Hi guys, how are you I'm Robin welcome back to my youtube channel and welcome to this new video now in this one, I'm going to show you how to correctly use our own brush to get big hair. I decided to do this video because I was on Instagram stories last week and I basically gave myself cartoon character here by using her own brush a hair, dryer and a bit of product and had loads of you guys on Instagram, asking me how I did it. So today's the day, so in this one you're going to need a couple of things, you're, obviously going to need that round brush you need a hairdryer, a heat protection and volume spray. This one's fudge try blow a styling product for this one. I'M just gon na use the Baxter of California clay pomade, and then I hear it's pretty used want a lock up all into place. Now before I get going. If you're new to my channel, then please do hit subscribe right now. The button is just below this. Video and ferny done that then make sure that Bell button has been clicked just means you're getting at that notification as soon as I upload. But here we go starting with clean and tell adroit here now before you actually get into using that Rome brush. You want ensure that the hair is clean. You don't want any product residue, because that will weigh the hair day, so I've just washed mine and then tell it dried it. Next, you want to use your prep treatment now. This is really gon na work with that round brush and the hairdryer to build that volume. In now, I'm using fudge tribal. Oh this one's got heat protection and it also helps to build up for you. I think this actually goes up to something like 230 degrees. It'S really gon na protect that here and make sure here's quartered all over from root to tip and then for the next bit, which you really are all here for and that's how to use this round brush. Now there are a couple of movements to this, and the way I like to do it is to remember, to brush push lock and pull. That means really. What you want to do is to get that brush start working through from root to tip to brush up slightly to catch. The hair then take it down slightly twist it to lock the hair around that brush and then pull through now exactly same time as you're doing that using your hairdryer, preferably with a nozzle just to really direct that heat and you're gon na take it on to The brush that's gon na help to build that volume and start to set it and guys. I always see across all my videos use a medium heat fast speed, it's too hot, even if you've got that protection screen. You'Re really gon na find it burning, especially onto your skull now, if you're, finding that here's tugging or you feel like it's breaking, then stop straight away, get a hair, dryer off and just reverse that motion so come back on yourself, unlock it and pull. Oh, you really don't wan na be pulling if it's sore, if you feel any breakage, you want to really protect the hair. The last thing I like to do is to take the temperature of a hair day and that's just gon na seal. The cuticle give it a bit more shine and also prep it for styling. So I'm pushing this cold blast button on the hair, dryer and then just blasting a little bit. I don't really need to use that brush, I'm just using my hands to work through now. If you don't have a cool blast and take the temperature right down, if you can't do that either don't worry too much. This is just a step that I like to do to get the hair ready and once you've done, that it's really up to you to decide how you want to style your hair. You can do like I've done and grab a bit of clay or a bit of putty and just work really onto the surface of the hair, to build that definition and just to ensure this style stays or you can with your hands right through and take some. The volume down you're still gon na have the here. That'S got volume, but it's just not gon na be as severe now, because you've built that amazing volume into the hair I like to ensure that's not going to move so I'm scrapping a hair spray and blasting. It all over and they go guys how to use a round brush to get big here and I'd say really. If you do want all that volume then roam brushing the hair. Dryer is the way forward. There'S nothing else that I've tried. That gives me the same sort of volume, but thank you very much for watching hope. You'Ve enjoyed this one. If you did and again you've still not press subscribe, then please do hit subscribe right now. I have got loads coming up in the next couple of weeks. I'M keeping a bit of a secret but make sure you subscribe now to see it. The button is up there. Also more videos, suggestions down there stay with me and watch them or head to my blog right. There I'll see you my next new video, which will be Thursday

Robin James: As requested by you guys on Instagram! Loads coming up in the next couple of weeks. I'm excited to share with you.

TheBondoqq: Hi there Robin! Really enjoying watching your videos - spot on! I do both have a paddle brush, which I normally use after applying a prestyler and then blow dry it. Now I have this round brush as well (with some pre made holes in it). I have tried to use it a couple of times, but I do not think I have the proper length though. What’s the length of your hair in this video? And which length would you say is the minimum requirement for getting the best results using the round brush?

David Harkess: Hi Robin. Great vid again, I love these back to basics. Some of us don't know how to put volume in the hair and you nailed it. Thanx again Robin.

Del: I was using a regular comb but after watching this video I bought a round brush & it works amazing the volume & styles you can do Amazing!!!

Brian Kop: Hey Robin, i used to use a round brush and I really like your technique, but however, the round brushes tug my hair. I prefer a vented brush because it's more gentle on my hair and it helps me build the volume that I needed.

Tom S: Hi Robin i love the back to basic content . love how your content is straight to the point. always annoys me when youtubers add so much waffle to bump up the minutes and the message gets lost.

The_smelly_shroom: Love your channel man! Really cool for you to help others achieve great hair.

Hari Sankar: Just what i was looking for.. thank you

sally edgar: Woh so LOVE this. So simple and effective. Thanks.

Tyler Linson: Hello Robin! So I have very fine, and straight hair. I keep it nice and neat on the sides and keep it at about 2 inches on the top. I like to volumize my hair, and style it quite like I've seen you do with the Quiff. However, my issue is the styling product. I've tried something like American Crew Fiber, which no matter the amount, just seems too heavy and kills my volume. And I've also tried something like TIGI's Bedhead molding paste. Which gets me the style I want, but has absolutely no hold. I was wondering if you could suggest to me some styling products with a decent hold that won't weigh my hair down? Thanks so much!

schwarzblatt: Killer vid, Robin. Max volume is sometimes all we need to lift the spirit!!

Robbie Jenkins: I have the same exact brush and I love it!

Vain: Thanks man i just got my hair fixed with the tips from this video thanks alot before that it was kinda messy you know what i mean and now it's perfect just how I'd like it to be always. :)

Erin Kaye Ozga: Great video Robin You're absolutely right! Round brush = Volume

kneaf knoz: Hi Robin. Great video! Very helpful. Thanks for that. I wanna ask something: i m trying to do Quiff and everything looks like correct but my hair looks like STRINGY.. How can i fix that ? In addition to this, i think as a finisher high volume spray causes this. I'm not using right now because of that but my hair cant stay stable without spray.

MeowyMite: This is amazing! Thank you!

Raheem Tahir: Thank you very much for this, helped me so much

milo: Hey Robin are you still using the nioxin system or did you just use it for testing purposes? Thinking about purchasing it for myself.

thomas crawley: awesome vid robin best hair youtuber love it keep up the good work x

Bandit: what's a good budget friendly option or options for blow dryers

Naudi: Do I really need to use all the extra products? I only use wax and hairspray afterwards, so it keeps sitting the whole day. Oh and mayby a stupid question: is it more effective to use the wax on wet hair or dry hair?

Ali Hayat Lakhani: whats the best hair product for thick hair? btw, great video mate.

Shaqir Razak: Thanks Robin...if it wasn't for this video I wouldn't know how to use the roundbrush at all..Thanks again

Escobar Style1: Robin, with the bomber jacket... what size do you wear? I'm always a medium but of course "all mediums are not created equal" so I'm wondering if this is like a more slit fit or classic (loosely) style? I'm 5'7 169lbs athletic built if this helps. Thanks my friend . I don't like my coats super long or extra baggy on my stomach.

FazeiffyTurkey /:: Can you use this round brush with a regular hair dryer?

Mark Von winckelmann: love the content!
