XXX

So this might be my first ever video, which is applicable to all sorts of hair, male female long short, thick or fine. Every hair tip that we'll be covering in today's video will apply to you we're going to briefly discuss what causes frizzy, hair, some quick tips and tricks on how to deal with frizziness and finally, we're going to explore one or two long-term solutions which revolve around your Lifestyle, as always before we get into it, if you enjoy or find this video helpful, a thumbs up is greatly appreciated. It lets me know you guys like seeing these types of videos subscribe. If you haven't already we're honing in on 200 000, subscribers and it'd be cool to have you guys there? What causes frizzy hair, breaking it down into a very simple sentence? Frizziness can only occur in hair that is dry and so there's your answer. Whenever your hair is lacking, moisture, frizziness occurs, and so with that crucial fact established. Some of your most common causes include humidity, particularly in the summer months, over washing your hair. If you shampoo, too often you're likely to be experiencing dry and frizzy hair, we'll get into exactly what too often looks like a little later on in this video harsh products, this is where it counts. To get familiar with the ingredients list, parabens, sulfates and alcohol. Are your main culprits here, heat tools as you apply external heat, you're, promoting dryness. We'Ve covered the most common causes of frizzy hair. But what should you do when you inevitably need to wash style or blow dry when it comes to washing your hair? I highly advise you steer clear of mass manufactured drugstore brands, they're, not all bad. I think one of the benefits of drugstore brands is the fact that they're widely accessible, you can simply walk into a local drugstore and pick a bunch up on offer. However, the main issue with these is that they typically contain paraben sulfates and alcohol, which inevitably dries out your hair. Every time you wash personally since switching to shampoo bars several years ago, i haven't really looked back. However, i understand that not many of you would have ever even tried - one - maybe not even heard of one, and so, if you'd like me, to make a video all about shampoo bars and how you can get started be sure to drop a thumbs up on this Video, if it gets two and a half thousand likes i'll, be sure to post that as soon as possible, so starting with clean tower dried hair. Once you've come out of the shower, we're going to be applying a hair oil, i'm using blue mons cloud control, who have kindly sponsored today's video. If you've watched my videos over the past few years, you'll know i've used this hair oil ever since its launch. Investing into a decent hair row is something i would always recommend, as it will stay with you throughout your entire hair journey, regardless of whether you have short or long hair, thick or fine hair, a hair oil will always be able to provide some benefit, which is Why i think it's always worth investing? It has a blend of 12 oils which all target dry hair start by applying no more than two to five drops. It'S always better to start small and then apply more as required, comb that through to ensure even distribution. I then follow this up with a hair cream, which again is another product which will stay with you throughout your entire hair journey. I'M using ascend volume cream here, which is another styling product by bluemon. It has a really nice and flexible hold, which easily makes it one of the best pre-stylers i've ever used as it can be applied into long short, thick or fine hair again for a beneficial result, and before we get into the blow drying process, i would usually Recommend applying a heat protectant, however blue one's head cream already has heat protectant built in so we're knocking out two steps in one patience goes a really long way when it comes to blow drying, use a medium heat and then fluctuate between the medium and fast speed. Setting on your blow dryer once your hair is about 60 to 70 dry you're going to want to assess whether your hair is likely to get frizzy by the time, you're entirely done with the blow drying. This will come with experience, but i invite you to ask yourself: could my hair do with a little more hair oil? Could my hair do with a little more hair, cream and so on, and that summarizes the quick fix segment of this video i'll, be sure to link all of the products that i used as well as my suggestions down in the description and again a massive thank You to blumon for sponsoring today's video i've mentioned it in so many other videos and i'm sure i'll mention it again, but you need to stop washing your head too often, to put it in very simple terms, when you shampoo, you're, stripping your hair of all of Its oil in response to this, your scalp senses, the dryness caused by the shampoo and over, produces sebum to compensate for the lack of oil. You then create a cycle of dependency, which is fantastic for all of the hair care brands out there. By feeling, like you need to shampoo every single day to fight the constant buildup of oil, the optimal number of times in which you should wash your hair will differ from person to person. But ultimately, i think it comes down to figuring that out for yourself, if you're watching this video and you shampoo, every single day, try switching to maybe five times per week and then working your way down. Try going to every other day until you ultimately get to that two to three times per week. We'Ve discussed this point throughout the video, but switching out those harsh hair products will arguably have the biggest difference in your hair's health down the line. Some immediate changes would be switching out your drugstore shampoo for a shampoo bar or switching out your styling products for paraben free alternatives such as the blue month, products, which i used earlier in this video. Another long-term fix is assessing your diet, a diet with an abundance of fruit veg and protein is going to be your best bet. I'M going to refer you to one of my older videos, in which i explore my diet for optimal hair growth and, last but not least, integrating a haircare practice, at least once per week. For example, this could be applying a hair royal mask once per week. You could argue this is a short-term fix, but by committing to the practice at least once per week, you're going to see a greater difference in your hair's health long term. Another example might be going for a maintenance haircut every four to six weeks to trim the dry ends of your hair, which, as you can tell by my bun, i haven't done myself in a while. So we all we all have areas to work on, but that is all for this week's video. I hope you guys enjoyed if you did a thumbs up, is greatly appreciated, feel free to subscribe. If you haven't already it's free to do, and you can always change your mind later, all of the products i've used will be linked in the description, along with any discounts that i have. But until then i'll see you all in the next one take care guys bye, bye,

