Moisturizer:

Hey girl, hey welcome back to another toddler, hairstyle video, so i posted a video a while back, showing you girls, just really cute protective hairstyles, that you can do on your baby or toddler and that video did really well. So i decided to do another video focusing in on this protective hairstyle, so if you're interested in how i did this hairstyle then keep on watching. Okay. So i wanted to include a clip of me washing her hair because i feel like it can be useful, especially for you, girls who may have questions in regards to what i'm using and what i'm doing to grow ari's hair. So i love the camille rose product line and i also love using aloe vera on her hair. So when it comes to detangling her hair, i like to first start off with sectioning her hair into fours and then going in with water to help with the detangling process. So when you are detangling natural hair, you definitely do not want to just go in with the calm start combing, because it's going to cause breakage and damage to the hair, and it's going to hurt your baby so definitely make sure you use some sort of detangling Spray, your product, or just simply water, to help you detangle your child's hair. Okay. So now that i have ari's, hair sectioned and detangled, i'm going to go in with a aloe vera leaf, i love using aloe vera. I use it on my own hair and i love to use aloe vera at least twice a month on ari's hair. So here i am just simply punching like little holes into the aloe vera, just to get the juice and all that stuff activated. And then i'm going to apply directly to her hair and see how it's easy for me to part her hair without using a comb. The aloe vera is great for detangling, adding, moisture and also producing hair growth. So i'm going to continue this process until it's time to shampoo. So i don't leave the aloe vera in like a specific length of time, but i do just make sure i detangle the hair pretty good and then i move on to conditioning or cleaning the hair. Again, using the camille rose cleansing shampoo. I love this entire line. I have seen such a difference with our hair when it comes to the texture, the fullness, the softness, the moisture that's being retained, like this product line, is so amazing. I also use it for my own natural hair. Now, i'm not even gon na hold y'all. This product line is on the expensive side and you don't get a lot of product, but i will say a little bit goes a long way and i have no complaints about the product itself. I do wish it was a little bit more affordable and i do wish that you would get a lot more for what you're paying. But again the product line is really good and it definitely helps with providing moisture to the hair and locking in that moisture. So anyways now i am simply rinsing out the shampoo and i'm about to move in with the cantu shea butter deep treatment mask. Basically, this mask helps with giving like a lot of moisture and just making her hair super soft. Now i do leave this in for about five to ten minutes. I would like to do it longer, but most of the time her wash routine is done during bath time. So yeah we get it in like this. So anyways i'm just going to section off her hair and just apply the mask directly onto her hair and scalp, and just massage that in and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Okay. So now that the mask has set for about five to ten minutes, i am now going to go in and just make sure every strand has the mask on it make sure the comb goes through the hair with no problem, so basically just detangling, and i like To do this with a wide tooth comb again going into sections and then working the product through the hair like so okay, so now it is time to rinse out that treatment. Now this pink headband thing that i got what i'm about to place on ari's head is from amazon and i've been using this, since she was a baby actually to just help: um the water, not getting her eyes or her ears and just make her. You know uncomfortable during the washing process, so i actually love this. It has definitely helped with allowing her to be comfortable and enjoy her hair wash day routine. So i'll make sure i put the link below or in this video, if you, girls or guys, want to purchase this for your little one's hair. So yeah i'm going to go in with some water and just rinse out the conditioner, and then we're going to follow up with the camille rose, leave-in conditioner and then i'll be back with the styling okay girl. So this is ari's hair the next day. Now, if you girls, want to see how i style her hair um on the wash day i'll put that video link below or somewhere in this video, because i do like to section her hair and just twist it to lock in the moisture. So for today's style. I am going to be parting, her hair in several sections, and i definitely want to make sure her. Scalp is greased and you know just ready for the protective hairstyle now. The grease that i am applying to her scalp is a combination of different hair growth products and oils i'll make sure i leave the description to what i mix her hair growth, grease with in the description bar so anyways. I place that directly on her scalp and for this particular style, i'm going to section her hair off into twos, so just a straight part down the middle of her head and then i'm going to start making like small triangles now your triangles could be bigger or Smaller, just depending on the thickness or fullness of your baby's hair and how much time you have honestly mine wasn't supposed to be this small, but girl is whatever so for those of you who may be new to my channel, or this is your first time seeing Me style my baby girl's hair. One thing about ari: is she loves to get her hair done, she's, never cried or like had a tantrum that she has to get her hair done. So i am very lucky to have a girl that enjoys getting her hair done. So i am basically detangling her hair with just water, and then i'm going in with the camille rose, hair, moisturizer and applying that directly on her hair, and i do this throughout the entire style to time to so. This is what the style looks like with all of the little triangles now again, keep in mind, your triangle could be bigger or smaller, just depending on the length and the thickness of your baby's hair. Now remember, the middle part is your base to getting these small perfect triangles. So next we're going to move on to twisting her ends and applying the beads these beads, i picked up at my local beauty, supply store and i'm quite sure you can find these beads from your local beauty, supply, store or walmart. So this pink thing i have here is a beater. Now there are several ways that you can apply beads to your hair, but this is the easiest way for me, and i did pick this up. My local beauty supply store, so i'm going to be using four beads and i'm going to basically stack this on top of the beader okay. So i'm going to try to explain how to do this so basically open the beader up, put the ends inside of the beader and push the beads all the way up, so that you have the ends of the hair hanging out of the beads. Now i did take one bead off because i feel, like three looks better. Instead of five yeah, i had five. I don't know why i said four so anyways i'm taking a rubber band and i am simply going around that bead um to just create like a little small knot. Now i do have her ends like wrapped around the bead. As you can see, so i'm going to continue doing this so that you girls can watch and learn just in case you don't know how to apply beads. So our ends is pretty thick. So there's a couple of things i do to smooth out her ends. I first go in with water to make sure the hair is saturated before detangling, then i go in with the wide tooth comb to detangle, and then i follow up with the small tooth comb. Now you want to be very careful when you are using a small tooth comb, because you can definitely pull your baby's hair out and we don't want that. So i am actually gently detangling, her hair with this small tooth comb, making sure the hair is saturated and i have enough slip. So i'm just working my way from the roots to the ends, and i'm going to also show you girls, that there is no hair in this comb when doing it. This way you just have to be gentle, and you have to make sure the hair has enough slip to go through the comb and if i notice that the hair is getting stuck in the comb, what i'll do is i'll go back and apply a little bit More water or a little bit more detangling spray to help me be able to comb through her hair like this and not have any hair in the comb, as you can see so i did want to make sure i mentioned that you can use a small tooth Comb on the ends, but you need to be very careful and make sure the hair is moisturized and has a good amount of slip also with using a small comb. It'S going to allow your baby's hair to stretch so you're, going to get more length out of the hair. If you use a small tooth comb at least that's what i have experienced with arya's hair, so yeah i did apply, the camille rose twisting butter. I thought i showed that in this video, but i don't think i showed the container but anyways. I use that on her ends to make sure her ends is moisturized, and then i follow up with the beads the same exact way that i showed you guys on that first twist. That'S done so i'm just going to continue doing this style and i'll be back to show you girls, the final results - and this is the final look of this protective hairstyle. Her hair is moisturized and ready for the week.
