Let'S test out the viral silicone shampoo brush, if you're new to my channel and if you're not welcome back, i'm mike i'm, who i'm a hairdresser, a l'oreal, color specialist, a makeup fan and a skincare lover in today's film. We are gon na, be testing out and trying out the very viral silicone shampoo brush. So if you want to find out my thoughts about it and how it works and is it actually worth buying, then you better keep on watching? What is the story? Everyone in today's film we are going to be trying out the very viral silicone shampoo brush on my channel first things. First, you guys now look at the hack of me. Let'S appreciate the very second that i look like absolute april dirt and my hair. I look like i don't actually know. I look like a truck driver mixed with the tiger king, so i mean we've bit about, but you guys i got this on aliexpress the other day, because i've seen it all over internet - and this is very much your silicone shampoo brush. So this is meant to exfoliate your scalp, massage your scalp help to clean your hair, better and clean your scalp better, and when i first seen it i was a bit like hmm, i mean i can wash hair. Well, i mean fingers and my hands can wash hair very very well, but let's not fool each other. I'Ve been washing hair for over a decade. So what we're gon na do today is i'm gon na shampoo, my hair on camera, using this very shampoo brush. So what can i tell you about it? This is made out of silicone, so, what's meant to do, is it's meant to stimulate the scalp and wash it really really? Well because, as we all know, loads of people have issues with shampooing their hair correctly, and this is meant to make it easier. It'S meant to exfoliate the scalp wash the scalp really well, however, by looking at it and feeling this, i probably would not recommend this to anyone with sensitive scalp or scalp. That has any scalp issues. So if your scalp is irritated or sensitive, probably stay away from it, because i think when it comes to your hands, you can definitely know the pressure. You know what you're doing, but when it comes to a turret object, you really don't have much control over it. Unless it's just pressure, so you guys what i'm going to do is i'm going to quickly go off camera, i'm going to saturate my hair with water, we're going to come back and we're going to shampoo my hair using the silicone brush right. So my hair is saturated today to wash my hair, i am going to be using clean rest shampoo by biology, and i absolutely love this shampoo. I mean some of the biola stuff is quite amazing right. So how would we go about this first things? First, like obviously, you have to put that around your hands, so this is probably the way it that would sit in your hand and obviously you'd use that to massage your scalp or shampoo, your hair. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to take a bit of shampoo and i'm going to use the amount of shampoo that i would normally use and we're going to see if that's going to lather up so literally just that is more than enough. For my hair and i am going to work that through my hands first and i'm gon na just apply it onto my hair and see if the massager is gon na help to ladder up the product or not. So i'm gon na take that up and oh yeah, so the product is laddering up now. How is that feeling? Now? I must say it feels very strange on your scalp. It definitely feels quite strange. I don't know. Is it comfortable? Is it nice, like you, don't really have much control with it as you would with your hands? If you ask me, do you know so, there's not much ladder coming up, because my hair is quite filthy. So what i'm going to do now is i'm going to rinse that off and i'm going to do a second shampoo on camera right. Let'S continue with the second shampoo so like that same amount of product, just a tiny bit that's more than enough, and what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na work that, through my hands and through my hair and we're getting a ladder now, because what you Should always shampoo your hair twice for best result right, so we have a ladder on our hair, i'm going to take the shampooer and, like i'm, going to start massaging it now. How does it feel do i think it feels good? I think it feels weird like even after the first shampoo, my scab was a bit sore, but that's probably because i was rubbing it too much do i feel like it's exfoliating, my scalp, not really my only worry about it is now you guys see what i'm Doing is when i'm doing my round motions. This is really tangling the hair. On top of my head, like i feel like that's not getting into my scalp like all, it's really doing is just tangling the hair on top of it, because i have short hair. But let's say if i'm gon na go in with my fingers, i'm really going in at the scalp so see like this. Is me just shampooing my hair normally and then, when i'm taking the massager like it's really just working like there's, there shouldn't be as much ladder on the ends because, as we all know, we should not be aggressive on our lens and ends when it comes to The massager - i don't know how i feel about this. I think it's quite gimmicky, if you ask me, like my scalp, feels funny after using it, and you guys - i don't know if you can see this on camera, but there is actually a lot of hair on it like there's a lot of hair after coming out, Which is, i don't know like, i know we lose hair when we shampoo in our hair, but there is actually a lot of hair coming out of it to know now, if you ask me personally, i probably just rather go over and just shampoo my hair as Normal, so you guys what i'm going to do is i'm going to go off camera i'm going to rinse that out, i'm going to condition my hair, i'm going to come back and i'm going to give you my final thought about the silicone shampooing brush right. So, let's conclude everything about the silicone shampoo brush: now you guys, when i collect my hair is clean. Do i feel like it's done anything magical to my hair? No, it did not. Did it shampoo, my hair, better? No, it did not now few things. Let'S talk about this thing: there there's a lot of hair actually on this brush, which normally shouldn't happen when you shampoo in your hair. Well, it wouldn't really happen to me, but this is quite a large amount for hair myelin or the amount of hair that i have so to me, that's a no. I definitely felt like when i was washing my hair with it. I just wanted to get my hands in it and scrub it. I don't feel like my scalp is anywhere cleaner. It'S exfoliated! I actually thought it was quite weird and uncomfortable on my scalp, and i think the pressure of your hands is just a lot better because you can really get into the scalp and wash it and massage it. Another thing was that when i was actually washing my hair with it and rubbing, the hair was actually getting tangled in it and, as we all know, when we're shampooing our hair, i always tell you stay away from the middle lens and then you're, washing the scalp And let the product run down, because the cuticles are open when this really tangled the hair, so i mean do i feel like it made my job easier. Shampooing, no, did it make it harder kinda, because i think the pressure of your own hands? You can really feel what you're doing with this. I just found it quite useless, so you guys when it comes to the silicone shampoo brush. I think this is a april dirt. Anyways guys. Thank you for watching today's video. I hope you found this vermont interesting, helpful and useful. Please like share comment and subscribe to my channel, also check out my other social media and, of course, you guys. Please please, please do take care bye,