Jebac PiS: I've been growing my hair out for a little more than 2 years now. My goal was to be able to tie it up into a man bun and now I am able to! There have been a few stages during my journey where I considered cutting my hair but I always found myself watching your videos to give me some inspiration so thank you!

Ryan D: 1. If you have any wavy or curly texture to your hair, avoid the towel (old t-shirt instead!) and limit brushing to only when it's entirely wet 2. Do Not use hair oil as anything but the LAST step. First you should opt for a leave in conditioner and THEN if you feel like your hair isnt locking in the moisture like you want it to, you can add in some hair oil- a little at a time. 3. Avoid the hair dryer!!! Heat damage is so prevalent in many people's hair and it's hard to fix. Not to mention curly wavy textures are way more prone to that kind of drying and breakage. Look out for the long term health of your hair and BALANCE that with short term styling techniques. Blow drying is okay when you're short on time & use a heat protectant but please, not everyday! P.s. everyone's hair is different and how you treat it is so very personal to you. only you can decide what to do with it but these are just some suggestions!

jay hamilton: This channel is a huge inspiration for helping me to continue my hair growth journey. 9 months in and luca is helping me to get through this awkward stage that I currently find myself in.

Ashley Vasudevan: Wow your hair is so long now. I remember the journey of you growing your hair out. I’m currently growing mine out and it gives me motivation to carry on after watching your videos

Juan Pak: As someone who lives in a really humid city, this video is a great helping hand! Thanks Luca

Priyansh: I am growing out my hair from the last 7 months ..and i got a hait cut once during this time (only the ends) !! Everytime i want some motivation i just watch your videos and it helps a lottt! Ps-i really want to grow my hair faster ,so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you luca

Margaret Neilson: I love your videos relating to hair Luca, I’ve now hit 12 months since starting to grow my hair and I’ve found your tips very helpful. My hair has now reached the shoulders and I’m loving it. My next Salon trip will be in June to get a colour/ foils and the ends trimmed to get that dry hair off. Keep up the good work ❤️

Hassan CR: My hair was a little extra frizzy today lol perfect timing

Sky Lee: Just got my first shampoo bar !! Can’t wait to try it out, been growing my hair after buzzing it for about a year and four months !! Thinking about cutting it down again but haven’t decided yet on a cut that fits me..

STYLEDBYNATE: Loved this Luca - Exactly what I needed !

Liam Brown: I’ve been growing my hair out for 2 years now and it was great to witness your hair growth series along the journey. You’ve inspired me to break through the many awkward stages and now I can tie it in a top man bun with ease!

Liam.G23: Literally just thinking that I need to do something to help my frizzy hair. Started growing it out around the time you did. Thankful to have your videos man!

• starei: I have thick and very curly hair thats also very long, meaning that i get a lot of knots and it becomes really hard to brush out and to manage with. Honestly, ive always felt the need as a kid to grow out my hair so it could be the longest but im planning to cut it, but not entirely short such as being above my shoulder length, maybe a just-below medium length since i am very attached to my hair, as ive mentioned i wanted to grow it out as a kid meaning, that ive had it for many years now, after watching this video i am surely planning to cut my hair as this has made me realise how much i dont need to have long hair, and as a muslim it is better to have long hair as on the day of judgement (the day where the God (Allah) questions you for all the wrong that you have done to see whether you will go to Jannah or Jahannam (heaven or hell)) everybody will not be wearing clothes and rely on the hair to protect them (but in the afterlife you will be wearing clothes), my parents encourage me and my sister to have long hair for the better, but i really do hope my mother allows me to cut it,

lukas: i’m so glad i grew my hair out because it led me to this channel

Sidharth Kapoor: This was much needed at the moment , thanks mate ! Love your content as always ❤️

Mohamed Al-Maghawry: Man you inspire me alot ! thank you and keep on making this great content

Uzumaki Naruto: The middle section of my hair is long enough for a bun. Now I’m growing out my side hair and it’s almost long enough for the full man bun. Just a little section of my side hair still sticks out.

