Don'T do it girl, it's not worth it, don't do it, i'm not going to do i'm just thinking about it. I'M not go. I actually did it. I just felt like saying this. Okay, so welcome to my tech locks video. My name is ohima. If you're new here, my hair is 4c and it is two years old, i've had a texture release, treatment which ended up, which ended up being a silk. What is it called a silk straight, no silky straight, no, which i love being one of those silky straight hair types, hairstyles and i've decided to go ahead and make my hair into a texturized straighter version of its former 4c self okay. So if you want to see how i achieved it then keep on watching. Also, just please remember that i am not a licensed cosmotologist. I just saw one girl's video that i actually really really liked how she did it, how her hair came out. I did a ton of research on um on hair relaxers and also how i can maintain integrity of my hair while trying to achieve the kind of results that i want. So if you're someone who's natural and just please know, i have been natural for six years. I'Ve cut my hair, i have grown my hair. I have cut my hair. I have grown my hair. Please do not come at me because we will be clapping back. Okay, okay, let's jump into this video. Okay guys. So i got the olive oil relaxer. This is the medium one. I stole my mom's extra virgin olive oil and i'm going to be using the living proof, restore repair mask on my hair. This is actually the level where i added the olive oil to this is just olive oil sitting. On top of the relaxer cream, and then i went in added everything else that came in the box that i was supposed to add to the relaxer to mix it, and i mixed it, and this is the mixture that you're seeing then i went ahead and dumped A ton of the living proof repair my hair mask onto it. I mixed it. I added some more olive oil to it because i didn't want my hair to be too straight, but i wanted it to be straight enough and also to be moisturized. Whenever i did it, i went ahead and sectioned my hair into whatever sections you see. My plan was to do the back of my hair last because when my hair is wet in its natural state or in its texture release state, the back of my hair has very, very, very, very loose curls compared to the rest of my hair. So i'm gon na do the back of my hair last and i did everything else before that. First now, let me explain something about my hair. I have 4c coils that i feel like my coils, were very much more defined than kinky, and even though i couldn't really do like a wash and go type thing, the thing with my hair is in it anytime. I straighten my hair. My hair can get very straight, very uniform. It'S always been like that, and i don't know why. So i did know that whenever i put this in, my hair would look straight and i have to try my best not to panic. Okay, so so what i'm gon na do is just apply. The mixture that i did to my roots, i'm just showing you how much of the relaxers left in the package, and so that means everything else before that i put into my mixing bowl, i added the conditioner and i added the olive oil into it to mix It some more now what i'm going to do, because this is a virgin relaxer, i'm going to put it all over my hair, my scalp is pretty moisturized already because i did put oils in my hair all week and i didn't need to like protect my edges Or anything because this relaxer is very very watered down, so i just went ahead and smooth it on my hair, as if i was just doing like a deep conditioning treatment and i just kept applying it until each section was covered. Please note this is not a how-to video, i'm just showing you how i did it. If you need a how-to video, maybe research, some more. There is a ton of ways that people do text accent. Some people actually use the relaxer straight out of the box. Just like that, and they only leave it on for like 10 minutes, that gives them a more straighter result than straighter results than i got. I wanted my hair to be puffy, but not like in its natural state. That'S why i did it this way. So it's puffy. It looks more like a loosened type of a thing, but it's not like straight and it's not really coily either. So that's where we are okay, foreign, so so so so do so. Okay, so i left it on my hair for 10 minutes and then i went ahead rinsed my hair out and did the neutralization no, i rinsed my hair out. I made sure to rinse it very very, very thoroughly before i came back so you guys can see what my hair looks like okay, so this is my hair after i rinsed out all the relaxer, it's very clean everything is out of it, so you can see It is as thick kinky. It feels amazing. Okay, i decided to go in with the miracle our miracle repair x, cpr treatment, which is a protein treatment before i go in and neutralize my hair, because, right after a chemical treatment, your your hair cuticles are wide open, and this is the best time to do. A protein treatment that way your hair is strengthened, even though you literally just try to break down the bonds. If you put if you're going with a protein, it just restores the protein right back into your hair, and your hair remains strong. I learned this process from whenever i used to text wax my hair. My hair was mid back. My hair was in the middle of my back. It was very thick, it was very healthy. It was very long. I just jumped on the natural train and that's why i cut my hair. My hair wasn't damaged. I don't have any horror stories of relaxer burning, my scalp or anything, because i've always gone to the um, the ghanian salon in the bronx. They did my hair really really well. My hair grew beautifully the same even long thick. They took really good care of my hair. I don't have any horror stories about that, so i i can't i don't have any horror stories about that. But after i left the bronx, i had to start doing my own hair because i was a student, didn't have any money and i started using the affirm or the avalon hair system now that one it comes with like a whole, complete system. I absolutely love using that one. I didn't have time to buy any more of that, but whenever i do, i might just go back to that one, but i also like the way the olive, the olive oil one works so anyway long story short. The avalon system tells you to you know they have a pre relaxer treatment that you put in your hair and then you relax your hair. Now after you relax your hair you're supposed to go in with the sustenance um conditioner, which is actually like a protein type. Conditioner, if i'm not mistaken, you put that in your