Hello, everyone welcome back to my channel, as you can see, there's sid's beautiful face and i'm going to be doing her hair and if you want to see what exactly went down here, uh stay tuned. So i walk sydney up early in the morning. Her face is crusty, but that is like toothpaste crust, but let's focus on her hair um. As you can see, i did not twist it up like i said i was going to do so. Here is the result of not doing so. She was over it and i was over it, so i just told her to put the bonnet on and her hair loves water, so i'm going to just saturate it with water and the product. The leave-in is still in there a bit and then the towel had a bit of lint on it, so it added more lint to her hair, which i'm okay with i'm fine um. So here's the hair here is the star of the video. This is the marley hair that i always use, but this is um and those are the little hair jewelry that we love that we need and um. This marley hair is um 26 inches long. I chose 26 inches because um i wanted to i thought about. I was going to do sydney's hair with a long twist or long braids, but then i was like um, i don't know, and then i decided to just cut it in half so that i can have more hair for later. So if i cut 26 inches and then split it in half and then fold it, i would get a short because she's been wearing like that long. Look all the time i wanted her to have like a short look. You know so. Here'S her hair after the water, the water just like penetrates her hair and her hair feels so good um and, as you can see, even the ring light makes it look worse than it really is. But it's not that bad, but i'm okay with product being in her hair, because um her hair loves product, her hair loves to be moisturized. Her hair does best with water and the mixture that i usually put in her hair and um. I'M not going to use. I'M going to use those same sections and same parts, that's been in her hair forever because it just saves me time and here is um my product, that i'm just going that i mix together and her hair loves it. So much i'm just going to run my fingers through her hair and to make sure that the product is really penetrating her hair shaft and then i'm going to use the denman brush to detangle, which is great for her hair and mine as well. So i'm going to do that and then i'm going to get the um the marley hair, the 26 inches that i cut in half. So it's more like 13 inches and i decided that i was gon na braid, her hair, because i know her hair looks great in the twist um with the marley hair. So i was like okay. Let me see what it looks like with the braids, because the twist looked just like her hair, so i assumed that the braids would look even better and you'll see the outcome, but i am detangling her hair with the denman brush here and her hair is just I'M just amazed at sydney's hair. How is just it's beautiful? That'S all i can say i tell her all the time. I'M like. Oh it's thick, it's just so nice. You know and the way it like, shrinks um, because she always asks mom is my hair long and i say um. I really don't know what to tell her. I just say your hair can be long, but it has shrinkage and shrinkage is really good for your hair because it lets. You know that your hair is really healthy. So we love shrinkage and then i'm just showing you an up close here to kind of see how the product loves her hair and this video i want to say this: video is not about um sydney having the best hairstyle like the neatest hairstyle, i'm showing you This hair and how i love the hair, but, more importantly before i proceed to put this hair in sydney's hair, i want to make sure that her hair is moisturized. That is the tangle that it won't dry out in this style and the hair won't dry. Her hair out, so yes, you want your hair to be neat and yes, you want it to last a long time and you want it to be the best you know, but my focus on is on um the care of sydney's hair, because you want these protective Styles, to really protect and grow your hair right. So that's what i'm doing and that's what i'm showing you. Yes, it's cute at the end. Is it the best hairstyle? No is the most perfect hairstyle? No, but it's going to do its job and that's where i'm here to show you. But here i am applying the hair to sydney's hair and you need three strands of hair to braid. So i'm using her hair, the one section as one strand and then i folded the hair in two. So i mean i folded the one strand into two, so i'm using just her hair as a third strand and that is going to help protect her hair and i'm going to braid it all the way down and of course, because it's sydney she's like can, i See what it looks like so she goes in the mirror after one break and then we decide to sit down and watch blackish. So she can be comfortable and then i just decided to do a lymph check to show her because she likes to see and her hair is growing guys. Look at it is it's the bomb thick long and healthy, and here it i'm almost done and don't get scared about the product, because, if you've been here, you've been watching my channel for a long time with sydney that product settles right in and you could tell That it was never there the next day - and i always like put a scarf on her um to lay the hair down and all that and it's perfectly fine, so here's the top. I have three left and i'm just showing you that i put the project on top of her hair and i let it penetrate and i kind of help it and then i take the denman brush and detangle even more, because i want all the tangles out before. I start braiding uh is is, is, is is okay so now that we're all finished, i'm going to put a little braid spray in and put a little spritz in just to settle the hair down, i'm going to blow dry it a little bit because we are Going to um we're going out right after this and i kind of wanted to dry the product, because usually we don't go anywhere after i do her hair her hair has the product has time to um, settle but um. I don't have time so now, i'm going to cut her hair and look what i did y'all. Oh my god. I kept one side shorter than the other and said. Let me know she was like what you do look at her face. Oh so i had to make the rest of the hair. Even it was supposed to be longer, but i made a mistake: it's all good, so i made lemonade at a lemons and i gave her a little cute bulb if you guys have been here with me at the beginning of my journey. How many of you remember sydney short bobs that she used to get with the yarn comment down below? If you remember, because those were the the days it used to be short, the bob used to bob the bob was bobbing. So now we take that hair, jewelry and the ones that she had from previous um styles and we are going to instead of dip her hair, we are going to add those to the ends. That has been our thing. Lately, um, it's clutch, i love it um! It'S easy and quick, and that is about it guys. So i am going to lay her edges and if you love this hair, if you love um anything about this hair, they have different inches um, go ahead and look in the description box for all the links and all the info they'll have it well i'll put It all there for you guys and just click on the link and do what it says and you will get the hair, because i i keep um. I use it all the time because i really love it. So i want you guys to try it out and look. It really matches sydney's hair. If i would have done the knotless braids with this hair, you would think this is sydney's hair, but because it has the knots at the top. These are regular box braids. You can tell that hair is added only because the knot at the top, which i'm fine, because we grew up on box braids and maybe next time i'll do knotless braids. I want to do sydney's, hair in so many different ways. I think i might relax her hair, which i think i might relax her hair just because she can get more different styles i'm like over. I just want her to have an easy hair day. You know just let me know what you guys think i know so many people are going to say no. Why would you do that? Why, but anyway, um thank you guys for watching um click, the link in the bio i mean that's link in the bio. This is not instagram, um click, the link in the description box, um make sure you subscribe and i love you guys have a great day.

