Detangling Natural Hair http://youtu.be/lHeTKj-7gvw

Hey YouTube: it's called Co natural here on my journey here. I'Ve learned a little bit about the Denman brush. It is one of my favorite products to detangle hair. Here I have my Denman brush. It has gotten so much good use you guys. I love this thing, but what I've done is um, I'm actually going to show you what your Dimond brush - okay and it slides out very easily just kind of push with your thumb on the middle and it slides right out. Take this top put that to the side and you have the opportunity, as you can see your bristles. It comes with seven bristles, okay, seven rows of bristles and you can actually open this and you will see that you can actually remove as many bristles as you'd. Like on your Dimond brush, okay, I am actually going to my hair - is not that thick. If you have very coarse hair, it's really kinky. You have tight curls it really. You have a hard time with seven rows of bristles. I would even take out two here to there and it leaves you with three, but what I'm going to actually do is just take out every other bristle that I have I'm going to start with the one in the middle. Let'S remove that row and then I'm going to take out this one here in the middle and then I'm going to take out this middle and those are actually the three you could leave in or they have the ends and then one right in the middle. If you wanted to, but I'm going to leave four rows for myself, my hair, it loves the Dimond brush and but I do like to have a little bit more space. Those seven rows of bristles is a lot tugging on your hair, so I just wanted to show you another way that you can manipulate your Denman brush, so I can put it back together and it just pushes right together, hold it together, as you slide as you Can see you can slide this right on and it slides right back together, very simple, very easy way, oops to manipulate you are dim in brush, so I'm going to put that back in there close it back. Okay and as you can see, I have four lovely rows of bristles now and I'm just going to keep the eath, of course not going to throw them away. My goodness. No so just keep those, but I have now four rows on my diamond brush. We wish to brush my hair, okay, so just another way to increase some of the tools that you already have in your journey to natural hair freedom have a wonderful day. Ladies

Kasumichick2772: Yeah this isn't easy as it seems. I literally cannot take my brush apart. I feel like its glued together or something

Jesse James: Thank you for the clear explanation! Super helpful.

Kenya Inez: This video is a blessing. I had two rows that sunk within the brush and had no clue on how to get them back in. I didn't know the brush portion slides out. I did not know you can open the brush by taking the back apart. I was able to place my rows back in. Thanks so much for this video.

Beauty For Ash: Thank you! My brush came apart and I didn't know how to put it back together but this helped!!!!!

blackpearl1378: Are you making sure the brush is slightly damp? Try that and see if it slides out easier like that. Let me know how that works out

Ariana Z: thank you for this!! i took a while taking it off but this helped a lot!

blackpearl1378: Thanks for watching @kellykelz Im so glad you were able to save your brush honey! We need to keep our coins for other things lol

Julianna Okike: I have kinky hair this definitely works on my tresses when detangling I also have another comb that is designed to do the same thing as it grows longer.

Allison Brackley: Mine was hard to take out and put back in the brush base, but this was super helpful. THANK YOU!!

Lola Williams: This was super helpful. One of my rows went in I pulled it apart but couldn't get the brush back in. Didn't know all I had to do was wet it! Thank you

C Garza: Thank you for this video. I struggled to put my brush back together until I saw to wet it in the comments. After I wet it, it slid back easily.

Andiee Bee: Thank you for posting this video! Very Helpful can't wait to do this to my denman brush :)

Empress222: did it! Thanks, very helpful video, i totally did't know i could slide it out like that.

Brittany Edwards: This video was super helpful thanks sooo much !

Loulou Willis: Thank you so much for this tutorial.

brynisha030506: I just bought a denman brush for first time and mine looks similar to that.. Actually identical except the part that opens and closes the bristle access looks a little different. Oh and mine does not slide on and off easily!!! I have had a hard time w this brush!! Getting it back together!! I hope the detangling goes better!

Beware the Lily of the Valley: Thank you for this! I've seen so many other videos where people use this brush and they just easily say, "Oh, I just removed the rows!" and had to wonder "Yeah...but how?!" XD! I fell in love with my brush initially but soon, I started having large clumps of hair in my brush after every use O_o So I stopped. Now with three of the rows removed, I'll try that and see if that's any better. Overall, I really like this brush and it's better than the wire brushes I used to use.

