What'S up Kings, it is nappy food all up on your screen. Looking straight Krusty, I don't care I'm coming at chop with a that nap by video, sometimes and the 4c hair length, maybe more times and sometimes probably like most of the time. It'S like this dry stands: don't want to give you no kind of life. Well, I want to breathe life back into contour. Okay, keep watching that before chicken in Lego. Don'T be scared! It'S me. It'S me if you news my channel you're gon na notice, that I have no shame. I hope guy like this is me all day. Alright, so just ignore what's going on here and focus on this, so when my hair is like this okay, when I have my hair out and about as I have been doing this week, it does you know your eye up quicker. You know why? Because the elders are out, they weren't twist it tucked away protect it. It was out chilling on it. You know them at their best fight until you got tired of it, but everybody else wants a fake a little bit longer. So you know the elders started. Acting up and as usual, you got to respect your elders, so they win. You know we're about to go ahead and get them together and we are going to go back to protect the style mode. Okay, if you new to my channel one thing, I always call the ends is the elders. They really are. The oldest part of your hair you've got to respect them. You feel me if your hair starts drying up. That'S your elders telling you we need you to protect us with all of your heart, soul and spirit. You have not been doing that. So that's why I'm drying up on you like a desert. When my hair is like this, I know a simple sprit, spritz spritz put some our cream cuz my oil twist it up. It'S not gon na do it. I need to go ahead and reset and a couple of couple of videos ago, I didn't think I did. I have like two or three videos about hydration versus moisture, and I talked about your hair being at maximum hydration on wash day and when the hydration starts to deplete it's no longer at maximum hydration. To get it back to be, to get it back to where you need your hair to be as moisturize as possible, you have to get it back to max direction, and that normally happens on wash day is. When I have received the most moisture we lock in so much of it and then it starts to deplete throughout the week, if you're able to catch that moisture before it fully depletes you'll get it closer to Maksim hydration. You won't get it at maximization, but you'll be closer than something then the next girl who let our hair get all the way dry like me. So I know that tomorrow, I'm gon na watch the hair, get it soaking in the water and all the kind of good stuff. So I'm gon na prepare my hair and it's what I like to do. First thing I'm naughty to do is that I can't part my hair when it's stiff and dry, like this, like that'll, be just suicide to my King spit. You feel me since I am LP lowpoo low porosity. I go nope, oh, how you wanna call it low porosity, I'm gon na take my water bottle and I'm going to fill it up with lukewarm water. All right. Why do I use lukewarm water with low porosity? Our hair has a hard time accepting moisture into it. It holds protein very well, but when it comes to us when the moisturize, our hair, we have to find a way to get it to open up to it. So don't do that using a lukewarm water help and what else would help is if you go ahead and join team, Pink's honey, you out there watching me. It'S been three minutes. My friend, oh he's just right and hit the bills, so you know the next time. I'M all up on your screen, saying yeah, helps to raise the cuticles up to accept some moisture in cold. Water will do pretty much the opposite of that. I personally am NOT a big fan of using cold water on low porosity hair, but, of course, high porosity, hair y'all benefit from it. The most yeah. For me, room, temperature or lukewarm gets the job done alright. So, as you have already figured out to get my hair back to where it needs to be yet to revamp this sucker, the primis going through wash day so now that my hair is parted, I'm ready for my pre-poo, I'm gon na be using extra virgin olive Oil, the tools I use for my pre post 8 is extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil. Yes, indeed, yes, indeed, as it recently what happened. Taking my moisture life and moisture retention life to the next level, doing a pretreatment using aloe vera gel this step has been taking my moisture game to the next level. So what I do is take a fresh aloe vera leaf. Okay, when I say fresh, I mean fresh okay and all I'll do is take the gel work. It right there on the scalp, and this does take time yeah, it sure does but is well worth it. You know granted, my hair is dry is really dry and I could've grabbed the spray bottle with some aloe juice and there are some water grab, my favorite of conditioner, I mean we're, leaving conditioner moisturizer and call it a day. But when you know your hair gets to a certain dry that you know, if you do that, water cream, you just masking it, you want this to go inside. You want this to go deep into the soul of your