Hey Ladies!
In this video, I want to show and explain the difference between the Denman D41 and D3 brush. I've had the D41 for a few years, but I recently found it while going through a box of old hair products. I was surprised to read on the package that the Denman D41 brush is ideal for thick and afro hair. So I decided to give the Denman D41 a try on wash day to detangle my hair. I was impressed with how well the Denman D41 detangled my hair. Based on the information I provide in this video, would you purchase a Denman D41 brush? If so or not leave a comment below and let's talk about it.
History about the Denman Brush:
The original Denman Brush was created in 1938 by John Denman Dean. Driven by a desire to help his sister style her fabulously curly yet unruly hair, John Denman Dean Created a revolutionary styling brush, now known as the D3. Click the link below to read more about the history of Denman Inc.

a.girl.has.many.plants: D41 is made to detangle D3 is used to style Def worth using both for what they were made for.
Asherraa R.: I have a D4 and a D31. I feel as though the D4 blasted my curls apart every time I used it. The D31 gave bigger clumps...fatter clumps—that works way better to style and detangle just as you suggest, imo. For the wavy portion of my hair, that is. I actually really like my D31 (Freeform 7 row) and find myself reaching for that one for styling pretty often.
Leah Sletzion: Great stuff! Do you recommend the d41 or d31 for 3b/3c curls for detangling?
D: I like it when my curls have less clumps bc then it has more volume without me having to detangle it with my fingers. Do you think D31/D41 is better for less clumps than D3/D4?
Neny19: D41 hurts bad. It’s rough, definitely recommend D3 especially for styling
Marissa Williams: According to the website d41 and d31 is for kinky hair and the d3 and d4 is for wavy curly
Gaynelle Patrick: I would definitely have two different brushes! Quick question: how does the D41 do with clumping curls??
Joanna: I have a ION brand from sallys for only 7.99 and its a dupe same quality different brand. When I blow dry my hair it pulls it. So I open the brush and took out 4 rows of bristles and there is no pulling when I blow dry.
barbara griffith: Could you demonstrate the D41?
Mawlee: These brushes are not for detangling. Use these brushes for curl definition/styling and distributing product after you have detangled. I’m transitioning my hair right now and I bought one. My hair is a short bob right now, I have fine 3a curls and learning how to grow it stronger and longer. I love this brush. I have the D3 7 row. The less rows, the bigger the curl so I kept all rows because my fine hair takes encouraging to get curl pattern to stay in place.
Natalia Pola: so with wavy hair such as mine, I guess I will do with the d3
ceren yılmaz: Im a stranger I have dyed and permed long hair do you think I should buy denman brush d3 or d4?
Sandra Madeleine Tanoh: I looked everywhere on Denman Website the D41 is not from them.
Saras Photobox: I have D4 brush is that ok for detangling
lowkeymoon: looking at reviews from denman brushes but these prices chilee
