wigtypes courtney jinean janet collection amazon wigs wigs for black women

What'S up cart, crew and welcome back to the channel? It'S your girl, courtney, janine and i'm back with another video. Today'S video is another wig review. I'M super excited because i love trying new units for you guys. Today i will be trying two units from janet collection. You all know that i rarely try jenna collections wig, so every time i'm just like. Oh my gosh, i'm super excited. These wigs are from their essentials, lace, wig collection. I don't think i've tried any from this collection before i've tried willow, roxy, not gina, but i think that was from a whole another collection. So i'm super excited to debut this on my channel, for you guys, let me know down in the comments, because i don't think that these units are new. So if you try these units, let me know your thoughts down below. I am going to be showcasing two units for you guys we're going to be showcasing them both, but only doing the install process on one you all know. My install process is basically the same for every wig that i do so no shade, no t so yeah. I'M super excited: let's go ahead and open the wig up the unit that i'm going to be showcasing on camera and like installing, for you guys is called sami again. This is from their essentials, lace, wig collection, i'm going to go ahead and open this up together. So that we can see what the key features are, this is just the stock car there's not much on it even on the back. So let me just read what it says: it comes with a natural lace, color hand, tied lace, base, part deep and soft parting. Soft and easy styling perfect fit essentials. Lace, wig line features a variety of premium, synthetic wig styles. The units are hand tailored to fit your every need, featuring everything from an ear-to-ear soft swiss lace, a hand-tied and pre-plugged d-part, and an elastic wig band for a secure, fit tangle-free and soft premium. Synthetic fibers mimic the appearance and feel of human hair, safe to heat style up to 360 degrees, fahrenheit. Okay, i think what stood out to me, the most just by reading the um. The claims is that this is swiss lace instead of hd, so that kind of tells me i'm not expecting too much from the lace in terms of like melt this, because, usually with swiss lace, you, like hg lace, is like the highest grade of lace. So straight out, the box, the hair, is really soft. The lace is giving swiss lace. It is just a lace part, so you can't really pluck too much with this unit in terms of the lace it is given swiss, i will say, like you, will need to tip this lace. The knots are kind of dark, but let's go ahead and try on this unit all right guys. So i just put on the unit and this is it straight out the box. I do have some initial thoughts. I love the hair quality. I think the hair quality is really nice. Of course, i haven't tried to put heat on it, but the hair is very soft. I'M not getting any tangles, even though i'm putting my hands through it and i'm not getting. I am getting a couple strands of shedding in terms of the style. I think the style is really cute. I think the density is very natural. Looking what i am struggling with is the lace you guys can see and also how flat this unit is. I don't know if it's like the unit or if it's like my little fro, because you guys know that i am growing up my hair and i'm not sure if i even feel like playing with um this lace today. So i'm like how crazy would it be to cut bangs, or is that too much? I'M gon na give you guys a full 360 before i go in and style this unit. So here is the unit to the front and i'm gon na put all the hair. Just so you see that this is a very natural density unit, nothing too full or anything like that. So here is it to the front. Here is the right side, the back, there's all the hair to the back, and here is the left side. So now that you've seen a full 360 i'm going to style this unit and i'll be back to give you all my final thoughts. You act like you need a mind trying to do it all but bring it back and wind it. You took my feelings: can you tell me just okay, you guys so after i've tried on both units. Here are my thoughts on miss sammy and cece. Before i get into it comment down below which unit is your fav on me, but yeah? Let'S get into my pros cons and final thoughts, so i'm always going to start with my cons, one. I think the biggest con i kind of mentioned before and throughout this video is the lace. It is swiss lace which at this point, i feel like most wig collections or synthetic wig collections are coming up with hd lace and that's the most like high-tech lace. It melts really well and knots are really small that it melts seamlessly. But this is swiss lace, which um kind of entails bigger knots. So it's harder for the unit to kind of melt into your skin, and i kind of felt like that. I felt like the knots were