hair. Only wash they do that only wash okay, all right. So now. What I'm pretty much gon na do is go to sleep. Okay, I'm gon na do right. Now is let my let it sit on my beautiful kinks overnight, okay and then that's when the real fun begins. What is this alright? So here we are the next day y'all and my hair, as you can see, that treatment has definitely soaked all the way into her okay. I do want to mention that when it comes to you having to read back your hair, there are many ways you can revamp the hair being the spray bottle and grab some cream, especially if you feel like your hair's, not that bad. It'S not that dry but um, like I said, there's a certain type of dryness. You have to be real, true self and realized that spraying and creaminess is not gon na get it, and when this happens, when you know your moisture is just really not retaining like it needs to, you need to do a clarifier or a detoxifier on your kinks. Today, I'm gon na do a detoxifier. I love clay, so I tend to use clays a lot more, but there are times in which I just have to reach for the clarifier and if you think to yourself, how do I know that check out my men? You watch their videos y'all, I have a whole playlist link is in description box. I hope it helps, there's a reason why I do have so many wash their videos y'all. I think I've spoken about how I feel like this is really what starts a healthy hair journey. This is what starts it. This is what keeps it going. This is what feeds into that healthy, hair, long hair, that you want what you're doing wash day wait. Who are you looking at like that? Okay girl, anyway, how your watch that is really does guide your natural hair journey. So when you make, when I make mistakes like what I'm doing right now, you know I let that sucker be dry and I wasn't worried about it for at least a few man, I'm going to tell you how long it was like that it takes me. Make me go a couple of steps back, but this wash day it's like a first aid kit. Let the healing begin alright. So the clay is rinsed out. So now I am going to deep condition and sit underneath the heated dryer me coming close to the camera. Like that reminded me of this watch their video, I was watching the other day and the girl was doing like a sponsored video. She rinsed out the shampoo & the shampo supposed to be like a moisturizing shampoo and then she gets close and say. Oh, my gosh, my hair is already looking so good. Look how my calls I pop in - and I just thought to myself, but your hair is soaking wet. That'S that's why it looks like that like if my hair is soaking, wet it'll, look very much the same way, but I want to know what your hair looks like after you have dry. Your hair is dry from all that product you are using. Is your clothes still popping or just slopping? That'S what I want to know. Let me stop. I'M just being mean y'all anyway, alright and there you have it y'all. I have gone through all the steps that are needed. This is the last step. Moisturizing moisturize the outside and that inside okay and then do my leaving conditioner and I'm not gon na style. My hair tonight, I'm gon na actually stretch it letting their hair be stretched. I'M coming to learn actually lets the moisturization trickle down your kinks. I'Ve been easier, as opposed to like going straight into a wash and go or something okay anyway, that's it y'all so to revamp. I just hop back in the shower and I give contour some tea. What was it some TLC that she needs? Alright? That being said, we have come to today's nap check question and what I would like to know from you is: how often and be honest, do you find yourself in the same situation? I just got myself out of. He was having meetings. Maybe you in school he's having classes finals before you knew it. It was three weeks four weeks, two weeks since the last time you moisturize or touch so helps you just use black dates. Just flew on, by be honest, be real. When was the last time that happened to you and how did you revamp your kinks? Let us know in the comment box below trust me. Your response will help another naturale. I hope you enjoyed today's video. If you did, please go ahead and help your girl out by hitting that subscribe button and make sure you hit the bell right next to it. So you can be notified the next time that I am all up on yo screen. Also, if you're bored during the week come on the hangout with me on Instagram snapchat Facebook. All of that all of that - and I will catch y'all on the next one. Until then remember to have you know what my hair really did get revamp look at this sucker just flowing shining. Oh anyway, I didn't leave my hair like this y'all just I did a twist on a word out that night, but then I played up until tight until a bun, where my ends were tucked away. Alright, so shout out to the revamping. This is how I know how to get my kicks back to what she knows: another a good wash day with detoxing or clarifying alright y'all. So next Sunday remember to have healthy hair. You guys to do healthy things, consistently. Happy food checking out deuces

