Hey guys, hi, that's doing I hope I'll be putting well today. So today is good to be a bit of a different beginner. I'M actually going to do a part two, because I can't talk about everything in this video, but I'm going to talk about one, the homing of your hair. I'M also going to talk about like breakage and things like that. But I'm going to do a part two, because you guys will be asking a lot of questions and I want to make sure I touch on all of them. So don't be left out. Leave any comments in comment section. What you wanted to talk about and the comment that get the most like replies and things like that is what I'll talk about so going for. Like oh, my head, my head, big hips is my head bad. So I decided to kind of like ask you guys on my snapchat as a couple of designs: don't wan na don't follow that fat shot? You should my snapchat game is from Karachi. So I didn't shine after that. A little bit of like what your natural hair struggles were, and I did a little bit of research myself just to make sure that's giving you guys enough intel on what I'm going to be talking about today. This is going to be mostly a talking video, so I suggest, like you, just play this in background. I would say this, but I know that how I watch youtube videos that people are talking about useful information when information age, so nothing should be like foreign to you, even if a Nigeria compiled it. As I already said, you know, but um. So when you're watching this video just kind of put it in your ear, it could be a long video. So I don't put in your ear what you movie any page of Trinity Church are watching to do, because I wouldn't be talking about a lot of information. I know I kind of solved everybody's, not trying your problem, but I'm going to tell you guys what I learnt going natural and what can help you guys and thumbs up if you want any other videos like this one, where I talk about all these things and Also comment down below and let me know what other natural videos you would like to see now with me. Personally, let's start from there, I don't really do much to my hair, if I don't have it in my Pepsi right now is in my upper state, my shrunken adversity to how my hair is without me, stretching it I'll be creative. This is my hair texture. I'M gon na move forward redundancy like my hair texture and I do have a bit of shrinkage. I'M registering as much shrinkage. Also just quantify, cut them and cut the hair out resisted not to describe it, but this is how long I'm still pulling it out. But if I wet it and pull out more, but this is without wetting or anything, this is how long my shrinkage is. So that's how long my hair is, without it being in my shrunken stance with it's going to pull all that out. So this is how long my hair, my hair, is stretched a lot I want to I'm using, i braid my hair. I don't put any you know. I had bring my hair back and I take it out and get stretched. However, when you wear your hair distress style, your hair is more susceptible to being stretched and then it starts losing its natural calls. So with me, I tried not to do that stretching method. A lot and my protective style I realized, is like wearing wigs, because I don't really do much might have four see here. I don't really like natural hair typing, because the truth is, nobody has just one texture all throughout their head. I like, for example, I have a thicker texture right here, so I'm more for seen like in the back of my hair around the nape of my hair, I'm more for be like for a my. Some of my hair gets very very like it gets looser curl and the front of my hair is definitely very reaching a lot as well ago. I think I guess so my hair is extreme music and um. I have no expectations for my hair. I don't expect my hair to conform to certain things, but I know by now that, yes, I can do twists out. Yes, I do great out. You guys ask me all the time why I don't do these things, but the reason why I don't do these things is like basically saying when my hair is going to be like this kind of thing, and it's like that's not what my hair naturally does. I was just much rather leave it to do what it naturally does, because that is where your hair is most comfortable. I was happy, I know a lot of type of Google natural. They expect their hair to be a certain way. I know for a fact that I did when I first went natural I was trying to like curl my hair. I remember me a Bungie like sat down like oh. I saw this game only to head like little girl, it curls and it music Roshan good this week. My hair is going to do that and I have to find out the hard way that different people have different ways of their hair piece, and I know this might seem hard, but you really have to accept what your hair can do and be. Ok, we have to embrace your head. You have to understand that your head is with you what you hate it when people say like. Oh, my head had on my head, they put my head something. I always ask them, especially. How do you comb your hair dry? Now I call my hair dry. However, I comb my hair when is dry and stretched, so it's not even going to break my head now. Imagine if I went with a number one in my day, if I wanted a wide tooth comb, even a wide tooth comb and try to comb my hair like this. Try is not possible, and this is what we were not with like especially poor. Another, like temperate regions in front up with this whole assumption that we are including our hair, just like regular hair like permed hair, because when you have particles you stop combing your hair from here down, but natural hair is not like that: moola filled, no natural hair Is not like that have to start from the end and work your way up. If I take a chunk of hair, I try to calm it down. This is the worst way of comb, your hair, because guess what our head tongue goes. Naturally, I just call it normal posture and people are