Hey everybody welcome back to my channel, so today, Tammy is back filming with me and we are doing a all-star cheer, hair and makeup tutorial. This has been requested by several of my mom's that I'm friends with to kind of help them get their daughters ready for their competitions that are coming up again. This is all-star cheerleading, so that requires a little bit more than your average to your squad. If you're just going to cheer for your high school, your peewee team, you can obviously cut a lot of these steps and do something a lot more simple. But the reason that we do make it like this and all-star cheerleading is all the lights that are on when they are performing. It washes them out. So if we don't enhance their pretty features, you won't see them so things like the lipstick, the eyes, the contour and blush. It really helps when they do their facials out on that mat and facials are a very big thing and competitive cheer. If you have not watched anything, I encourage you to check them out. You'Ll see why I put some makeup on and then for the hair. We taste it in Ventura can see in this tutorial how we got this hair without a hairpiece. We teased it up, moved it out made it look just like the expensive hair pieces that they sell. Again, you don't have to have super thick hair, long hair if you've got enough hair to hang down. If you have enough hair to hang down out of the ponytail, you can get this look. What'S one favorite thing of yours for all-star cheerleading, mostly everything, because I just like drinking dancing and coupling for those of you who are not super familiar with all-star cheer. It is a combined thing: it's not just Cheers. These girls are flipping, constantly they're dancing they're doing stunts. It'S very high energy, just lots of stuff going on at once, and that's the reason why Haley likes it. She not only likes to stunt she likes. She looks at humble she likes to do all those things and it's like this inform happen. So again, if you would like to see how I got this cheer, hair and makeup tutorial on Talley, then just keep watching and please don't forget to Like and subscribe this video make sure to share it and help other to your moms out that are struggling with All starchy hair and makeup - and hopefully this helps a lot of you guys out. We will see you next time and thank you so much for watching we jump into this video. I just wanted to say I went ahead and cut this into two separate videos. This one's going to be with hair and the next will be of makeup just because I really went into detail about how I do each step, so hopefully, if you're following along it will make things super easy for you, okay, so the first thing we are going To start out with is hair, so all I've done today is here is pull it up. It'S very, very hot, on her head, so, as you can see, I'm gon na turn to the side. It is not setting back here if that, if you put the hair way back here, it's going to fall when they tumble and stunts and the bow is going to end up looking like this on their head versus standing up. So I'm just having one in there right now make sure you're using a really thick band. Okay. So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to add two more of these two more of these little hair things and the reason I'm doing that is because it builds the ponytail up and it makes it set higher on the head. So it kind of pushes it up, because we all have to have that super high volume of hair and can competitive cheer. You don't want to flat ponytails and that just makes it easier on you for teasing. Now that we've got calm built up, you can see. It'S going to go kind of knock right there, what we do and there's so many ways of doing compared it to your hair. I respond. This is the most kind of basic way to do it, we're just going to do a plain ponytail with a bow, but we're gon na tease this up. So what I've got to do is turning her around I like to straighten the ponytail to where it's all nice and smooth that way. When you're teasing, you have the little waves if they do have some natural wavy here, which she does and it just looks nice and sleek. Let me tease it so I'm gon na turn our contest thought. So you have to see what I'm doing here. The supplies that I use, while I'm doing this, is some good, firm hairspray. This is just what I have in my shop right now. My Hair Studio, but a really good one to use is the Australian. What is that freeze spray by off see Emily? It'S like a purple Canyon and then another one is rock your hair. If you are available to get that turn, I know I wish we have that, but we don't have that today and then, of course, you're going to need some bobby pins. A teasing comb, which kind of looks like this. They make several different ones, make sure it doesn't have the metal on the teasing comb, because the metal really pulls on the hair that want to break their hair because teasing the hair is already pretty hard. So you want to make sure you've got something just soft bristled that'll build that tease up just a little bit, oh of course, and you need a bow. So this is the bow we're using today. Cuz it matches her pull-up outfit. You got ta! Have them look straight? If they don't look straight, then