Watch Her Work It: You LITERALLY put this out right before I started my wash day. I haven’t washed my hair in almost 2 weeks, ain’t been wearing my bonnet, and haven’t put ANNYYYYYY moisture on my hair. The elders are scolding me and forsaking me right now.

GiGi: Love this channel. The BEST hands down. Nappyfu you have transformed me from being ashamed of my naps ALL MY LIFE; covering them up or frying them chemically, to at 45, finally being FREEEEEE and SO very proud of my BLESSED BEAUTIFUL NAPPY HAIR!!! I am forever thankful. Love you girl! ❤

Golden Goddess: I must confess... My hair gets like this 90% of the time. I am so bad. A scarecrow has more moisture than my hair! This video came at the perfect time. I've got to do better. Thank you!

princess queen: Honestly I haven't been letting my hair get like that for the last 4 months. I'm so proud of myself. I've actually been diligent about washing my hair every week and deep conditioning. I alternate between a moisturizing shampoo and a clarifying one. Shea moisture jamaican black castor oil line and the manuka honey line have been my best friends. My hair is popping lately.

Jordan Kauwling: I just wanted to say that I’m so happy you’re back. I’m transitioning from loose natural hair to starter locs and tbh I have never watched your videos for the hair tips. I just think you are such a genuine person and that’s why I watch. I sincerely hope you receive all of the good things in life, wonderful companionship, the resources to do what you want in life and joy joy joy!

miniminott48: NappyFu, I know we are not the same hair type- I'm 3C/4A- but I subscribed to your channel almost a year ago because you give us valuable tips to care for our hair and you are hilarious and entertaining in your delivery. You are one of my top favourite natural hair Youtubers. I look forward to your videos and miss you badly whenever you disappear for long periods. Sending love to you from Jamaica.

MOE Better TV: When I’m overwhelmed with responsibilities, by hair definitely falls by the wayside. What works best for me is keeping my hair is mini two strand twists. I’ve neglected my hair/elders for about a month now. My hair feels a mess. I’m due for a full hair reset day

Mena Haze: I currently have been trying to revamp my kinks after color treating my 4C hair. Bleaching has MURDERED my already dry hair!!! Your videos are always very informative... Thanks for sharing!

Marley Hill: My hair was acting up last week Thursday. I did a full moisturising session with leave ins but on Friday my hair was dry crispy and Flaky! Product build up determined. I clarified and chelated with 3 shampoos lol and deep conditioned. Hair is now back to happy. I was due to strip, the buildup, hard water minerals, pollution and chlorine out of my hair. I do this every 6 or so weeks like clockwork. Otherwise my hair pretends "Moisture?! I never met her!" lol!

Sista_Smurf: 80% of the time I let my hair get dry ... I am ashamed I must do better sis!

Ingrid from Toronto: Hi sis. I have your hair type (4c/4d) all over my head and I semi free form my hair. It’s the easiest to maintain, it grows, it blows in the wind and it’s soft to the touch. I documented my journey. It made me realize that our hair type is really fantastic and doesn’t need to be tamed. I wake up and go and it looks better every day. Best decision I ever made. I think it would look great on you too. All the best and thank you for your videos. Peace.

Nyantee A: I love these videos so much. They are so direct yet entertaining and always under 15min. Perfect content

sassybrown: So many of us were being lazy these past couple of weeks. Honestly, your video was just what I needed. It was literally right on time. I'm happy to see you back on. I love your videos. Thank you.

lifecuriosity: I literally just did a reset after neglecting her for a few weeks... ends cut, clay detox, shampoo, dc, and moisturize. My wash and go look bomb today!

Noree Hix: I remember I was being super lazy and my hair went undone for 3 weeks it was kinky, knotted and felt like Brillo. I was putting dry shampoo and rose water to revamp it and it made it worse! So to revamp it I used aloe vera juice and peppermint oil to prepoo, an apple cider vinegar clarifying serum and deep conditioned with Hask unwined formula and I finished off with Mane choice tropical moringa styling products. Toya was looking so hydrated and shiny, people were in awe!

Toni Jos: When my hair is super dry, I go back to the old school : I use a mixture of hot water and conditioner in a spray bottle and I apply Vaseline or blue magic hair grease to my hair and scalp and I carefully detangle with a comb, twist my hair, let it dry overnight and style it the next day or throw on a wig. It may not be for everyone, but it works wonders on my thin 4c hair.