not even using a wide tooth comb. Sometimes they even use a smaller comb. I don't want to that. You need a wide tooth comb. How I get my to go start from the bottom. The bottom, which is right here, start from the bottom, just like that and then work your way up, I'm going to demonstrate, but I just want to tell you guys before I start my demonstration also what mistakes you might make so the first missing mag making is Like combing, your head dry, all the way from the root to the tip when you're supposed to work, you can pick to route. The second mistake you may be making is, you are not much shredding your hair or putting any kind of moisture in your hair before you comb it. My hair right now. I made sure that I slept some uncap or by particles. Could I also get questioned about product what prior to use why'd you hit going like this anomaly, ignore the natural? At the same time, everybody has different here group rate. I depends on how much links will be painting now length retention, it's all about keeping your ends. Tucked in and six so basically the ends are the oldest part of your hair and the more you keep it tucked in and the more you keep space be longer yeah I went natural. The water conditioner that has worked for me is the Herbal Essence, hello, hydration conditioner. Now this might not work for everybody out hiding on top and PMA and be like hey. You talked about this conditioner doesn't work for me because that's not what you're here like. However, my hair choked this stuff up, like no other conditioner I've ever used since I went at all access this conditioner on my hair, always make sure that you using products your hair lights, are going to seat yourself. You cannot render your hey, I everybody and it's not working, please stop using Google, not one. No hair does not like cruet my head, hates coconut oil, actually, which is weird cause. It'S like free, coconut oil revenues like my head and I get so fixed products that work for you. If you find that shea butter works for you cuz sheer butter. Definitely my hair loves it, but sometimes when I can't get the purified form, I just kind of wait. I use other parts with stop their work for you, so I from conditioner. I also knew to certain more stressors work for me, a little better than others. Press moisturize, I am using, I actually access this, my Jakarta solution - and this is the miss me over coral hydrator, and I thought I was never going to find peace in conditioner that works with this. My head loves it my going to say my head mounted, like I sprayed for my head, and it immediately cooperating want to make sure that you are putting in product when it stood down. So why you have to drive, then you could require you're, not lucky anything in the way, your hair, it's so wet or damp. Then you go in and you put your part of you so there's different methods is L, Co, LLC, girls, so many maxes. However, I want you guys to understand that it's actually all about feeling in one half moisture or water, on your hair, and then you have your given condition or anything like that. The oil will out lock everything in so that your hair would not move less you're. As fast so for my hair, I'm just going to take a section natural hair it something really has to take care of, and you have to put in time key results. You want to make sure they are always detangling your hair properly before you even call me, I'm not online. What are these things? I'M telling you that it's stuff that I've learned, but do I practice it not all the time. So I want you guys to understand that it does take patience and if you want to protect this stuff, make sure your please make sure your will be tangling. So I think that's see I'm just using my fingers to just angle my hair before I want to remember that your hair grows and these happen into engrams. So if your hair is breaking at fast going that you have to figure out a way for it to stop. So for you to maintain that happen in two months, you have to make sure that your hair is safe and if you're not over, manipulating because a lot of people think or Naturals I'm to going to leave my hair all the time and that can lead to Over manipulation, because you're, obviously like gon na, wanted to touch it you're going to want to do different styles to it. But if you just kind of like protect it and keep it in like a nice, effective style depending on the length of your hair, trust me, it will well. But, as I said, there will be in part two. But I want to be able to answer like the most important questions, because I definitely want to help you guys I want to like. I know that in this natural community, there's not a lot of 4c hair groups that have like that thick hair. Everything is this. Guy boy, long natural hair ia, I am already to measure and the cool but um okay, what's funny about this book, is I've had this book for almost a year now, and I read it a little bit but when I was reading yesterday, because I wanted to Do this to you, for you guys of like wow, this book actually has so much information. We talked about hair texture, talk about porosity and I just really feel like if you have any like doubts or anything touches that you want. This book is definitely something that explains everything I'm going to record part 2 next week. So it's just up to you guys leave me comments down below. I want to know what you really want to talk about in part two. I got so many snap questions and I want to be able to address most of them, or at least the most important ones. So I also want to get my YouTube our squad into it. So comment down below and let me know what you want me to talk about in part two, and I hope you enjoyed part one, and I hope that I am this started the explanation of how to take care of your sick for see here. Hope you guys enjoyed and stay tuned for part three thumbs up: nice

