Hi, i'm bernard regional director of education for she hereby so cap USA, I've been a stylist for 24 years as I've traveled, the country teaching hair extension classes. Over the last ten, I've had the opportunity to see or use almost every hair extension technique in the industry. For many years we taught hair extensions on mannequins which helps the stylist begin to make more money than they ever had before. But then it hit me, why are we not using live models so a few years ago? That'S exactly what we started doing after doing full heads of extensions on real people, the stylist confidence level was so much greater. They all said they felt like they could really do it now, whereas many who learned on mannequins krasin, aided or never actually did hair extensions ever after the class. Other benefits of using real people was the color matching became more important, and the haircut also became a very important part of the training. The model. Now a client becomes a walking billboard of advertisement or advertising for you, especially if you take advantage of the before and after pictures and post them to all of your social media sites. We call this hands-on training a coaching class. The class is great as an advanced class with it already certified, as well as a regular certification class from the new style is joining our team. If I stylist already does extensions, the coach can focus on advanced skills when checking in on them, as they walk around the room, while still covering basic techniques for the new other things we go over during this day are how to get more people interested in hair Extensions, the three most important questions to ask during the consultation the correct way to do a flat bond versus the old-fashioned realm on new placement patterns and the cutting and blending techniques at the end of the class. A typical coaching day goes like this stylists start at 8 a.m. while the models come in for 10. The first two hours of the day will be spent on theory, questions and some practice on mannequins. Before the models arrive, we bring enough tools and equipment for each stylist to borrow and use their own for the day. If you decide to take advantage of a coaching class, it would be best to schedule it 3 to 6 weeks in advance to secure your date. That will give you enough time to line up models and match the color or the color ring that we will send to you. If you need one go ahead and schedule that class today give us a call
