Hair Care 101 : How To Style Layered Hairstyles

Hi, my name is taiko, I'm a celebrity hair, makeup and fashion stylist today we're at the fabulous Basu salon and spa here in New York City and I'm going to show you how to style a layered hairstyle in styling Nicole's, layered hairstyle, we're gon na start with A little bit of surf spray and prep to make the hair about 50 % wet. Now that we have the hair about 50 % wet we're just gon na work through the product, we're gon na start in diffusing and crunching our hair with Nicole upside down in diffusing Nicole's hair. We want to make sure we have the dryer setting on cool as you're diffusing the hair in a layered hair style. You want to make sure that you're crunching and pushing the hair up at the same time as you're laying the diffuser into the hair. Okay. So now we're going to begin our finger styling and the the rest of the styling of this hairstyle and we're going to complete the hairstyle with a bit of hairspray and finger styling as you're doing this you're kind of lifting into the layers just to make for A really soft beachy look, so we're going to pick the layers up and just kind of press them into the hair, and this is how you style: a layered hair cell