Joe Foggan: This is deffo the video I need at the point in my hair growth journey.

Matthew Demetrio: frizzy hair usually has a wave/curl so maybe u should try enhancing your wave/curls. Try applying a leave in conditioner on wet hair and scrunching it (you hair should be wet enough that u hear a squishy noise with the water when scrunching) and then let air dry. also look up vids on wavy hair to help you out :)

Commander Cat: I would like to figure out how many days I should go without washing my hair but I'm super afraid of getting into the dandruff region and having to fix that. Btw your hair looks BEAUTIFUL at 3:30

hadi raza: It's my 3 months of growing my hair, you motivates me. Thumbs up

Eagle: Hair is one of the most important body parts. We care our hair because we think of them as something special and something we're proud of. Thanks for sharing this video. Despite your age, you know a lot. Keep going on young man. God bless.

Han Rui: hey luca, can you record a tutorial of how you tie your hair buns? especially if you have different styles. thanks and keep up the good work!

Ryland: Hey Luca for somebody that wears a man bun, I'm just curious if you could make a video about the harms of this? I heard that you could cause you hairline to recede ect. I would really appreciate hearing your insight into this, since you also rock the man bun daily.

CunningApple 888: so i’ve been growing my hair out for roughly a year and it’s a disconnected undercut so it’s long only on top, and cut pretty short on the sides and back. my hair is currently just above my shoulders and a few months ago there was some new growth growing on my hairline, it’s currently to my eyes and the rest is barely above my shoulders, watching your videos actually helped me a lot

leela b: Which shampoo bar would you recommend for dry frizzy wavy hair in the UK?

Mx: Does air drying your hair instead of blow drying or towel further prevent frizziness?

Shawn James: This dude has the best smile ever. Always makes me happy to see his smile.

Aaron Koon: i thought i had straight frizzy hair till i tried curly products (my hair is wavy) and not dry brushing the hell out of my hair and its looked way better ever since then

Boju: Question, I tend to get dry skin and that includes my scalp. Genetics. While I do try my best to stay hydrated, my problem is that I get dandruff if I don't wash my head for a couple of days. Any recommendations on this? I've been using hair oils and that has greatly improved my hair's overall health...sadly, my scalp problems persist.

Mh: Bro I love your videos man. Watching you has inspired me to make my hair grow. Love ya dud and keep up the goods♥️

Clément M: I'm 2 years in, haven't had a single haircut since then, and i didn't take enough care of my hair. I just wash and condition usually. It grows slowly (a bit under shoulder length). So it's thick, between straight and wavy and has small frizzy hair all over the head, and very static, so it tends to take much volume. Simply put, i look like a goofy blockhead... I think i'm gonna head to the barber to get some advice. I'm bored of being called a cheap Jesus LOL

Ben O’Connor: My hair can get super dry so imma get some hair oil and cream I think, I’m also not going to use shampoo/conditioner as that’s what makes my hair really dry :/ Thanks for the vid man, really insightful

M K: Been growing my hair now for about 15 years. Longest was to my bum. Currently to my waist after a couple trims and treatments. I think I may cut it to my chest when I get older. I love long hair always have. We should normalize it in men more often.

Ty Wren: Now this is the video I needed

General Grizzy: A shampoo bar video would be nice. Some good recommendations and how to apply

Subodh: It has been 7-8months I'm growing out my hair and in the awkward stage right now and problems like hair fall, frizzy hair is arising so its my request to make a video on that including the best hair products and hair care routine

Douglas: Regarding dry hair and scalp. I went to the doctors and the doctor said scalp irritation and dryness is a sign of asthma!

Daniel Codreanu: Great video you should definitely make a explanatory video of all of shampoo bars and also the products you use (shower gel, etc)

FUTURE SOUNDS: I’m curious. How many of you have grown their hair out to their desired length because of Lucas videos?

esmiperrofrosty: i got a legit question. is washing my hair with just water as bad as washing it with shampoo? because yes i used to shampoo everyday and then literally because of watching your videos i stopped, but i dont know if the term "not washing your hair" means to just not shampoo it or to avoid water until its shampoo day? Thanks for the videos, they are very informative and an inspiration.

