I'Ve got 30 minutes. If you want to spill your mind, give me all your reasons: hey! What'S up guys, it's your girl, kristen and welcome back to my channel, so in today's video we're going to be doing a review of this hair that i'm wearing from icy hair. This is a 13 by 4 inch, hd lace unit that i'm wearing. We are wearing 30 inches, so this is the longest hair that i have ever worn, but i have to tell y'all i love it. I might be a 30 inch girl moving forward okay. So, if you're looking for some long bundles, that are absolutely beautiful, low maintenance, because this is curly hair, but it's not too curly where you got to like do the most. If that makes sense, i literally just put some leave-in conditioner and some cream in it, and i feel, like this hair looks absolutely beautiful and if you want it to be even more defined, you could put some gel in this boy as well, and it will be Amazing, so today i'm going to walk you through how i laid this unit. It was super easy. This is probably easier than the traditional units because i didn't put a part in it. I just did the baby hairs laid it down. I put my cap down as well: got this hair all the way together. We did bleach the knots now, but it was not that hard. I am so in love and i definitely definitely am going to be rocking this unit again as well as i need to get me a couple of these for the future, but with that being said, let's go ahead and get into it. So i can walk you guys through how i did this install and if you have any questions as usual, be sure to comment below in the comment section and let us just know so i want to start by showing you what came in the packaging we received. The hair - and this is the way that it looks fresh out the box. We also have some marketing materials a bonnet. They also included a few other goodies that i was kind of excited to get some lashes, some false nails to try. They gave me a bag to put my hair, in which i love having the bag a little scrunchy and my wig cap that i can use to go ahead and lay the unit so to get started. I decided to start with bleaching my knots and i use my powder and then i came in with a 30 developer. My goal here is to make it like toothpaste, so i probably was a pinch too thick, but i feel like i'd rather be too thick than too thin and run into the actual hairs and make it look gold and have like bleach spots in the actual hair. So i feel like i got this just about perfect and it looks just like this. I would have loved to have a little bit more, but unfortunately i ran out of powder, but it turned out okay, so we just went ahead and laid this on the knots and i like to use a plastic knife, i'm so sorry this wasn't in frame. But if you take a plastic knife, it makes it so easy to lay it down and not run into your hairs. Okay. So we do that then we're coming in with some shimmering lights shampoo. This is the purple shampoo that will make sure you don't overdo your bleaching and have like these bronze pieces, like it just kind of tones it down. That'S your toner and then, after that, we're going to go ahead and dry the cap now because this is a curly hair. I wasn't too worried about having all the hair dry, but i did dry the cap before applying it and now we're getting into actually laying down the unit. So i just took my little wig cap put it over my whole face. Then i used the freeze spray to spray it down. You can also use your ghost bond if you like to use ghost bond as well. It does make it look really really snatched if you use your ghost bond, but i just used the spray worked out nicely for me and i think, did a pretty okay job. You know working that out, but we cut that back after we got done cut back. The ear flap as well and then i'm gon na go ahead and start measuring the hair on my forehead and through my ears, just to get everything together when i have the wig cap laid down. So this part is actually not that hard, but it is important to put a little bit of powder down so that you can make sure it blends in super nicely. So i'm using the powder that i use for my makeup to set my makeup and we just go over it just to make sure it looks the same color as my face now this isn't perfect, but it it turned out. Okay - okay, just just bear with me now, but we cut the little flap in the back off because i'm not going to worry about gluing that down. I never worry about that little flap, but you can, if you want to so after we cut that down, i'm going to measure the wig to my face and just make sure i have everything exactly where i want it to before. I put my glue down. This is super important, i'm never as tedious, where i actually like measure it and like write little things on my face and do all that i don't do all that. I probably should, but i don't, but once i have it measured and i know i'm gon na lay it. I lay down two layers, two very thin layers of ghost bond. I wrote ended up regretting not cutting back that lace. Just a little bit more. I shouldn't say the lace, the cap, a little bit more. I ended up doing it a little later, which i think i did off camera, but just so you know cut the cap all the way back. Okay, i just want to make sure to throw that out there so once we have it glued and the glue is dry and not white anymore, we're coming in with our wig and we're going to use the comb to apply it and lay it all the way Flat - and you can kind of see here what i was talking about - where you can see that wig cap just a little bit, i did end up cutting that back after i cut the lace and i did it off camera, but i just wanted to spike that Out, if you do that, just make sure you cut that little bit back, so you can't see it through the wig, but we're almost there you guys. So, while that is laying down we're gon na go ahead and take care of this hair, i'm using the melanin leave-in conditioner, this stuff is pretty awesome. I love it because it detangles my real hair so nicely. Now. This really isn't a cream that i use to style my hair, but it definitely detangles really really good and then i'm using the camille rose naturals. This is the hair milk. I wanted to use this because i didn't really want to have a thick cream for this hair. I wasn't sure how it was going to hold up how it was going to act with the cream, so i wanted to use something that was going to be thin and not weigh it down a lot, and so far so good did end up doing my baby Hairs off camera, but you will be able to see when we come back right here. What i was looking like, so i love the finished result. This is definitely the longest hair i have ever worn, but i am very, very impressed i'm so excited to have this, and, as i mentioned, even though this is a sponsored video, i can for sure see myself picking up a couple more of these units so that I have them on standby and can continue to wear them because i love it so so much and it was so easy to apply well.