Dragon Lily: Hey Nappyfu, I've been pre-pooing with coconut oil on my last 3-4 wash days. I was shedding handfuls of hair for months. I knew that my health and nutrition were good, so I had no clue what was going on. When I watched one of your other videos in which you explained hygral fatigue and how the coconut oil protects low porosity hair - I immediately moved the jar of coconut oil from the pantry to the bathroom - fast fast. My shedding has decreased 65-70% at a minimum. Who knew that hair could get too much moisture? YOU DID. Thank you!

MJ W: Good to see you posting again. I've learned so much from your channel. I don't let my hair get super dry anymore. I do protective styling (a mix of individual and faux locs) for 6 to 8 weeks at a time. Every day I mist my hair and scalp daily with rose water or a leave-in. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! I wash my locs and scalp every 2 to 3 weeks. During those wash days I'll saturate my locs, scalp, and hair. I use a heavier sealant like my homemade whipped shea butter (I whipped with extra virgin olive oil, jojoba, JBCO, peppermint, eucalyptus, and bergamot essential oils added for fragrance). My hair does stay pretty moisturized when in the faux locs. Inbetween installs, I do my treatments for a week to get ready for a new install. I do an oil detangle (learned that from you), hydrate, then layer on Burts Bees Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment, then rock twist outs. I'll wash twice during the week, I concentrate on cleansing the scalp and clarifying the hair. Then it's deep condition time and back into protective styling.

EsssDot: I just got my daughter (7 years old) out of this situation yesterday lol now she rocking her moisturized mini twist!

Naila Ra: Great video been following you for awhile now. You actually helped get back into taking care my natural hair better but recently it's been dry because I had put in a WEAVE. And I regret it because I lost so much moisture and and a bit of hair. I had to come back to your page because I need to refresh my memory on how to get my hair back on track. Lol Also where can i get the aloe vera that you used in the video?

Tiyana Starr: LOL! Your commentary is hilarious. I’ve left my hair in this state waaaay too many times. I just started moisturizing my hair every single day. I needed this video just like I need all of your other videos.

Kitty Wartooth: just found your channel and im in love. my daughter has 4c hair and taking proper care of it has been a huge learning process for me, thank you for making such good quality, easy to understand videos!

To Be Continued: Wow. I have been there more times than I care to admit! The last time I decided to do another big chop/do over. I’ve been pretty good and consistent since then... Same routine, same products e’rry week. So far, so good. We tank God!

Anissa R: Girl I love you so much!! I am not 4c I’m in the 3c/4a-ish medium porosity club. However I’ve been watching your vids for forever and I use a lot of your tips plus you be acting up and I love it! You’re so entertaining and knowledgeable. Light and love sis

Rachelle Charles: I am going through this dryness right now! LOL. Been wearing a wig for the last 3 weeks and MAYBE moisturizing 1-2 a week. Planning on pre-pooing tomorrow and washing my hair this weekend.

Zurii Taylor: who else is watching because they been disrespecting their elders ‍♀️‍♀️ I'm on week 3 of dry dirty hair. Lawwddd give me strength !!!!

i.am.sherane: 8:20 that just happened to me like a few weeks ago. Time just slipped away from me and i didnt detangle, shampoo or moisturize for bout 2 and a half weeks then when i finally did, my hair was unbelievable dry and brittle. It was super hard to detangle and i received more shed hair than usual, possible even breakage. I usually like to keep a consistant weekly regimen so the health and length of my hair can flourish but when i neglect my hair like that it sets me back a lot

Flower Girle: I have long, low porosity, very thick, predominately 4b/4c and Ive definitely been there with hair neglect. So what I did to rectify the situation was put my hair in mini twists mostly, stop using all products and start water washing my hair like 3 times per week. Has worked wonders for me for the past year. Hair stays with just the right of moisture and length retention is very on point. Detangling is sooo much easier believe it or not. Plus I’m not putting all my time, energy, and money on hair and products lol. All I been using is a shower filter? cotton t-shirt, my fingers, my spray bottle filled with distilled water (very occasionally rosewater)and that’s it!

Bokang Motopi: But NappyFu, how did you know I let my hair get dry as the Sahara and needed some motivation to wash my hair?!?! Why are you SOCHH EH JENIUS?! Love from another Nigerian sister❤️ Edit: answer to the question, I have my absolute final exams starting Wednesday so your girl has been cooped up not caring for my kinks 3 weeks.

