Hi guys welcome back to my channel so for today's video this has probably been one of my most requested videos. I don't know why i'm picking i should put that down. It'S probably been one of my most requested videos and it's all about my hair. Now i get dms on instagram which, by the way, if you don't already follow me on instagram, make sure you guys go follow me over on there, i'm literally always active on there, but i literally get dms every single day asking me what products i use if I'Ve dyed my hair. What color i asked for the salon, and today i'm going to be answering all of those questions for you. I feel like this. Video is going to be kind of underwhelming because i actually do not use a lot of products on my hair at all. I feel like it's just kind of genetics. I have naturally very very thick hair and when it's straightened it does look really nice and glossy. I feel like there's a few little tips and tricks, and there are a few products which i would definitely recommend to you guys to try. I'M basically just going to show you how i style my hair from getting in the shower to having my hair like this, which most of the time i do just have it straight, even though i don't really like my hair straight, i do prefer my hair curly To curl my hair with colors, i do have to straighten it first like get rid of all the frizz, so my hat is always straight, so i do this routine literally like once a week i'd say i probably wash my hair once a week for sure. Maybe like every five days i wash my hair and then, if i have plans i'll, probably wash it more than once a week depending on what i've got on i'm gon na quickly tell you what shampoo and conditioner i use, because i don't actually think i mentioned It in the video so for shampoo - i've literally been using this for years now. It'S the aussie miracle, moist shampoo, which just looks like this. Let me show you sometimes i kind of suffer with like a dry scalp and because i've got such thick hair. This is like to you know, moisturize your hair. It'S really really good. It'S a little bit more expensive than like the shampoos and conditioners that are on offer. I feel like you can buy two of these big ones for 10 pounds i feel like shampoo is so important. I mean i know, condition is important as well, but i feel like shampoo it like it controls how greasy your hair can get all of that stuff. So yeah this is the shampoo that i use and then for conditioner i don't actually have i've actually ran out, but i'll put on the screen now, which one i use it's like an alberto. Some. I don't know what brand it is, but it's basically this conditioner here and it's like a coconut lychee one. Now the conditioner that i use is actually really cheap um. I feel like it's like a pound from tesco's. I really like it. I'M not a huge fan of the conditioner version of this. I don't know why. Maybe it's just in my head, but i do really love the alberto one and it is, it's only actually a pound and it works really well for my hair and you can literally buy it from anywhere and yeah. My hair is, you know this shiny and i've been using that for more than like eight months, i'd say: maybe nine, maybe even a year actually. So i will link those down below if you guys are interested in getting them, but you can literally get them from boots. Super dry tesco's, another quick tip. I don't actually remember if i mentioned this either, but one thing that i do really really recommend, especially if you've got like long, thick, hair or even really dry hair. When i've got a dry scalp and like i noticed that i have more dandruff than usual or like my scalp is flaking off, it happens to me. Sometimes you just be any like virgin coconut oil and i literally melt it into a bowl, and i literally will sometimes i do it myself. Sometimes i get my mom to do it to my nan. Basically, just give me like a coconut oil massage. I feel like it's a very asian thing to do get oil put in your hair, leaving it overnight, but i will literally completely coat my hair in coconut oil, like literally my roots, will all be like soaked in it, and i find that really really helps. So let's get started with the video. I know this video is probably gon na, be really really long, sorry about it, but let's get on with the video. What i show you my hair care, routine and all the products i show in this video will be linked description box down below so yeah. Let'S get started hi guys, so this is my hair that needs to be washed. So i just thought: i'd start the video here now that i've got plans and stuff like i need my hair fresh for specific days. I have just had it up using this little clip thing, but by the way i actually got this clip from asda. I'Ve been trying to look for a big claw clip which will actually hold up my hair cuz. I have a lot of very thick long hair and i literally found this one from as it was only like five pound stomach. So if you guys have thick hair and you're looking for a claw clip as dark check out asda, i'm just now, gon na go in the shower wash my hair and all of that good stuff, and i will come back once my hair is fresh. So so guys, i've now washed my hair feeling honestly, when you wash your hair, it's just the best feeling in the world and what i'm gon na do basically is just let it kind of air dry about half the way through, and my hair literally can take Hours and hours and hours to fully air dry, which is why i don't really air dry. It anymore, i feel like it, never probably dries inside and it's always still like a little bit damp inside and then i think my hair gets greasier quicker. That'S just kind of what i've observed, so i'm just gon na let it half air dry because the little machine that i'm to be using it doesn't really work that great on completely wet hair, which my hair, i've literally just can't shower. But when i first got the shower, i don't apply any products in my hair at all, come back when my hair is half a dried okay guys. So my hair is now about half the way dried. I know it looks like it is fully dry, but it actually isn't it's still kind of like very wet inside. I actually completely forgot telling you guys about a product which i do actually sometimes use, and i get so many questions about how i get my hair. The color that it is, and i'm going to tell you guys exactly what i use. Let me just go, get it a little fat. I'Ve actually never dyed. My hair professionally, like i used to like, do ombre back in the day like you, have not put any dye