Perfectil gummies get them here :http://bit.ly/36nQnls they are literally the best and I'm not just saying that because it's a sponsored post! I genuinely love them!

I had so many questions about my hair and how its growth, what's making it flourish. What have I been doing, my hair care, routine, all kinds of stuff? So that's why I'm gon na be talking to you guys right today, I'm gon na show you guys my washing routine and what really helped my hair grow. Pretty much so I started the journey of self-care self-love. That kind of thing last year and one of the goals was to take care of my hair, take care of my skin my nails to do some way, because I put on a little bit of job and just feel better about myself in general and reduce my Stress and anxiety, and so that's what I've been doing and I guess that's what's been growing, my hair I've been drinking my water, okay, I have started a hair care regimen that is catered towards my 4c hair and I've added vitamins to my regime. I know you guys are probably going to be like oh wow. The vitamins really make that much of a difference. Yes, they do. They really really do. I'Ve been using perfect Isles hair gummies, I'm using over the past three months now and I actually have noticed a difference with breakage with my nails like the length of my nails. You can't really see them now, but I'll put some some clips in of the length like the rice. My nails have had that's why I've noticed them the most and the strength of my nose. My hair breaks off and less like when I'm coming through or redoing. My corner, I do not notice as much shedding as much breakage and you can see the results for yourself like my hair is flourishing. Now, I'm not gon na say that's only because of the gummies and the vitamins I've been taking. Obviously, I've been doing work as well putting in work for my hair regime and taking care of my hair and the products that I use in my hair. But I don't have an explanation for the nails, so I'm putting that all down to the gummies, because that's the only thing that I've changed about my nail regime is taking a vitamin and it's really helping. I'M actually going to take my Perfector and I usually take two or three of these little gummies. Okay, and this is what they look like. It'S something, hmm, also something that I will say to you guys as well. If you are dark skinned, if you have hair, like my most likely you're going to be my complexion or darker, actually I'm not even sure you can be less than or 4c hair. But the point is if you're dark skinned and you live in a cold climate. Make sure you're getting enough vitamin D, it's so important for your skin. We won't absorb as much vitamin D from the Sun if we're in a cold climate, because we have so much melanin protecting against UV rays and protecting. This is something that we don't absorb enough and actually most people find out when they don't adopt it, that they're feeling lethargic and tired. They don't have that kind of glow in their skin their hands brittle it's because they are missing vitamin D so make sure you're getting it in your food, like one of my friends actually needed to say vitamin D injections, I think habits so yeah make sure you're Getting your vitamin okay, so wait forgot to my hair care regime. I'M gon na show you guys how I wash my hair because I'm overdue for a wash, I wash my hair now every two weeks. Many ways - sometimes I stretch it to three weeks but every two weeks, and then I just put it right back in cornrows and under protective saw under away. I don't really usually do separations or anything to brush out my hair. I don't usually do that. I don't have to do that anymore because of my shampoo. So this is the shampoo that I made. I make them in patches and I put some in the fridge and just to store them. If I make a lot - but I made this about a month and a half ago now, I know you guys gon na ask me for the recipe I'm not sharing the recipes just yet, but I will be giving somebody guys the opportunity to try some of it, Especially if you got my hair type, this is no wonders for you, so I'm going to be giving some away on my Instagram so make sure you follow my Instagram, so you can know when this is gon na happen. Okay, I'm not gon na make an announcement on YouTube. It'Ll just be on my Instagram. Because of this I don't have to section my hair off here. I have a lot of facts. Okay for C hat, loves facts right. My hair in particular, love facts. I'M talking about castor oil, shea butter, heavy products. This is what I need to moisturize and lock in moisture in my hair. Since I've been using these, my shrinkage is so minimal that my hair doesn't get tangled as it used to so I don't need to be sitting there like trying to detangle my hair and then put them into little puffs like I used to have to do, and Then wash my hair in sections, I don't want to do that anymore. What I do now is, I usually just take my corners out. I finger detangle just kind of like this to puff it out, and then I go wash my hair. I work in sections with the shampoo so I'll shine through one bit and then wash it shuffle one bit and