Recreating Cassie'S Iconic Bubble Braid From Euphoria Using Zala Extensions!

What'S up you guys, it's your girl, angela welcome back to my channel and to another super easy lazy, girl, hair tutorial featuring none other than zola hair extensions. Look from euphoria now, i know a little bit late to the game. I didn't start watching euphoria until a few weeks ago and then i was hooked now, i'm team maddie all the way. Okay, maddie is that girl and i will stand beside her, but cassie had some looks, especially at the end of the season. So i have to give credit where credit is due, and this one was by far my favorite and it's. This ponytail meets braid, meets tussled hair. Look that i'm just so obsessed with it was so easy to recreate. So i cannot wait to show you how it's done, but before we get into today's video i just wanted to let you know that my coupon code is still valid. So this is the length of my natural hair, short and sweet, but clearly not enough length for the cassie ponytail we're going for so the most important thing we're going to need is our zala clip in ponytail extension, and let me take a step back, so you Can see how long this bad boy actually is? I have this ponytail in every length that zala offers. So i can't remember off the top of my head what length this is, but all details about this ponytail will be listed down below from the shade the length everything direct link, coupon codes. Everything will be down below so don't forget to check the description box. So this is number one can't do anything without this, then we're gon na need some elastics. We'Re gon na need some sticky ones for the actual ponytail and some baby ones for the bubble. Braid effect that we are doing we're also going to need some bobby pins. As always, i pretty much use bobby pins in every look that i do, but for this look they are absolutely crucial. I am using these thicker because i'm not really sure what they're called, but let me compare the size of a regular bobby pin so this. Oh, this is a regular bobby pin, and this is the bobby pin or the bobby pins that i'm going to use. So, as you can see, they are, you know quite different in size, but i find that these really anchor the poof down better. So that's what we're going to use for the optional products. We have dry texturizing spray. Now my hair is freshly washed. So i'm definitely going to need this around the crown part of my head to make sure that my look stays and my poof stands hide attention and doesn't fall flat, and i also love a good working hairspray and by working hairspray i mean a hairspray that doesn't Dry crunchy and hard and you're able to brush it out after this is my absolute favorite. So i'm going to use it for this look you're also going to need a rat tail comb to give yourself a nice middle part and last, but probably not last, because i'm sure i forgot something and i'm going to have to run to my other bathroom to Grab it, but a nice little curling iron you can use whatever size you want to curl those front pieces like cassie has in the photo. So the first thing i'm going to do is grab my dry texturizing spray and give my front pieces a little bit more grittiness and texture. This is not a polished, look by any means, so the dirtier the better. Then i'm going to grab my rat tail comb and give myself a middle part. You don't have to go all the way back. You really just need it for the front pieces and my hair is pretty much already in the middle part. So i don't have to do too much work, so next, i'm going to use the other side of my comb, the actual comb part and pull out some little hairs in the front. Her front pieces are pretty short, so i'm not trying to grab any long pieces. I really want them to be. You know pretty pretty short. Once we pull out those cute little front pieces, we are ready to travel back in time to 2006 and do our poof. That booth was iconic sis, so we are going to make sure that we are careful in avoiding those front pieces that we just pulled out, i'm going from about an inch above my ears and then pulling this hair back. I think this looks pretty pretty good. Now. We'Re just going to push the hair towards the front of our head and grab our first thick bobby, pin and just anchor that bad boy down. Don'T worry if it's not perfect at this point, once we have our ponytail in, we can pull some pieces forward and make this as poofy as we want. But i think this is pretty good for now. So next we're going to grab our thick hair elastic and start our pony. I think in the picture her pony started like right below her bobby pins yeah. Her ponytail is pretty pretty high. So that's what we're gon na go for being careful to actually avoid those bobby pins, because you don't want to pull those bobby pins out with our ponytail by accident. So just gon na grab my comb and get those big bumps out. So now is the fun part. We are ready to install our zala ponytail and, as you can see, there is a little clip in the middle of the ponytail, as well as a velcro piece along the base and then a skinny piece that we're going to use to wrap around the entire thing. Once we're done anchoring this to our ponytail, so i'm going to grab that comb and kind of wiggle it in to the base of my ponytail and once i feel it's secure, i'm going to wrap this skinny piece along the base and then use the rest of The hair to conceal where my hair ends and the ponytail begins once that piece is wrapped around i'm just gon na grab a bobby, pin and secure it okay. So now we should have something like this and because we just added some weight with our ponytail, our pieces might be a little messed up in the front. So that's an easy fix. All you have to do is just tug on them to give them the shape that you want, and this is what we have so far. Next is the super fun part, so we're going to grab some of our baby hair ties that we have here, these little guys we're going to start creating the braid and also, if you're, somebody that has trouble concealing your short hair in your ponytail because of a Blonde cut: this is going to be perfect for you, because it's just going to adhere your hair to the ponytail okay. So what we're going to do is we're going to take one of these baby elastics and tie it around here. We'Re not starting too high up. We'Re starting a few inches down like this and then we're gon na tug on it a little bit to give it some extra volume and create that round shape that cassie has and we're gon na take another one. We'Re gon na do the same thing all the way down, so now that i got that one out of the way i could go to the side about here and do the same thing once you tie it to the portion of hair. You want to just pull on the sides and create some volume like that. We'Re going to do this all the way down do how cute is that? Okay, oh my gosh! I love this so much. This is so cute. This is so perfect for summer. Oh, my gosh, i'm so obsessed, i'm so obsessed and the last step is just curling our little front pieces and that's it. It'S literally a five minute hairstyle that looks like it took you so much longer. So, let's just heat up this curling iron and curl up these front pieces, while we're waiting for our curling iron to heat up, i'm just going to hit my little poof with some working hairspray come on heat up faster, and that is it. How cute is this? Let me just go change into my cassie inspired outfit and i will be right back, and this is the final look in the show.
