Pov You Have Curly Hair:

He'S just like a girly yeah: did you just like roll out of bed this morning like? Did you not have enough time to get ready or something? No, why? Oh, i'm not trying to be mean or anything, but your hair literally looks like crazy. It'S like super frizzy and like it just looks like uncapped, but don't you worry, since you know me and lily are your besties? We have your back. Doesn'T her hair? Look crazy, lily, yeah yeah. Let me get a hairbrush for you. No, that's! That'S fine! You need to brush your hair out. You don't have lice right, though, because, like i don't want you to use my hair brush. If you have lights because you kind of look like you have lace, because you probably don't even wash your hair, if you can't even brush it, i don't have lace, you guys and also you can't brush curly hair. What do you mean you can't brush curly hair? That'S literally disgusting jessica. You have to brush your hair literally every day like what is wrong with you. I just don't. If you literally brush your hair out, it'll, be like really straight and pretty like mine and lily lily, just brush her hair for her like gosh. I don't know what her problem is. It'S going to get puffy, it will literally look pretty you're not going to get lucas. I know you like lucas, he's not going to like you with that messy hair you have going on like just brush it. It'Ll look fine

Allie Cheney: *You finally brush ur hair* “Omg you were right ur hair literally looks so bad and puffy.”

Mariposa C: “If you literally brush your hair out-“ “If you literally leave me alone...”

dick ninja: "Do you curl it like every morning??" "Is it natural?" "Can I touch it" **touches without even asking** **runs fingers through hair** "You look like a sheep" "You look better with straight hair" "Is it real?" "How do you make it curly?"

Challayna: I have curly hair and everyone’s like “omg your hair is so crazy”

Halle Games: this literally gave me flashbacks. for years i always tied my hair up cause i didn’t want to have to deal with this

XxSunFlxwerxX: POV: you need REAL friends.

AwhxVi 🇺🇦 #back yay!: This is legit what I go through EVERyDaY✨✨ It’s always the: “Uhm Violet did you even brush ur hair this morning!?”

Hannah Diodati: My hair was always really thick and super frizzy growing up. I had curly/wavy pieces underneath and straight pieces on top. I tried every styling trick I could think of, but people always looked at me like I didn’t brush it or I was doing something wrong. I got a perm a few months ago (even though everyone told me it would look frizzy and terrible) and I love it! It just made sense for me and my hair. I should have realized sooner that just brushing my hair and expecting it to stay straight was not realistic for me

landofmomo: throwback to when my "best friend" told me i looked like a "monster" when i brushed my curly hair out and also constantly made subtle insults trying to imply i didn't comb or brush my hair :) so happy my best friend now tells me my hair looks beautiful when it's in any state <3

Fatima💚💙: “POV you have curly hair“ Me with curly hair:

paigexo: as someone with curly hair i can feel jessica’s pain when they say they want to brush her hair because it will not be “straight and perfect” it will be extremely frizzy and puffy and look absolutely horrid

Misakii Yashiro: Omg this is so relatable on like another level- I remember this one time back in 6th grade where I had my hair down(it's naturally curly)and I had put cream on it so it won't look frizzy. Now,little backstory:at the time I was near the end of my finals now,my school they divides the classes based on the first letter of your name so you're with random people from your whole grade(also my school is divided in half one part is girls only(which I'm in) and the other is girls and boys,we usually call it "Co school").so there was this one girl from Co school who Always sat behind me in finals(you don't choose your seat btw) and well she was always known as annoying. So anyway we were all sitting waiting to get the exam papers, some were revising and some were just talking but me being the outcast I am wasn't talking to anyone and just looking around awkwardly, suddenly I hear someone say my name so I turn around and there's that annoying girl(let's call her Emily),so I look at her and here's when the conversation starts Emily:Hey what did you do to your hair it looks so bad! Me:oh I just have it down instead of putting it in a ponytail Emily:it looks horrible, wait let me brush it for you Me:actually I can't brush it that will ruin the curls Emily:No no it will look fine just let me brush it Me:No I wont, like I already said I can't brush curly hair unless it's wet. Emily:c'mon I'm just trying to help you Me:No girl you can't also I don't like, others touching my hair so just leave it like this. Emily:ok jeez just giving you some advice Also the reason I was being nice to her in the beginning is just because I don't know how to deal with rude people like her(usually my bsf is there to help me but as I said my school divides us)so after that conversation I just turned around and waited for my exam paper.

