What'S up guys today, I'm gon na be doing a twist out and celebration of melon and haircare shipping, their pre-orders, I'm so excited for you guys to finally receive all the products start to play with them, and so I figured on this snowy day where I'm not Gon na be leaving the house, this is actually the perfect opportunity to show you a twist up on wet hair, which is different from a lot of the promo photos that you guys have been seeing. That'S I'm blowing out here. I just want to show you guys, like different ways that you can use the product. I'Ve already shown how this product works on a washing go, and I've also shown how I use it on my daughter's hair. So all those videos will be linked in the description box for you, yeah, let's just get into it, I'm so excited you guys we shipped so I washed and conditioned my hair already and then also twisted it with a leave-in. So now all I have to do is apply the product I like to wash my hair in sections, which is why you see this little bantu knots, so I'm actually just gon na leave them in these sections, because it's pretty convenient - and I also did detangle with My hair, I'm going to be using our two signature products, the twist along gating style, cream and the multi-use pure oil blend, and obviously you guys can use these. However, you like, I just want to show you guys how I use it on my hair and I do feel like I have high porosity hair. I haven't done an actual porosity check on my hair, but just the way that it acts to products how it loses. Moisture very quickly, which is why I like to use both products in tandem, because I definitely was the word compliment each other. I'M gon na actually take a generous amount of product, and the good thing about the twist along gating style cream is that you can use as little or as much as you like, and it works really well, because it's so buildable for many different hair types. I like to use a pretty generous amount depending on what style, I'm doing I'll add you know more or less. I just like to work it in I'm gon na actually grab a little bit more and I'm gon na focus this on my ends, just to make sure the moisture is really sealed. In there nicely, I'm just gon na use my finger to detangle a little bit more as I work in so your hair is gon na soak up the twist elongating style cream pretty quickly. So when you apply it, you want to kind of move fast. Next we have, I did not take. It - was a brand-new bottle of oil, just kidding yeah next time I take the multi use of pure oil blend, just squeeze a little bit of that into your hand. With this, I like to start off with just a little bit and then work my way up as I need it, because it isn't oil and you don't want to add too much before I formulated the multi-use pure oil blend. I would really only apply oil in the shower and then I would always rinse it out to get like that greasy residue off, but what I love about our pure oil blend is that you don't have to rinse off, because it's a greaseless formula just add. You know a little bit and then work your way up if you need a little bit more. So I added about two servings of that and you can see my hair is nice and defined. If I just did a regular two strand twist, I would kind of get like a wash and go texture, which I I kind of want more of a twist out texture. So I'm going to do a flat twist. It'S Sunday, I'm exhausted, I'm not gon na lie. I'M super tired, but I am so excited the pre-orders have started shipping and they actually started shipping out. Last week we saw that some people are actually receiving their items already, so we definitely want to make sure that we get the tutorials out for you guys. Just so you guys can have like an idea of how we like to use the product. We are so excited to just see the results on you guys, and hopefully you guys love the product as much as we do, and we definitely want to hear you know all of your feedback see are all your results, so you know after you create your Styles. Be sure to send it to us on social media, you can hashtag melanin, haircare, hashtag melanin Bay and we'll be able to find it that way. I really like to just add a little bit more towards my ends. Just to you know, make sure everything is nice and coated feeling good. The multi-use, pure oil blend helps seal the moisture in even more. It just adds a second layer of sealant for the twist and cream. It also helps to like soften the hair. I just love adding it to my hair because it just calms my hair down. Everything just feels super soft and smooth and supple, and just a really nice feeling all right. So I'm getting down to the ends here, give it a Twitter all with my finger. Go ahead and add some of this I'd like to waste mm-hm, but for now I'm gon na wrap it back into a Bantu nut to keep it nice and taut. Until I can stretch it now, I'm gon na repeat the same thing start with a little bit and then you know figure out for your own hair, what's best a little bit more towards the roots, so the good thing about the twisting cream. It'S really great for like braid outs and twist outs, which is why that's why we marketed it for that, it's really great in helping to walk in that twisting texture like once, you braid your hair together twist it together and kind of lock it in a new Form, it's really great at holding that new form, it's definitely a great styler. What you guys will see - and we didn't went through so many iterations of it - to make sure that it performed well, but also to make sure that it was. You know good for your hair, there's five high quality butters in this formula and also many different nutrients. My favorite word, so my hair has pretty much soaked up all the product. As you can see, I really want to make sure that can compact all this frizz down here, so I'm just adding a little bit more on the ends and then smoothing the hair with my fingers. The twisting cream and oil is also really great for protective styles. Just keeping your hair hydrated if you're doing twists or braids like long term styles, my sister likes to keep her hair and protective styles for a longer term than I would so a lot of times. She'Ll keep her hair and twist throughout the entire week. Sometimes you in two weeks and then when she finally takes a twist out. It'S like she just styled her hair. It'S amazing and you guys can see that in my braids up video on Instagram, okay, I'm gon na stop talking and I will come back to you. Okay, so all of my sections are flat twisted and admittedly I might have used a little more twisting cream than normal, because I usually don't have this much weight output, but I got a looks like it's gon na dry, fine. So anyway, I'm going to go one twist at a time I'm gon na tighten the twist so that the pattern is nice and defined stretch it around my head and then hit it in place with a bobby pin, try not to pull too tight. Just pull nice and gentle so that it's comfortable and I'm just gon na repeat this on all six sections on my head, because my hair is soaking wet. I'M gon na try and space these out a little bit so that they can dry evenly and quickly because I'm not gon na be sitting under a hooded dryer to dry. This, I'm gon na actually just air dry this over all right. So all of the twists are stretched. I'M going to grab this just old blue satin scarf. We really need to make some melanin hair care of satin scarves and wrap your twist for bed and that's it I'm gon na. Let them air dry overnight, all right! So that's it! I will be back with the results tomorrow: sup guys, full disclosure. My hair took two days to dry. I definitely want a little him on the product. I wanted to show you how buildable it was. I probably took it too far trying to show off the more you build the longer it is gon na take for your hair to dry, because there are moisturizing properties. I wasn't thinking about that. I was just like it's very buildable guys, though I guess lesson learned now we're going to release the twists. I really like my makeup today. Of course, I didn't record it. I only record my struggle makeup, not my good stuff, isn't that how it always goes y'all. What I love about our twist elongating style cream is that your hair doesn't feel greasy at all. It just feels like moisturize hair when you take it out, you'll notice that you guys, I don't know if you ever use like a twisting cream, has a greasy residue, especially if you use too much. Ours is not that way. I just moisturize and soaks into the hair to help it feel naturally conditioned no grease, no oil, okay, just a little bit. I love this product. You guys come on and look it's not. You know it's not a miracle product every product has its positives and negatives. I'M just really proud of how beautifully it defines your twist outs and braid outs, or just to keep your long-term twists and braids nice and neat. That was really the main goal with the product and it does such a great job with shaking it up. I understand it was struggle, but I'm glad you kept to your vision because it shows in how the cream performs. It was meant for you to have your own company. Simple Eye: Glad you mentioned you likely have high porosity hair. I was thinking so since it does so well with aloe juice and thick/multiple products. You have beautiful, wonderful hair! Goes to show that high porosity does not mean unmanageable or damaged hair! I have low porosity hair that hates heavy products, but it loves the great creative methods of styling and general management you offer to viewers. Keep up the great work Whitney! My hair is shiny still and my curls are popping as though it were a wash and go. Don't change anything! ❤ P.S.- this is on hair that was soaking wet to start and still damp when I took out the twists and with only 4 twists. I'm sure I would have better results on smaller twists but I'm not about that life lol