then wash. If I don't actually like use a comb in section, my hair, don't need to yeah, that's it once I get in the shower and my hair is wet and it's washed and everything and I'll get my brush, which I cannot find the life of me right now And just brush it fruit, okay, so let's get started. I also forgot to mention that I invested in a shower head that has a built-in filter so that I don't get that hard water on my hair or on my skin. So I'm starting to pull out all of the shredded hair and I check the hair to make sure that it is actually shedding here. You can see what shed in what's not by looking at the ends of the head. You see a wipe bulb at the end. Then that came directly from your scalp and then you know it shut it here, and this is the way that I detangle my hair and get rid of any loose hair to make sure that it doesn't matter or tangle with the rest. Remember that you shed about a hundred strands a day so losing some hair while you're washing is not a big deal. I keep doing this technique until my fingers are clear and I don't have any more shattered hair coming out. Then I wash my hair. I put the shampoo directly onto my scalp and I try to focus the first wash on my scalp. Only my hair does have a lot of build up from all the fats that I've been putting in all the castor oil and shea butter. So it's not gon na they're up, because my hair is basically dirty, but I make sure that I clear my scalp really really well there's a lot of essential oils, tea tree oils, peppermints, lavender, rosemary. All of these help with itchy scalp or having a sensitive scalp and removing dandruff. So I really concentrate on cleaning my scalp once I'm happy with that. I just rinse it out, and then I wash my hair again and this time the shampoo is gon na lather. Really well because my hair is clean, then I just let the soap buds penetrate and go all the way down to the ends of my hair. I try not to concentrate too much on the ends cuz. I want to keep the moisture in there as much as possible once I'm happy, I let it sit for about a minute or two, because the shampoo kind of acts like a conditioner as well and then I rinse it out. That'S it. I don't use any other product, I don't use any conditioner, that's that's it. Look at the softness. You guys look at this office. My hair is wet, so it's gon na shrink a little, but the shrinkage that I have is nothing nothing compared to how my hair would shrink if I was using products that didn't go with me, like my hair, would be this this much okay, not this light And fluffy shrinkage that you'll see that I can just open up with my fingers and get the comb. Not this. You see that that that would not happen. I am going to go moisturize my hair now with a little bit of castor oil and some shea butter, and then we go her Mac. I don't dry my hair. I simply use this hair towel milk. I leave it like this for about five minutes that it's soaked up the excess and then I use the rest of the water in there as moisture to seal in with my fats. Okay, so is the next day. Last night my camera ran out of battery rookie mistake, amateur just amateur, but why are my lips so dry? Please, looking like I've eaten powdered Donuts like some Dave Chappelle special was going on, ignore okay, ignoring my dry lips, they're, not crusty, they're, nice and soft, but for some reason - and I'm moisturized today doesn't matter all I did last night was just plant my hair. I fingered the tangled a little bit still and then I used some shea butter and some castor oil, and then I just rub that into the hair combed it out and then plaited it up. That was it. I didn't want to use heat. I didn't want to blow dry it, so I just put them into plants so that they can be stretched out, see that my scalp is really clean here now my hair might not look moisturize, it might look dry, but that's just the properties of 4c hair. It looks dry, but it is not. It is a really well conditioned. Okay, you can see from the shininess of the plats that it is conditioned, but if you look at my scalp it looks dry, but it isn't. The one thing that I like about my afro is literally just wearing it in an afro. That is that's the reason why I keep this hair because I, like the effort style it wasn't for that, I probably would have shaved it all off. So I am due for a haircut I'm going to cut my hair, the ends of it at least about I don't know. Let me see yeah at least about this much I'm gon na cut it and then once I cut it, I am not cutting it again. For six months, we'll do a length check and then I'm not cutting it again for six months to see where it has grown to and as you can see from all the wigs that I wear, I still have. My edges then go nowhere. I usually use my African, but African isn't long enough now I need a much longer afro pick, but I usually use the upper pick and pull it off and then I kind of just Jackson 5. It is actually quite long um. So don't let the afro fool. You, okay, it's actually somewhere out here. It'S just not not showing like that right now, cuz, you know, you know how 4c hair is so I'll, be dread. The video you guys thank you for watching.

