How To Style Your Hair After You Take A Shower : Hair Care & Styling Tips

Hi, my name is Claire Coleman. I'M a hair stylist, I'm going to show you how to style your hair after you get out of the shower. So when you go to shower your hair is pretty wet, so you just want to make sure that you're taking your towel and you're just kind of wrapping it around and just squeezing out any of the extra water, then we're going to take a beach spray. This is going to help to give it a little bit of a PC look and a little bit of hold for when we do our next style, so you're just gon na spray, all of the hair, even pull it up and spray in sections and then just Brush through now brushing your hair when it's wet, you have to make sure that you're being really careful and you want to start from the ends and then work your way up the hair. It makes it really easy to stretch the hair cuticle out and then you might have damage in your hair if you're, starting from the top then pulling down your hair cuticle is a lot softer when it's wet. So you just want to make sure that you're, very careful after we put our Beach spray in, I like to just pull the hair away from my face and then just gather into a low ponytail, and then I'm just going to do a three strand braid. So just separate out our sections here into three sections and you're, going to take your front section fold it over the middle and you're going to take your back section here and fold it over the piece that you just crossed and you're just going to continue down Until you reach the end of your hair and using the beach spray is going to help, you get a little bit extra hole without having to use any product. That'S too sticky, or that won't really look good. When you put it on wet, some products can look a little flaky or just a little bit too messy, or it might just hold your wet look, and you don't really want that. This is just gon na give a little bit extra texture to your hair. So you're just gon na go. I don't like to go all the way to the bottom, because sometimes our hair tie holders can kind of crunch a little bit. So I like to leave a little bit of the ends out and just loosely wrap. A hair tie around again: you don't want it too tight, because you don't want it to look crimped at the end and just make sure all of your hair is in. If you have like a couple pieces hanging out, you can even take a bobby pin and just stick it in just to hold that place. Once you take your hair out, it's going to be nice and wavy, or you can just leave it in this style and let it dry this way and have a cute little braid. That'S our style.
