Curly crew welcome back to another video. If this is crystal aka curly chris and today's video is going to be my 2021 favorite natural hair products so far and honestly, 20 21 is basically over with because it only got like two months left. So the products that have had me in the choke hold all year pretty much. Okay, that's what i'm going to be telling you guys in today's video. If you are new to girls channel make sure you do one thing, and one thing only before you click on this video and that is to smash that button down below smash that button don't be low, hey, like you mean it enjoying the curly crew. We would love to have you here now y'all, i'm kind of upset right now, because this is my second time recording this video and this video took about 30 minutes to record, i mean edited and chopped and screwed. It'S gon na be about 20, something minutes or probably less, but it took me a while and it was so quality, but i had to record it again because i was not in focus the entire time, so i really do hope. You guys appreciate this video and interact with it. Give it a thumbs up, drop a comment: do something for your good sis because outside okay, so let me go ahead and hop right on into this video. So when it comes to my favorite products, i'm not just giving y'all shampoos. Okay, i'm giving y'all shampoos conditioners deep conditioners, leave-ins stylers the whole nine. So let's go ahead and hop right into the shampoos first. So the first shampoo that i'm going to talk about that has really like shocked me is the riojio curl charisma, rice amino and avocado hydrating shampoo, and it's not just a shampoo that shocked me. This entire line has shocked me. This is a line i would have. Never tried or a brand, i would have never tried, had it not been for me being on sephora squad because they are sold in sephora. Now. What i love about this one is that it is a protein. Well, it has protein in it because it has rice in it, but it leaves my curls feeling really really clean, but not super stripped and y'all know. For me, i do not like a strip feeling i never have, and this one does a really really good job with leaving my curls feeling nice and still much a little bit hydrated. Basically, so this one is really really good. Now the next one i want to talk about is y'all already know my like this shampoo angle on nowhere sits. Okay, it's not going anywhere, and this is the camille rose, sweet ginger, cleansing rinse. I just this is a pure gem, because what i love about this one is it literally, oh also cleansing rinse means shampoo, but what i love about this one is that my curls feel super super hydrated like moisturized and hydrated once i finished using it, and it Also cleanses, my scalp super super. Well, so i get a clean, scalp and hydrated curls, so it's kind of like the best of both worlds. For me, because i like to have hydrated curls once i finish: shampooing versus um strip, curls that feel like kind of dry and you know a little gritty or not gritty but hard to touch okay. So this one is a really really good one and will probably always be in my favorites videos moving right along. We are going to be getting into another brioche, oh, like y'all, another briochio shampoo, like i'm, really starting to like riojio a lot, and let me just be honest: real quick, okay briochiel was never a brain that stood out to me because i always viewed them as Since they were in sephora, i was just like: oh they're, not a brand, that's created for me because i never felt like sephora was because they didn't really carry or didn't carry any natural hair products. Um as well. Beauty was one of the first ones that i actually recognized as a black owned woman on natural hair brain that was for my hair type in sephora. So that's why i can say like whenever i saw briochio. I believe they are black owned, but for one i did not even realize that and for two i just never actually picked up the pack like their bottles to see, because i know it wasn't targeted like for my thick curly hair, but the one i'm thinking about Is the briochio superfoods mango and cherry balancing shampoo and this bad boy right here y'all. I actually use this in the video on my channel a few weeks back or a few months ago. This one is super super good, sorry y'all. This is what happens when you live in my part of town, okay, but this one is super super good because it once again does not leave me with strip curls at all, and also a little bit of this goes a very long way, and it is a 12.5, fluid ounce, containers and briogeo is kind of on like the more pricier side, but i most definitely feel like their products are quality, and this one has a bomb consistency. A little goes a long way. My curls are not stripped. My curls are hydrated like this took me by surprise, but i enjoy the ride. Okay now, the next one i want to get into is also one that has been a favorite of mine for forever and that is the ors hair repair scalp rescuing detox shampoo. Let me tell you something about this one, this right here: the reason why it stands out to me so much um. It leaves my curls feeling silky, smooth, okay, silky, smooth and also it has hyaluronic acid in the product. I'Ve never seen a shampoo that has hyaluronic acid in it, and it also has active aloe um rose clay, and