Ronkeraji: Let me know what you'd like to see in part two! All comments are welcome I love you guys! :)

L K: I don't get why 4c girls we have to braid or protective style all the time...I hate it I just want to wear my hair like other races. There has to be a way to take care of our hair without wigs and braids I'm determined to find a way

djlivvy46: Hallelujah! I have watched hundreds of YouTube videos made by black women from all over the world and this is honestly the first time I have seen hair that looked EXACTLY like mine. I especially appreciated what you said about accepting your real hair, because I truly believe that most black women actually want an unnatural version of natural hair, which to me totally defeats the object. Looking forward to Part 2!

Rachel Baffoe-Bonnie: Yes finally someone who knows how it feels to have 4c hair!

Promise Smithee: The natural hair care community love to judge us and accuse us of hating our hair. Our hair is very beautiful, i love running my fingers through my kinks and coiles, i love the fullness and the texture but its very course, delicate and prone to breakage, hurts to comb, high maintanence all at the same time. Our hair is its own person.

Falonne Mk: Having 4C hair is a struggle I’m thinking about relaxing my hair. I am over it... It's so hard to moisturize my hair and takes forever to detangle. Styling my hair is even harder, than moisturizing it for it to have curls.

Nongee Kandjii: THANK YOU FOR REPRESENTING THE THICK, 4c HAIR TYPES!!!!Finally. So I've been natural for exactly 2years now and I've been loving the experience so much. I have THICK, 4c hair. I must admit that I love the idea of being natural much more than I actually love being natural though. I'm about to complete my first degree so university life is crazy for me- meaning less time to care for my tresses. So I wear my hair in protective styles for about 99% of the year.My 4c hair is incredibly demanding though. With relaxed hair, I could moisturize twice a week and be good, but my natural hair is extremely dry and requires complete, excessive moisturization every single day or else it starts flaking and becomes very itchy. Is this normal? What products do you recommend for daily moisturization?I'm strongly considering returning to relaxers as my hair was just easier to care for back then, but I understand the psychological aspect of refusing to deal with one's own natural hair. But ultimately it's the hair's health that matters, right? Regardless of whether it's natural or relaxed?I'm needing help lol. Thank you for your video. Love from Namibia ♡

hahaha70263: Just a black guy (a Jamaican) that loves seeing Black/SSA descent women embrace their natural hair. I love your fro. It looks thick and healthy. Keep it up!

Promise Smithee: Yea im tired of getting judged for letting my daughter rock her natural fro. I love when her natural hair is just out. I hate how quickly it gets hard and dry tho

Nicia: Hey Ronke ! I discovered your channel through your natural hair series and I really enjoyed it ! I love this type of videos because as you stated there aren't a lot of 4c youtubers so it's nice to have people like you who are unapologetic about their hair ! Love you and blessings your way

Ayoku Fashola: I want a part 2! dealing with breakage and all this information is very essential. thanks for looking out for us

Lara M.: 4 years ago & still relevant thank you for this. i was just thinking about giving up and relaxing my hair

Layemi M: Going to transition soon I can't wait great advice Ronke ❤️

Jahnell Rich: YAAAAS - FINALLY FOUND MY HAIR TWIN ON YOUTUBE. I'LL BE HONEST I ENJOY SEEING EVERYONE WEARING THEIR NATURAL HAIR OUT AND SLAYING IT BUT I JUST KNOW THAT I CAN'T DO IT. NOT ENOUGH TIME IN THE DAY TO DEAL WITH WHEN I HAVE BOTH WORK AND SCHOOL TO JUGGLE.