hair for 10 minutes or more under the dryer, and then you you neutralize your hair. So that's what i did. I put this on my i put the cpr on my hair for about 30 minutes without heat. I just covered it walked around the house. I came back. I neutralized my hair really really really well. I think i did the neutralizing shampoo like two or three times um and each time i would leave it on my hair for about two minutes and then i would rinse it out, and then i went back in with the replenish um bond bond building shampoo. You guys know that i love olaplex products because of how they make my hair feel. I went ahead and washed my hair once with the olaplex shampoo rinsed it out, and this is what my hair looks like this is what my hair looks like. I was just um enjoying the fact that i can um wet my hair and pick it all up into a bun, because in my natural state i just i can't like put my hair up like that. It'S just it's not possible and i'm tired. The tgin miracle rx deep hydrating conditioner because after you use the cpr you're supposed to go back in with the deep, the deep hydrating conditioner and that's exactly what i did now you guys. If i tell you that my hair felt like cream, i don't know how to explain it. My hair felt like cream this miracle rx, i don't know what they put in it. Actually, i don't know what they put in it. It makes your hair feel so good. So nice so hydrated like right now, it's two days after the fact and every night before i go to bed, i put some of that miracle. Rx leave-in conditioner. I put some of that in my hair every night before i go to bed, it's not greasy. It doesn't weigh down my hair, and i just put my hair in braids and i go to bed and my hair feels amazing. It doesn't feel it doesn't feel crazy. I'M just touching it right now, as i'm telling you guys about it, but you know that's what i did. I just went in with the hydrating conditioner and i made sure to get all my hair root to tip, and i would twist it me twisting it like that is making sure that it coats every strand. I just kept doing this until i felt like it was all coated onto my hair and then i just proceeded to doing that, tie it up and did the rest of my head, so so so, okay guys. So i actually left this on my hair. I want to say 30 minutes, but it was longer than that. It was way way way longer than that. Okay, so just 30 minutes an hour an hour and a half all night. I actually came back to this hair at 9 30 and this was like since seven o'clock, so it was a good two two and a half hours my head is so weirdly shaped. I don't know what my parents would. I don't know what my family was doing. I was little, but my head is like a very weird shape: oh my god anyway, so i took the towel off and you can see. I feel, like my hair, dried really really quickly after i took the towel down, but this is what my hair is looking. Like i remind you, i don't have a direct light onto my hair, so i don't have like a direct light source. I don't have my ring light up. This is literally the bathroom light. Okay - and you can still see how shiny my hair was looking and this is it coming right out of the um the wash now the thing about the back of my hair. That i said i was going to tell you guys about is the back of my hair, the part where i relaxed last all the time. The part, the part that i text last has a ton of texture in it. I am not mad at it. I just whenever my hair was in its natural state. I thought that part was damaged and loose from the silks from the so pressed so press. But that was not the case, so i'm going in with the olaplex bonds with the olaplex leave-in conditioner and i literally just applied some of that onto my hair. I put it all over and then i used the olaplex hair oil um, and i put that in as well, and i just played with my hair for like a little bit. I just i let it air dry for a good 30 minutes, while just you know enjoying my hair, my hair felt so good. That'S like that's why i kept moving it around okay, guys so a good 30 minutes later. This is what my hair looks like you. Can see that it has a ton of texture, but even before i did this, i still had some straight ends, and this is where you can tell that whenever i want to go get my hair done when she cut my hair, my hair cut was uneven, so One side of my hair, one side of my head is shorter. The other side of my head is longer. The longer side is the right side of my head and i feel like that's the side that feels the most thinnest to me. So i'm gon na have to go, find someone to give me a blunt cut bob to try to even my ends and also just give me the same kind of density. All around that's a thing. That'S gon na have to happen sooner rather than later, but i went in with my conair silver bird. This is very, very, very old and i just put it on the middle setting and i just tried i was trying to dry the roots of my hair before i went to bed because i didn't want to wake up with tangled hair but yeah. This is what this is. What my hair looks like this is the density of it and when i turned around you can see that the right side of my head was definitely looking thinner than the left side of my head. So i'm gon na be using some hair growth um treatment to try to increase the density on the right side of my head. So what i did was i put my hair in in two braids, one, one on each side and i just tied it down and went to bed the next morning. Whenever i woke up. I know i didn't show it to you guys, but i went in with the i went in with the tgin leave-in conditioner and i put that in my hair and then i also repeat that same process at night. So i put some of the um. I put the tgin leave-in conditioner and then i put some of the the olaplex hair oil in my hair. I put it into the braids like this and then i just go to bed that way. Whenever i wake up in the morning when i have to take the kids to school anything, i don't look crazy, but at the same time, because i don't want to do like a silk press on my hair um, i didn't want to just like leave it. Just the way it was, i want to keep it tied up and you know protect it. That'S why i put them into braids before i go to bed, and that is what i did with my hair. Let me know down below in the comments: if you've tried, um text relaxing, let me know, use the state of your hair right now. I love you guys and i will see you guys in another video which is probably going to be a styling video, because i want to do a ponytail. Thank you guys so much for watching. Don'T leave any rude comments. I love you i'll, see you guys in another video bye, my