Erica Washington: I’m so glad I came across your channel. You are a life saver for me. New subscriber!! Been natural for a few years now and I’ve been struggling. Your videos helps me a lot. Thank you!!

Deandra Nduka: You're just a beautiful soul inside and out and your videos are so helpful! Your boldness and love for yourself is so inspiring, you are a blessing to my life. Thank you for never giving up on be a blessing to those around you as you love yourself in Christ and teach us young African 4c hair chicks how to as well.

toshawne williams: Been planning a major conference at work for several weeks, and have not been in self-care mode at all.. I'm ready now, cause these kinks need some serious care. Thank you Nappy Fu. Always a pleasure to watch you.

Kiersten H: Girl, I was just about to wash my hair after having it in a puff for 5 weeks. How did you know I needed this? I've been crazy busy since I'm in college and it's been Midterm season. You a god send girl!

ViserableVegan: It got abnormally dry during my last african threading set. Granted, I had my hair threaded for a month, but I changed up my routine from spritzing with water and then oil, to oil only following the opinions of a certain well known loctician... Anywho, he claimed oil would be enough to keep a head moisturized. It was not. When I use a water spritz and oil, my hair feels much much better and behaves better.

Tobby Kowal: Hello!! Good to see your face! I was supposed to wash Flora yesterday but too exhausted. Instead I washed it today and added a scalp toner that I made! Then I condition it 3 minutes, rinsed, then deep conditioned my hair under the dryer for 30 minutes. After rinsing then added herbal hot oil for 20 minutes. Then added the loc method. I am now tired, lol. Thanks for sharing! <3

Mello: Girl my hair got super dry like this last week. I used a cream, water, & a little Jamaican black castor oil. Then I used some steam to work it’s magic to allow the products to penetrate my hair. It feels so soft & fluffy and most of all, moisturized.

Red😎Afrθ🌸: I love your informative videos! Thanks so much ❤ I used to wash every month+ (now every 2 weeks) & the day or 2 before washing OMG, my hair would be dry, stiff, no style, a lot of build-up ... and like NO product would help! Washing, deep condish, and steaming, leav-in condish, would make it much better. And now doing it every 2 weeks is even better. But I want to try the Aloe Vera Gel as a "pre-poo" I've only used little bit of Aloe Juice in my leave-ins.

Kathy MahoneStreet: I shampoo every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the dryness of my hair. I use aloe juice and a oil blend to detangle before clarifying and deep conditioning with steam. I do sleep with a protective wrap at night and protect my ends. I sometimes moisturize daily with a cream and oil when I retwist my hair. I dust my ends as needed. I don’t do anything overnight.

Renee Bank: @NappyFu it's so nice to see someone on YouTube who has hair like mine. I Big Chop in May 2019 because I literally didn't know how to care for my hair in it's Natural state. Since finding you my hair is very hydrated no longet breaking or shedding. Mid-week if my hair is losing moisture thanks to you I know how to revitalize until the end of week wash routine. Thank you for being so real with us sharing your story.

Fuller Wms.Evans: Nappyfu I just did something amazing. It was time for protein and hot oil treatment. I combined the two together. I mixed conditioner with Protein by Green Beauty then coated my hair with hot oil. Set under hot cap. RESULTS WAS FABULOUS!

Gardened Coils: Yesss NappyFu! She is so bomb! I have Low Porosity hair too and I rely on prepooing my hair to keep it together using natural products. I make an at home Shea butter moisturizing cream too and at-home hydrating banana deep conditioner for after protein treatments. I share my DIYs on my channel ☺️ my mom is from the islands and honestly when she cared for my hair, my hair was the most healthy. I decide to go back to using the natural products she would use for me growing up!

the girl power: You make wash day look amazing, fun, and relaxing. My wash day I have to take breaks because the struggle is real.

Shana Manning: OMG I just found you as of today and I'm loving you. I watch lots of natural and you're the only one who understands/knows the struggle. You have touched on every struggle us 4c girls go through

keita34: The last time my hair got crazy dry? Today!!! I haven't had time to do my hair in 3 weeks! I am prepooing today, shampoo tomorrow followed by a henna treatment and a moisturizing mask!