Angela M. L. Fountain: Thank you for this wonderful video. My daughter and I have closer to 4D hair. It has the TIGHTEST coil of all the 4 hair types, it is the driest (highest porosity), breaks combs and tangles on itself if you look at it the wrong way. It took me 25 years to realize the does and don'ts of my 4C-D hair. I am glad to finally see more videos of women with 4C-D hair with better explanations of care technigues. Coconut oil also does not work on our hair... Our hair is protein sensative and coconut oil actually causes it to be more brittle and dry like hay. I like how you mention that just because it works for one person, your hair may not like it. I have gone through MANY different products to find what our hair does and doesn't like. It is an experiment of patience but it will pay off. I have discovered that more absorbant oils like Brocolli seed and grapeseed mixes or real Argon oil from Morocco helps. Distilled water in a spray gun with leave in conditioners that don't cause build up help as well. Real aloe vera gel from the plant helps retain moisture. Gels made from actual flaxseeds also helps. Most of all... our hair suffers moisture loss faster than you can blink your eye. I now have us sleep in pure silk caps to retain moisture at night and protective hairstyles when you are sleeping are a must! Most importantly, I have learned that you definitely have to accept your hair the way it is as well and be gentle and patient with it. Thanks again!

Sarah Thomas: I tried going natural 4 years ago! When it started getting a little longer! Oh, man it was hard to care for my hair! It was coarse and hard and nappy! Nobody's hair is the same! I did everything and then some! I was natural for 3 years! I went back to my relaxer! My hair is healthy and has grown. I only relax twice a year! It took my for hours and hour to maintain my natural hair. I'm a Certified Nursing Assistant! I don't work in an office, my job requires alot of lufting moving around fast, always busy! My natural hair was wet from sweat and got nappy and hard to comb or pick! I couldn't do it!! With both relax and natural gotta take care of it. It just didn't work for me! I'm pleased with my hair! Thanks!

Marcia Grant Hall: I know that this is an old video but I just saw it. I can relate. My hair hates coconut oil. I got really excited to finally hear someone who's hair reacts the same. So when you mentioned Herbal essences hello hydration conditioner being a product your hair reacts positively to, I got excited. But upon closer examination this is a coconut product! What gives?

katowo Natt: I love what you said! EMBRACE YOUR HAIR! FOR WHAT IT IS AND WHAT IT CAN DO! Thank you one African woman!

J B: Finally, someone with my texture hair. I just started the "natural" journey and have only gone three months without a relaxer and I can't comb it already!

Rosa Williams: Thank you so much for having my hair. Now I know what I'm dealing with so I had very high expectations of my hair, but now I will chill out. It is what it is. I like the conditioning suggestion you gave. continue the great work young lady. I just love it.

Amayatwo Cute: I go through the same thing with my hair it’s too thick and the comb breaks my hair is a 4c/4b to and it’s hard finally there is some who understands 4c hair thank youuuu ❤️!

Mrs Mincey: Finally somebody that has the same hair and length as mine. Thank you jesus All those styles and twist outs don't work for me either. The turn out never comes out right. No matter what I do to it it always feels dry. Oils do nothing for me but when my hair was relaxed years ago it was thin and fine. I had it pressed or recently and it was thin when straight but thick when back to its natural state. The knots are endless if I let my from go for 3 days with nothing on it. I'm so trying not to relax it .

xtel folaj: You are totally right about accepting your hair for what it is. Braid outs dont last on in my hair at ALL. Twist outs works sometimes but my hair ramples soo fast. So usually when I wear my hair out it always look crazy, messy, and undefined because I've accepted my hair for what it is. But I hear the most about my hair when I leave it out. I'm so used to how my hair is , I can't see how people see it as ugly.

Lisa T-Wright: I like what you've said about appreciating where your hair is and what it can do! I'm a 4b, although my hair toward the back seems easier to manage. When I moisturize my hair (water; cream; oil), I shingle, just to see how I might style my hair once it grows in longer. It does make my curls very defined. BUT if it didnt, I wouldn't take difficult, unnatural, measures to force it. I looovveeee natural hair. The major goal is long, strong, beautiful organic hair, which is trained to be and do its best through routinely practiced value and nurture.

Charria Lane: Love this video! I have 4b/4c hair and have been natural for over 12yrs, though nearly most of that time I had locs, because I didn't know what do to with it back then. There wasn't ANY info like this out there. I recently cut my locs and now rock a short natural hair do, all the info out here now has really helped me navigate this hair journey. If I didn't have helpful women like you and other naturalistas experimenting and learning the do's and don't's, I know my hair experience right now would be a negative one. So, Thank you!! Okay, I'm done talking. Lol!!

