Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so I'm starting on freshly washed hair and deep conditioned click. The link to see my deep conditioning routine., I'm just going to go ahead and use this cotton t-shirt to take out the excess water. I'M parting, my hair into two sections so that it's easier to apply product and easier for me to blow dry. I'm using this, as i am leave in conditioner, because it's going to be very light weight on my hair but moisturizing.. If you don't want your hair to be weighed down once you flat iron it, then you need to make sure that you use very light products. Next, I'm going to comb all of the product through so that its evenly distributed and I'm using my favorite argan oil By pur, 365 click the link to see where I got it, so you can get it too., I'm just going to use a couple of pumps to seal in the moisture. And i'm using my favorite kiehls heat protectant. This is what gets my hair sleek and straight you guys.. A little does go a very long way, so you only need about this much just to coat one half of your hair.. Now this is an oldie but a goodie, the tresemme thermal creations heat protectant.. I'M going to use that to add some extra protection to my ends because, let's face it, who doesn't need extra protection., I'm using my hot tools blow dryer on a high speed, high heat setting along with my favorite paddle brush, and this has seen a lot guys.. So I'm using them both together, and this really helps to get my roots very straight, and it does help evenly distribute all of that. Heat.. Now that I've completed the other side, I'm just going to go through with a wide tooth comb and just put a shot of heat on all of my hair to make sure its all dry, because you never know.. I'M taking a little bit more of my kiehls silk straightening heat protectant to add to my ends and I'm going to start off by sectioning off a little bit of hair in the back.. I'M making sure that my strand is fully detangled before I put any heat on it., I'm taking my round bristle brush using both fingers to add some tension and I'm going to do the chase method with my chi flat iron.. This flat iron really helps my hair. Get very straight, but I do like to just run the flat iron down the hair really slowly to make sure I get my ends because they are very unruly.. So I'm just going to show you guys this in a little bit of a quicker motion.. So you detangle use the round. Bristle brush use the tension method with two fingers and chase the brush with my beautiful chi flat iron., You will see me go over my ends multiple times and that's because if you can see they are extremely unruly and just very difficult to work with. At this point, so I have to go over them: multiple times.. If you've seen my natural hair videos, then it doesn't seem like my hair is fine, but here you can tell that I do have fine hair. And of course your girl has to take a dance break. I was getting very frustrated with my ends, so I needed to relax and take a break. If you're not used to flat ironing your own hair. Please be careful if you do it, it's very easy to burn your ears or your fingers. So if you could get a thermal heat protectant glove, that would be perfect, especially if you're using the chase method, but just be very careful.. So unfortunately, my camera died before I could film the last section, but here's the second to last section of me flat ironing. My hair and what I like to do at the end is go over. My ends a couple of times, and this is why I added that extra heat protectant.. This is what the back looks like. It has grown a lot, but your girl definitely could use a trim. What's up guys. Beck: Little tip: one way to test heat protectant is to spray it on the back of your hand and take a blow dryer to it. If it heats up very quickly, the product is shit. If your hand can withstand some heat before getting so hot that you have to pull your hand away, the product is working. Tresemme "thermal creations" does not work! I used to use it all the time and it does get much hype but it really does not protect as well as thermal products like "It's a 10". I highly suggest that one, it makes your hair sooo soft, detangles, mends split ends and you can use it on dry hair as well when it seems a little dry. It's definitely on the pricy side though.

Michelle Rodgers: I had the same issue with my ends for a long time. you need a good trim. i know the goal is length, but the only way to get rid of ends like that is to cut them. for me...i would get a trim every two months...and i would put castor oil on my ends every few days (every day if my hair was natural and in a curly state) to ensure that as my hair grew the ends were not getting even more damaged.
