#TiedHair #ManBun #BluMaan

All right boys i'm a little bit under the weather today, so let's just make it a quick and simple video, let's get into it so like. I know this video seems kind of dumb kind of pointless like tying your hair up, it's like the easiest thing ever. Anyone can do it and you don't need brain cells to tie a hair up, and i agree it's pretty simple, but you'd be surprised as to how many questions i get about it and how many little things that most people don't know about that actually help with Being able to tie your hair, there's loads of reasons you might want to bun you just like the way it looks it's style. It gives you options, but also convenience. Man like at the gym. I can't deal with my hair being done. It'S literally impossible. It just makes me hot sweaty just gets in the way it gets me distracted. Ah, it's the worst, so it's like an essential skill to have if you have medium to long hair, let's start with who can actually tie the hair. Obviously, a lot of you guys who watch this channel have medium to longish hair or are probably going to find this video, because you have long hair and the likelihood is, you can already tie some sort of bun. The most important part about tying a bun is having hair long enough to tie a bun right depending on how long your hair is, and what stage of your hair growth you're at will depend on the bun that you have, and i really do think you should Choose wisely, depending on your hair length, the longer it is the more flexible your options, but that doesn't necessarily mean that all the looks look best on you unless your hair is like super fast, are growing if you've been growing your hair out only for like six Months, the likelihood is, if you can tie a bun, it's going to be one of them little onion buns, which i'm really not a big fan of. I mean that's my personal opinion, if you like them by all means, please do rock them, but my personal opinion is those little onion buns that you see some people wear like just a tiny little bun. At the end, i mean it's good for convenience sake like if you're at the gym, fair game but like from an aesthetic point of view. It'S not my favorite. If you want like a a bun like an actual bun you're, looking more at the nine to one year mark and even then you'll have a low bun low bun, because your hair won't reach the top when you put it into a bun. So it's gon na have to be a smaller low bun. There are some ways around this. If you can see from this picture here, this was probably around the one year mark and i had a half up half down and at this hair length i actually really liked this style, unlike my hair length, now, which i don't like the style as much because I find it kind of just makes me look like. I still have my hair down, but it's just thinner because there's less of it down, although i do have to say that if i'm just walking around - and i do want my hair down in general - but like my hair's in my face - it's quite a nice little Way of like temporarily getting it out of my face yeah, so the half up, half down and the smaller buns lower down, would be from around the six month to the one year mark i'd, say: leaning towards the one year. The high bonds, which is like the main man buns that you see around for people who have long hair you're looking more between the one year and two year mark i've, been growing my hair up for over two years, and i still can't get all of my Hair into a high bun, as you can see from these little bits that i haven't been able to grow out yet they're, almost there they're, almost there but they're not there. Yet i end up using these little bobby pins, which i totally recommend for little scragglers like that. Now, when it comes to the actual technique, i've shown you how it's done, but there's a lot of things that actually help, and the main thing that i have to say helps me with my buns is priming my hair and pre-styling my hair, so that it's ready For a bun, i've come out of the shower, i could let it air dry or i could just blow dry it, but doing so is just gon na mean that it's gon na end up a puffy mess. This is what it ends up looking at. If that's what i do and it's just not it's just not good for a bun, because then you have all these fly aways all over the place. I would not recommend it. What i would recommend is some products that will help you control and tame your hair, and luckily this video is sponsored by blue men. But if you know anything about me, i actually love their products. I'Ve been preaching about them even before i've been sponsored. So this just kind of worked out nicely for me, but the products i'm about to show you are genuinely a great combination for anyone who wants to have really like nice, healthy, tamed, hair. I'Ve come out of the shower. I'Ve got wet hair. I use blue man's cloud control. It'S a brilliant product. I love this product. It'S by far my favorite hair oil. It'S actually considered a hair tonic, seeing as there's many oils put into one just helps so much with keeping your hair looking hydrated de-frizzing, just everything about it is great, but that alone, i wouldn't say, gives me the most amount of control and that's where the ascend Volume cream comes in play. I love this cream, even though in the instructions it does say that you should mainly use it in dry hair for volume. I find that when you have longer hair, i actually prefer using it as a pre-styler in wet hair, and it ends up just helping me control my hair. So much more. These parts on the side of my hair. They usually stick up. If you see some of my other videos where i've just been lazy - and i'm not gon na lie most of the time, i'm making one of these videos, i don't really get ready for it. I'M just a bit lazy. These parts of my hair sticking out. They still do that, but because i have this in my hair they're slicked back, and you can't even tell that that's a problem i usually have to deal with really great for hair control would definitely recommend this product as well. And, lastly, is the styling mask pomade and goddamn? I do love this product. It does a similar thing to this and volume cream, in that it helps me control my hair a little bit more, but also it gives me that slightly naturally hydrated shine to it, which i love and also it's a mask. So not only is it helping me control my hair, but it's also helping me keep my hair healthy with all the richness that all these ingredients have basically taken care of my hair. Whilst it's in my hair and i love that it just smells so good, it's so easy to apply and yeah really great product. I would totally recommend blue man if you guys, are interested in checking them out. Please use the discount code. George j org, as seen on screen for 10 off at checkout, you can also click the link in the description, an essential thing for some of you guys out there when tying up your hair will be brushes. Now it really will depend on your hair type and also how dry your hair is at the time, but i would absolutely recommend brushes to sometimes really pull back the hair straighten them out. I have naturally wavy hair, so i occasionally do like using these using those products. I just talked about helps me kind of keep it a bit smoother. But if i, if i have like third or fourth day, hair i'll, absolutely need one of these products to help me pull back my hair and really keep it nice and slick. So brushes is essential, for you guys have curly, hair or even just want a little bit more of a loose bun that isn't quite as tight. It hurts your scalp or whatever i'd absolutely recommend. One of these kind of i don't know what they're called but they're like these slinky bands, they're really good for just like you, don't really feel like there's anything holding your hair, so you guys are complaining about headaches. It'S perfect! The bands i used to struggle so much with bands because they used to just feel so tight, but i got these ones from amazon, i'll link them in the description below they're biodegradable, but they're like this double layer thing i don't know it's they're, really soft. I find them so much better for holding my hair. It'S a lot less abrasion as well. I don't know i recommend getting some nice bands because it does make a difference, especially if you're tying up your hair. A lot isn't so much tying your hairs holding your hair, but i would also recommend getting one of these kind of bands, which are also linked in the description amazon. This kind specifically because they're the only ones that actually work they're just really great, for getting hair out of your face, and, lastly, what i'm currently wearing my new favorite addition i don't use to wear on many of these - is a clip right, a big old clip. If your head's shorter, you only need a smaller clip, but it just feels so much better with holding my head. One thing i find when holding my hair with a band is that if i've been wearing it for a long time, it really does create like a kink in my hair, which is pretty much impossible to get rid of. Unless i a apply heat, which i don't really want to do or b wash it again, but with this it keeps my hair like pretty much the same as it was before. All you got to do is twist it up and then clip it and it's the easiest thing ever so yeah. I don't think there's much else to be said about tying up your hair i'll, see you in the next video guys: peace,
