Just how slick is this slick gorilla, hi guys, so what young Robin welcome back to my youtube channel? Welcome to another product review now, I'm thinking! Do we go up to three videos? Do we do a hair product review or a product review every single Tuesday? You can decide you can. Let me on the comments below you might up my workload, but we can. We can work on this now. This one is all about slick guerrillas, hair, styling, matte effect, styling powder, essentially a hair styling poet. Now I first saw this when I was with my barber: he had it sitting out and I thought what the hell is his product for one. I just thought slick guerrilla. It sends a bit naff. Also a styling powder shouldn't be slick. You know you think pomade and wax, but I thought I'm gon na give it a go. I'M gon na see what it's really like now this is made by a company in Leeds they're all about creating products for the urban jungle. So that's where the gorilla comes from in terms of packaging. It is fine, it's not exactly a blown my mind, but it's in a black masculine tub with a very masculine hipster gorilla on the front. Reading the packaging it says it was made in Turkey is 20 grams. The ingredients you've got glitter in the top, which is known for its hydrating and moisturizing properties and loads of different products. So that's what silica aqua vpv a copolymer and sodium benzoate, which is a preservative that you'll find in loads of different here and also cosmetic products. So it's not like the the products we're looking at recently, which I've packed full of loads of oils and minerals and stuff that's gon na make. You feel great, it's pretty standard, I'm not giving a sniff, because that would be weird. But looking into the consistency of this, it is a powder straight out onto the hands. It'S got a slight tackiness, a slight stickiness to it, and you can feel that into the hero to say the application of this product also juice its packaging. It does go everywhere. You can either apply it by just putting it straight into the hair into the roots, or you can put it onto your hands, which I would definitely recommend into your hands and then work into the hair in terms of styling. You do feel this product is really very responsive. If you want your hair up, it will go up. If you want it down on the side, it will down on the side. It'S not like, like a wax or a pomade or a clay in that you've got some more control. This gives you loads of texture, and that's definitely one of the things I would say you know if you've got slightly longer hair, so here sort of my length medium, like too long you're going to struggle with having those sort of regimented hairstyles that I know and Love and I'm sure loads of you do too, but if you've got really short textured here, then this will do that and into the hold guys I was impressed. You know I used it all day right. It'S been four hours you knowing about it has been everywhere, but it just dots back in right. Just in there we go. Actually you know for not having out a pre styling, not having a hair spray. I have been pleasantly surprised. This has okay, I feel like I've kind of grown into this throughout the day. I am I'm enjoying it. You know there's still text or the still movement find the rest of like it's not dried hard and it's looking good just for an everyday sort of wimpy style. That'S said in terms of wash ability you really do need to work out of your hair. It really does wrap the hair so to get it fully, I say to use a shampoo now price. Then please do come across there's a little info button up there come across, show us and give it your own out of five star rating, but guys I've got to say. I was pleasantly surprised with this. You know I was really pleased with how easy was to style what the application shoe was difficult, but the finish was good. It was matte finish. It was able to be moved around, but I would say again this product really is for guys with shorter hair shorter here with loads of texture, but thank very much for watching, really hope. I have fine hair and it really gave my top good texture and workability. I was a little taken back when he charged me $20 for the small bottle but I liked it so much I bought it anyways. I'm going to try to look for it online cheaper. I give the product 5 stars!
Sug Parra: If you've got short-to-medium straight hair like me that lays flat without product, this is your jam. Gives your hair a texturized, natural looking hold without the hard, shiny crust that other products do. Noticeable difference maker on a good cut.
Gian: I discovered this after I changed barbers and he used this on my hair. It gave my hair really nice texture on the top and added a bit of hair spray to hold it in place. My hair looked good for 3 days so I went and bought it. I normally rock the ‘just got out of bed’ messy top with a fade on the sides and this was perfect for me.
Grant Handley: I went to my barbers this week, and he used this when I saw it I was a little baffled, however the texture in which it gives it crazy, super easy to put in and if you want to change your a little you can I’ll change it later on. I quite highly recommend as I’ve been experimenting with Toni & Guy clay but personally felt like the slick gorilla was a better option! Love the high quality of your videos mate!
Journey Rivenburgh: Hi there! My barber uses this on me when I get a hair cut. Your definetly right in that it is best used with shorter hair with texture. I have hair that is faded close at the sides and back and thicker at the top. Mat is a good way to describe it. Puts it directly on my hair and blends it in. It adds a lot of volume and texture to my hair, which is a problem I tend to have because my hair tends to go flat. The hold is really amazing! It lasts all day for me, and comes out with shampoo.
Marton L: I use the Schwarzkopf session label power cloud. The one in the black bottle, not the red. It's incredibly tacky but keeps the natural texture. You should try it if haven't yet Edit: *Powder cloud, obviously
TheUnitedlemons: I just bought some off amazon and just like you i was suprised too. Its everything you expect it too be but better. So imma give it a 5/5 stars cuz im kinda hooked now. I have straightish hair and its pretty long ( come over atm). Anyways it gives alot of volume and make ur hair feel like a sea salt spray but this is maluable and stays where you want it just like a pomade should.

Hexsing: So. I know I am showing up to the party late...but, I have medium long hair and I would not say that it is for just short hair. It does provide volume and texture to long hair as well. I would avoid the ends obviously, but for guys who have longer, straight flat hair, this can not only give you a little boost, but after a full shampoo, it can give you back that slightly dirty look that gives me more of a gritty texture. Which I prefer than the silky soft look. Overall though...I love pretty much everything you do. I am a subscriber for life.

Juan Doradea: I have a story lol So at my job I do industrial flooring & one of the biggest flaws especially when prepping is the amount of dust it be on the air, & over the years I realized when dust particles in the air are just going on my hair it starts to make my hair really stiff & if I want my hair a certain way it can, I still love going to work when their is dust so I can fix up my hair lmao I’d go to the bathroom after my hair is dusty then I put some water & wow the amazing things you can do with your hair!! Only flaw tho is that is dust lmao which led me here to think of an alternative which is powder & boom I’m here on this video lol I think this is somehow similar

thatpumpfix feelgoodfix: Is there anything on the market that's less tacky and more like a baby powder? A bit like a dry shampoo with good workability, my hair does get quite oily quick and I find it hard to get a comb/brush through my hair with something that's too sticky/tacky