it also has these micro exfoliators that go to your scalp and it targets all that dirt and gets all that off of your scalp, like it exfoliates. Your scalp and has hyaluronic acid in it. Excuse me like y'all know: i've been using this for about maybe two years now um and it's literally had me in a chocolate ever since i put it on my curls okay. It says this thing is bomb and a bomb price point as well. Okay, so those are all my shampoos that have been my favorites this year, but actually, let me give you guys a stripping shampoo. Just in case you are someone who likes a little bit of a strip. I'M gon na put you on real, quick and i'm gon na. Tell you about the melanin hair care african black soap, reviving shampoo! You probably already heard of this one, but this one is a stripping shampoo, where it's going to cleanse this okay cleanse and it don't play no games, it's going to cleanse them curls now moving right along to the mass and deep conditioners. Okay, first thing: first, the one i want to talk about is the one that has had me in the toe coat since 2017, or probably even before then, and that is a tgin honey miracle hair mask when i tell y'all ever since i put this on my Curls, i have not stopped yet it is so good, so moisturizing so much slip like this thing has the most slip out of almost well, i'm not going to say any, because i do have another one that i'm about to tell y'all. That kind of is, like you know, toe-to-toe head-to-head with it. Okay, this one is really good, though, especially because one of the main ingredients is honey. Honey is a humectant, which means it draws the moisture in so in the wintertime. This would be a mask that i lean towards, because i do want that moisture to be drawn into my curls since it's so cold outside. So this one is bomb with amazing slip like this is probably my fifth jar that i've gone through or more, and i'm literally almost out of this one as well, so the next one i want to talk about is one that i actually discovered this year. Y'All wait was it this year. I think it was this year, and that is the dr miracles rice protein and babasu oil hydrating and strengthening deep conditioner. I literally stumbled up fondness on amazon. When i did my amazon wash day, video and um, i just some would gone going to somehow. I think i was just like looking at natural hair products and when i tell y'all that is the happiest scroll like i have ever did on amazon. This thing right here when i tell you this is the one i will talk about when i say it's a slip on it matches the tgin one, but probably even more y'all like this one is bomb for slip and also it has rice protein in it. So it is a protein deep conditioner. It has a bomb price point as well. When i told y'all about this on my amazon channel the first time y'all literally sold it y'all literally sold it out. Oh wait! No, you didn't sell it out, but you brought so many of them to where amazon increased the price from eight dollars to sixteen dollars, because they were just going that fast. But i believe now it's back at the regular price of eight dollars. But this is amazing, and i i and i actually do want to try the rest of the dr miracles line, because if this one mask is this good, i can only imagine how bomb the entire line is um. So i need to get around to doing that. But this is good y'all now the last one i want to talk about is one that i was also put on in 2021. Once again, thanks to sephora squad and that's the fable and maine holy rose hair mask. I would have never tried this word not for sephora squid, because i i don't go to sephora for natural hair products like i don't think any black person go to sephora and look for natural hair products like self care body care fragrance, yes, but natural hair products. You know it just doesn't scream so far: it screams sally beauty or my corner store. You feel me so this one right here, though, is really really good and sephora actually does have a really good selection of black owned products by the way for our hair um, and this one is the fable and maine holy rose hair mask. I really do like this because of the slip and moisture that it gives to my that it provides to my curls now. This is an eight ounce jar which is pretty small, but i get about three uses out of it. So i've used it twice already and i have about one more use left in there. So just to give you guys, like a little bit of a you know something to go by this. One is on, i believe, more of like a little pricier price point, but it has mango butter in it. Mango butter stand up, okay, stand up, y'all know, that's probably why i love it so much. It has a mango butter and it says: okay. Y'All know my curl lustre mango butter. As far as the size goes, this one can be compared to the my organic baba, sue and matt deep conditioner, not as far as workability just for the size of it. So that's all for my mass and deep conditioners that have had me in a chokehold um for 2021, but one thing that i do want to mention to you guys. Surprisingly. Okay, so y'all know i do not pre-poo okay, i don't pre-poo. I just don't have a need for it, but my niece was here a few weeks ago and her hair was so tangled from a protective style that she had in, and i was watching it and now just like. There'S absolutely no way