OHEMAA: welcome to my texlax video, PLEASE BE GENTLE. Lol Two years ago this was a cutting all my hair off video

della della: The fact that a person has to do a disclaimer for whatever they chose to do to their own hair is just not it.

Absolute Drey: If you have thick 4c hair you would understand “i am tired”

caramelcocoa234: I’m not a hater. I followed that girls video too. Ended up loving it. Then ended up hating the dryness. Then got locks. With some Post partum shedding months later my behind is back to a twa. Moral of the story : None just sharing my journey lol

Brii Rene: Girl your hair is your business. Everyone needs to do what’s best for their hair and lifestyle. Congratulations on your new journey

NAzikiwe: TIP: Make sure your texlax recipe and processing time is the same each time you do a touch up. If not, you'll end up over time with different textures all over your head which will cause tangles later. Speaking from experience!

Eshe Hardison: “not I stole my mama olive oil” I’m never too old for the convenience of my parents things.

DEBZZ94: Girl.... you won't regret doing this. I relaxed my hair after being natural for 7 years. I have no regrets at all and I do not care for anyone's opinion. My hair still feels and looks healthy. Your hair looks gorgeous

LaToya Ebony: Not sure why, but I randomly came across this video. You’ve got thick beautiful hair and gorgeous skin. ❤️

Olly Nolly: I am loving how hair care for us black women is changing. Do whatever you want with your hair. Natural, relaxed, straightened, colored, it's all good as long as you are happy. I became natural when I was 13 and for a long time I thought that I could not have fun with my hair if I was natural and it was only during quarantine that I decided f- it and went and dyed my hair bright red and cut it really short. It was hideous and I hated it but it was fun and then I had orange hair and now I have a purple bob cut and I straighten my hair all the time and I feel great. I'm tired of people judging us for how our hair looks and I'm glad that more black women are caring less. Do what you want

my wholesome lifestyle: Currently transitioning from relaxer but i will texlax some day. The struggle of dealing with 4c requires Jesus and all His angels.