KaeyaSimp: i can def relate, through most of elementary and all of middle school i was flat ironing my hair every day but i never used heat protection and i fried it badly. but i decided to cut it short and ive learned to embrace my curly hair and its looking so much more healthy now

Chiaki nanami <3: As someone with curly hair this is extremely true- I can feel Jessica’s pain

ResoluteCat: This is why in high school I wasn’t caught dead without my hair straightened. I was so self conscious of it. Now I love my curls and I wish teenager me could’ve felt the same

Cloudy_daisy ♪: As someone with curly hair, this is so true and sad at the same time Edit: for the people that have really curly hair like me, you know the pain of having messy puffy hair. And people think it’s so cute and stuff but it’s a pain in the butt

Wambo #5: As someone with curly hair, I mostly got compliments on it growing up. Naturally, there were a few people who would call me a poodle, or ask why I never straightened it, but mostly positive reviews. One thing that was pretty annoying was random people started always touching it out of nowhere when I was a kid. Like, get y'all's smelly, greasy, cheeto dust fingertips out of my nice smelling hair lmao.

WistfulWriterThingy: As a curly haired girl . . . painfully accurate. Once I got my mum to straighten my hair, succumbing to peer pressure, and that day my favourite teacher told me that though I look nice, my curly hair was even better. He proceeded to tell me that he tried straightening his hair too and it literally popped up by the end of the day. I felt so much better about myself after that conversation. I honestly find that curly hair has so much personality and straight-haired people need to stop talking about my 'bushy' hair. And stop waiting for me to rub my hands in my hair after I wash them in the loo!

Anime&Bts Simp: Actually having curly hair I never had this problem. Everyone always thought it was very pretty. So unlike others I never straitened it cuz I am proud of my hair!

WestWishGirl: I do have curly hair, this is so true omg

Katsuki Bakugo: The way she said “it’ll look straight and pretty like mine” as if curly hair isn’t absolutely gorgeous.

Savannah Lewis: I love the “hey Jessica gworly” especially when she says it extra dramatic

Shanequabumblebee: Ugh brings back some bad jhs memories when I finally decided to stop attempting to straighten my hair to fit in (straightening never really worked really well anyway and was SO damaging to my hair). After I went natural I got bullied about it for a few years though I also got plenty of compliments which helped. I did end up having to demonstrate why I couldn't brush my hair to my straight haired friends though one night when they slept over so they'd finally understand that even if the wind messes up my hair like with the car window down... Brushing it will only make it far worse

Rose Callahan: As someone with curly hair I can say that this is absolutely true and literally one of the girls at my school said the exact same thing

Cereal Box: i was naturally born with straight hair but in the 2nd grade i caught lice from playing with classmates. so my mom placed something in my hair to get rid of the lice. it worked and got rid of the lice but literally ruined my hair in the process. my hair from then on was just puffy and curly. years later, i still wish my hair would be back to how it once was. me and my parents have no solution but to just live with it. i shower two times a day but only wash my hair every two or three days and only brush my hair in the shower because it would get puffy if it was dry. i have this online friend who had the same problem as me. she was born with straight hair, but it got ruined and turned into the same condition as mine when she was 4, she placed vaseline on her hair lmfao (SHE WAS 4, WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?). anyways, i hope someone reads this comment and can tell me if theres a solution to at least control my hair, maybe possibly transform it back to how it was before :) also, straightening my hair doesn't work. it makes it even more puffy for some reason, i guess my hair is damaged for life so r.i.p

The Wrong Music: Whenever I straightened my hair in middle school I would get told, "Wow, you finally listened to me and brushed your hair! You look so much better!".

InkaZen •: Tip for people with curly hair!! If you're worried about frizz, add coconut oil to whatever hair product you use if you use something with it. It moisturizes it and can keep frizz down. Pretty sure you can also use it in liquid format if you don't use products. Don't use too much though :)

yoitsjac: I used to think that my curly hair was ugly, because that's what was always being pressured on me. People always told me to straighten my hair, but I slowly changed my mind as soon as I had friends who also had curly hair, and we just saw the beauty in each other. I don't ever wanna change my hair now.

sandra k: One guy said my hair looked like a tree I'm still recovering

Fatima Ali: bro the confidence level u achieve when u straighten ur hair is literally unmatched.

GIGI ᜊ: never trust your straight haired friends when they talk about hair. i mean it. edit: guys if someone you know happens to have experience w different hair types that's fine but everyone's hair is different so one bit of advice isn't guaranteed to work on everyone. i'm just saying that some people don't understand the weight of curly hair.