Gary Zimmerman: I feel the same as you do! I’ve tried two different companies (Diane and tangle teezer) of shampoo brushes and didn’t think either was worth the money or effort. I’ll just stick with using my hands. Thanks for the great review.

C Foster: I have coily hair so this is a definite no for me! I don't need anything else causing more tangles than I already have.

Joanna Chávarry: I recently tried a vibrating silicone brush and I quite like it. My hair is oily, so I first applied shampoo and gave a massage with my fingertips. Then, I combed my hair backwards from the forehead (that's what the instructions said), and it didn't tangle it... I found it relaxing, though, I agree I did see hair in the brush, but not biggie

pinkybananas1: For me it didn't matter how long or how vigorously i would wash my hair with my fingertips I would get a smelly scalp but with any massager that's not been an issue anymore

thegreenmanofnorwich: I just use it as a scalp massager, and it's quite good for that. I have used it for shampoo and it did make it easier to get to my scalp without getting shampoo all over the lengths of my hair. I press it down, I just move it around without the points actually moving over my scalp.

SHINee fouzia: I actually love my silicone comb, I use it for the first wash and for the second I use my finger tips and Yes, it tangles the hair a lot . Mike, can you please do a video on cheap shampoos (Pantene, sunsilk, head and shoulders, clear. Etc) lemme tell you that in my country shampoos like elseve/ Garnier/tresemme are considered luxury lol

Grace Kau: Mike you’re amazing, going to great lengths just so us mortals could be saved from bad hair days!

ambrite: I bought one of these (I have looong hair) and I found the same thing, it tangles. You can't run it over your whole scalp, you have to sort of place it, scrub that section, then place it in another spot and repeat. I did find however that it made a nice scalp massage on dry hair, I have a flakey scalp and would use it prior to washing and that works well.