Ashley Estelle: I just feel like people have to do what’s best for them. When my hair was relaxed I felt like it was it’s healthiest actually. So I can never agree when people say that relaxing eventually shows damage and that it’s ongoing. I went to the same person for years and got my new growth relaxed around every eight weeks. My hair was mid back growing and thriving. I felt like I started having issues once I hopped on the natural train. I’ve been thinking about texlaxing. I was never ignorant to the differences in upkeep of natural or relaxed hair. I’m pretty serious about my hair care. But I too am tired sometimes lol. I’m not trying to look European. I would actually love if my curls would pop. But they just don’t. It’s been 5/6 years. I have 4c hair that is below bra strap when stretched but ear length with the shrinkage. It is such a struggle. Natural just not for everybody and I been questioning if it’s still for me for a while now. I workout daily sometimes 2x a day and I spend so much time trying to manage my hair that I personally don’t get to fully enjoy it. Taking care of the hair that’s coming from your head is a personal experience. I didn’t go natural to only wear braids, wigs, and “protective styles” etc. I wanted to enjoy my hair out in its natural state and I don’t. I don’t enjoy the journey lol. I don’t idc. I’m seriously thinking about doing this.

Frugal Fixer: I couldn't deal with the inconvenience of natural hair-all the deep conditioning, limited hairstyles that were actually predictable and the expense of trying new products that come in tiny bottles. I texlax now and am very happy with that. Everyone needs to do what's best for their personal situation. Good job on your texlax!

MakeupQueenRoo: I had never heard of texlaxing till I saw this now I’m interested. Because your hair still looks very natural but it seems easier to deal with and I want that, I’m over this natural stuff because my hair stay braided because that’s easier way for me to deal with it. I’m impressed.

A: Girl! This Ghana 4c hair is something *different*. I've been natural for 6 years now and I've scheduled a relaxer appointment for next week. I'm tired too and my arms are done fighting, lol. Your hair looks great-- thanks Ohemaa :)

AFIALEXISS TV: I love this, I've texturized my hair over 3 times but seriously it still looks all natural and even thicker although it's now easier for me to manage. Your came out beautiful and looking soft

Natasha Walker: I can definitely relate to this video , I had relax hair for over ten years then I transitioned cut it and went back natural, after 4 years of natural hair I relaxed it again , and after about 2 years again I cut it all of, today I've been natural for 7 months . It's definitely a rolacoster ride for me and my hair , I have a love hate relationship with it.

Tokologo Ratlhahane: I recently relaxed my hair. I'm finding it much harder to maintain compared to when it was natural. It doesn't retain moisture at all therefore breakage is just on another level. I really would like to see how you find it different and how you maintain your relaxed hair.

Reneg8d_locs on Instagram: I have 4C Hair and I felt everything you said at the beginning of this video. I went a very different route and got microlocs. The 8 hour wash days, the detangling, the drying times all began to wear on me and my hair began to suffer I was natural since 2014 and I was OVER IT! I hope this process gives you some time back and relieves some stress for you.

I B: I texlaxed before too but once it came to the new growth- now that’s a challenge to not over straighten at that point. Eventually the hair started breaking and I cut of all the texlaxed ends and went back to 100% natural.

Kim Husbands: You were so lucky. Your hair is so resilient. Relaxing totally messed up my hair, and going natural was the only way to keep hair in my scalp.

beautyfool: This natural hair journey is a beast. It’s not for everyone. You do what’s best for you.

Belle Fabulous: For those complaining about dryness; When you texlax your hair treat it as relaxed hair. Use relaxed hair products and relaxed hair protocols . Using natural hair products will work against your hair. So do your research, take care of you, do what makes you happy and be-you-tiful!

Soft Shell: I texlaxed my 3c/4a hair and LOVED IT! I wanted to wear it straight with more ease and that's what it gave. No one had a clue II "wasn't natural" and no one needed to have an opinion- period!