Val Peart: New here and I love the way you talk the truth, I always say that even when we have the same type of hair the same thing might not work for you and I. Ty for this info

Mikki ismyname: I have 4c low porosity very coarse , very dry hair! (Thanks dad ) Anyway, good old fashioned grease has been sealing my hair better than anything thus far. Also CVS has a line called Promise Organics and the conditioner makes my coarse hair feel like butta! I can go about 3 days with a twist out before having to moisturize and seal again. I've noticed that some non sulfate shampoos can be just as drying or even more so than sulfates so I have not sworn off sulfates but silicones are a no can do.

Sarah Petronella: It’s heartbreaking sometimes dealing with this hair type not gonna lie especially when all the other girls in your family have softer textures. I know God gave me this hair for a reason. He never makes mistakes. Idk it’s just sad for me sometimes because of the pain from combining. I’m easily frustrated and discouraged by the knots. Send me some help fellow 4c sisters.

sImplyCha: To be honest I'm not a big fan of how twist outs and braid outs turn out on my hair. I love the way my 4c hair looks shrunken in a puff! It's just so beautiful! I wear wigs also but I prefer to wear Afro textured hair.

Tanya Petersen: Hey, Ronke. Your hair is beautiful. Cherish the thick texture girl. To make your hair more manageable, use Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar to soften. Use it to wash your hair. Tske one part apple cider vinegar and one part olive oil. Stir mixture, heat for a few minutes and use as a shampoo and conditioner. It makes the hair grow. I love your fro.

Kimetha Patterson: I just chopped my hair off two days ago and you made me understand what I’m doing wrong. This is my third big chop

God Is Agape Love 41: Girl my comb just broke ! Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone.

Venetia: Hi! great video. I happened upon it because my thick wavy hair started to thin a couple of years ago as I get older. The best thing I learned was to be sure to "eat the oil and drink the water" as well as putting these into the hair and skin. Eating better helps overall general health but consuming the coconut oil, the olive oil, apple cider vinegar and the WATER is reversing my thinning hair (and nails) as well as setting my weight to its natural point. It does not happen overnight but one will feel results almost immediately. The mind-body connection. Peace Ps: your hair is gorgeous!

Ebube Nwamaka: My hair hates coconut oil too but is absolutely in love with olive oil and Shea butter! Which is the same with my natural hair family and friends(all 4c) I'm beginning to think there's something about 4c hair and coconut oil that doesn't quite agree lol i wish someone would look into the science of it. Love this vid! I'm gonna send it to my friend who sadly hasn't quite come to terms with what her hair can and can't do.

Tracyyy M: I have your texture of hair and is very thick as well. I think it is very sad the extreme measures we have to take to maintain this natural look of our natural hair to look presentable in society. To not give the impression we don't comb our hair because it's dry and coarse. We still have a tendency of putting different ingredients in our hair to give moisture for it to look alive whether natural or relaxed. To me..to be natural is to let the hair be in it's natural state; which is dry and coarse; and let nature take its coarse. It's not meant for us to have moistured hair. Why can't we just wear it in its natural state of being dry and coarse? Why do us as people with this hair texture need to have moisture if its not meant to be there? Sometimes I come to the conclusion I don't think this texture of hair is meant to be combed. There must be some other African remedies us American women don't know about to care for this texture of hair. One thing I do know, the SUN gives this hair all the moisture it needs in hot climate weather naturally with no problem.

Hairouna Empress: Thank you!!!!! This helped me so much I’ve been natural for years on and off but my hair grows slow and it gets dried a lot , coconut oil broke my hair off and castor oil and grape seed oil has been working so good so far I just need to figure out a way to avoid dry scalp since the oils don’t stay on my scalp any suggestions do you think jojoba oil is a good scalp oil?

Rahma Wahid: "Sprinkle coconut oil over everything." THIS IS MY GRANDMOTHER! She always always scolds me for not braiding my hair before going to bed and for not putting coconut oil in my hair every week ❤

Afrobeatx: This just gives me inspiration to transition to natural hair

Smith Ed: I have been natural all of my life and at one point my hair was longer than yours then a hairdresser's braiding style cut my hair so i chopped Even at it's healthiest i have always struggled with my hair. It's so much work and though I would never relax my hair or wear a wig, I fully respect those who do cause i don't enjoy the constant fight i have had with my Afro hair. My aunts, my mum and hairdressers' back in Tanzania have all been confused at how tough and unmanageable my hair is! Most of them have advised me to relax it, but I am a masochist :) so I plod on with my sisal "4z" cloud. I also work in a fancy law firm, so when my hair is not in braids, I find it hard to manage a professional looking Afro, as it entails a lot of work the night before, to have the perfect manicured Afro. One last thing, my hair grows ridiculously slowly which is incredibly frustrating. In any case, thank you to all the real 4c girls out there, giving us tips! God bless you all!