Hot Chocolate: I have wavy hair, but somehow this applies to me too. My hair is always, like, messy if I do it up but my mom says "No, don't leave it down!" so i have to go to school looking like i didnt brush my hair at all.

_Sphinxy_: When you actually have curly hair, I actually found this angering

Possum Handler: This is the most relatable thing ive seen all day. My friends always criticize me for curly, puffy, frizzy hair.

Autumn: My mom used to cut my hair off, thin it out, and straighten it constantly, she never even taught me to wash my hair correctly. So from the time she started doing this from when I was 5 to the 7th grade to keep my curls “tamed” and “prettier” my hair was absolutely destroyed. It felt like hay according to my friend. So when quarantine started abs I noticed my hair still curled pretty okay with just leave in I started learning to take care of it and no more straightening. Right now I’m trying to go a year without using any heat and learning what works best in my curls:)

♡ 乙卂丨♡: As someone who has natural curly hair, this is to relatable ✋-

Pink Lemonade: I only have wavy hair, which I would spend 20 minutes brushing every morning before school, and I still managed to collect completely unsolicited hair advice from almost every girl in my class. I'd just be sitting in class trying to do my hw and some girl that I never even talk to would make her way across the room to ask me if I've ever tried conditioner.

Ditzy Rose: I have slightly wavy hair that always re-poofs within 5 minutes of brushing. I found that wide-tooth combs and finger detangling works way better than a flat brush.

timothèe: *me who finally feels happy of my hair after combing it* My sister: “oh my god, didn’t u comb ur hair? ” Me: “yeah ”

Glide gaming: Having blonde curly hair, I hear these all the time: Is it natural? How did you get it like that? Have you tried straightening that? Man that sucks not being able to brush it. What curling iron do you use? It would look good curly if it was not so frizzy.

Tea the bee: As someone with straight hair I love curly hair and I'm so glad I actually know how hair works This mindset is dumb as hell im also also everyone with curly hair you're gorgeous, plus your hair is so beautiful :))

• 𝚝 𝚎 𝚍 𝚍 𝚢 •: This happened to me. I straightened my hair for picture day and my “best friend” says “Omg! You finally found your hairbrush!” This girl has greasy ass stringy hair so I said “I see you haven’t found your shower yet. Do you need a picture so you know what it looks like?” She didn’t talk to me after that ‍♀️

Ravenclaw's Fox: As someone who had curly hair, I can confirm- Curly hair brushed out = puffy hair and hell. It doesn’t come down until you wash it again. So basically, trust the girl with curly hair! It looks better not combed✨

Frosty and me !!: My friends keep complementing me for my curly hair, cuz they love it how puffy and curly it is, it's sometimes nice to feel how special curly hair is

Minty Cloudzz: This is my daily struggle. SOME people think of curly hair as a “disease” and not a gift. It makes me sad to hear it lol

Ash Good: I don’t specifically have curly hair I would say it’s frizzy and rough!. When I was a baby and toddler I had a full head of curly hair and luckily with some home remedies I got it to be a bit less frizzy cuz it had a tons of frizz with the curl, then my sis was blessed with silky wavy shiny hair and when I was 6-7 I was sooo jealous lol I love her btw now

♡︎ joyra97 ♡︎: someone in my class did this to me and her hair looked absolutely AWFUL that day. i had a bit messy of hair because i had literally JUST took off my hat. she said “uhm.. do you need a brush or something? your hair is so frizzy and all over the place.” and basically i said to her “maybe you should worry about your *own* hair before worrying about *mine* because.. girl… what are you doing?”

AyaFox: I've got those types of curls, literally if I tried to brush my hair when it's try I'll end up with the white people hair equivalent of an afro, but if I brush my hair when it's wet I get wonderful Hollywood curls. The frize is just kinda like a side effect you can only do so much to get rid of

Alexander Valcarse: I can DEFINITELY relate, I swear I just have my curly hair down and yes maybe it may get a little puffy but I don't mind it, still my mother tells me to put it up as it looks bad to her.

