate. I need all the help I can get. Any suggestions?

Irealla Real Life: Lush has some excellent products for kinky coily hair

Tea Kea: Love the hair health and bun style on you:)

Laura Otchie: I’m thinking of buying the shampoo, but I was wondering if the rice pieces ever get stuck in your hair or cause problems for you?

IJ Williams: I went to lush and a girl with 4c hair worked there and she suggested the avocado shampoo (it’s also a bar) I love it but I believe I have 3c -4a and I’m transitioning

Phelisa Nondzaba: I would love to try these bars but I’m worried because I wash my hair in twisted sections because if I washed my hair like this I would have knots for dayyssss

Aileen: Loved this video got some really good tips

star1316: Absolutely Stunning

Ms. SWright: Beautiful skin!!!

So So: Totally enjoyed your vid. I absolutely love your hair hun

Noke: So I stumbled across your video and watched it. I live in the Netherlands so it's hard finding natural hair products and even when I do find them my hair is always dry! I like lush so I just ordered the products you used and DAMN I found my holy Grail products thank youu! Also Im South African and have special 7c hair and my hair felt really good, especially after the conditioner. Thank you

Gracie Wandyte: Bar shampoo and conditioner? Wow that's amazing. Your hair growth is amazing. Always your fan. Love you

jami s -Jamila: Wish my hair was as healthy as yours! Hair goals

A Crespissima -: Thank you for your tips.. I will try for sure !!

Lady D: Your hair is beautiful and healthy.

Regular Black Girl: I love how the Lush hot oil treatment makes my hair feel but it was a bit annoying to work with

Temi Olusola: Thank you for the detailed video, its insightful for the winter. At what point can I add the vinegar wash to my routine please?

ryan bennett: Love the video and will be checking out the lush products soon! Don’t forget that growth oil video!

Foreign Queen: Beautiful hair and your gorgeous you have such smooth skin and a very radiant complexion ✨

Destiny Kandie: Her hair grew this much since he big chop like one year ago like howwwwww ima have a mental breakdown if my hair ain’t this long by December 2020

Aïssa Muamba: First time seeing shampoo and conditioner in a bar form, definitely an interesting product and smth to try out soon!

Mel E: Confused as to how you hair grew so fast!!!!!! You defo big chopped after me I blame the hard water lol Your hair looks

MLuna: Ayy, I also have 4b hair and I’m from Toronto! Keep going Queen!

Hope 1: This is true 4c hair. Look how beautiful it is. She has a beautiful face as well. Looks like no make up.

Anne Fenelus: Lush needs to go ahead and CUT THE CHECK!

laurenzartss: I chopped my hair off to up to my ears in August 2020 and now it’s the same length as yours but it’s really dry and my hair takes a lot of time to absorb products but I will try this routine out. I’ve also realised my hair needs alot of sun for it to grow but where I live it’s cold rn

Adjoa AJ: Love this I’m subscribed!! Your hair is identical to mine length and all one main question is how do you keep your styles for a long time ? Like once you sleep on it ext I feel like my hair needs to be done every day which is long I wish I could have one style like this that lasts at least a week

Ndeye Delgado: My goodness your skin and bone structure ... those eyes so gorgeous sis !

Hannah Domingo: I never thought to try the Lush bars because I didn't think they'd work for our hair. I'm gonna check them out now. Ps, You're so beautiful

Mirela Artesian: I’m trying to love my 4c hair!

AMAZINGG KEYAH: your hair is so full and healthy

VIKZ: My hair is super damaged bc my parents only ever taught me how to perm and just leave it lol, I’m doing the big chop and gonna try to go natural, this video is gonna be my bible for a little bit lol

Netty Bazile: We need u to drop a skin care routine

Ms Bella: Very explanatory video ✌how often do you moisture if your hair is not braided . Thanks

Boluwatiwi Ogunye: Could a braidout be done after moisturising or does it have to be done on fully stretched hair ?

Ebony Evonne: Your hair is beautiful!

Mia Davis: my face lit up when I seen you use that jamacian castor oil finally someone using the same product as me!

Boemo Mapetla: Beautiful Hair!!!

Jaz Zzzz: Love it! Do you have style ideas for shorter length hair? Also will u be posting about the growth oil?

M P: Im a dad and my 7 year old daughters hair gets so dry and tangled. I love the natural look however I can’t figure out how I can comb it without ripping some of her hair out. What should I do?

Monica Rosewood: Can you do a wash n go with no gel ? I’ve seen the video going around and I would love to see how you do it
