Hi, I'm Michele Dietrich connecting with you from pretty sniff studio in New York City today. Our beauty topic is how to style a puff ponytail. So then the nature of a puff ponytail is a puff, is kind of naturally curly hair. So using the right product is key. I like to use a spray gel. It allows a little bit of definition and stay to the curl that you do have in your hair for your puff ponytail, but also doesn't make it crunchy or hard or flaky later. So it's kind of a nice in-between from a gel and like a spray detangler, if you will, you can also make your own at home with a gel and a spray detangler. The Johnson and Johnson, just hangar for babies is great. I love the smell of it. You can mix it with your regular, hard gel and create your own nonetheless. So if you're doing this on yourself, I suggest you kind of run your fingers through open up your hair and from about 12 inches, start working it into your hair. You can kind of be random. With the placement get started, the bottom you can start at the top again start right in the middle. The idea is just to kind of like saturate your hair, but not over saturate, because we still want to style it. So we have limited time to kind of keep the workability of her hair, so you can see over here. I started to apply the product and over here I have not so we're giving it a little bit more definition, amping up her natural curl for her poof ponytail, but also giving a little bit of staying power and direction to her hair. Her lovely mouth, her beautiful. Okay, so now I'm just using my fingers to pull the hair back into a high fish ponytail wrapping the hair band around and now I'm going to use her own hair pony's own hair from the bottom trap around itself. So we're gon na give it a little extra special polish finish. So it's a little I Dream of Jeannie cutie-patootie, take a bobby pin fastened and about, I would say, an inch and a half or two inches in so you can see the end here and push it up and then push it down. So it stays. If you put, if you just push it up, then gravity will start pulling the pin down and with such thick hairs to our knees. You definitely need that staying power, which is part of the reason why we're using product as well, because technically a natural puff ponytail would be super natural. But if you have a little bit of natural curl or a lot of natural curl, you need a product. So there you have a natural puff ponytail and I hope you find this helpful.
