Removing My Keratin Hair Extensions !

Hey guys welcome back to my channel so today I'm freaking nervous, but today I am actually going to be removing my k, tip extensions. I'Ve been having these extensions for six months now. I got them done in January and it is time guys like it is honestly time to get rid of these extensions, because I am at the point where I have long hair, but I don't know how to style it like. I don't know what to do with it and every time we shower it's just so much hair that it kind of gets overwhelming and I just honestly want to get rid of them already and every time like I do comb my hair, I have had some extensions, Like fall out and stuff, as you guys could see so they're ready, you know I already I just I have to get rid of rid of them already. So I went to Sally's earlier and I ended up getting the ultimate a bond remover. It was about six dollars, or so so imma go ahead and attempt to remove them myself. If I can't, then obviously, I'm gon na go get them professionally done, but I'm gon na try. I really want to get rid of them early, because you could see the separation between my hair and bond and especially when my hair is down. Look. Let me show you so you see all those gaps there, like you see all those gaps. All these gaps are like the bonds individually, so that doesn't look pretty and then look how it looks when I have it down. Do you guys see all those gaps if that makes any sense like this is a bond? That is a bond. That'S a bond! That'S a bond, so it doesn't look pretty anymore so, and I have also noticed that my real hair has gotten hold with one of the bonds like right here. This is two separate bonds. Oh well, you can't really see but feeler to separate bonds, but my real hair is tangled with both bonds. That made no sense, but my hair is mine. Actual hair is tangled, so it became one with both of these bonds. Does that make sense? So we are gon na, try it on this one. I got the glue and I got some pliers I hated did not find the hair once I don't know where you buy them, so I'm going to improvise and use these if it does not work again. I'M just gon na stop this because I really don't want to damage my hair. So let me so. I have been watching some YouTube videos to see how like they do it, and if I see that I'm ripping like my hair off my realer, then I'm going to just stop and go get it professionally done. Because I don't want to damage my hair. So then I guess you get like these pliers suck. I really wish the extensions lasted a little longer. I had them for six months, but but honestly, hair is pricey. Extensions are pricey. I feel like for the price that it is for the price for the price that they are, I feel like they should last a little longer. But oh my god, I'm scared. So this is my real hair already, so I just pull it like. So I took off one extension and this is all my hairs, so I took one extension out and I don't think that's my hair, because it has black little ends right right. Okay, this hair is right. It is my hair, no stop! This does not matter. This is honestly going to take me hours to do. Oh, okay, so this one seems to be a little easier to take off, see simple, but it's kind of scaring me. I don't know if this is my real hair or if it's part of the extension but see like hair, keeps falling off. I'M hoping it's part of the extension and not my real hair. It'S my realer, then I'll, stop! Okay, so you guys kind of get the idea of how to remove extensions. So I'm go ahead and try to do like the bottom part and once I'm more closer to like my top extensions, I'm go ahead and show you guys again. So it is the next day I went ahead and stopped removing my extensions last night. It was like around 12:30 1:00 a.m. and I went ahead and removed all the bottom extensions, and then this morning, when I actually showered my head felt so relieved, it will fell so nice, so good, not having so much hair to wash, and it didn't even feel So heavy so it felt nice and then, when I was shampooing my hair, it felt very light very good. It just felt nice not having all that weight on your head anymore, which was good mmm good girls out of breath. So, like I said, I went ahead and removed all the bottom extensions, and this is all the hair it's already like, bundled up and stuff, but look how much hair I had just at the bottom part. I still need, like the sides and my crown area, look how much hair this is honestly. Removing this hair took me about two hours and if you are gon na, do it make sure you take your time doing it or I have someone help you, because I kind of struggled with some of the bottom ones, and I was even scared to like tug At it, because I didn't want to pull my own hair so take your time and make sure if someone helps you don't just because you want to remove them, don't rush on removing them take your time. I can't believe that all this was on my hair for six full months. When I get them again. Yes, I would, but I would probably get on a shorter length, like maybe 18 inches, because when I went to go, get them done. I didn't know - and I ended up - get going with like 22 inches, but I didn't keep in mind that my natural hair, like was gon na, grow out, so the extensions we're also gon na grow out. So my hair was pretty long. It was maybe even passing a little bit more of like my waist. My butt was passing my butt, and so yes, I get them again, but I go maybe was like 18 inches so guys again, if you guys are planning to remove your own k tips, don't do it if you are gon na. Do it make sure you have a lot of patience, make sure you have someone help you if not go, get it professionally removed? You don't want to rip out your own hair. I did have my K tips on my side and my crown area, but those imma kind of just leave them in there for a little longer, because I tried taking them out yesterday and they were just very like stuck in there and I did it again. I didn't want to pull it. I didn't want to like tug on it really hard, because I didn't want to rip my own hair, so i'ma get those, maybe another two weeks and then I'll remove them. So before you go make sure to LIKE and subscribe, follow me on Instagram and snapchat, and I will see you guys on my next video bye, guys.

Brandy Rankin: That is your real hair in the extensions. You normally shed hair everyday. When the extensions are glued in around your hair your real hair can't naturally "fall" out bc it is trapped inside of the glue. So yes that was ur natural shedded hair its just trapped in the glue. Those hairs came out a long time ago they just didn't have any way of falling out.

clipinqueen: Thanks for the vid. For others watching this vid: it's common to lose a lot of hair when removing extensions. It's shed hair. Also, I have found alcohol (like hand sanitizers or 100% alcohol) on the bonds helps a lot in breaking them down. Sometimes acetone is great too.