Serafina Montana ( Student ): Literally one day of my natural curly hair and a boy tells me that the 80’s called and they want my hair back

Rainy17 UvU: Hu, curly haired person here: for those who don't understand, if you brush curly hair it separates the curls and makes your hair look frizzy and poofy like if you've been in a humid room all day. I use a curl control cream after I shower and when my hair frizzes up I just spray it with water to reactivate the product

Kadence MacCormack: I have have curly hair, and all I can say is that everyone I met says that curly hair is so much prettier than their straight hair. That could very well just be a personal experience, but also, if you try to brush curly hair while it's dry it will get so freaking frizzy and poufy

Emma Bean: My mom straighten my hair every morning when I went to my old school. She said she did it because they was “easier to manage” (found out that was a lie a while ago) but when I started wearing my hair with its natural curls people thought I got a perm.

Tess Lily Stewart: This reminds me of when I won a competition for crazy hair at school when everyone else turned up with colourful hair and I legit just had nice curls

Pexie: My past insecurity became a trend, when I was in elementary school. My classmates used to make fun of my hair and gave me a dirty look, I had a bad relationship with my curly hair because i always wanted a straight hair…I’ve made keratin treatment many times and it burnt my hair..Lately, I’ve been scrolling through instagram and many many models have beautiful and natural curly hair..This made me love my own curly hair Curly hair forever ‍ ❤️

Lillie The Royal Witch: As a curly haired middle schooler, I painfully relate.

Rainestorm: Honestly as someone with semi curly hair (more wavy but still gets incredibly frizzy when brushed lol) I usually don’t brush my hair too much unless it’s either wet or have some kind of hair cream in it lol

Yves : Literally my mother and the entirety of the school staff. I literally grew up thinking I had kinda wavy straight hair. I cut my hair off and deep conditioned to find out I have really pretty curls, which I'm forced to flatten for school because they think curly hair is some sort of myth or something. I got my curls from my dad but he's almost bald now. And my mom does not believe me and does not want me to look like my dad back when they dated (same hair length and everything) so I have frizzy flat hair ✌️

Hazel_May07: As someone with curly hair I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve had to tell people You can’t brush curly hair

FeverZone: As someone with curly hair, brushing your curly hair with a hairbrush without water will only make it extremely frizzy lol

𝓛𝓪𝔂𝓵𝓪 🎗: As a person with really curly hair,I confirm that brushing it out does NOT make it stringy or straightened.

MRY: I swear, in elementary and middle school I was bullied for my curly hair, so I always brushed it out, resulting with it being badly frizzy. Only one year ago did started to embrace my curls. The funny thing is that now it's trend to have curls, thanks I guess

Wowie It’s Sam: My mother has slightly wavy hair and my dad has curly but extremely short hair, so neither of my parents knew how to take care of curly hair. Cue ages 0-12 of being told and forced to brush out my hair every day, having just a frizzy ugly mess all the time. I wondered why my curly hair was so bad and why I couldn’t have straight hair like all the pretty girls. Thank god for the internet, where I learned how to actually care for it. I still get my mom from time-to-time asking me if i brushed my hair because it “looks frizzy” (as if frizzing it more would help?) and my dad trying to save a couple bucks by buying random (bad quality for curly hair) shampoos, but I’m so much happier. Parents - learn how to take care of your kid’s hair!!!

AdorbsRxby: For me some of my friends tell me I should brush my hair to make it look “better” but they usually appreciate my hair for how it naturally looks and the only annoying thing is that everyone always wants to touch my hair

Taylor’s 4th cat🧣: No literally one time in 4th grade or whatever a girl came up to me and said “you know just because you were out sick yesterday, doesn’t mean you don’t need to brush your hair today ”

Fiz Bun: The comments make me so so so so happy I have like curly hair and I’ve been feeling insecure about it lately and just seeing all of these people talk about how gorgeous curly hair is makes me so so so so happy

Y●_●Y: Honestly I'm glad I have friends that aren't like this they only help me out when a peace of hair is wonky

Noah King: I don't have curly hair but my bestie does and for YEARS her hair used to be SUPER puffy and messy because her grandma brushed her hair out (She lived with her grandma instead of her parents, and her grandma had no experience with curly hair) and it took until my friend was around twelve for her grandma to realise brushing it right after a shower seemed to work better. I had to introduce them to the concept of a wide-toothed comb when my friend was SIXTEEN. Ive known her since we were FOUR. There is SO little known about curly hair it's unreal-

twicely: i can relate, i brush my hair out and i become a puffball (i have curly hair)

SonicFanGal: As someone with curly hair, this was all I grew up around. Family and friends did this to me constantly! I started straightening my hair all the time when I was 12. Since I was 17, I've decided to start loving my curly hair and embracing Whatever hair type you love, love it girls (and guys) because there are other people who'd love to have yours ❤️

Tunafishyfish : i live with the hair straightener in my hand lmao

Esperanza Johnson: POV: this happens all the time at school and you get made fun of for it constantly bc of your curly poofy hair.