Kelly Kelz: Thank Youuuuuuuu. you literally saved my brush. I started cutting with the scissors lmao. omg. Thank you.

And_She_Was: Thank you! I knew they could be removed but mine was very tough to move out of place and I didn't know where to start.

QuionaMakesVideos: Thank you so much I couldn’t put it back together after getting it apart

DRIKA: Thank you for your precious post! I just bought my Danman e had no clue how to separate the rows!

Let’s Get Cooking With Lamise O: very helpful video. thank you!!!

PrometheanFlame: Same here. I had to lift it out actually so I could remove the bristles then it took a little effort to get it back on. I think it varies depending on the maker.

brynisha030506: Anyone having issues getting that brush back together like i had should oil the handle of the brush where the pink rubber slides on. I figured out that the problem was too much friction btw the plastic & rubber bristle part. After the oil, it slid on just like the video!

Your Karma: Thank you so much for this.

Helen Harris: Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!!!! I didn't even get from the company and I own three denmans. MY hair is getting longer and I still want to use my denman because a wide tooth comb doesn't get my hair smooth before twisting. So, thank you!!!!!

EJOCHI SOTA: Hey I didnt know you can remove that! the bad thing about this brush is the handle, when my hands are wet its slide all the time and its difficult to use it

Noor AlWaheed: Thank you

Delina Medhin: omgosh it worked so well. Adding water made it much easier.

Dee Musa: Thank you so much!!!!!

blackpearl1378: Thank for watching :-)

blackpearl1378: your so right EJOCHI. the brush is difficult to handle when wet!! lol

Pink: I'm having the hardest time sliding mine out of the brush

Juanita Renee: Thank You!!

Sainabou Saye: yeah mine is not that easy either lol you shoud have seen my face when hers went off so easily, i almost broke a nail the other day!

*K Goddess*: Such a struggle to get it back inside the brush

Gvdk: You saved my life!

Julianna Okike: I took out 3 rows I take them all out when cleaning it make it easier to remove the hair and product build up.

Sainabou Saye: oh! lol okay, thanks yeah it slid right off when it got wet, thank you!

Clara: Mine looks like this inside but I saw another video where the red rubber had two holes and not interlocking teeth. Are both legit?

Jaterrica Clerizier: What model is this Denman brush in its original state?!?! Thanks

Clélia Blaise: I'm channeling the strength of a mama lifting a car off her child, and it WILL. NOT. GO. BACK. IN. tried everything! Oil! Water! IT. WILL. NOT. GO. BACK. IN.

Isaiah Fuqua: The reason hers is alot easier to remove is because its a "knock-off" however I used qwotes because they All Work the same way :) the only differencr is the (gold brand name) across the back of the brush.

angie carroll: My brush says Denman, butI had to pull it from the front and it didn't look like hers on the inside.

beyondmystery: Hi! I recently got the Denman D41 after reading many comments about people saying that the D3 and D4 were hard for afro, thick hair (kind of my case, my hair is a bit mixed) the thing is that while it's ok to detangle, it doesn't define my curls as my old paddle brush (now broken) did , which has the rows disposed vertically closer. Apparently my curls like to stick really close together so I was wondering... would it be worth it to get a Denman D4 with closer rows? thank you!

Joycelyn Antwi: I have the nine row one but took out 4 rows

Morgan Beabout: Thank you mom

Veah F: Mine won’t come out like my dad even tried I have the same one

Imajulyer: I got aggressive cause it doesn't slide easily on and off and its a lie idk how or what kind of different brush you got but mine nah makes me aggressive.

blackpearl1378: @Nancy Brown ur so welcome!

talia841951: not that easy at all! I just did that to my Denman brush. I had to rip the rubber part out of the handle using force because mine doesn't slide out. I was afraid I was gonna ruin my brush. putting it back together took a lot of force. mine has like holes you need to hold together while sliding the rubber part into the handle part and it's definitely not easy. just hope you have strong hands.

blackpearl1378: Lol! yes maam :-) don't you love it??

Nehemie C.: 8 years later, HI YALLL

blackpearl1378: @lamise tanazy your welcome!

blackpearl1378: @saisaye YAY! lol
