Yummy love you what's up, y'all welcome back to my channel! Thank you so much for tuning in in today's video. I am going to be doing this cute. I call them baby doll styles, but cute ponytail style on journeys very, very thick hair. I'M gon na start out by spraying her hair with warm water and then I'm gon na add this taliah waajid detangler, which I do like this to tangler. But I'm Jackie's not having it to me, works better on her hair, so just putting it out there and, as you can see, her hair is getting so thick and it's getting longer and it's becoming more and more difficult to the tangle. Her hair so I'll be on the lookout for some really really good detanglers for those of you who have kids, who also have this type of textured hair. So I'm going to start to style out. I parted ear-to-ear by the way, I'm also using this blue magic super sure grow. I don't think I've ever done a style without using hair grease cuz it just nothing else gives a shine that I want so i'ma start out. Oh, by the way I got this brush from Walmart, it's a detangler on one side and a brush on the other. The detangler does nothing for her hair, but I really like the brush, and I was gon na - try out this curl piece, ponytail and edge control. Y'All, I have, to be honest, is complete trash. I literally threw it in the trash because it did nothing for her hair, nothing for Maya's, hair and nothing for my hair. I do not like this particular product from this line, so yeah in the trash it went and I ended up using this a touch down edge control to kind of get that slick. Look that I want new. I just put a ponytail here and I'm gon na detangle. It comb it out and put in two simple, two strand twists, add some beads and some baubles and I'm gon na do the same exact thing on the other side. So here I'm just adding some beads. If, if you don't know how to put on beads, I do have a whole video showing you how to do this I'll, probably link it at the end of this video and also in the description box. By the way, I've gotten a few comments about rubber bands. Breaking I've never had any rubber bands to break on me. The only thing I can think of, if your rubber bands are breaking after putting them on a day or two, maybe you don't wrap them as tight, because I've never had any rubber bands break on me. I actually ended up having to cut them out when I'm ready to take the style out, so perhaps maybe don't wrap them as tight, and I also used a super stretch brand which it says right on. The pack will not break the hair and they do not break easily, and I also use the salon grade rubber bands that you can get from your local Beauty Supply, but you can get them from anywhere, but just don't wrap them as tight for this middle section. I'M gon na part from corner to corner, so it's gon na look like it's parted in an X by the time I get done so I'm gon na do a one diagonal part and then I'm going to do another diagonal part to make that part two parts. So it'll be four parts total so for this ponytail, I'm gon na split this up and I'm gon na do two twists. Just like I did for those side ponytails and I'm going to end up piggybacking these on the back. Ponytails you'll see what I mean in a second, so I decided kind of last-minute to add some beads kind of, like I did for the Maya style when I kind of made a design with the beads. I decided to do the same thing here, just to make the style unique and be a little more creative. So I put three beads on there and then I piggybacked this ponytail through this back ponytail and I'm gon na twist this up into three twists. So one choice is already there because I just pulled it from the front ponytail, so the rest of the hair I'm going to twist in a to twist and I'm only gon na put beads on two of three of the twists. So leave one of the twists. Without beads, because I'm going to also piggyback that one in the back ponytail so now, I'm gon na part diagonal the other way, and what you see me doing here is kind of finger detangling and finger parting at the same time, just to make it easier because Her hair is so thick and it's all tangled. So if you have a child with really thick hair, it helps to kind of finger part it first and then clean it up with the comb. So now I'm taking the twist that I didn't put these on before the one that I left loose and I'm gon na add beads three beads to him. Just like I did the front ponytail and I'm gon na piggyback it to this back ponytail. So hopefully this made sense to me it looked. It sounds more confusing than it looks. I think you can see what I'm doing and I was trying to go for like a diamond shape, but it ended up looking like a circle home, but it's still cute to me so yeah, I'm just gon na twist up this back part and I'm gon na Put beads on it, that's it! This whole style is basically twists and beads. So this is how the whole French section looks. Basically, every twist has beads on it that back ponytail. I think I ended up with three or four twists so yeah. So for the back section, I'm gon na do two low ponytails, so kind of mid ear to mid ear and then that middle section I'm going to put two buns. So this back section is a whole lot, less complicated, very very simple. I figured since it was so much going on in the front that I would make the back pretty simple by the way you're gon na see me redo this twist. It'S because I have to it the first one and it was atrocious. So, that's why you see me doing it twice, because I didn't wrap it tight enough and basically the twists just came right down so just a simple twist and then I'm going to add some beads and I'm gon na do the same thing on the other side. So here I'm spraying yet another detangler. This is the shea moisture, kids, coconut and hibiscus extra moisturizing detangling spray, and this is probably the most the thickest part of her hair, her head and so yeah. I added some extra detangler here and I just parted it right down the middle, and I mean you can just burn it up like this. If you want to just wrap the hair around itself to make a bun, I decided to go ahead and twist it up, because her hair just does not do well when I leave it out and ends up getting married and it's lint all in there and all Kind of stuff, so it's better for me to keep her hair twisted up. That'S just my preference! So here's how the back looks. I didn't end up putting a hairpin in this one. That'S what you see right there, because this one was sticking up and when I act right, so I'll put a hairpin in it and that's really all I used to secure it. I just wrapped it around itself and put a Bible to keep it secure and that's pretty much it for her edges. I'M gon na use that same touch down edge, control, edge tamer. You know, I'm not really an edge control girl, but I do like this one. It'S one of very few: I actually prefer jail, but I really do like the touch down brim and this is the whole style. I thought it was super cute and its unique. I haven't seen many styles like this, so anyway, hey. Thank you so much for watching this video! Ok, bye! Let me know if you try out this style and if you like this video, please give me a thumbs up and please subscribe and until next time be safe and be blessed peace. You

