How To Care For Short Natural 4C Hair (Twa)

Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to be talking to you all about my hair. This is actually a very long overdue video. Okay, i recorded this video several times and the video just did not come out right. Oh hi, this time i'm going to just go full throttle and just go with what i have so um. First of all, i cut my hair in july, so this is hair growth from i've been upkeeping it i got braids and basically i had actually cut my hair a long time ago, maybe in 2012, but i'd cut it, maybe short, not as short as this. This is the first time i've ever cut my hair. As short as i went, and i went like maybe less than an inch, and i was just i, it was a spur of the moment thing i was like. I want to cut my hair. I want to be bold. I want to be daring. I want to just shave everything off and that's exactly what i did so. That being said, i honestly immediately regret it because i was just like what i cut all my long hair off, but then, after a while i just kind of was like, i beg it's, just hey it's going to grow before you know it's even gon na grow, Healthier because that was that's what i want to focus on now. I actually dyed it in the beginning. I have several dye videos on my channel. I actually i've seen that a couple of people have been asking me about dyeing and like what hair color i used. I have several um hair dye videos on my channel. I mostly use the same color, and i was this close to dyeing it again, even after dining black, because now i had to dye it black because, as it was growing, i didn't like the way it was growing and it was growing like in this blackish brown And i didn't like the two colors, so i was just like i'm gon na just dye black. I actually still have a patch of blonde hair somewhere in my head, something right here, because i was dying and that's i just i was dying and doing all those things i decided. Okay, you know what okay, your hair, you have to start taking care of it. What are you gon na do so? What i started doing was i started a routine so now. What i do is every time i take a shower. I condition my hair shampoo it once a week and the only reason why i shampoo my hair is to get out the dirt. That is, that might have accumulated over the course of that week, but most of the time conditioner just makes your hair softer. I used to do this when i even went first went natural, i always condition co wash my hair, especially if you have 4c hair. You want your hair to be soft. You want your hair to be soft when you want your hair to be nice and a lot of times, you're going to have to use conditioner to wash your hair just so that it is soft and nice, and that is exactly what i do now, because it's Short, i don't have to do so much to it, but i will let you guys know what i do to it, even though it's short, so basically we need a couple of items. I have a spray bottle um and i use a spray bottle, even sometimes during the day i spray, my hair. If i see my hair is dry, but what i do is basically i do my hair after the shower or i do my hair after i'm done with my makeup by the time i'm done with my makeup. Most of the time my hair is dry. So that's when i use my spray bottle, so i use my spray bottle and i just spray it all. Over my hair, i use the maui moisture, coconut oil, curl smoothie, and i also use the coconut maui moisture nourish and shine coconut milk weightless oil mist. Now i i use i've been using these two products to do my hair because they make my hair really soft and really well moisturized. This is not sponsored. I just really love these products that i've been using. You can tell already the oil mist has kind of gone down a little bit. Please need a wide tooth foam. I use a wide tooth comb to comb my hair home, it's going to comb your hair without it breaking your hair off, and i'm just going to reiterate this, even though you have short hair make sure you have some type of moisture on your hair before you're Combing it because if you don't it's going to be hard to comb, and you don't want your hair to be hard to comb, so after i'm done with that, this is this is my. This is my new secret. I have started using this curl sponge and honestly uh. I i've actually seen a couple of these, but i never knew that it would work for my hair, so it was not until i cut my hair and then i started using it that i started realizing that it works for my hair. So what this does? Is you basically just rub it all over your hair, just in circular motions, i'm doing it very lightly because i've already done it, so i don't want to undo the curls, but i do it very rigorously very rigorously continuously and you just do it all over your Head for, like at least 10 to 15 minutes, or until you see some type of curl pattern, i do this every morning honestly, and sometimes i don't do it at all. Sometimes i even skip wash day. Sometimes i don't wash my hair and when i don't wash my hair, the curl pattern is still there and i go over it with this. So the more you, the more you uh, do it the curlier. It will get. I'Ve noticed that when i do it damp, it looks better than when i do it dry, but sometimes when i do it dry, it really pops and it really comes out. So that's really what my hair routine looks like that's what i do with my hair. I use my little curl sponge and i use my curl smoothie and the oil, and that's really all i keep it very short and simple. In fact, you don't even have to do all these things that i'm saying, because really you could just let your hair be and like let your hair be in its twa states, but i like to be extra, so i do a little bit extra to my hair.