Dia S: You and your hair are beautiful! So glad to see other ladies loving their 4C kinks!♥️

Kadesh Hendricksen: I love that I have access to videos like this as a white woman because everything I learned about how to care for my hair is THE OPPOSITE of what your type of hair needs and if I am ever in a situation where I have to care for a child with hair like yours I don't want the child to feel like they have to teach the adult how to care for them. This is really good knowledge. Seriously, the whole process for straight hair is the complete opposite.

Emilee Bates: I don’t think I’ve ever let my hair get this dry in the past year or two. I have waist length BLEACHED platinum blonde kinky hair. If I let my hair ever get this dry I might as well just big chop because it’ll be breakage city!

DawnofA: I have discovered the hard way that i cannot just bun my hair. I had grown it pretty long and I was in a play and had to wear a wig 5 times a week. So I got lazy and bunned it basically for like two or three months. I lost a few inches and now I'm weaved up for a bit to regroup. Retention is a major problem for me. I grow hair, It's just hard to keep it!

CVinaye: This video is so timely. I spent the weekend at a spa, acting like I don't need to moisturise these coils. I'm currently on my way home with a high puff drier than the Sahara ‍♀️

marvinandjosh1: I haven’t ever let my hair get bone dry. I don’t go longer than 10 days without washing my hair. I also use very moisturizing products and they keep my hair moisturized between wash days.

ThissQuiss: I have more issues with dry scalp than dry hair. I’ve tried ACV rinses, oil treatments and all, but my scalp still gets severely dry despite me dropping sulfate shampoos and trying to wash less.

Vanessa K: #Teamkinks ❤️ my hair is dry dry, and I didn't know what to do with it. Thank you for this video. Love all the way from Namibia .

Seasonal Frostbite: Thank you for this video!!! I protective style in crochet braids when I can’t be bothered. I just corrected this problem for myself. Simple deep conditioner made from a conditioner apple cider vinegar baking soda and honey. I then wash it out after and hour episode of your choice of Netflix drama and then final rinse with cold water. My 4c hair likes heat to keep moisture in so I blow dry to stretch putting extra dark castor oil and a moisturizer. My hair stays moist for about a week.

Fezeka Matotyeni: The last time my kinks were crazy dry was before I subscribed to you. I took your advice since my 4c is also LP and sis...I cannot thank you Enough

Natasha Reeder: Fantastic video's! Learned so much. My hair is mixed African (father) and Ukrainian Caucasian (mother). My parents didn't know what treatments, shampoos or conditioners to use. I grew up in the 1970's U.S. when Black women flat ironed their hair. I didn't have my dad's female relatives living close to me to teach me about natural products. And he was clueless about Black women's hair. There was no Internet. No YouTube. And only 4 TV channels! After more Caribbean women came to the U.S. they educated Black women how to use Aloe, Coconut oil and cocobutter on our hair. I learned about West African Black soap for my skin, but not my hair. I wish I had African women friends to educate me. Now age 56 I look at You Tube video's to help me and found NappyFu. Love your African accent. What country are you from? I am now fully disabled and am too weak to wash my hair. I didn't know that my African hair would look more African and nappy at my roots because of the built up oils and coconut and other oils I put in it. Thanks for teaching me how to "Clarify" my hair with the Ghana Black soap!!!

Lilly K: Girl, you’re the best.. I love all your videos.. great infos and the best bit is, regardless of whatever mood, I’m in, I always end up with a smile and a happy heart.. thx NappyFu

eveningbreeze: The last time I had braids. I didn't spray my hair for 6 weeks. When I took those braids out hair was drier than ive ever experienced. I was so nervous. First wash day and DC did not cut it. So i had to DC again a few days later and left it on for about 6 hours. That got me back right. Never will I do that again. I have a new set of braids in now and she gets moisturized DAILY.

psr076: I was going to wash my hair and you pop up ! I had to watch you ! I find my hair in this situation last week . It happen rarely. I did a a braid out but it failed so I know what to do next time

Ava Archie: 4c comrade here! I enjoyed my FIRST viewing of the videos you've posted on your channel -you do have NO SHAME! I LOVE it! My hair is always 'out & about' -living their best life -Elders winning! I don't know what to do! i want to WEAR my hair out -2 days out & it starts drying up -like a dessert. i can't "reset" every TWO days!!!! shoot -i don't know what to do other than -sprit-sprit -sprit...maybe i can MIX hot water with aloe vera & avocado/olive oil & sprit-sprit-sprit -I need to keep going UNTIL 'wash day' -which CAN'T happen for TWO full weeks -minimum.

