Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so in today's video I'm going to show you guys really two things and one: I'm gon na show you how to get the perfect twist out, slash braid out you'll, see in the video as well as I'm gon na teach. You how to stretch out 4c hair, because my hair will get bigger as the day's progress because of the braid twist down telling you already. So, if you like to see how I get my hair to look like this, then just keep on watching now. For the moment, we've all been waiting for do what I do to my hair, how I stretch out my hair, everybody and they mama - wants to know how I do my hair. How stretch on my hair, how I go from my hair, being this short to being like huge? Well, not that huge, but huge, so in this video, I'm gon na show you how to do it. So the first step you want to shampoo and condition your hair and, as you can see, I've already done that cuz you can see the water is still in my hair. You want to make sure that when you start doing this style, that your hair is dripping, whit's not damp, not just a little wet but dripping wet meaning when you get done shampooing and conditioning your hair and you normally put the towel on, you might leave the Towel on for 10 minutes, you ain't doing it with this look. You only need to leave it on there for maybe a minute at the most, because you want all of them moisture this year here. If you have 4c hair, you know that water is pretty much. The number one thing that your hair loves - I wouldn't even say number one thing - that your hair likes number one thing that your hair loves. If you have 4c hair or other hair types, your hair loves water. So you don't want to eliminate all the water and then try to put products on it, because you want to seal in that water moisture with your styling cream. With that in mind, if your hair dries very quickly like mine, you want to make sure that you have a spray bottle with you in this spray bottle. You want warm water now. If you live in an area that has hard water, then I would recommend you putting bottled water into a microwavable cup and then transfer it into this container, because you want to make sure that you have warm water, because warm water penetrates the strands a lot better Than cold water does so because I've kind of been talking for a little while I'm gon na go ahead and spray. My hair again with this spray bottle now with spraying my hair, I'm also going to take the spray bottle and get in the roots a little bit. So I'm going to do this all over my head just make sure that my entire head is Witte and then I go out and then spray the entire head. Okay, now that we've gotten bats whoo, you definitely can put a towel around your neck. If you don't want the water falling down all over you, but make sure that it's not super close to your hair, because you don't want the child to break off your hair, I did not use this. That'S nothing. I should say I did not use this towel to death. With my hair, I used a t-shirt, but I'm using the towel to catch the water. That'S dripping down my body because I need to take a shower. The next thing that you want to do is take your styling product. Now I currently use the can coconut curling cream because it's working for now, so I take this and you're going to want to take a really decent amount of this product so get in there. You once about 4 tablespoons of this product. You can kind of see it when I turn my hand this way, but you want about 4 tablespoons, meaning a lot of this product like a huge amount, and then you want to apply this all over your hair kind of want to work it into the roots. As well, you don't want to neglect your roots once you've applied that product, you typically can get rid of the towel, because the product kind of locks in the water from dripping down your hair. You may have a few stragglers, but this pretty much gets the most of it, so we just want to work that products into our hair kind of halfway. You don't really have to spend a whole lot of time, just working it into the hair. Now you want to section off your first section so, depending on the thickness of your hair, you either want to inch sections or three inch sections. If you can't visualize two and three inches in reference to like me, then here's kind of an idea of how big you want the sections to be about that wide. If you have thicker hair about this wide, if you have thinner hair, so you want to section off about that much two inch sections and I'm gon na clip up this, so you guys can see once you've gotten that part section off. You want to take your wide tooth. Comb start at the ends of your hair and work up the section you never want to start at the base and calm down, because your hair, if you have curly hair, you would just rip out a lot of your hair. If you started from the top and went to the bottom, you don't wan na do that. So I want to talk about the importance of combing, your each individual section. I know a lot of people don't like to comb their hair eyes wet, but what happens is when you're combing it out you're, making sure that each strand is going in the same direction. So if you have curly hair, it gets caught like this. So by combing it it flattens it and all the hairs will be going in the same direction so that your hair is very defined. So it helps with the definition process. So once we've gotten that section comb doubts we're going to add about two tablespoons of product. This time so half of what we did on our whole head and a way to know that you have enough product, is it's gon na sound juicy if it doesn't? If you can't hear the product in each section when you go like this, that's not enough! So now we're going to start at the base of our head and separate into three different sections. So we have one, then we have two in the center and then we have three then we're going to get as close as we can to the base of this section to create this braid. So, at the very top, as close as you can get to your scalp, we're going to braid it about a third of the way down. Okay, so once we've gotten to this parts, we're going to separate the center straight down the middle and add it's above sides just like that, and then you twist and there you go, you got your first twist yeah all