Vanessa Anugwom: From a 4c natural to a 4c natural; i feel you gurl! s'bout' time, i grew a pair, and did the same. My hair's about 6 - 10 inches, but i'm unable to grab it in a bun and go. You're sooo brave!!

M. Jessica: Relaxed/texlaxed hair can definitely be healthy, and often I have seen it in better condition that some natural heads. The only time I have had problems or seen issues is some combination of relaxing too straight, relaxing too often, using a no-lye relaxer(eventually just dries your hair out), or heat styling far too often with relaxed hair(best to keep it occasional). If you relax your hair, condition it well, and mostly leave it alone like healthy natural heads do, you will end up with healthy relaxed hair.

Ulanie Wilson: Do you sis! Results looks good. I used to texlax my hair for years before I transitioned to natural. And my hair was healthy thick and flourishing. I grew it out to almost waist length. I transitioned to natural because the maintenance was too high. Caring for my hair in it's natural state is easier for me.

Cammie Nelson: Just did my touch up today ! I did my virgin relaxer last year before the 4th of July. I have ZERO regrets.

The Florida Witch: Girl i am tiredddddd I’m having a mid life crisis over my hair rn. I think it’s time to just loc up cause look. I love this choice for you , thank you for doing what works for you!

Book of Jonesha: I had someone tell me back in high school I'm so boring with my hair because I kept it in twists all the time. Like... pleeease come do my hair for me. See what you'd do with it. Anyways, beautiful hair love

Yolanda: "I am tired." I felt that in my soul. I'm 3c/4a and I'm over having to do my hair daily. I just want to hop up and do a bun or ponytail. Thank you for showing this alternative because I am seriously contemplating a G.I. Jane cut or relaxer. This texlax might give me something to work with.

Sophia: I’m thinking about doing the same. I’ve had more breakage and single stranded knots AND split ends while I’ve been natural the past few years than I ever have when my hair was relaxed. I’m tired too

Adwoa Mk: I really don't think a lot of people who recently went natural, actually want to go natural, (as in embracing whatever naturally comes out of their scalp) but more so wanted someone else's hair. I have seen African people on this platform show surprise and disappointment at having Afro coily hair rather than curly, which is so confusing.

Siera Sade: I’m sooooo happy I loc’d my hair!! That fact that I don’t have to do anything to it besides keeping it clean and moisturized. I’m absolutely in love. So Ladies if you’re tired of figuring out what style to do next, should you stay natural or perm? It’s not growing, no edges. Just loc it SIS. It’ll be the best decision you’ve made

Fadesaye: Yep! This is 2021. We are doing what works best for our mental health I’m getting a texturizer soon!

Lili Bby: As someone with 4C hair…. I just ended up locking that ish up lmao however I loveee watching texlax and relaxer vids and this one didn’t disappoint. It came out so nice

Natalie TSM_05: I positively love this!!! Your hair is a whole mood!!! I learned a few things!! I've never done this to my hair, but I may try it one day! Overflow of blessings upon you, your family, and your brand continually☦

Hairlicious Inc.: Ohemaa, amazing results! Love the thickness and health of your hair. Enjoy your texlaxed hair journey!! I’m relaxed

Jillian Walton: I love the "and I am tired"! Your hair looks so healthy. Thanks for the tip about the protein treatment before neutralizing.

datgirlleisha: My only advice is to measure everything you add so when you do touch ups you get the same results. Your diluting the relaxer and you want the same solution every time to make it consistent!

Chevelle Bryant: Im 4c as well i understand the struggle. I love what you did to your hair. Im glad you know what you doing. im be too scared all my hair gon be on the floor.

Vansun Cosplay: I relaxed my hair all of middle and high school. Now I went natural all through college because I left my hair dresser (mom) at home and I am TIRED of it!! Everyone is up in arms about me wanting to get the korean straightening treatment because they love my hair and I'm like...okay YOU come wash it for me every week

Toni Covey: I've had better results on my daughters hair by using an oil to protect the hair from over-processing. She has been tex-laxed before. So, to protect her curl pattern we put olive on all of her hair (root to tip). We try to ONLY put the relaxer on her unprocessed hair. We don't want the relaxer to process any part of the previously tex-laxed hair. We keep it on only about 2-5 mins after application. Usually works pretty well. She's super happy with her relaxed curl pattern.

