Hey everyone in today's video i'm going to be sharing with you, some simple tips on how i keep my hair, moisturized and soft. So let's jump right into the video, so the first tip that i have for you guys. I frequently moisturize my hair, that's anywhere from two to three times a week. It all depends on how dry my hair is during that week. Sometimes i can get away with moisturizing it two times a week or two weeks. I may have to moisturize it three times. So my wash days are usually on the weekend, maybe a saturday or a sunday. It all depends, but it always falls on a weekend and whenever i wash my hair that would be considered day one of me moisturizing my hair. Then i would go like midweek summer. Maybe wednesday or thursday to re-moisturize my hair, so i'm very consistent with keeping my hair moisturized also, i do not wait until my hair is like completely dry and brittle to moisturize it. I moisturize it before i get to that point and by me keeping my hair moisturized before i get to that point where it's so dry and brittle. It retains the moisture a lot better. I'Ve been doing this since i baked up my hair. This september is going to make me two years since i was natural, so yeah, so this is something i've been consistently doing to my hair, i find that when i consistently moisturize my hair, my hair grows really well because it's not breaking due to it being dry. Also when it comes to moisturizing my hair, i like to use a water-based cream to moisturize my hair and i like to use the cream of nature, coconut milk curd repair leaving. This is my favorite cream that i like to use. You guys know that i use this in all of my videos if you watch any of my hair videos, but this right here i love it. It keeps my hair very soft. It keeps my hair very moisturized and plus it smells good. I love the way it smells and yeah, so this is a staple. For me this is practically md. I use this up a lot. I use it on my hair and my girl's hair as well, so i love using this stuff y'all. So i'm just going to take a little bit of that cream about that. Much rub it in my hands and then apply to my hair, and i'm just going to be gentle and just slide it down the length of my hair, ensuring that i'm getting all of my hair coated with the product. Okay and then i just like to go in and apply just a little bit more to my ends, because you know the ends are the oldest part, and i just like to make sure that my ends are nice and moisturized and coated with the cream. So the third tip that i have for you guys i like to layer my products, so i would first spritz my hair with water and by the way this is distilled water. In my bottle, i don't use tap water. I find that when i used to use tap water on my hair throughout the week it just made my hair dry, so i started just using distilled water in my bottle. So first i would lightly spritz my hair with distilled water. Then i would go in with my hair cream and then i will go in and seal in with my oil, which is extra virgin olive oil. So this is the brand that i'm currently using right now, and i just pour this into my bottle so by layering. My hair, it keeps my hair very soft and manageable and, as you can tell from the way i layer my products, i'm doing the lco method, which is the liquid cream oil. So my distilled water will be my l, which is my liquid and then the c will be my hair cream, which is my curl repair, leave-in cream, and then the o would be my extra virgin olive oil that i have here so layering your product just helps That moisture to last a lot longer in your hair. So once i'm done applying the products to my hair and i work that in really well, i'm just going to twist it up. I'M going to take this one down, i'm going to do the same thing. So i'm just going to take my distilled water and lightly mist my hair and i'm not like having it soaking wet it's just lightly misting it just like. I said water is going to be your moisturizer and then once i have applied my water, then i go in with my hair cream now another tip that i have for you guys when trying to keep your hair, moisturized and soft. You want to make sure that you are adding enough product to your hair. Now, for this section i use about this much starting off. Hopefully, you guys can see that i use about this much starting off, so i make sure that i add enough product to my hair. I like to make sure that my hair is coated properly with the cream and, if i need to add more product, i go in and add more product. It all depends on how my hair feels so make sure that you're, taking your time when you're moisturizing your hair, see how your hair feels. If your hair is so dry, spritz it with a little water and add a bit more cream to your hair. And then you can go from there, don't rush through the step, make sure you set a few minutes aside to moisturize your hair, and i make sure, like i said about 15-20 minutes, just to give my hair the moisture that it needs. Okay, now that i'm done with applying the cream, i'm gon na go in with my extra virgin olive oil just add a little bit of oil to your hands. You don't want your hair to feel super oily, so i'm just gon na work that through and smooth it down. So, as you guys can see, i am just smoothing the product through my hair, i'm doing like the prey enhanced method, just smoothing it through my hair making sure i don't forget my ends and of course, once i'm done, i twist it up. You also yeah. This is all i do to keep my hair, moisturized and soft. Like i said this technique, i do anywhere from two to three times a week. This week in particular, i only had to moisturize my hair twice, so i moisturized my hair the day that i washed it and then today, which is thursday, so i'm re-moisturizing my hair thursday. Let'S see this twist is looking good, it's nice and moisturized and juicy so another tip guys. I deep condition my hair weekly. So that's something that i am consistent with every time i wash my hair. I deep condition it and i also use heat because i do have low porosity hair and i find that using heat on my low porosity hair. It helps my hair to maintain the moisture better. It softens my hair and it also makes my hair a lot more manageable. So using the heat on my hair is very beneficial and my hair loves it. I'M just going to work this in really really good y'all and my hair is doing so good y'all. Like look at this, i am so proud of my hair y'all, this september 17th, no september 9th, so this september 9th is going to make me two years since my big job y'all and like your girl hair, is growing man like look at this. It is doing so good y'all and i'm so proud of it, and it's due to me one being consistent with my wash day routine and also making sure that i am consistent with moisturizing my hair, i'm telling y'all moisturizing your hair is going to help. You retain a lot of length because your hair is not breaking due to it being dry, so i'm going to finish up moisturize my hair and i'll be back when it's all done and i'm just going to share some more tips and motivation for you guys. So, okay, also i'm all done with moisturizing, my hair, which was a very super, easy routine that i like to do so. My hair is feeling good. It'S looking good. My twists are nice and juicy honey. Look. These are nice and juicy they're, nice and moisturized, and they feel awesome. So i just want to leave you with this last thing. Guys always remember that our natural hair is naturally dry, so we have to constantly put that moisture back into our hair. This has been like one of the key reasons why my hair has been growing really well, i'm keeping it moisturized and i'm being consistent with my wash day routine. So if you guys would like to see more videos on how i moisturize my hair and my wash day routine and all of that stuff, you can check out my playlist.