Flamy: "Just brush it it will look fine" Me after brushing my hair without any water:

-♎️Libra♎️-: Actually, there’s a brush made for curly hair, I use it for my curly hair, and I can brush it out when it’s dry, and it will still be curly, no poof whatsoever. So you can brush curly hair if u have the right brush.

Episode Story Addict: As someone with curly hair if I had a “friend” who was saying this to me I would’ve been so mad and sad ‘and chad isn’t gonna like someone with flat ass hair’ lol

Grace Graham: I most definitely feel this on a HUGE level… I honestly will pop off on anyone who tells me this from now on

Kota_Caylor: God, as someone with naturally curly hair I detest the words “frizzy” and “messy” because that’s all people would use to describe my hair. I would spent hours trying to get it to behave in the mornings. Half the time I actually thought it looked cute.

Lizzie: Because of my curls, I usually put in specific leave in conditioner to keep it moisturized. It leaves little white dots in my hair, and kids would call me out for having “lice”. I’ve never had lice in my life bro.

JingoCrochet: oh i god i remember people telling me my hair is 'too frizzy' :( i would straighten the living hell out of my hair it was so damaged in middle school, it wasnt until high school when i quit using my straightener and just embraced my natural hair

Book lover: My mom has thin, straight hair and didn’t know what to do with me and my sisters hair because we all had curly hair. She would brush it everyday while we complained about how much it hurt and then when it got frizzy (every time) she would slick it back into a ponytail with a ton of gel and hair spray to make it look half way decent. It was a nightmare until my older sister discovered YouTube and curly haircare videos.

Pinkcards: I remember a rude girl trying to talk me into this in elementary school but I think I just allowed it to happen because having my hair played with was relaxing

Little Girl: As a curly haired person this video triggers me on a spiritual level

InkaZen •: This is why I'm glad I'm like one of the five people at my school with curly hair. I have ringlet curls and all people ever do is ask if it's natural and play with it. Or those who'll say it's pretty. I get super insecure about the frizz at times. Curly hair is so pretty I hate it when people ridicule it like curls are actually really pretty; frizz or no frizz

Nina Scott: As a person with curly hair I can say that I can brush my hair in water, but when dry, absolutely not

PopstarPigs: Me when I brush my curly hair: *The lion has entered the chat*

Wofie : "what's wrong with your hair" the one day growing up I mustered the confidence to wear my hair natural to school

Sarah riddle: As someone with curly hair I would have said "do you really want me to look like mufasa"

Celina Brost: I have curly hair and this is relateable, and whenever I brush my hair it,looks like I'm Hermione granger and I put my hair inside a hair dryer and my hair is stadicy.

Forever: For my wavy hair, brushing then wetting your hand and tapping your hair helps.

Grace Stitzer: As someone with a combination of curly and wavy hair, this hits hard! I had a friend try to tame it with coconut oil once before we went to an event, and she used so much that I looked like I hadn't washed my hair in weeks!

ShuaTock: I’m a guy, ladies. I’m telling you. Hair has to have shape to be attractive. Curly hair always has shape

성현진 :D: I remember when some means girls were trying to make “straight “ my hair and I was like : ‍♀️ they grab my hair and I was so tired of that and I say : STOP BOTHERING ME ITS NOT GONNA BE STRAIGHT IDI0TS And they start crying ...For real

Olivia Holbrook: Ok, I have curly hair and it will never cease to amaze me the amount of people who will say, "OMG! I wish I had your hair! Have you ever thought of straightening it?" Or like how many people act like they know how to care for your hair better than you.

Eileen Rolph: I had almost this exact conversation in middle school except I didn’t really know the girl and I said “if you value your fingers don’t touch my hair.” I somehow managed to not get suspended for that.

bucketsareepic: My friends always pat my hair out of nowhere and say "It's so fluffyyy"

🍄 pixie worm 🍄: I clicked on this because I have curly hair and I found it so funny

Troouble: My mum NEVER believes me when I say I’ve brushed my hair just because it’s frizzy yet she loves my hair.. like girl MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

LØser: I feel this on a deep level

zoey 🏖: as a person with curly hair you CAN NOT brush it this is accurate af tho

P1_DREAMIN: I literally have 4c hair, a brush ain't gonna do shit to straighten it ion know why some classmates were like this to me lmfao