Carol Muodza: Lmao it’s been a month since I’ve touched my hair! Full time work, study, life in general has been getting in the way of me showing some respect to my elders this video came just at the right time - feeling motivated to get back into the regimen

Crystal Grose: Hi Nappy Fu! Loved your video! I am 4C. I have a question about shampoo. For this type of hair, are there shampoos that you should definitely use and definitely NOT use? Thanks

CerulianOrchid: Thank you for this. This is the current state of my hair. I've so frustrated with it, no matter what I do to it, I cannot keep it from looking like decrepit moose knuckles by days end. I'm going to give your method a try. Thanks again.

Victoria: Loll I’m gonna use that when I go into protective style mode. “I need to respect the elders.”

Jemimah Annet: Everytime I do a high puff, the elders complain. I need to go back to protective styling.

Elove Xx: thank you for actually being 4c and helping us out

LaTanya Mikell: It's been four weeks for me and I would definitely love to know more about what is the best things to put in your 4b natural hair to keep moisture to hairstyles????

Mia Bella Li: I'm 4a with high porosity hair and I used to have crazy dry hair after day two of moisturizing. Some times, I would give up and be like who cares for a month and have a head full matted hair. I had to start my journey all over again, I started using tgin deep conditioner, As I Am leave in, sta so fro spray and sealing it in with a the As I Am double butter cream. My hair is so soft and moisturized!! Even with spraying rice water in one/two times a week. I spritz my end every few days with sta so fro.

Tilly J: Nappy Fu! Sista! I have to revamp often. I use the entire line of Strands of Faith. When I tell you my hair stays moisturized and hydrated for a week and a half! Hallelu! I have never had so many compliments on my hair. My hair is manageble, soft, and flowy. Clay is one of the main ingredients in this line.

InspiredbyVu: I have been experiencing lots of dry dry 4c hair lately! Granted, I have been leaving the elders out in a high puff, but braids and buns just give me a headache! I'm thinking of just big chopping again

Cynthia: Life is so busy literally threw my hair in twists for a week and some then took them down and my hair ended up like yours I just washed it yesterday and what a difference

Kofi Gillis: Omg I always try to wash my hair every Sunday but midterms were coming up and before I knew it I missed four wash days Mann when I noticed, I grabbed that Shea Butter so quick-

Simply Me: I love how you always keep it real

indria drayton: Tuesday last week. Had to pre poo, then worked it out by Wednesday evening in combing, then washed, conditioned, then ran late for the bus with wet, greased hair, but it looked good. Two hour comb session Friday night into a twist out yesterday into a wild church mane this morning.... you get the picture.

Doreen Akello ( Dora) : You are my favorite hair coach Nappyfu seriously I just love you. My natural hair journey started with you and now I am a coach on YouTube too

Shaya Muse: I Love your videos. Great information and your humor is everything!

Tee Sulli: Hi NappyFu. Love your channel and content. Your personality is amazing. This demo was great. I ain't go lie, I thought you had clip ins for that hairstyle. So that's how good the final result looked!! Just beautiful.

Tama Moni: I just want to learn how to love and style my natural hair! I want my hair to grow and look cute the way it grows out of my head. Not twist outs (which takes forever) or straighten and all the work...just growing it out the way it’s naturally there. My hair also shrinks like crazy. I think I have low porosity hair because it takes forever to get my hair wet

Angela: 4c hair needs heavy moisture, so, pack it on! Next, it looks dry and dull even when it is not, so, spray oil sheen, ladies and gents! NappyFu, you must have had single-strand knots from all that dryness to your ends. So, did you know that those must be cut off for your hair to grow longer?

mmm70: I haven't really let my hair dry out. I work from home, so it's easier for me to stay on top of my hair regimen.

