Photoshop & Adobe Fresco Brushes For Painting Hair (June 2019)

Today I'll be demonstrating some of my custom Photoshop brushes for you, these are brushes that paint, hair and fur if you're interested in downloading these brushes there's a link in the video description in the hair and fur category. I'M gon na choose soft medium hair. I'M gon na choose a hair color here, like a brown and I'll go ahead and paint a stroke. Now I'm using the Wacom Pro pen and I can change the angle of my pen to change the angle of the hair like so that's because this pen supports the pen tilt. There are other pens that can support pen tilt. If you have pen tilt and you'll be able to do this, if you don't have pen tilt, then this brush is gon na spray out the hair and only one angle. So the way that you would use this brush is you would just build up the hair like this overlapping it on itself, and there you go. You got an instant foxtail. You can also change the size of the brush to get smaller finer hair and, of course, you could change the color of the hair. If you wanted this brownish color, you could have something like that: let's try the next brush and that is soft short hair. Now this hair kind of fans out in a radial pattern, so you would use this for a shorter hair. Of course you can make the brush smaller and you can get smaller finer hair or you can make it bigger and you can get bigger, broader hair. Let'S try thick long hair. This is another brush that supports a pen tilt. So, as I tilt my pen, I can change the direction of the hair, so this sprays out really long thick hairs, really bristly hairs like maybe something that you'd have on the mane of a zebra or something like that or maybe it could be porcupine quills. You might even find, if you're doing landscapes, that these brushes would work for a landscape as well. This could just as easily be a grass brush, as could any of these brushes. Really, let's try thick I'm here. Next I'll go back to a fur color here, we'll paint with this brush. It also supports pen tilt. So I can angle the hair very easily. You could, of course, combine these together, so we could add some soft medium hair to this and kind of build it up to have different kinds of hair for our animals and last in the hair. In for a category, we have thick short hair. This gives me shorter, hair, that's thicker, so there you go. Those are some of the custom brushes I created for Photoshop.