Jodi-.-: My hair is 3c to 4c and the struggle is so real!! I’m tired of constantly moisturizing my hair and having hurting arms. I’m a new natural and I love my natural hair but it’s a lot of work!! My hair is very very thick!! I try to look for pretty hairstyles, but I can’t even do it because it’s too damn thick! It’s like I’m waiting for my hair to grow to a specific length so it can finally hang down and “relax”. I’m just patiently waiting lol

Mitchell💜: This is going natural 101 for me thanks. I have 4c n I embrace it! Natural is easier for me. Thanks so much for this video!

janecartersolution: So happy you are loving Mist Me Over from our Curls To GO! line for your 4C curls! XOXO

Ciara Adothor: Thank you for sharing this video our hair type is very similar and I hardly ever see someone almost never with my type of hair. My hair is very hard to detangle to the point where it hurts and I just give up but I have faith that by watching you I will come up with a solution. I'm not going back to perms I've been without perms for years now and I plan to keep it that way.

itsjemmabond: You're so pretty, and I like your hair. Thanks for the tips - I have the exact same problem!

armfrosting: Ppl who are relaxed shouldn't detangle &/or start combing their hair from the root. The should start from the ends up. This is a best practice for all hair types types; this will prevent damage/breakage. Love your hair! I just went natural recently.

Abigail Clervil: hey, i have been watching ur makeup videos and came across this particular one and since i might be considering going natural, i watched it and thought it to be really informative. what i am curious about is dealing with my hair when i wash and dry it - like the best tips to use when im washing and drying my hair ( sitting under dryer or use a blow dryer) and what signs to look for when a hair product i use isn't working. Also how should i go about styling my hair when it's natural because i know i can't do box braids and conrows all the time - Thanks!

Ashley Henna: You are literally the only YouTuber I can find who has the exact hair as me...I don’t know what to use to moisturize my hair. Nothing works and I get fed up and just put it up in one all the time and I know it’s not that healthy for my hair but I don’t know how to do my hair. I can’t do my hair that well, but I am still trying tho.

Paschaline F.A.N.: This video is for me. Thanks for always helping us in all types of ways.

Laëtitia Congolese Beauty: you have the exact kind of hair as mine. you've helped me grow mine better. this video is so helpful

Chelle Weatherspoon: Yes, coconut oil dries out course hair and dark skin tones. I avoid it except for when I make soap. Your tutorial is amazing! Thank you for sharing!

Marcia Ross: I know you're primarily speaking about hair but I just want to say that your makeup is outstanding! Be well.

mimz masinga: i even gave up on combing my hair , only comb on wash day because … wow its a lot to deal with.and i feel like the less you do ,the better . my hair is growing too now

Maame Esi Eghan: I love this video. I recently chopped of my permed hair and just washed it yesterday but I almost cried my hair is extremely thick. I have three questions. How do I trim my hair, when it's wet? Also should I twist my hair before I go to sleep or is that too much for my hair? Also one side of my Afro is growing more than the other any idea how to stop that?

Shema Greene: I came across this video today. I have 4c hair, been natural for 5 1/2 years. I can’t style my hair it’s always dry. Tried so many products that make my hair more dry & shed. I don’t like braids because I’m tender headed. I love my hair but it’s so hard to manage. Ready to relax it. Thinking

Angie D: You look beautiful! I'm going to follow your haircare tips

Kerena Only: Coconut oil don't work for my 4C hair neither. Thank you so much for saying that . Actually no kind of oil works on my hair. Can you make a video on how to properly blow dry? Or how to keep hair from matting after you wash it, and let it air dry? Or how to do a stretched Afro?