BricKs: You know.. I noticed with my 4C, I wash with warm water. However, when I blow dry I use the COOL setting. Yes it takes a while, but huuunnnyyy! The shine, flow, manageability is . If I blow dry with heat- medium or high settings, it gets dryer than the Safari desert .

Lala O: I did the bentonite clay thing last week for the first time but my scalp was still dirty afterwards so I ended up having to shampoo as well What did I do wrong??

grey matter _: This happens to me every two weeks

Felicia Dunn: I keep my hair in a protective style. Love my cornrows for my wigs.

memeesh914: Ugh! My hair is dry every 3 days! I'm 8 months out from a big chop. I do a clay mask with fenugreek and hibiscus powder mixed with Aussie 3 min conditioner. Then seal it with ORS or a shea butter based product and then oil. That moisture lasts about 4 days and then I spray with cold water(wrong!) and try to seal that moisture in. That doesn't even last through the day. I need to start twisting, braiding or something because I just leave my hair in an afro state and just throw on a wig cap-sometimes- after all that hard work.

jolie09ful: Thanks for this video! For the pretreatment, did you put on the olive oil first before the Aloe vera?

athenearosa: Two weeks without a silk bonnet for sleep, just wrapped my hair in a doo rag during the day, no protective style, and no real hydration for a week. My elders are scolding the hell out of me! How I treat it is with some orange flower water in my spray bottle, then aloe like you do leave it in over night, pre poo in the morning with avocado oil, clay wash, then rinse with a hibiscus tea and then use some coconut milk on it then deep conditioner and then wrap it with plastic then heat and style with butter. I'm a 3c low porosity.

LaToya Mings: Last week. Winter gone mad. I did all the nappyfu revamp videos. Henna gloss too. Thanks babes

Rebecca Emmanuel: my hair is so dry rn; I'm scared if I try to remoisturize it, nothing would happen. I've been shedding a lot for the past year and surprised that I'm not yet bald. In fact, my hair was growing until 4 months ago when I started noticing real setbacks. It just feels so dry and it's like aloe juice is no longer working for me. So sad

Keysha Taylor: Hey Nappy Fu love your videos very informative and helpful I wanted to know your thoughts on Chebe powder being added to the routine do you think it’s healthy for 4c hair type I’m a little nervous to try it because I don’t want it to thin out my hair .

Miss Nolver: I'm not a subscriber, nor do I have 4C hair, but I think it's wonderful you have a channel, dedicated to achieve beautiful 4C hair. God bless you

farah: You're beautifully amazing with your techniques!

Aneetra France: It’s only been a week and my scalp has crazy bad dandruff and it’s dry ): idk what I did wrong. This video helped out a lot though, my mom recently bought some aloe vera leaves so ima try that out

Regina Moody: It's been almost three weeks RIGHT NOW! I've done nothing about it yet! But I definitely need to do something reallll soon!

Tiffany Wilcott-Christaw: Having issues with serious breakage in the middle/crown areaI have got to find a way to shake it back!!

IamNina R: I did a wash n go and i haven't washed my hair in 2 weeks. But I've been spraying with water and oil. When I washed it, clumps of hair came out. I even detangled it before hand

Tammy Kelly: Well my hair was very dry after a weekend. Much like 3 days. The 4th day I moisturized it with fresh aloe Vera and my store bought moisturizer. I let it sit over night. the 5th day I put my DIY oils on my hair strand put a bag over my head the next day she was back to herself. ✌☺

SunFlower State of Mind: 4c hair is gorgeous. It just takes some time and a little TLC. Your hair is so healthy and fluffy.

Flores Amor: Today is wash day and my 4c hair is feeling dry. Perfect timing

Natacha SC: Honestly, I have this happen to my hair this yearBUT I have 2 daughters and both of their hair look like this RIGHT NOW... they have been avoiding wash day for 2 weeks and I have been letting them because... I don’t know.. maybe I’m tired too... sometimes I don’t want the fight.. but I’ll let them watch this video and see if they get inspired..

Maisha Ellison-safford: hey Nappyfu..my last time was last month I left my hair free for 2 weeks...I know (=....i usually go to the steam room after workout especially if she will not part.......thanks for the video...seeing someone else that knows better and admitt it helps me....love your videos