that i can like take this down and not break her hair out and just go like straight straight to shampooing. So i decided to use this african pride pre-poo that i did get in pr and when i tell y'all this thing right here, i can see why it's useful after protective styling like i would probably use this if i protective style for a while. This literally melted all of her kinks away y'all, like the the consistency of it, is just oh, it smells so good. Oh my gosh, it smells so good, but the consistency is kind of like um, it's kind of like a custard or a souffle type of thing. Um, but it has a bomb price point, an amazing price point, a bomb smell it works so well and the crazy part about it is you use it on dry hair, not even on wet hair. So i just wanted to throw that in there and just say, like i understand where y'all coming from all right now, let's move on to leave-in conditioners. Now, honestly, i don't even have that many in this category, because i like to keep my constant ones in the rotation. Okay, so for sure one, i literally love is the ajwa beauty, biomed, leave-in, conditioning styler. Now this right here y'all know, i have been using for a long time and what i love about it is. It has more of a thicker consistency, but it's so creamy and so moisturizing. These also have vitamin in them. So biomed, like do y'all, just see how creamy that is, it's literally almost like a hair cream, which is why i believe it's called a conditioning styler. So if you do have like real, like really really thick curls, i do recommend that you try this out, because it gives you more moisture than a regular leave-in. It'S way, thicker and way more moisturizing, like it's, almost it's kind of like like a cream actually. So if you use this along with the styling cream, you get bomb moisture that lasts for a long time, and this one also has spearmint in it. So whenever it does touch your scalp, like it just tingles a little bit. So i love that and it has peppermint as well. It just smells so good. Like i love, love, love it. The next leave-in conditioner that i want to talk about is the tray luxe untied the not leave nourishing leave-in, conditioner and y'all know. I use this on. My channel a whole lot and it's just because i love it that much this one does have a more looser consistency than the ajwa beauty one or does it well yeah it does it's more watery than the ajwa beauty, one smells so good. It smells like cinnamon. I love the smell, but this right here is more of like a regular leave-in type of consistency, and i tell y'all it gives my curls so much definition and moisture combined. This one gives me a lot of definition as well. Like definition is just popping whenever i use this leave-in conditioner and it smells amazing and like the slip on it is also bomb like have you ever tried this one? I'M pretty sure you can understand where i'm coming from it is bomb as far as price points goes. This one is about two times more expensive than this one. I believe so. This one is a tad bit more affordable, but the eyeshadow beauty girl, don't sleep on her okay. Now, that's it for my regular leave-ins, but i also wanted to mention this argan oil um strength and shine leave-in conditioner, because y'all know. I talk about this a lot whenever i'm talking about protective styles, if you are protective styling, i highly recommend that you spray that that you get a bottle of this to spray onto your scalp and also throughout your braids, or your sewing to just give your curls A little bit more of a moisture and hydration. This thing right here, y'all is perfect for for protective styles, it's really easy to just get it to whichever part of your head. You want you spray it. It has like a little cream in it. So it's more than just a liquid: it's like a cream as well in the inside. You have to shake it to activate by the way. Don'T forget that, and it's just so so good on the curls on the scalp y'all. Okay, i love love, love this leave-in for protective styling. Also the dollar tree leave-in also has me in the chocolate: that's not changing. No time soon. It'S okay y'all know. I love that one. So, let's move on to the creams. So as far as creams go, i only have two for this category, which is super shocking to me, because i do a lot of twist outs right, but i only have two and the one that i'm talking about is the trey lux curl supreme foreign, one hydrating Cream this one is so moisturizing. I actually prefer to use this for, like rod sets or like braiding curls twisting curls. It literally gives me the best definition. Um, the foreign one by the way is hydrate, strengthen, protect and style, and this is just bomb okay. I really really really do love this cream now the smell. Oh, why does trey lux product smell, so good yeah? It smells so so good like fruity refreshing. It just smells amazing. Okay and one thing about this, it is a eight ounce container, but you're going to use this about 10 plus times like a little bit goes a long way. I'Ve used this container like two times already, and it's literally almost still full, like i just love this cream. So much, isn't it crazy how these two are the same size there's no way this has to be 16 ounces. It says eight ounce now the next one. I want to talk about. Is the eden body