Flairelle: Your eyeshadow is so well blended out. Yes to your FRO

A: My gosh, you're my hair twin. Same hair texture, but mine is denser and the shrinkage is hellish. Left alone my hair is a bit bigger than yours but straightened my hair reaches the end of my breasts. The shrinkage is also painful. I swear I feel like my hair is moving. I am at the end of a transition and I've tried going natural a pervious 3 other times. Going to try a final time with braids as a protective style. The worst thing about my hair is that it's so sensitive. It hates everything but heat (I swear I'm not lying) and it breaks easily. Wish me luck. It's tough too because in my community (Hispanic), this hair type is extremely frowned upon. So I feel like an alien because almost everyone has wavy or curly hair and they want straight and fake, over dyed hair lol.

Lone Kuwi: I wear my natural hair everyday no breakage am 4c just know what your hair like, God doesn't make mistake he gave us this kind of hair we should appreciate him and take very good care of it, just that most of us is not patient with our hair or we don't have the time to take care of it to me we have the best hair so far ❤️❤️.

LadyCMitchell13: What you said about 4C natural hair is 100% correct. You cannot comb your hair from the root out. The comb will not even pass through the hair. 4C hair is so much work I tried detanglers hair mayonnaise. Every stylist that has ever done my hair always complains and say that is unmanageable. I just wear braids and switch hair salons every so many months. That's all I know how to do.

Katie S: She’s sooo pretty ohmghee. It feel’s so good to see a natural hair women wear a fro that looks like mine . This makes my heart warm

Jodi Fabulousss: Sometimes I get so fed up with my hair I just throw a wig on.

Dahlya W: You are the FIRST person with my EXACT hair thank you so much!!!!

Keneisha Brown: my hair is 4b..it's thick and high in porosity.. whenever i try to prep it for a style it ends us being a tangled painful mess. I THINK that i should use heat to strecth my hair rather than non-heat methods.. it really hurts (physically and emotionally)

BklynBabe: I kinda wish I had thick hair, but not really tho, lol. My struggle is I have too many curl patterns and textures. Also I am lazy, and I like quick wngs and that is all. No protective styles, no complicated rituals. I actually find my hair easy to deal with because I know what it likes. Lots of water, conditioner, and frequent deep conditioning. You really do have to learn your own hair instead of listening to all the myths out there.

AyvrialMarmey: I have a lot of slightly wavy, medium thickness hair and girl even I can't get a wide tooth comb through my hair, wet or dry. It appals me when people comb or brush their hair from root to tip. I just wanna mourn for their hair when I see it also the number of brushes and combs I've sent to the grave is atrocious.

Chide lovesyou: you are so beautiful

TheFactsAccordingToGabbie1791: OMG! I'm sooo glad I find/seen this video. That part at 5:52 is exactly how my ends be and I thought maybe it's damage ends and was going to cut it but....I remember I did that before but my end went right back to it I can't run my hands down the end of my hair or with a comb. I wish my MOTHER understand that part at 5:50-6:45 not only would she make it easier for us both( we be fussing at each other I hate how she handle my hair)but won't mind doing my natural hair when I ask. SHE REALLY BE COMBING MY HAIR LIKE ITS PERM HAIR(like hers) PLUS I DONT THINK MY HAIR LIKE COCONUT OIL EITHER I guess I'll it on my face as a moisturize is gives you a nice glow

CocoaBananas23: Thank you for saying that! I have said this a few times in comments of other videos telling people to just leave your 4C hair alone sometimes! You dont have to do twist outs all the damn time, let it do what it naturally does STOP TRYING TO MAKE IT DO SHIT IT DOESNT WANT TO DO or trying to make it look like 3b hair. Mofos were telling me "we can do twist outs, how we cant"? I never said they couldnt and one bird said "who wants to wear a fro?" Im was like im done lol. And they wonder why their hair wont grow... all that damn manipulation and hair hate and less TLC.

Mya Marie: Finally someone with actual course hair!

꧁ Orlando Cruz ꧂: Well I hate my 3C and 3B hair. I wished I had straight hair. I yell at my hair and gel it into submission so it looks as straight as possible. It’s how I feel and I need to be honest with myself.

Sammie: How can I stop my hair from breaking ? It seems like every time i comb my hair it sheds . What should I do to stop the shedding ?

Helia Sikanda: Ooops, your hair is just the same as mine.I believe I can now have solutions to my hair too.Keep on sharing those helpful tips,God bless you.