right. Let'S do it again and make sure you twist all the way down to the ends and remember if your sections start to get dry, you want to re with them and I'm gon na. Let you guys in on a little secret the part that matters most, that you get it super uniform are the edges. You can kind of slack up in the center just a little bit. I want to say really quick. They sometimes I put on the product first and then come or come first then put on the product. It doesn't matter at what point that you do it. You just want to make sure you do it before you do the twist. So I'm done with my twist and the product will dry up when the hair dries. So don't worry about that. Don'T let the way that it looks now scare you into not putting enough product because that's that's one of my mistakes in the past is that I would see people do their twist like this, and I didn't understand just how much product it means when you have When you're a twist look like this, so I never put enough product so just make sure that you're putting enough product to where it looks like this. Another thing that I wanted to make sure that I mentioned to you guys is the main point of this video that I didn't even mention the braid and then a twist at the end. Really is what helps your hair stretch out. So don't just do a full twist out or full bright out. I really just feel like the mixture of the two is like the perfect recipe of stretching out 4c hair do part braids and parts twist. You will. Thank me. I hope now. The next part that I like to do for my twist out put a roller on the end of it. I used to use perm rods, the pink mixture of the pink ones and the blue ones, but, as you can see, you can still see it on this. Blue and it takes out my hair, and I really think it's because of the grips that are on these rods. You can see the little dots on the rollers and I think that it grips my hair and breaks it off, so it was breaking off my aunt's. I think so I now use flexi rods, so you a mixture of the seafoam, green and the lavender. Now I don't know the actual dimension of these, but I really think the color of flexi rods are universal, meaning wherever you go, this color will be the same size everywhere, like everybody supply store. I think so. Just look for this color and I'm sure it'll be the same dimension, so I'm going to apply the flexi rod the same way that I do in my flexi rod tutorial. I wrap maybe a few centimeters of the ends around the flexi rod. First and then I roll up my hair up the shaft of the flexi rod to make sure the whole section is flat across the flexi rod, and then I just lock in the ends, and these aren't uncomfortable to sleep in for me. If you have a more sensitive scalp, maybe, but for me I can sleep in these just fine, okay, that, like excessive space above me, was really driving me crazy anyway. So we're done now. If I counted correctly, I have 18 twists in my entire hit Swiss / braids. Another thing is that I'm going to kind of let my hair air dry freely and then, as it gets closer to the time that I need to go to sleep, I'm put on my silk scarf. You definitely want to sleep in a silk scarf or something that mimics silk. If you have not your hair, just to make sure all the moisture stays in your hair, the last thing, that's very very important is that you want to make sure that it dries completely. No damp sections and the reason why I'm saying this so aggressively is because I'm trying to beat that into my head. I don't know how many times that I'm just like. Oh it's, okay, I'm gon na take down my hair. It'S just one little section! That'S damn! Okay, when that one little section is down that one section is gon na be frizzy when it dries outside of the sit nice of this, so do not take down your hair until it is tri all the way. Okay, you want to let it sit like this. For at least 24 hours, so I recommend you do this on the weekend or on a day when you don't have anything to do so. Yeah keep on watching to see the final result and I'm gon na show you guys how I shake it out and all of that and how I get it to look flat. So yeah just keep on watching. So it's been 24 hours and now I'm gon na do the big reveal on my hair. So I'm just gon na take down all the flexi rods. First, now I'm going to go in with my grapeseed oil. You can use whatever oil that you prefer to use on your hair, but I, like grapeseed oil, cause, it's a thinner oil and it adds a lot of shine to my hair. I'M just gon na add a little bit to my hand, just a little amount. That was probably a little too much and then I'm just gon na add it to all of the twists before I take them down just so, I don't create too much freeze, while I'm taking them down we're really just working in each section and the edges. Alright, now we're going to take down the twist and you want to start from the very ends: do not comb your hair, just separate the Swiss and the braid very lightly. You want to be careful with this step, and then you have this and just leave it like that. Until you finish, taking down your whole head, I've taken down all of the braid slash twists, and now you want to massage your scalp to get rid of the parts from all the twists that you do. You want to massage your scalp to get rid of those. First, and if you feel like your hands, are too dry at any point during this or at any point during like taking down the bracelet twist, then just take a little bit more just a little bit, not as much as you used when you first started. Taking down the twists, slash, braids and then just coat your hands, you can even go all across the back here and it's kind of like you're putting on lotion and then just go in all right and then once I've gotten rid of all of the sections. Then I kind of go in and separate some more because I want to make my hair bigger and less like so defined, and this you want to go slow it okay guys. So this is the finished look of my twist out. My hair will continue to get bigger as the day's progressed, because I do retwist Ari bracelet twists, on top of this twist out to preserve it for two weeks. That'S how long I wear this style usually depending so I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Don'T forget to subscribe and thumbs up this video, and I promise I'll see you guys next time, bye, guys