misjuiceefroot: Go for it. I’m relaxed, after 10+ years natural I was over it. Unlike when I was in my early 20’s, I’m very careful about relaxing. I only relax 10-12 weeks, I don’t overlap or over process, I use olaplaex and Alikay naturals products to treat my hair, and I keep it trimmed. My hair is healthy and thick. It’s all about how you care for her hair. So do what’s best for her and you.

Me Me: Yelp, relax it. Only because she is so tender headed. It’s not going to be a problem cause you already know how to care for relaxed hair. Plus I know she is going to love it and She’ll get to enjoy her length. Do it, I can’t wait to see it!

Keeping Up With Kendra: I think you should do it because I totally understand how you feel . Your daughter and my daughter literally has the same hair type and is very tender headed. I always do styles that last long too because I know this may sound bad but sometimes I dread doing her hair because she cry every time. I have tried everything . I will eventually relax her hair soon.

Levi’sWife: When I was younger I was also tender headed,I used to always cry when they did my hair so my mom just ended up relaxing my hair, which made it much better. Then when I was 12 I did the big chop now I’m natural and I can handle it

Because_I_Have_To: Anyone in our shoes (tenderheaded daughters with natural hair) can relate...it's about getting the hair put away in a healthy way and with all of our sanity intact. Neatness is a low priority in these "wars" ‍♀️

Alita Grandison @Lita Bita's Place: Sis. You do what's best for you and Syd The Kid. I'm here for it all.

Love84: Those faces! She’s so cute! That is still me as an adult combing my own hair. My daughter is also tender headed so we locked her hair at 11. She’s 13 now and she says she wants to take her locs out when she starts high school. Have you thought about keeping her hair blow dried and heat training? Just because relaxing is so permanent and she might want to change it up and not have to cut it to do it

Always Sharp: Always love for you guys . You have to do what's best for your situation. I know you will taken of the relaxed hair just as you do the natural hair

R M: This child's hair is beautiful! Im so jealous.. I had long thick 4c hair tender headed always in tears . Mom relaxed my hair. I stayed relaxed for almost 30 years. Now natural I'd never go back. It took years for me to regain my true hair texture. I'm team stay natural. You can do it Love the braids she is so cute.