CocoaBananas23: I love your hair and your makeup is bomb! Im jealous tho bc I dont know if its bc my hair has gotten longer, not as thick or bc I have a looser texture (but 4a/b isnt a big difference) but I CAN NEVER GET MY FRO RIGHT. Maybe bc im doing some wrong but I try to add a little water to shrink it a little to a fro but then I start adding so much water that its fucked up.

Nengi Hyacinth: Girl!!! I'm here for your flawless makeup.

LeShea White: Yay, I'm glad to see someone with hair like me

Sori Yazz: People can say what they want.. I made the comment a while ago that I'm over natural hair..'m still natural have been for a long time but natural hair takes a lot of time. I am in the process of dying mine from FireRed yes ladies & it was hawt now I'm going Back to Black.... talk about why Naturals get pissed if you don't want to be natural anymore. Has nothing to do with self-hate

Suhmara.: I have the same hair as you and I’m VERY tender headed and when ever my mom leaves my hair out in a big puff for 3 days my hair gets hard

Jessica C: YOU HAVE MY HAIR! -:) Can you do a video on how to take care of our hair if we don’t know to braid or do twists? I do my hair with gel and a high puff everyday and I don’t want my hair to start shifting or something like I’ve heard. Salons take up too much of my money

Searelle Polk: You should be happy that your hair is thick it's beautiful love your hair

Blue kisses: I've broke many of Combs and brushes and I broke the brush off of my blow dryer it's real out here in these streets... after 12 years of natural hair I didn't break anything anymore

Aaliyah Da'Shielle: This helped. I have different curl patterns (4a,b & c ) its weird most of it is like 4a and c & i have thick hair so its hard to comb my hair w/o breaking the comb or harming my hair

Random Reine: I’m transitioning and my natural hair is so hard and painful, it hurts when I comb and I need help because I can barely take care of it

Estelle: I recommend using thread especially on 4c hair. I’m telling it makes a difference. I’ve seen a difference in my hair and I have 4c hair

MARIAM ANGELA: this was my hair... I got tired of it that I had to put relaxer. now I regret my action and I haven't put relaxer in 3 months now. I can't even comb the hair from root. It's so hard and coarse. I'm going to cut the relaxed part off by next month and start over again. I'll love to know the type of natural hair products I should go for. I haven't watched the video to the end though

THC: My hair type. Passes afro Comb in the same exact spot 50 times. And still sounds like firecrackers. Even when soaked.

💕 Pink: Girl I have been asleep on you.. I found your channel over the weekend and I have watched sooo many videos... I love it... You are awesome

♉️Angel RaSheena 👑: I’m so in love… I swear you got my entire head of hair

Anna Mitchell: I love how your so honest everyone hair is different try different product I been natural for nine months and I used so many different product but I seeing hair growth.

Ejekwolu Chinweotuto: I just recently big chopped my hair, its really low and I'm looking to grow a healthy full head of hair but I've never really had soft hair before and I'm wondering if there's a remedy to this, also I make sure to moisturize and oily hair everyday but soon after the water is gone it always feels or makes this squishy sound when touched, what could this signify??

MustardSeedFaith 0000: You are my hair twin organic shea butter works for me too. The change I spent to find that out

Breezy Bre: Your hair is so pretty!!! Love the shape too

Chizzy Grace: Pls a tutorial on this look is all I want! your lip colour is gorg!

Mena Robinson: Thank you for the video. I am almost positive you and I have the exact type hair. Cant wait for part 2. Need info on moisture retention please.

ISLANDGURL: I am tender headed so wearing my hair natural is a struggle and being tender headed since a kid to now doesn't help.

Islamia Zakaria: I have literally ruined my hair with relaxer. I know that stuff is really helpful for a month and two and you can do anything you want with your hair then but then after them months are over hell start all over again. I won't know how to recover my damaged hair

Paula G: Nice video, very informative. Please what tool gives you the best detangling process? And how do you trim your hair? In it's natural state, blow dried or straighten?

jaya🤍: I've been looking for someone who's hair is just like mine. Finally I found someone

L Harris: girl your hair is my hair and my hair is yours :) (Whitney remix lol).......you just described it to the T. i'm a new natural, i am a comb destroyer.

Zoe Patience: My hair grows very fast but wooo the texture. Even after blow drying it stays curled and dry.
