This is the rumor report with angela yeah on the breakfast club. Well, earlier this month, people were shocked when ricky martin was hit with a domestic violence related restraining order from his own nephew. According to the initial reports, allegedly ricky martin was dating his own nephew for seven months, but they broke up two months ago. Now, according to ricky martin, he immediately denied the claims. He said at the time that he would be fully vindicated and he was facing 50 years in prison if it was true well, those charges have been dropped. The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone without any outside influence or pressure, and he confirmed that he was also satisfied with his legal representation in this matter. So he has to dismiss the case and they said according to reports, it was never anything more than a troubled individual, making false allegations with absolutely nothing to substantiate them. Ricky martin released a statement just as we had anticipated. The temporary protection order was not extended by the court. The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, so he's uh. That was his statement. Didn'T this just happen monday. I just heard the story monday yeah. This really did just happen. Lord have mercy so ricky. Martin has said all along that this was something that was happening because his nephew was troubled and there were false allegations and now his nephew has dropped everything yeah and the terrible thing about those uh. You know false allegations is, like you know, the court of public opinion. You know has probably already convicted him. So that's something that's gon na hang over his head forever, because somebody is troubled all right now. Usher recently did an interview with e's daily pop show, and he was asked about doing a versus. You know. Everybody has been talking about usher versus chris brown, who would he go up against? Well, here's what he had to say. Everyone wants to see you possibly maybe do a versus. They talked about you doing it.
