Let'S Make A New Bow! Making Hairbows With Silhouette Cameo

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, I don't know why I always want to move my shoulders, but welcome back um. I don't really know when this is gon na go up. I do know it. Will it will? It will be, I do know it will be. After Christmas, because today is Monday, which means tomorrow is Christmas - Eve Santa comes tomorrow. I hope you are on the nice list and not the naughty list. I'M crossing my fingers that I got added to that nice list, but we shall see we shall see. What did we do today? We had to take the cat to get shots because when we got the cat, I don't know if I mentioned this, but they couldn't do her vaccinations that day, because there was one that they did not have anyway. So he had to take her back today and then I had to go and get last-minute food items because we're doing like little finger foods and that sort of thing tomorrow night. So that's what I did. We usually do that. Look that Saran ballgame, where you wrap up a bunch of items and you have to roll the dice and and then you unroll it if you don't know, talked about. I'M sure I think I recorded it from last year, but we're not going to do that this year and I'm trying to think of games that the kids can play tomorrow that do not require a lot a lot of stuff, so yeah. I did find one that you take a paper plate which I did not get paper plates. You take a paper plate and you have to draw something someone's like giving you drawing prompts and you have to draw them, but you have to draw them. On top of your head, and then it's really funny when you look at it and it looks nothing like what it was supposed to look like anyways. So that's what I'm trying to do. Of course, me being me, I'm very last minute with some most of the things, so I was trying to make my mom a gift yesterday, I'm so I could to deliver it today, but it did not turn out. Have you just ever just had this vision in your head and it was so cute and then you spent all the time making it and then it does not turn out. Well, that's what happened to me. I was trying to make her a sign. I had this piece of wood and, of course I colored colored it I painted it to match her living room and it was going to say grandchildren welcome parents by appointment. Only. I don't know if you've seen that out there, but that's what I was trying to do and of course it didn't turn out. My vinyl for one was too small. I wanted yeah see it's too small and then look that says grandparents album. My vinyl didn't want to stick, so I had to scrap that I'm still planning on doing it. It'S just not gon na be free Christmas gift. I might make a stencil and use mice. My screen printing kit, maybe that'll, do better. If I did paint, I don't know, but yeah so anyways, I had to end up giving her something else. That'S just how it goes, though. That'S just how it goes. I did a whole bunch of faux leather part, bow parts that I cut out gosh like three weeks ago, and they were sling here well, I finally put them together and made up a big stack of bows, so yeah with all this. Finally, finally made up these bows, I didn't put them on clip shot, I'm gon na do that and then just give them give them away, because if I just leave them sitting here, any longer yeah they'll be here. For years no joke. I'Ve got like boxes of unfinished bows sitting in boxes that I've been carrying around for five years. I need to do something with these look at this. Oh anyways. I finished all of those, but today I thought we would try another one of these cut files that I purchased, like the ones that I shared in the previous videos. I had this a couple of cute Christmas, themed ones. One was a Santa Claus and one was in the nativity, but I'm not going to make those because I've got. I'Ve got all of the colors of faux leather except a like a flesh, colour ooh. That sounds gross. Like you know, like Santa Clauses face. I don't have anything that you know had worked for his face. Of course I've got gold and leopard and cheetah and yeah, but nothing like you, know: skin color, skin color. So I'm going to, I did open a new match and this one is so sticky yesterday, because I was reading my vinyl on it and it kept like sticking and I had you know it would get crooked and yeah so sticky, sticky, vinyl or sticky. Sticky. You guys I've not had an eggnog promised you, but if it's too sticky, it can be an issue unless you are making. You know faux leather items, but it's just a hassle. I love a sticky mat, but goodness alright. So, let's see which one y'all I still have these songs. I meant to give these socks to somebody hey yeah. Well, I don't know it's like 65 degrees outside today. Yeah, that's how it is that's how the weather is here, but anyway, so we are going to try one of these files and I'll, let you know the name of it as soon as I determine what we're going to try. There was one I was gon na. Try to make, but it was not in the format that I needed it in okay, give me a minute and we are going to make the Cinderella bow, but we are going to be using frozen colors and I have that purpley pink color. You know that on a her shawl is, we've got a pretty blue and then we have a silver and there are one two three four pieces and then the little centerpiece. So I'm going to set that up. Let me show you what the file looks like. Let me move this okay, so I'm going to do the crown first and the little centerpiece for the middle of the bow. This is going to be on the silver vinyl, and this is like a glitter print which is perfect for a crown. Alright. Now I'm going to hit sin here, we go. Ok, I got all of the pieces cut out and again flawless flawless cuts. These files are the best. This is the bigger bow. This is the smaller bow and, of course we have the crown. Look at the detail. Oh and all the little pieces, the little tidbits that came out of the crown they are right here and if you want to you, can glue them on your bows like little crown jewels. But this serves as the little spike or the tails in the middle and also the topper, the crown, and then we also have tails for the bottom, and I did that blue color. So once again flawless cuts, I'm loving it. Now I am going to use my e6000 and I really need to open up a new tube, but we'll make do and we're just going to put everything together. Of course, these parts have a little notches here. That'S where your glue goes, and you turn them back here and glue everything together. That'S one bow, but of course, instructions are included in each file that you purchase again. I make no money from these. I do not know the seller. I just wanted to try these out and I thought we would do it together. So I'm gon na go ahead and glue the pieces together and let it dry and then we'll get a look at the Cinderella bow. I am excited. I found my precision tip glue, gun and actually this is not the best precision tip glue gun that I have ever had or that I may have. I think I have another one somewhere, but I found it wasn't I looking for this yesterday was I no? I don't think I did a search for it, but anyways I found it. Oh, we were doing a the snap clips and the instructions said to use or they recommended a precision tip, but I don't really care for this one because it leaks really bad, but I found it so I'm going to use it today, yeah. I found it in the paint section of my craft closet. Don'T know why it was with the paint probably publicly yeah, probably because I don't use it a lot, maybe only twice, I don't know maybe three times, but the way it looks anyway. I'M gon na put the bow on a little Clippy and then I'll show it to you. It'S really cute this heart that came out of the center cute little heart, but actually it came out of the center of the crown there's glue right here right there see it would actually make a great centerpiece for your bow if you wanted to put it in The middle, but I'm not gon na use that and of course I lost the little little centerpiece that I cut out with the silver, so I'm just gon na have to make my own. I don't find it and I don't see it, but you know once I don't need it. I'M gon na find it. Let me plug this up, and here is the Cinderella bow in frozen colors? It is super cute. I love how it turned out, and I put the center piece right here in the center. I use a silver at the same as the crown, but I was telling you earlier that the cutout heart would be super cute in the center. Let me see if I could put it right: there show you what it would look like. Look at that super cute. Are you about anything else right there in the middle, a cute frozen bottle cap would be cute too, but it is another cute cut file and again I'm going to leave links down below.