Joy T. Barnum: You look so happy and content! I love it! Do you. I’m in the “it wasn’t cool when I hacked off all of my hair for it’s natural state” sector so all of these hair videos give me life. I figured it all out because there was no YouTube hahahah. I don’t identify by my hair state or type so I say, be happy and do you. I loved watching you get pure joy from touching your hair❤️

Zzzz Girl: I was scared at first because your natural hair is so healthy and beautiful, but this is cute on you and will be more manageable and versatile. DO YOU!!!

Pocahontas: I don’t have anything against what anyone chooses to do with their hair. I don’t see the big deal. There’s no criticism when someone colors their hair and that’s chemical too. I don’t think we should immediately feel the need to defend why we’re relaxing, texturizing, whatever. But I texturized my hair and it ended up feeling like straw and being all tangly. Then the strands constantly snapped/broke off. So I cut it all off and went back to natural. I guess some people’s hair can handle it. Some can’t. But my hair usually never could handle relaxer. It had been over 10 years since I relaxed. So I wasn’t sure how my hair would react after all these years. Unfortunately still can’t handle the chemical.

Thee Deevyne Goddess: Your hair grows fast I can’t believe it’s been two years already! You have some beautiful hair!

• SASHA •: “...and I’m tired!” Girl, I felt that.

N L: Psst... Girl to girl--getting a relaxer at the salon is great. You can get different types/brands. Every few years I get the relaxing itch and get a mild relaxer to make my life easier without breaking the bonds of my hair enough to make it pin straight. Everyone's hair is different though!

Sheree Gaskins: I used to texlax my hair before I decided to loc it. It was so much easier and better to deal with when I knew what I was doing. It was healthy and growing and flourishing. I’ve always loved my natural hair as well but locs seem to be the best way to care for it for me, in that state. It was never about relaxed and texlaxed vs “natural” for me. We must always do what works best for us. You did an amazing job with your hair.

LuvBytes07: Your hair came out beautiful. I'm glad you decided to do what's best for you and your lifestyle. I was natural for almost a decade (2009-2017) and could no longer deal with spending hours doing my hair so in spring of 2017 I went and got a Japanese smoothing treatment (a Japanese perm left on curly/coily hair for 15 minutes then rinsed and neutralized) and I've never looked back. I still have my curls and coils but my hair is permanently elongated and it takes me mere minutes to detangle, wash, and style my hair as opposed to hours. I regret nothing.

Emma Mukundi: I love how when I got my hair relaxed as a kid they didn’t add any oils to the relaxer, then proceeded to blame the fried ends on my hair type, ya girl is learning!!!

A. Nicole At Home: Hey Ohemaa! Your hair looks great! I too have grown and cut and relaxed and went back natural, and repeat for years. I recently tex-laxed my 4c hair and I love it! Although I didn't dilute the relaxer and left it on the back of my hair too long bc it has the tightest coils and got it a little too straight, but I still love it. So, it's your hair, enjoy it, I know I am!

Sweetheartbabez: Your hair looks so good and even though it’s relaxed, it still looks natural. Love it.

One Vanity: I did my daughters hair yesterday and I'm satisfied with the results.

Francoise Hesse: I'm so tempted! I love the use of olive oil and conditioner to "dilute" the effects of the relaxer. That's a really good shout! Hmmmm, it's great watching it on YOUR hair, but my texture is not as full so that's what's scaring me. Anyway, your results were LOVELY!

Tina12: The beautiful thing about hair is that it grows back! I permed for 10 years before I went natural and it was also super healthy growing to waist length. Then I big chopped and grew for 3 years and it quickly grew to past shoulder length. Soon after I did a Mohawk, then pixi cut, now back to growing it out. Yet again within 6 months I have a long Afro which I can style however I want. I am part of the 4c community. The point is, it’s your hair, be liberated and have fun! Sis’s hair looks gorgeous either way!

Jwillscool *The Jamaican Gaijin*: I just love your hair! It looks so beautiful! Thick strong and full of life!