A.W.: After wasting so much money on products all I can say is as soon as you find a routine that works for you STICK TO IT. Don't try to change things up just because you think your hair is going to "grow faster" it never does, you just retain more length.

Pretty Tired live: Girl I just started boycotting conditioner and deep conditioner bc of my shampoo recipe that does me so well... I went on YouTube just to see if I'm the only weirdo doing that and I'm glad there's more of us

Ayannah Hicks: I make my own shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner and honestly I've never been happier and so has my hair. I've been doing my own thing for about 6 years now your hair looks amazing BTW ☺

Mwape Fundanga: God knows how many videos I've watched of women claiming to have 4c hair then once they wet their hair a blind man 500 miles away can tell that shit is far from being 4C it's so frustrating. I say all that to say it is refreshing to finally fall on someone who actually has 4c hair and who can help a struggling sister out. you need to start selling you shampoo cause if it has actually helped you out with shrinkage I'm sure I'm not the only one willing to throw my coins your way! I checked your channel sadly they aren't that many videos related to your natural hair, would be nice to get more tips on everyday maintenance and styling but I get that putting it in a protective style is literally the best way to retain length on 4c hair, nonetheless I'm about to subscribe in hopes to fall on more videos like this!

missshamz: Your afro is beautiful! Would love to see what it looks like in a braid out or even wash and go

4CPearls: Your hair looks so healthy. Excellent job Raven!!

ShiningStar77: Raven if you want to seal in moisture and take your hair to the next level, add a aloe vera leave in to seal the cuticles and retain moisture.

Night Angel: While this routine may not work for some, it all really boils down to finding out what works for you.

tarnesh88: Raven not gonna lie when you said dark skin like me with 4c hair. I was hup what lol. I was I’m full blown 4c and high yellow lol. You came in with correction and all I could do was laugh . Can’t wait to see your shampoo and the rest of your amazing content. You hard work is showing so happy for you.

Whitney Okoro: I've stopped using store bought shampoo as well one year ago and i haven't look back! I use black soap or more often rhassoul and kaolin clay.. my hair is sooo soft and yet cleansed that i don't feel the need to use conditioner! I coat my hair with shea butter and on my very end a bit of thick pure 100% lanolin and this way i've had the softest hair i have ever experienced! Braid it for a month (I still water rinse it every week in the protective style to keep it hydrated) and this is it. Simplicity is the way to go! Raven is so right, nutrient rich diet (also through vitamins), DON'T touch your hair to not break, fats which supports your sebum conditioning and i would add hydration which IS WATER! You don't need anything else, you may want more but your hair doesnt need all that!

Sharell Freeman: Thanks for sharing this video. I'm on the journey this year. Taking better care of my skin and hair!! I love you!!

Suzanne F.: Love your natural look! You should wear it more often. Especially since its so healthy and shiny.

Missybeelondon: Your hair has grown a lot I am here for natural hair videos

Nosipho Mkhabela: Your hair and skin look phenomenal

Darlene Brewster: Raven, you are sooo correct about the Vitamin D! My doctor just prescribed Vitamin D for me❤️

Ms Temptation: I use black soap on my hair as well. I make my own black soap from scratch. It's easier than most people think. My hair loves black soap as does my skin. I haven't used conditioner in my hair in over three years since I started using liquid black soap as my shampoo.

Malissa Moore: Everything about you is so beautiful! I’m hoping to get to that point and level of confidence. I think it’s bc I have a huge head and naturally have like no eyebrows, I look like a potato and a Sphinx cat had a baby

Lola Poente: I dont use conditioner only pantene shampoo it detangles my har and makes it soft

Seun: Looking forward to the giveaway, I’ve got 4c hair too

Michelle George: You have a beautiful personality and I love watching your videos. ❤

Flower Girle: Yep. I don’t use conditioner or shampoo. No oils, gels, butters; butters, creams or products at all. And my hair has grown from bras strap length to hip/tailbone length health, hydrated, strong and thick to the ends in 2 years of no products. I have very dense, thick-stranded, low porosity hair mostly 4a/4b with a small 4 c patch above each ear and kind of peppered throughout. Sebum is the best conditioner ever. And distilled water played well with sebum covered hair, at least for my experience

Amelia Nicholas: Your hair is high porosity no wonder it works well with fats. I have a mixture of curl patterns 4c-4b-4a. Doesn't work well with fats it's very low in porosity. Although I have been incorporating pure peppermint oil in my hair regimen like in my moisturizer and clarifying shampoo and it really has been making a difference. Great video btw! Sending love all the way from
