It'S sort of really long time since I've updated you all with a video on my favorite stylers for fine curly hair and I think the last time I did this. I just started my channel, so it's been like four and a half years. Now that's a long time and I've definitely tried a lot of products since then. So today I'm going to share some of my tried-and-true favorites Tyler's for fine curly hair along with some newbies, because there's been some new snippets come out and if you'd like to see them just keep watching hey girlfriends welcome back to my channel. I'M Rochelle - and this is disco curls TV - if you're new here - welcome my channel - provides tips on how to care for your fine, curly hair, so make sure you feel empowered and supported to be the best version of yourself I post weekly and would love to have You subscribe and enjoy my community here, because I do curly, hair tutorials, product reviews, pregnancy and postpartum, videos, DIYs and much more, so I'm going to go in order of how I would apply these products. So, let's start with my current favorite leave-in detangler, and this is by not sure mothers naturals. It'S the Tahitian gardenia flower and mango butter, curl defining detangler. This is a super, affordable, balm leave in and eat angwa for your curly hair. It'S really hydrating and adds shine. It has major slip and it detangles your curls so easily, it's free of sulfates, silicones, parabens, phthalates, gluten or dyes, and this is something I purchased over and over again and it's becoming one of my favorite, affordable brands. I really like spraying this in my curls after I've washed my hair and also as a second, a refresher for any frizz. Next on the list is the HASC biotin boost thickening cream. This is one of my holy grail products since they discontinued my previous favorite, which was the Sammy fat, hair, thickening cream, and my whole problem with the Sammy fat hair was that it contained parabens, and this one does not plus it's super affordable. This is made with biotin, collagen and coffee and the cream is lightweight and what I really love about it is that it clumps my curls together to give me visible volume. So I like to apply this after my leave-in detangler and my styler. Sometimes I'll mix it with a styling cream, but you always have to experiment when you mix something because some of these products don't mix well together, but they layer on top of each other. Really. Well, now, I'm moving on to my styling creams. This is the main choice: heavenly halo softening milk. This is a newer product that I've been using and I absolutely love it because it's hard to find a styling cream that doesn't weigh down my fine curls, and this is perfection plus. I really love all of the ingredients. It contains a lot of oils, which surprisingly, don't weigh down my hair and soy milk. It really softens my hair, it's slippery, so it can be used as you're leaving as well as your moisturizer. It soothes the dry scalp. It promotes hair growth and strengthens and nourishes your hair, so this can go in after your leave-in or be both you're, leavin and styling cream in one and the way I like to use this is to add it with a gel on top just for a little Bit more hold my other favorite styling cream is the diva curl styling cream, the og. My hair always looks great when I use this with or without a gel. I actually like this better than the super cream that they make, because I find it to be just a little bit too heavy on my roots. And this one is for those of you that, like soft and touchable definition, and if you want to add moisture - and you don't want crunchy curls and you want to control frizz and have a product that is sulfate, paraben and silicone free, then you'll love this product. I still like to add a leave-in before I use this and, depending on the look I'm going for, I will use us with or without a gel next on. My list is also by not your mother's and it's the curl talk curl activating mousse. I love me. Some mousse and a lot of you are sleeping on it, especially if your curls are fine and you have low density hair. This should be your jam. This gives you day two and three hair on day, one which is the biggest take away. It gives you volume, which is what a lot of us with fine curls are trying to get. The hold is really lightweight, it offers humidity protection controls frizz and it is paraben silicon die and alcohol-free. I typically just use a lightweight leave-in and follow up with the mousse and sit I never like to add gels or creams, because it kind of defeats the purpose for me, although you can totally add a little styling cream on your ends for added moisture. Alright. So let's talk about gels, I have two that are my favorites and the first is the diva curl light defining gel. I also love the ultra defining gel as well, but the lighter version is just a good gel for overall definition and hold. So this is a softer hold with no crunch, but I love how shiny and define my curls look when I use it, they look really frizz free and the formula itself is not sticky at all. The other gel is by Brio Gio and it's the curl charisma, rice amino and quinoa frizz control gel this one is also kind of a light to medium hold, but for some reason it feels a little bit stronger than the diva curl one to me. This is also not sticky, and it leaves my curls feeling lightweight its color, safe and safe on chemically treated hair. Brio Gio is also one of those brands that doesn't contain sulfates, silicones or parabens. When I use gels in general, I tend to either add it. On top of a cream or after a leave-in, and when I use them with a cream, the hair is slightly more way down, but during the winter months I just need that extra moisture. So that's how I do it. So here is something many of my girlfriends. Don'T think they need and for fair reason, of course, it's a dry shampoo now. Why would you need this if your curls and scalp are already dry well, most dry, shampoos are sprays or powders and they leave the hair really dry or sticky, or leave that residue on it. But this one from inner sense is very innovative because it's a foam which is already going to work better in curly hair. It contains witch hazel and rice starch to absorb oil and organic honey to add shine and body. This is super helpful for those mornings. After you do a scalp massage with oils now, if you don't have fine curly hair, then you may not feel like you need this, but if you are sick and tired of having flat roots because of your nightly scalp massages, then this is the product for you. This is also great when you are trying out new products that end up being a little too heavy for my edges. Occasionally I like to use the cream of nature perfect edges in black. This is basically an edge control with temporary color that washes out, but it's great for filling in thinning edges, as well as any grades that might pop up. It reminds me so much of an older product that I used to use by an Pro, which is a protein styling gel that had a dark black color, except this one isn't as stiff. It does a really good job of laying my hairline down, but there is one thing I don't love about it, and that is that it contains parabens. Oh, I know so disappointing. That'S why I only use it on rare occasions. I typically only use an edge control when I'm doing any kind of slicked back hair styles, but it's not that often. So, that's why I guess I justify using it, but if you guys have any suggestions on paraben on a paraben free dupe of this, please let me know down below in the comments. Lastly, is my favorite oil, and that is the inner sense harmonic healing oil. I also just like plain jojoba, but I love this one as well: it's great for the hair, skin and nails, and it's a blend of so many of my favorite oils like safflower evening, primrose macadamia seed, tamaño, hazel seed, orange flower, jojoba, seed and rosemary. I like to use this as a scalp treatment before I shampoo my hair and also on my dry ends. It'S really lightweight, so I don't feel like it's ever coated in my hair and it smells really delicious and that completes my list of my favorites Tyler's refined, curly hair. I'D love to hear from all of you, but your favorites Tyler's down below in the comments. DiscoCurls: Hey Curlfriends! Share your favorite styling products for fine curly hair down below in the comments!