Vernita Vaughn: I watch your videos all the time, although i don't comment every time. I had to comment today because I love how patient you are while doing Sydneys hair. My daughter had hair like Syd but my baby was severely tender headed. She's 22 now, lol. I think i would have done better with my baby's hair had I known what products to use. Watching your videos has shown me that. I am natural and I have learned so much from you in regards to keeping my own natural hair healthy. I say all this to let you know that your video are very much appreciated!!! If you have ever wondered if your videos are helping anyone, I can tell you that they help SO MUCH. Thank you for sharing your tips with us

Sandra DeJesus: IVE BEEN THERE WITH MY DAUGHTER I THINK IF ITS EASIER FOR YOU TO MANAGE SYDNEYS HAIR GO FOR IT.... AS SHE GETS OLDER SHE CAN MAKE THAT DECISION TO GO BACK TO HER NATURAL HAIR LIKE MY DAUGHTER DID... MUCH LOVE ❤

Nicole Marie: I'm team natural. I use a detangling spray and it's been a life saver for me. I used to dislike getting my hair done as a child. Now as an adult I'm learning how to.take care of my hair and what products work best for me. Her hair is so beautiful!

Salynn Williams: Mom you did a beautiful job! Her hair looks so pretty!

blue Vortex: I’m definitely for her getting a relaxer . Some People just don’t understand the process of detangling 4 c hair I’m very tender headed and I care what anyone saying relaxer have been my friend. I can do so many styles now. ❤️I say every 6 months will her get through some of her tender headedness

Terri Brown: After watching yall for a while, I am ok with you relaxing her hair because I know how she struggles with it and it would make wash days etc much better. So if that's what she wants then I don't see no harm in it. I'm natural as well and I'm considering going back to relaxed hair as well.

hoosieraussis1: The Denman brush was not actually designed for detangling but for styling. Have you ever tried a tangle teaser (or the Dollar Tree knock-off)? It looks intimidating, but the flexible teeth are designed to bend around more resistant tangles/knots rather than rip through them. She might tolerate her detangling sessions a little bit better. I also detangle under running water which honestly does most of the work for me.

Vanessa Dobbins: Nice braids! Your daughter is so cute and funny God bless you both it’s what you and your daughter are comfortable with regarding her hair care.

Tami K: Sidney is the cutest thing...I love how you show and take so much care with her and her hair. She's a blessed little girl.

Malinda Weir: Its YOUR baby girl. I feel you should do whatever works for YOU and HER! If relaxing will make your hair sessions easier, chile do it!!

Nkiki: I think microlocs or sisterlocs will be great for her. The initial install will take time but after that you will only have to get it retighed ever sis weeks. Barely any tension and her hair will flourish only the SL shampoo or Suave clarifying Shampoo. Less stressful on her and you

Janine McDonald: Cute style….. Love Syds personality and do as you please with your daughters hair!!

Meggans POETICAL Breeze: Being that you take such good care of her hair if you chose to relax it it should do fine... Have you seen any vids of people doing a tex lax... It loosens up the texture without making it bone straight... I'm begging you to please just keep doing what your doing to her hair it's growing so beautifully and I absolutely love how thick healthy and strong her hair is...

Shay Na'Bre: I love her natural hair but do what you feel is best. I have 2 girls with long thick hair and it's a struggle. But yessss I remember her yarn braids with the pink yarn added it was sooo cute on her!!

Cupcake Mom: I think you make great choices for the baby and you will take excellent care of her hair regardless if it's natural or relaxed. Her natural hair is so thick and gorgeous I hope u leave it natural. Going to the shop is expensive but u could give her an easy wash day like that.

Julia Hanna: If you relax her hair there will still be the problem of tender headed because of the thickness I think you have done a great job so far I was watching from when you shaved it me personally I would say no to relaxer, watching this I am hopping she don’t get grown and mess her hair up because she can’t take care of it

Donna Smith: Yes… it’s time for the relaxer!! You will be diligent in taking care of it!!

balaia29: At the end of the day do what's best for you and your child. I wish I could relax my hair but I can't take the migranes and my edges always fall out it with it. Luckily I have 4B/4C hair and it's manageable.

Kiawona Boston: Beautiful .. she's so cute!! I think you should do what you think is best for Syd. Her hair is beautiful natural and would be beautiful if you perm it.

s8450631: I would try locs on her first. There are so many cute styles for locs you can try. A relaxer would be my last resort..throwing in the towel…I’m all out of ideas decision.

Monique UU: Yes, her hair is long (shrinkage and all). * African thread her hair, or use yarn to stretch it overnight, she'll see.

