What'S up y'all welcome back to my channel? Thank you so much for tuning in and welcome to all of my new subscribers into my old cheese. I love you so much anyway in today's video, I'm gon na do a very easy super protective style on journeys hair. I'Ve already shampooed conditioned and put in a detangler, so I'm gon na do something a little different than what I normally do. I'M actually gon na stretch her hair out a bit with a blow-dryer. The reason I'm doing that is because, honestly, I'm just tired of fighting the knots and tangles it's making both of us miserable, so I'm gon na go ahead and kind of do a mini blowout on her hair. I'M not trying to get her hair straight. I'M just stretching our curls, so I'm gon na use the blow dryer on low heat, just to kind of stretch out her curls, and this is gon na help. One maintain the style longer and also prevent breakage, because you know when you're trying to comb through tangles and knots, you're really ripping a lot of the hair out. So I'm trying to prevent that into. I don't like to see her crying she's very tender hate it. So this is my first time trying to start on her and it actually worked pretty nicely because this style has a lot of parting. She did not cry the whole style. She, you know, got a little tired of sitting here, but for the most part it was pretty Pleasant. So, if you're having an issue with knots and things like that, try to kind of stretch the hair out - you don't have to use heat, you can stretch it out by just putting it in ponytails overnight or something but yeah. I did it this way and also use a dryer that has combs that's gon na help you out a whole lot. This was on the dryer. I had so I'll use that one and didn't feel like waiting on my other one to come in so yeah. You use a blow dryer combs the blow dryer, I'm using it's just some rinky-dink Connie or dryer. I think I got from Walmart for like 20 dollars or something maybe why here I'm showing you the difference on the left side. That'S just her natural curly, curly, hair and in on the right side. I'M blonde this side out just a bit just that you long gate the curls by the way, I'm using the tension method when I'm blow-drying. So I started out just kind of tugging on the hair and blowing it out that way and then I'll take the comb and use the chase method, but it's still kind of the tension method. But anyway, that's the method I'm using since I don't have a comb and I'm also going to use the blue magic originals super sure grow on her scalp and hair to seal in all the moisture from the conditioner from earlier so yeah. This style is really easy. All I'm doing is basically doing making like box braids, but instead of braids I'm doing twist, so I'm just parting out a row and then making little individual twist. Y'All is so so easy. If you want the style to look a little more neat or polished, you can start out with a braid and then twist now the ones in the back. I just went right in with a twist because you're, not even gon na, be able to see this row. So you know if you're not the best at parting, this guy, you can still do this style. It'Ll still be cute. I promise you I'm also going to be putting some beads on the ends of her twist. I'M only doing four beads because I didn't want it to be too heavy on her hair or make it uncomfortable for her to sleep in so I felt for was enough. Also, her hair I'm doing her here in sections, so I have like eight sections I think total. I just split it right down the middle and put four sections on each side, and so I'm blowing out twisting beading and then starting the next session section blow out twist and be until I've done the whole head. So that's my process. Do whatever process works for you, but that's what I did. This is what it looks like from the back. I know it looks dry, but her hair is actually very moisturized. I don't know why it looks strong on camera, but it's very moisturize and I like these twists cuz, you can style the twist. So if you wanted to put this back part in a ponytail, it would be cute. You could split it into two ponytails. You can do so much with this style. You could do it up do if you wanted to just. However, you didn't even have to put beads on the bottom. You could have number Ritz or you could have just let them hang loose. So this style is very versatile, so here I am showing you how I'm doing the middle ones, the middle twist, I'm starting out with the braid just to kind of make it look a little bit neat in to maintain the style a little longer. So I'm starting out with a braid and then I'm gon na go into a twist. So it's a very, very, very short braid, like it's really short and then go right into a two strand twist. So I've started on the front: here's how it's looking it is! So cute for the front you do it the same way. I just started started my rows, going up up the head from the side, so that's how I'm doing a top part and I'm gon na complete the other side and I'll show you guys how it looks. So. Here'S the finished look, and it is so so cute and it was so easy and in case you were wondering it took me with the blow drying and everything it took me about two and a half hours. But if you skip the blow drying, you could probably get this done in about an hour, maybe an hour and a half, and it doesn't take long to do it all. Most of the time I spent was getting her hair dry, so I'm gon na how I'm gon na style these I'm gon na pull up a tie like a side ponytail - and I left some of those shorter twists. That'S near her ear. I left those out so that I didn't pull it too tight. So I'm just gon na put this in a ponytail and I'm gon na finesse, her edges, and that is it guys. That is the whole style. I think it is so so cute on her as soon as hard she got so many compliments. We went to church the next day and everyone was asking me who did her twist and I'm like are y'all serious. This was so easy. I did this. What are you talking about? It'S so easy. So anyway, I'm gon na use some eco styler gel on her edges and y'all. Her hair does not take well to jail at all. If you have a 4 4c child, I think I would probably use an edge control, because this gel lasted all of about 5 minutes and it was gone so just FYI. You might want to use the edge control if you want really defined edges, but it was cute to me it's cute without you know all the baby, hair and stuff, but anyway, thank you so much for watching. If you like this video, please give me a thumbs up and please subscribe and until next time be blessed.