Dawson Davis: I just don't use product. Wash with water. And my hair is glorious. 2 years growth. No split ends.

Fed: Hey, is it better to let your hair dry naturally or use a hairdryer?

ofte: i just hitted 1 year mark of hair growth and i can put it up in a bun but still some hairs on sides are short and i need to use pins but finally i can do it

Mohamed Khider: I was thinking few minutes ago about cutting ✂️ it off for good all because of this shit Dude you're goated Keep it up Luka ♥️♥️

Kc3vin Anthony: Great video Luca definitely needed. I had a question though regarding on a product you spoke about a while ago this being aveda thickening tonic. Do you still use aveda thickening tonic?

Molten Throne: Yes! A video on shampoo bars would be sick

Rayan Baba: Please make a video about shampoo bars I’ve been growing my hair almost as long as you and I look forward to your tips since we have similar hair and it’s been very dry lately

FATMAN_162x: I do in fact keep hearing "don't wash it everyday" but still it just seems gross cuz I sweat at work lol

steve harvey: Please do a video on oily hair. This is a serious problem for me.

rhope: have you ever tried letting it air dry? that and a good leave in conditioner combats frizz a lot and i get really good curl definition. i live in miami, fl so i know humidity and hair. your hair looks alot like mine when blow dried and when i put in leave in conditioner and let it air dry it is so much more curly and prettier. even if i put no product my curls pop so much more than if i had blow dried. (also the curl diffuser attachment for a blow dryer is amazing for curls if you like blow drying, unless your goal is for your hair to be straighter). but seriously your hair has so much potential to be curly you should do a curl video cause i wanna see what your mane looks like with curling products. also the less products it takes for your hair to look good the better, your hair becomes dependent on the products you use and it will leave your hair looking terrible on the days you decide to give your hair a break from products, so be a light as possible with products. the scalp has natural oils so try to rely on those rather relying on a packaged hair oil. your hair becoming dependent on products is a big source of frizzyness

Erock: I’m a 20 year old male with long hair pretty much exactly like him in this video. If someone could PLEASE help me and send me links to good and non harmful shampoo and conditioners I will LOVE YOU FOREVER!!

S1mthi: Yess I would love a shampoo conditioner video!!

Salim Mishaal: I been shampooing once a fortnight and wash with water once a week, and my hair doesn't get dirty or oily at all now.

Beni: Can I use DryShampoo while trying to get rid of the habbit washing my hair everyday? Literally everytime i wake up in the morning my hair is oily even tho i washed it the day before. I considered switching pillowcases to silk ones but i dont know if that would help.

Abysmal: can you apply argon oil to curly hair on a daily basis or is that bad?

Noé: Anyone knows what to use to give volume to straight thick hair? And should I use the product while my hair is wet ?

Reginaldo Estremera: Does any US based online store sell the alter/nativa coconut shampoo bar featured in the video outside of the UK? Can't get it shipped anywhere outside of that country it's just weird.

Klaus Krüger: Yes darling, what your hair looks like is the most important thing right now.

Benjamin Li: What about for those who have Dandruff? How does shampoo frequency change?

Mr D: I need to shower my hair quite a lot because my scalp gets very dry. I have to use sulf shampoo but the negative is that it makes my hair really dry and frizzy, any suggestions?

A Little Bird: Go from gnarly to Charlie with these easy steps!

Josephu Stalin •: " Every hair tip in this video will apply to you" bald people : How many other lies have I been told by the council ?

Seonagh Jedlicka: I tried shampoo bars but they really dried my hair and brushing was a nightmare. Shame though I liked them

Organic Methamphetamine: Another crucial tip: Never grow out your hair if your face doesn't look like that

Mizukami Rokuro: What if I use shampoo everyday but I also use hair conditioner everytine as well. Does that effect anything?

Making an Actor: Just stumbled across your YouTube ! Thank you. I struggle with dry scalp, I've grown my hair and have tried so many things. I use OGX argan oil shampoo and conditioner, I then blow dry my hair without product (think this is what the issue is) I only do this because I thought product was making my hair dry.

Stephen McKinney: Thanks for the video!! Been watching for helpful tips for awhile now. My problem is work in a very oily environment, so I have to take a shower in the evenings when I get home. What is your recommendations on this front. I can't really find any helpful tips.