really big, so i didn't really want to go in and fight with the lace today. So i went in and cut bangs on this unit um. I did install the unit with um cc, but yeah for this unit. I just felt like the lace and with both units i feel like the lace is just kind of detectable it's not flawless, but i think that it is a very like beginner type of lace, so you can easily just tint it and although it's not going to Melt really well, you can easily like throw it on and go so. I felt like this was a great like glueless install, especially after adding the bang another thing that i will know because i know on the stock card. It talks about elastic band. My unit didn't have an elastic band, so i don't know what that's about but yeah. I just wanted to point that out and lastly, i feel like this unit is on the natural density side. So this is a con for me, but could be a pro for someone else. This unit is very like thin to me. It is very natural, but i like big hair, so i would like a little bit more hair on this unit because it is kind of i don't know it kind of falls flat, and maybe if this wasn't a silky texture, if it was more like a natural Kinky straight type of unit with the same curls, even if it had the same density just because it has a little bit more depth to the texture, it will probably be a little bit bigger. So that's kind of my cons on my pros. I love the hair quality. Janet collection does a great job with the fact that, like even though their units are super affordable, most often in the 30 range hair is still given quality. I have run my fingers through this hair. I have brushed out the curls and i haven't gotten that much tingling or shedding, and it does take heat because i did put a little bit of heat on the bangs for this unit. So i think that this hair quality is great for the price. Like i mentioned before, this is going for less than 30 on some sites, which is very affordable. Other things, i will say that this is kind of like a throw on and go unit, which i think is a pro in terms of final thoughts. I think that this unit is like i mentioned before - probably a beginner friendly unit. It is very affordable, so you can kind of use this as your tester wig or test out different, like techniques with applying the wig. I think that this is a great kind of like beginner friendly wig, because you don't have to worry with like ripping the lace there's not much to plug. So i think that this is a great kind of beginner friendly. Honestly, you guys, though, out of all the wigs i've tried from jenna collection. I don't think that this is the one that i would actually recommend in terms of like starting your collection, i would say: go with willow, i loved willow. It was a kinky texture and the lace was really up to par it melted really easily, and i think that that is the one that i would suggest. I don't think that this collection is the best from um jenna collection, because i've tried better. So i would say if you want to try an affordable unit, definitely go with janet collection willow, because that unit was very affordable. Melted really easily was a great unit and it's a kinky texture. So, probably last you a lot longer than this silky texture, especially since this one doesn't have a lot of hair on it. Anyways, it's very like a very natural, thin um unit, it's probably better, to go with willow anyways. Let me know your thoughts down in the comments. Have you tried this unit? If you enjoyed this video, don't forget to give it a big thumbs up. Let me know your thoughts down in the comments and i'll see you guys in my next one bye, guys

Courtney Jinean: Team Sammie or Team Cici?

Imari Ferrer: I’m not a huge fan of these units, I feel like Outre has got Janet Collection beat as far as wig styles, and that’s coming from someone new to synthetic wigs. After binging most of your videos, I’m way more inclined to purchase from Outre.

PauliDee, TMJ: I LOVE what you did with the bangs! I bought the JUNE from the Janet Collection and my stupid azz thought I couldnt cut the bangs so I sold that gorgeous wig :( You gave me hope. WOC wig sites are by far more reasonable than the European ones. Who can afford $300 for a SYNTHETIC wig?!

Debbie Barrow: I believe JC can be hit & miss some of their colour blends are I will agree Willow is quite pretty as forc"big hair dont care" am not brave enough when I bought Neesha 201 which I know is not a really big hair unit did not feel comfortable personally

Utopia K.: Uh.. I’m undecided with Janet. Maybe that’s cause I wore a Janet collection wig today lol .. (Sophie from the black to brown to white ) But I usually will grab Outre or Bobbi Boss. Most of the time I like the texture Janet’s wigs. But with them I usually go with the body wave ones.

Tisa sankey: Janet is a hit or miss kinda thing

Tisa sankey: Very thin looking for me. I'm team bighorn don't care