Leslie Rosario: Seriously so thankful for you. My hair looks amazing after using some of these products. The thickening cream my husband loved my curly hair and he’s a straight hair kinda guy. I think he just switched over. Thanks again!!!! Appreciate your channel!

Sabrina G: I love the Kinky Curly Knot Today and the Kinky Curly Curling Custard! Also the Not Your Mother’s Tahitian Gardenia Flower and Mango Butter Combing Cream is great.

Katherine Tejada: The DevaCurl Light Defining Gel looked great on my curls, but when I would wash my hair, it made me lose a lot more.

PR 912: Hi, new subscriber! Great video by the way. I will be binging on your videos all week. I love the idea of using a dry shampoo for the day after doing the scalp massage. Thanks for the tip !

Peyton: i love the curl smith styling soufflé! holds my hair the best of what i’ve tried so far

Seeker Of Truth: This is the best video I’ve come across in years for fine type 3 hair styling products that don’t weigh down hair . Thank you.

Naz-Nazneen: Hey Rochelle, I just bought the original Denman brush. It arrives Friday. Your 1st product is 1 of my favs. And I told you TXTR Cantu Defining Cream - have you tried it yet? I still love Miss Jessie’s Multi Cultural Curls. For the last 4-5 months, I have only been applying an oil then styling cream & scrunch. I’m more happier with “lighter/softer” curls.

Leslie Dalencour: Im about to get pregnant to get thick hair like yours lol. J/k. Thank you for the tips on products and how to use them. It’s so hard having thin, fine hair. Can you do a video on how you use your diffuser to make your hair bigger... my hair gets perfect on day 5-6 and then I have to wash I’ll give some of these products a chance. Your hair is amazing

Tammy Gul: Hi I'm having a hard time finding the thickening cream you mentioned but they do have a 5 in 1 spray in the same product line. Do you think that would work as well or is there by chance another thickening cream you would suggest? Thank You!!

K Djannie: I have tried to multiple Deva curl products, but for some reason my hair isn't loving it. Currently, for a gel, I really love Quidad's Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel (stronger hold). It works as a great sealant over a styling cream, and gives me soft, lightweight, bouncy and defined curls that last days.

maicad531: You should try Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic. I use just a little and it gives me great definition and hold. I use it on top of my Devacurl styling cream of by itself.

OnMyEntrepreneur Sh!t: Have you ever used the My Aunt Jackie's Don"t Shrink Flaxseed Gel?

Sweet J: Your hair is growing so beautiful

mandyinseattle: If you had to use only one, do you like Briogeo's Curl Charisma styling cream or the gel mentioned here better? Thanks!