Abraham K: Any tips for scalp acne Luca?

X Marks The O: This video is great! Gonna do this

José Serrão: Hey I just started growing out my hair it’s still on the buzzed stages will a shampoo bar with conditioner effect work? The name brand is Bambo Earth

Yago Rusch Godoy: Man this vid looks very professional keep it up, all Love

Sano: when i am growing out my hair long enough until i can tie it up behind then is it better when i put all my hair back or does it not matter

Nimble Duck: Stop washing hair too often or stop shampooing too often?

ABM-10 JAMES CARL GUARNES: any suggestion to fix wavy or curly texture to hair?

Freigeist: what about leave in conditioner with e.g. shea butter instead of oil? Mine is w/o sulfates, parabens, mineral oils, glutens..

Ranjan Kandasamy: How important is the regular haircut? I try to take care of my hair and follow most of the other tips but I usually get a haircut and only go back after (3 to 6) months.

mateo parvex-switzer: man i needed this, thank you.

A: i have silky straight hair and just as long as yours. I've tried to do Antoine greizmanns' (Barcelonas' footballer) man bun but i pretty much fail most of the time. Could you please please post of tutorial of it

Daniel Nieuwoudt: looking good bro! keep up the good work!

mlchaelz: I've been waiting for this guide for so long.

Dumplings Boi: I Dry my hair but it’s still kinda wet on my way to work and I can smell this musty odor coming from my scalp

Dani: When you do use hair cream when do you end up washing it out? Like I try wash my hair every two days, so in that scenario would you leave the hair cream for those two days then wash it out, would you add more in between etc. or do you wash it out after the day’s end? Sorry if I’m not making my question super clear

toast gh0st: Ok I’m gonna go to Lush real soon this is suppperr helpful!

kevin pineda: what are the best shampoos and conditioner for coarse straight hair? anybody help out thanks

Waleed Hamwi: Please make a video on the shampoo bar, i'd love that! :)

BLUE GOAT: Thumbs up for ULTRA MEGA SUPER HYDRATING SHAMPOO!!!!

Karim B.: i think you should talk about the secondary effects of minoxidil

Youtube Throwaway: If you don't wash and condition your hair every day, do you still use the hair cream and oil on a day that you do not wash it? If not, do you just get it wet in the shower?

Leote: My hair is constantly dry, itchy, feels like hay to be honest, and it is thick volumous and kind of curly, which just gives me a helmet-style hair. I've been thinking of making it straight so i can flatten it somehow, and start hydrating it more. Anyone out there with the same experience? It's been hard finding stuff that helps this style of hair that, by the looks of it, is very common around there. What if I want to color it? Anything else I should know about?

Penny O: Personally I'd like to see the before as what yr hair looks like air dried or when it's really frizzy. That was fake frizz so the comparison is unfair.

Leo Schlemer: I surf everyday so i usually take a shower and wash my hair everyday . should I keep on washing my hair afterwards or do something else

Freigeist: Whats the purpose of a hair cream besides heat protection?

Albert Buenaventura: i have a really thick long hair and I shampoo everyday and condition it. I work at fast food and I feel like my hair smells and oily if I don't shampoo it. Is 2 shampoo a week really the best?

Param Jani: as my hair are thick and long hair oil just hurts the roots and makes the hair heavy.

lord-adrien: Hi I am French and I have been letting my hair grow for 1 year but the problem is that it really does not grow fast of the type 1 cm per month no more so I was wondering if you would have any advice on products to use for it. do they grow faster?

Mugen: I use some homemade oil and himalayan sea salt spray for texture

Sebastian klostre: Any tips for having very thick black Latino/native hair and wants it to be way softer but stable and healthy when styling it . IDK whats going on but my argan oil conditioner doesn't help my hair get softer or les frizzy in fact my hair is less maneuverable & yeah shampoo even worse . Letting the hair air dry was also not a good idea just left my hair flat. The hairdryer in cold setting only helps a little and since I have so much hair it takes forever to blow dry it . When I try to comb air dry the hair straight it curls and wants to collapse to one side. I'm starting to doubt I have straight straight hair because if I grow out my hair it will curl a little. Don't know if my hair is dry/damaged its thick AF and there is some frizz ,wonder if anyone else has the same issue and found a way to get better results .

eLe Vitteri: Could you talk about greasy hair?

jed: Is conditioning your hair as bad as shampoo?