Miss Hines: Don’t cut it, it’s fine❤️ Have fun with it! Unless you plan on wearing it bone straight, please don’t cut it I LOVE IT LOL!!

Dawn RoseWood: Every time I get frustrated with my hair I come to these videos lol. I don’t think I’d ever do it though. I’d never want to have to start over growing my hair again.

ThatAbabioGirl: Thank you for going into detail. I texturized my hair a couple of months ago and I completely messed up (I was tired of natural lol). Going to follow this and try it again!

Peachdrop Gumdrop: Hey shawty as someone who has contemplated on doing this you did great. I honestly don’t get why people would be rude. They not doing your hair or helping maintain it so Ig what I’m trying to say is do what’s best for you

Bri Z: You grew all that hair in 2 years?! I’m so embarrassed my hair literally grew maybe like 4 inches in 2 years and idk what’s the problem. Congrats on the new journey btw it looks great!

mjsolomon: I love your french braids at the end. I wish I knew how to make mine "be on top" like that. The only thing I can say about texlaxing and relaxing is that it wasn't easier for me. All the blowdrying and heat styling, and it never hung right. Natural is easier for me. But I don't have 4C hair either.

La Tricia Gooden: Omg your skin is glowing girl!! So beautiful, thx for the video. I did a similar texlax years ago and I wish I knew about protein treatments then, so that tip is so helpful.

JL Kitz: WHO is still opening their mouths about what other people do with their hair?! Do YOU! You're lovely no matter WHAT you do ✌

Ladiosa Amor: I'm not a fan of relaxers because of my own experience but 4C is challenging... I can understand why she did it, but the aftermath tho, the dryness n breakage I'm crying already girl

Sally Ann: I also used to go to the salon but I definitely have horror stories /: my skin is super sensitive so I've been burned before. I chopped my hair a few years ago and haven't relaxed or used heat since. But I'm really really reconsidering relaxing it again so PERFECT timing that I found this video ❤️

Valerie Aseye: I'm so happy for you Ohemaa..my hair is depressing me and I'm considering texturizing it

Bhadgyaledds: I genuinely think your hair came out so beautiful but my mood changed when I read the comments all the comment are literally just hating on 4C hair!!! I don't know what ya'll be using on your 4C hair because mine is definitely easy to manage. My hair has been 4C for 2 years and it was the best decision I have ever made. My hair grows so fast now with my relaxed hair it literally stopped upper neck length, my scalp is so healthy now with no chemical burns and my hair is so puffy and soft it feels so nice

NanookiePookie: Girl, do you want to do with your hair and don't mind the haters! When you said you had a weird head shape, I had to laugh. My husband is American and every time my head shape is showing and he says something, I say, "hey! Leave my Ghana head alone o"

IDFWY: Yeah I get it lol that's why I've put locs in my hair now Was just done with all the combing!Just dooooonnnnneeee! It's been two and a half years and I ain't going back ‍♀️Plus my hair has never been this long ever in my life

Dynisha Z: Girl you did GREAT!! I’m saving this video!! I’m 4 c very kinky and I would luv to try this I might not leave it on as long though, but I want a little relief to be able to handle it better. I like the blow dry look textured hair better!!

Patricia Duke: Your hair your business!!!! I was natural for several years and I went back to a relaxer AND I HAVE ZERO regrets! I love it! Welcome back to the creamy crack!

Tokelo Love: When I say I'm tired. Grew my hair natural out bra strap length twice over 7 years which means I've big chopped my long hair twice, and few months I said screw it and big chopped my shoulder length hair for the third time and since then I've kept it Amber Rose! Reached breaking point with my hair, I went from considering relaxer to straight up needing a break from hair altogether, no box braids, twists nothing, I just wanted to get in the shower everyday and feel the water running through my scalp. It's been liberating for me in so many ways In the words of India Arie, I am not my hair

Fatou Mounzeo: The disclaimer though !!! Your hair is so thick. I never really thought about texlaxing but it looks good.