Marianna Dowell: Omg omg omg my daughter and I both was like yes! I want to try it and so does she! This is absolutely gorgeous girl but can I ask a few questions since I'm still new to natural hair journey, hopefully it's not too many. 1. How often do you grease their hair? 2. How often do you wash it? 3. How long should a style stay in a child's hair? 4. How would you keep moisture in this hairstyle?

Pink Lady: Love it

JOY MITCHEM: Love the style and Journey she's entertaining

crysberries: Lol’. She just new she was cute when you were done...and she IS!!! Her hair is reminding me of my daughter’s hair. She’ll be 3 next month and her texture has changed so much the past year. I also had issues with build up. Recently I’ve had great success with using only the doux’s mousse def on her twists styles; surprisingly, without any other products. This is the first time we are seeing 4+ day hair styles and she won’t use a bonnet and rolls off of satin pillows. Just wanted to share since you share so much with us, in case you’re interested

Mocha Loveee: I think you should try cream detanglers( or even a cream leave in conditioner),it’s works better on thicker hair

Doris Williams: I love this style

Shamika Smoot: Cute style !!

The1KEKE77: So pretty!!!

Shanice Craigg: Great job mama she is gorgeous

Paris Bailey: It might help also with making a de tangle with leave in conditioner, water, and oils such as olive oil, Jobo oil, coconut oil, etc or what other oils you think are good and just mix in a spray bottle

Mika Peterson: Im going to try this hairstyle it's to cute

Latoya Wint: Cute

Evelynia Gill: Super Cute!!!

Laquesha Mack: Awwww she's so precious ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Debra Pipkins: Glad you are back!!! Cute!!!

Flare Caution: Kind of hard to explain.. but to find good rubber bands that won't break after a day or two are mostly be found in the hair store or the hair Warehouse. The ones that's cheaper and the ones that look a little shinier are the easier ones to break... Get the ones that look dull in color those are the good ones black or color.. if that helps or make any sense to anyone....‍♀️

Pam's Naturally Beauty Naturally You: Pretty

Do Beautiful Things: Loveeeee! Thank you! New Sunnies and fan!

Shen: Arrrr that's sad to hear about the pony tail product that was the first product I used in that brand for my daughter's hair and it holds her hair so nice and gives it such a shine n keeps it moisturised!... I watched all your videos so I've actually been waiting for you to try that product in that brand as I know you've tried the glaze one ashame it wasn't good for ya'll ..