Lauren Maria: I’ve been watching your videos all day & you really make me laugh so much I love your sense of humour so much, makes your content very interesting as well as educational!

muskndusk: I use mine between shampoos when my hair is dry to improve circulation of the scalp and encourage hair growth. I've always fancied an Indian head massage: those videos where women have coconut oil poured over their heads till it drips from their long hair and someone massages their scalp and hair. These peculiar silicone devices are a poor substitute for that.

Nicole Stanovich: I agree and felt was more on the damaging side for me due to I have severe damage and hair is fragile. Wind is damaging hair is fragile, found out I’m protein sensitive curly over here. Thanks

Babette Kleine Deters: I have fine and thin hair with some hormonal damage, and I feel like this caused a lot of breakage for me.

wolf: I adore this brushes. So relaxing and for a lazy person with long hair like me, this tool is perfect. You have no idea how to use it. Ofc its tangle your hair if you press hard and in circular motion...

GreggyBen: I ordered it just now! I’m not sure how I’d turn out but I only got it because I barely have nails to massage my hair or it breaks easily. Plus I’m lazy to massage my hair all day

Nutellix: Do you think it's going to damage my scalp if I use it outside of shampooing to stimulate hair growth?

Stephanie Salazar: I have this brush and it makes a lot of tangles on my long hair. I didn't like it. Mike I'm waiting for your video about dialight

Magaly Rodriguez: I almost buy one of those, thanks your video come on time to me.

Heidi Scott: My concern is if the brush is not cleaned properly after use how do you get the dirt out of the holes/cracks etc. My scalp would flare up...

Lesley Elder: I tried this on my fine hair and my hair tangled and I also suffered some breakage so it's not something I'd use again.

Komal Chauhan: I used this for 2 months and it made bald patches on my head. I lost a lot of hair with this. I never would use it and never would recommend it to anyone!

Isaac Estrada: I have one of those it’s going in the trash today. I really does puppy my hair badly and causes a lot of breakage

Null Soul Slayer: A quality beard brush is better; Cheaper too. The silicone massage brushes are more of a novelty.

Gyani Admi: Very informative video.

Ashley Tantillo: Love your eyes!!! and honesty

Ana Rita Silva: I would like to know if you ever tried the Lazartigue products and your opinion about them. Love your videos!!

Rubberelectricsoul: I asked about this months ago and you had no idea what I was talking about lol. I stopped using it for the same reasons washing hair with your hands is enough.

Xiao: its more meant for curly hair

Jimmy Dickinson: You need more shampoo to lather with, a lot more shampoo!

Elsabe van Rensburg: Thanks for this video. I were thinking of buying this but know it's not going to happen.

narutosinuyasha11: So rough!!! you’ll rip your hair

Manisha Yadav: Yup it is a useless product.. like you said my hair got tangled.. more hair fall from being tangled… piece of dirt product… waste of money!

Joe: You went hard on that brush Don't do circles bub. Tangles and breaks.

Pumibel: My dog likes it. Well, she gets cleaner during the dreaded bath anyway. I have long skinny fingers, so I don't know why I thought it would be better to use the brush. I have long curly hair, and the brush was awkward and annoying. It felt like it was tangling my hair even though I focus my shampoo on my scalp. It definitely works well when I bathe my dog, who has short dense water repelling fur. I think this is one of those products that you either love or hate because a lot of people enjoy using them.

Zoe: I hear Irish and something else i don't know what accent. Love your haircut i must say x

PeaceGTV: It can cause bald spots and permanent balding to you. This is a dangerous and too ambitious of a product.

Xinsilicone: Your hair brush is very good my friend

Regina di Spade: I think this is pure gimmick

Bellaboo: I’ve used these in the past and honestly don’t like it it’s not relaxing and hurts my scalp