works, natural, curl, defining cream, so y'all know this has been a favor of mine since, like 2017 2018 ish, and it's just so bomb - and it also has a bomb price point. So i love to recommend this one because it works amazing and the price point is also bomb. I actually just use this on my curls a few weeks ago in another tutorial and my curls came out so bomb and just so moisturized and bouncy and fluffy like well, not not fluffy, no moisturized and volumized. Does that even work. I had a lot of volume. Okay and it feels super super moisturized and it's defined so this right here is a 16 ounce and when i tell you, you're gon na use this for a long time and it's about eight bucks. So it's literally a bomb price for the amount that you get now. If you are a person who does not like coconut, i would not shy away from this one. I would still give it a try just to see um what it does for your curls so because i also was not a fan of coconut at first and i tried this one, but this one was most definitely an exception for me, so those are literally my Only creams that i have for this video y'all, like have i just cleaned out my stash that good or is that really all i'm liking? Right now, like i don't know, since that's kind of all, i got so now we're gon na move on to the gel and honey honey honey. I know i know it's this jam girl. Listen, i'm telling myself the same thing like where who are you? You have your favorite gels. Excuse me ma'am, so the first one that i'm going to talk about is the main metabolism, design gel by the main choice. Listen, i absolutely love this gel for my slick backs. My high ponytails. I'Ve never used it for a wash and go i'm pretty sure it will give bomb hold, but for my slick backs and my ponytails huh, it keeps the ponytails in the choke hold sis. Okay, that hair is not going anywhere like once. I put this on my curls and i tie it down. You can forget about it, like the consistency is very like oh look at that and it's purple, which is my favorite color, so y'all know. I love that. Oh, that was nice, sis good job. So this one is really really good. Y'All, like i love this for my sick bags, my ponytails, my buns. It gets the job done. Okay - and this is a 16 ounce container now the next one for actual styling, actually, the next two that i'm going to talk about are by the same company, and that is african pride now listen. These are the gels i prefer to use for my wash and go y'all. I recently worked with this brand and when i tell y'all when i did my wash and go, it was popping even the front of my curls were popping, which is so shocking to me, because y'all y'all know the front of my curls. Do not act right and my curls look so so bomb so much definition and my front never defines usually, but it did with these now. This is the olive oil and tea tree nourish and hold max hold styling gel, and this is the black, castor and jojoba oil protect and hold max hold styling gel now, as far as which one i prefer. I really really love the olive oil one, but this is also good, like i used one on each side whenever i did my wash and go - and i just i do feel like - i will lean more towards this one honestly, but don't sleep on the castor oil. One either okay um, and these are also only five bucks at walgreens. So i mean a dollar wait. Is the walgreens or the dollar wait? Wait walgreens, i think, they're also at dollar tree though dollar general, i think they're, a dollar general as well, but walgreens for sure is where i went got these at um. I mean it's where i went for my promotion, but these are so good y'all like if you do want to wash and go it's not too much crunch. I do recommend these now. My last category that i have for you guys is oils okay, so the first oil that i want to talk about is the melanin hair care. Y'All know i've literally been in a choke hold ever since this oil came out. The reason why i love it just so much is because it's super lightweight like y'all, it's lightweight, but it literally seals it does what it needs to do like. I love to use this whenever i'm sealing in my moisture from like a twist out where my styling products are very heavy, and i just need like a lightweight oil, to seal i reach for this, but whenever i need a heavier oil because i'm using lighter products, I like to go for the ajwa beauty biomain oil blend, so these are the two oils that i literally reach for every single time. Installing my hair um, this one's almost empty well girl is, it literally got the last drop in there, okay, but these two are amazing. This one most definitely is my oil that i reach for more often, this is my second bottle of this stuff, because it's just that good, but this one's also bomb so y'all. I cannot believe i just now re-recorded that entire video for you guys, but those are my 2021 natural hair - fade products right now that i just have mean the chocolate that i just i just can't escape like they're, just that good. So let me know in the comments down below, if i did mention any of your favorite products, i would love to know or any products that you actually want to try out. Let me know in the comments down below. Thank you guys so much for tuning in. I really do appreciate all these supports on my curly crush channel okay and i'm gon na see you guys in my next video peace.