M Bell: ‍♀️Good job..her hair is beautiful...just know relaxing is a commitment...thanks for sharing ...ky

Happy Hoskins: Would be cute either way, but I think her hair would look so gorgeous with locs

Joycelyn Taylor: Go to a professional stylist that you trust. Box relaxers and hair color are unpredictable. Relaxed hair will break in braided styles due to the chemical change of the bonds in the hair shaft. She's your daughter so it's your choice. Blessings

Tania S: Do it because so it can ease both of you guys pain . My sister had almost the same hair texture with Sidney and my mom couldn't handle her hair anymore because she was battling with arthritis in her hands plus she was in her 40's @ the time and was 7 Year when she got first perm . I begged my mom not to relax my sister's hair , I would handle it but she didn't want to put the responsibility on me because I had a lot on my plate . U what you gotta do her and don't pay nobody no attention, that's your child .

Vernita Vaughn: Yes, Sydneys hair is very Beautiful

Pamela Branch: She has beautiful long hair. I can tell that it is just shrinkage. Do you ever just braid her actual hair without adding hair. My sister and l use to be tender headed until my uncle's ex started braiding it and putting in beads. I think it was the constant manipulation of our scalp at the roots.

Marlo Dodds: Her natural Hair is so thick and beautiful!!!

Carmencita Davis: A light relaxer on her hair will probably be a good idea for you and for her because it will be easy on Sidney

Carmencita Davis: Does that brush detangle all up inside the roots of the hair also or just the ends of the hair only

LaShaun Barnette: Sydney is your baby and you know how to take care of healthier so healthy hair so relax it is it if it's better for both of you so that she can handle all the different hairstyles that you'd like to do for her

Brie Lax 44: I just put a texturizer on my daughter’s 4a hair and styling on wash days has become easier

Goddess_ Leach: Do what’s best for y’all. She going to be pretty either way

lisse Boo: If straighten it helps you to manage it and her better then go for it. Personally I love the thickness of her hair and not fully 100 on straighten her hair and I admire how you care for her but i also know you already know how to treat her hair properly so she will be fine

kwan southerland: Beautiful either way. Are your products available to buy?

Diva Den: What about textlax? My child is the same way. She managing better. Its a damn struggle. She about start managing her own hair. I'll get it professional done every other moth but ahe has to manage in between time cause its to expensive to get it done every 2 weeks like we use to. But I begged my mom for a relaxer at 13 and never regretted. I only went natural after giving birth 11 years ago but had my relaxer for a couple decades.

La Joyce Morales: So cute. A relaxer would be nice like you did before. She have so much hair it wouldn't hurt plus you take such good care of her hair it would be easier on her tender/delicate scalp. She has enough hair for 3 heads. Continue to do what's best for your daughter. You are a brilliant Mother. I love your videos.

Wendy Bass: Her hair is so cute

Angela Rice: You relaxing her hair, will it be easy for you or her? She will have beautiful hair no matter what you do, and you can get alot of great styles without perming her hair, try to wait until she gets older but it's your choice.

Kendra grady-kelly: Sooooo cute!!!

KaylahJanelle: I think you should see if she would like it relaxed or not. But i think you take care of her hair really well so breakage wouldnt be an issue.

lisha williams: That's pretty, my kid hair is similar she is so tender headedI did put one in but now I regret it I don't recommend it but to each on do what's best 4 her

R Mobley: Yes honey relax her hair this time let it sit just a little longer to get it straight because Sydney is very tender headed.

Jerrian Hicks: get you a blow dryer brush… works wonders on 4c thick hair

Lashawna Brady: @supa natural. Have you tried flat twists in a style or box twists with her natural hair.

Samille Miley: I was thinking the same about my Daughter she has the same texture hair and comes almost to her but…… I don’t know what to do it takes hours to do her

Jesus54love: So cute God Bless

Nisha: I wouldn't relax her hair. She doesn't even need the weave really. She has beautiful thick hair. Two strand styles maybe

Freedomspeaks: Poor baby she is so tender headed do what's best for her

Corlissa: Came out nice.

Meeyahx: Relaxing the hair is better than texlax, in my opinion

sheshe night:

Tamara Stone: Relaxed hair is more manageable

Angela Jenkins: No. Don't. Naturalista all the way!

Barbara King: She is such a pretty girl

Kristy Davis: Cute

♡︎𝕊𝕐𝔻𝕋𝕍♡︎: ℝ

Always Sharp: This is me Peggie ONeal. Something happened and I had to do a new identity

Cynthia Dixon: Cute

Terri Brown: I'm here

Antoinette: Hey the title said perm/relax

Who Knew: Her hair is heavenly... Lord have mercy... Don't perm it ... In the bible wool represents holiness the chosen people.

EL. H.: Detangling is the key this looked painful and I am not tenderheaded. Maybe find a better routine and let her know that her styles are limited bc she is tender headed...

Bob: Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.