to my hair in, like the past three years, i'd probably say um, but what i do use so i started using this last year around christmas time. It'S basically a john frieda shea blonde go blonder controlled lighting spray. So that's what it looks like, don't mind me just being a beauty guru, so this is for blonde hair, but it actually does work really nicely on brunette hat and i do obviously have asian dark hair and it works really nicely it's a very subtle lighting, like Obviously, you can tell that's not anything crazy, i don't apply it every time. I come out the shower, probably like once a month. I probably use this in my hair. Obviously, the more light you want to go, the more this you could use, but it is really good and i think it's probably around under 10 pounds. So it's really not too expensive and you can literally just spray in your hair whenever so anyway, the product which i'm now going to be using. So this is actually my sister's. I really need to get my own, which i can take to uni with me, because i really don't know now what i would do without this. Basically a revlon. I don't actually know what this is called. I feel like it's called the revlon one step. Color blow dry, something i will link it down below, so you guys can go check it out, but i think it's around 40 to 50 pounds, but basically it is just sort of like a hair dryer, but it has all these kind of like bristles and it Just blows out hot or cold air, and then literally all you do is just kind of go down your hair. Without you to actually brush my hair, you can just kind of give yourself a little blow dry if you've got naturally silky hair. This will work a dream for you because i use it to dry my hair, but i still do always need to go in with a hair strain afterwards, just to kind of like get rid of the frizz. So i'm gon na just show you how i basically use this and then i will speed up for you guys. These are basically the settings here, so i literally so obviously you can go on to. Obviously it has a cold air one, a hot air setting and another hot air setting. I use the number two of the hot air setting just because it's a little bit more powerful. What i like to do is section my hair off, so i'm going to leave about this much of my hair. To be honest guys, i would make sure that your hair's a little bit more wet because i'm not realizing it is quite dry. It'S just going to show you guys how i work you guys can see so obviously the more wet your hair is. It does give this kind of like blow-dry flick at the end and if your hair, like doesn't actually have any frizz to it, it's just such a nice way to quickly do your hairline, but i'm just going to carry on doing this to the rest of my Hair and i do like to just flick the ends and it just gets rid of so much frizz, which is why i literally love it see, i'm going to do one side and then show you, but my hair is pretty dry, which make sure you leave your Hair a little bit more wet than what i have so guys. This is the difference, so this is before you can actually see how frizzy and just horrible and ratty it looks, and this is using the machine. You can actually just see how much more silky it makes the hair and i'm now gon na - do this side of my head as well, but yeah. This is how it's looking i'm obsessed so so guys that is pretty much. My entire head, um. The outer bit is a lot more frizzy than the inner bit, but that's because i let that bit dry a little bit more and, to be honest, if i wanted to head out like this, i totally would i would just put a little bit of like frizzy's Oil in my hair and then head out now i'm gon na. Let my hair cool down for a bit and then i will calm it to straighten it later on, because i don't want to apply too much heat on it all at once. I'Ll come back to you guys when i'm ready to straighten it hi guys it's actually the next day. I look a little bit different because i actually just got my eyelashes done, but yeah all i'm gon na do with my hair. Now is literally just straighten it and i feel, like it's kind of self-explanatory ghds that i use i literally just use. I don't know what to call them, but they're, just basically the wide ones, and i would highly recommend these as well. If you have like thick long hair, it speeds up the process so much because it's almost like, maybe not double, but it's a lot bigger than the normal size of the ghds. I just find them way too thin. It takes way too long for me to straighten my hair, but yeah. I will be back once i straighten my hair because it's kind of boring to see all you do is literally grab a piece of hair and straighten it. So yeah i'll be back once i've straightened my hair voila guys. This is my hair completely straightened, so you can see like just by straightening it. It already makes it look so much more glossy. Then. What i like to do is just put a little bit of serum in it just to kind of like make it look a little bit more glossy and healthy, even though i feel like i don't really need it, but also like to tame any frizz. If i get it, you know what i mean, but what i really like actually is from beauty works. It'S the beauty, works argan serum. I do have a code with beauty works, i don't know if it still works, but i think it's kim 10 or kim m10 um, and it should give you 10 off if you do want to buy anything but yeah like i said, i'm not sure if that's Valid literally, what i do is i take not a lot because i feel like if you use too much it can make your hair a bit too oily and makes it look a bit greasy. So i literally just really rub it into my hands and then literally just run it through the ends of my hair. I don't take it too high up because yeah it can get really greasy in your hair, but i will probably style my hair, probably curl it and then once i do another style. I then add more of this in, but just to kind of like keep it sleek and shiny. That'S literally, all i do so yeah. That is pretty much my haircut routine. To be honest, i don't really like my hair straight. I prefer it curly or wavy. Like honestly, i get so many questions on my hair. She gets so many questions on what i do for my hair. That'S literally it i really don't use a lot of products and i do feel like sometimes less is more yeah. That'S pretty much it for my haircut route scene. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. I will definitely link everything that i've used in this video down below. So you guys can go check that out. Yeah make sure to give this video a thumbs up.