Cheryl Griffin: Your hair is healthy and beautiful, your routine is amazing. I think plenty of people texture release, and admit it. Great video, God Bless

Evelyn Wilkerson: I am living vicariously through you. I love your hair and am strongly considering going all in and getting a relaxer after I get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Black In Beauté: Hey I’m not mad at you! You’re hair looks super thick and healthy

Aisha Chandler: I feel that "I am tired" in my soul. Im in braids because I too, am tired. I have been wanting to relax my hair for a few months now.

Regular Black Girl: I get it girl, I’ve been natural for almost 10 years and I’m over it

Shane Pruitt: It is your hair and I appreciate people who do what’s BEST FOR THEM!!

Blackberry- Rose: I’ve never tried tex laxing my hair in its natural state it is 4A. Your hair looks very healthy, thick and shinny.

Lady Rachel🌟: Your hair is so beautiful. It looks healthy and vibrant. ❤

Truly ADETOLA: Your hair is beautiful. It's so important to just do you at all times. Love it!

Dee Evans: hair looks gorgeous, I relaxed mine a sixteen months ago....love it the freedom!!

Femineity: Watching you do your hair, O, made me miss my shoulder ROM even more! Question! How did you know what products to mix that would work well together and not harm your strands? It looked really nice and healthy once you were done! I look forward to seeing you do some styling videos! I know they'll be cute!

Patricia Patrick: I can understand your tiredness and pain dealing with all that hair. Been feeling same way and I cut my hair three years ago and I feel like I may be going down this path soon. It’s either I heat train my hair or I texlax it. I’m tired

KindlyK: My hair must be 4Z, I tried texlaxing a few years ago and I kid you not my hair barely changed texture. It did thin out a bit but that was it. From that day I learned that what works for others might not work for me. My hair does whatever it wants ‍♀️

Danie ツ: I've been natural for 7 years and I've cut my hair to wave length 3× over the years. People, it's just hair. Most importantly it's HER hair so nothing she does or don't do to HER hair affects yours. Plus I mean, if she doesn't mind having to cut/start over her hair if anything happens then shush!!

Tanea Bree: It’s just about manageability, this came out beautifully!!!

Indigo T: Wow never heard of Texlaxing before this is very interesting! I have 4c hair as well I big chopped all my hair off right around the time Blank Panther first came out and honestly I struggle so much my hair hasn't grew much it has some length but not what I feel it should , but I'm definitely gonna do some research on this ❣️

Tamara Terrell: Sis! I am always soooo tempted to do it but I just can’t Your hair and skin is awesome! Be blessed!

Angie's Loc Life: You are my Ghanaian name twin and hair twin I tried texlaxing back in the day - the consistency didn’t work out for me and I ended up going natural again, but will keep watching as I hope it works for you - your hair is luscious!! If it doesn’t work out though go and get some Sisterlocks. You will enjoy so much hair freedom and 4c hair locks so well!!

yamanya tembo: Hi Ohema! Your hair looks gorgeous as always. I don't think your right side is less dense. I think it's the way it was cut. The left side looks shorter and as though it has layers which makes it look thicker. I am sure once you even it out with a cut it will look balanced. But that's just from looking at it. You can tell better than we can.

Arturo R Sanchez: 4C here. Been natural 5 years. It’s so challenging caring for natural hair. Your technique sounds like a resolve for me. THANKS.‍♀️‍♀️

Aundrea Williams: I don't blame you one bit. I've been avoiding it for a while, but now I want to try it. I'm tired of getting silk presses and flat iron styles just for it to puff back up in the next few hours. I'm also tired of the single stand knots and breakage, no matter how much I detangle

Kay None: Your hair is so healthy!! I recommend tees hair gummies if trying to grow out your hair, they are awesome and vegan. My hair has grown out immensely.

Symphony Blue: I texlax my hair the end of last year & I love it. I was natural for 7 years & I got tired lol

QD KittenB: Welp im glad i did find this channel. Ive been thinking about a slight relaxer but was trying to stay strong. I can do twist out ans my hair naps back up in just a few hours like...Why??? Being natural has been so difficult I see you!!! Shake it girl!! But dont get a kink in ya neck I love it❤❤❤