one happens, the tease the poof will be off to the side, so they have to be looking straight and you're going to go the little section by little section, and this is a tutorial. If you don't have a hair piece already, I prefer having a hair piece for competitive cheer, just because it's not as damaging on the hair of Allah teaches in the hair spray of everything. But if you don't have it that's perfectly fine, you don't have to have them, so I'm just going to show you just my little method of doing it. So I'm going to take a piece, it's probably about a half inch to an inch thick very thick. Very, very small sections, and I'm just going to take my brush and push down like this, a tease date and I'm going to leave the ends out because that's what's going to form our tail. Our ponytail and you'll just have a little bitty kind of knot like this. It looks pretty, but that's what we want and you're gon na spread it out. So I turning you this way. I teased it with my brush just pushing it down until it forms just a little mop, hair or a little tease, and I spread it out with my fingers. Not leave this straight this little bitty here now. Can you go to your next section very, very thin. Pull it up push down and you can go on the back side and on the front side of it. You just want that little ball formed right there and again, I'm leaving my ends straight and just focusing on putting that tease right there at the roots of the ponytail. So look, it sticks up like this. I'M gon na turn you to the side. That'S how do you know you've got a nice teeth so again, I'm just going to kind of spread that out. I think I'm gon na do one more and then the bobby pin these in you don't want to grab super thick amounts because then you'll have no hair left in the ponytail to do the actual ponytail. You don't want all of it to be teased and then just have a very thin section to put it over alright. So now I've got my little ball built up underneath here. It ends right here are smooth alright. So what I'm gon na do now is I'm gon na take little bobby pins and I'm just going to pin that T's to where it's not moving side to side, and this gives it a nice solid foundation for the rest of the hair to lay on top Of and just pin the other side up that T's, alright and then you got a look from the back and make sure that is in the center of their head, which this is because you do not want to do all this work and teasing it and making It look all pretty and nice and smooth and then turn around and it's off to the side, because then you're gon na have start all over now we're just gon na section-by-section down and just tease and leave the in depth little bitty sections you guys a little Bit so I'm gon na take a few put it over the top of this teeth and then I'm gon na start bringing them on each side. So you can form a nice full Punta and not make it look like a mohawk where it's just all. Could anyone know and then, when I do once I start getting to this point right here, I get my hair spray and I spray that to you and then I also take the can and just kind of hold it got. Ta leave that on for a few seconds - and this looks straight and I'll leave that on a few seconds - and this is just going to really for this ponytail - always kind of right out my teeth that I did there. So I kind of turn you around and Hennessey spread that to you that after you sprayed it and then my ends are straighter. I'M angling in the hair to where it's gon na fall towards the side of this side, not springing it directly. Back like this sweep. Three points basically three points, so you bring the hair back straight. Then you get a piece of hair and put it to your left side. And then you take piece of hair and tease it over and lay it to the right. You you you and if you see sections starting to separate, do you see how this one's kind of not connecting into this one? You can take a little piece of that section out there and just tease it really quick to kind of hold those two sections together and now the hair is not splitting open and hairspray is your best friend doing this do not be afraid to use some hairspray. You don't want to necessarily put a whole lot on the ends, because you want those to still look really soft, but you want to use a lot of hairspray on this teeth. Some of you may be worried about getting this untangled at night. You need to get a very good leave-in conditioner or you can even use conditioner and take each section starting from the bottom and just slowly untangling, with a bless you it's just slowly. Untangling it with a wet brush is what I normally do and I spray the detangler. I love it's a tin, so I use it's a ten detangler and just kind of brush out each little tease. Yes, it takes a little bit of time, but you don't want to sit there and just yank on the hair because you do not want to break it and it hurts. Yes, you've got to take time now what I'm going to do, because I'm going to leave most of this for the smoothing part to cover all this T's right here, I'm going to take our bobby pin and I'm just going to to the parts that are kind Of coming out and coming too far front, I'm just going to pin them down. You see a pin down this part of the teeth right here. This is hanging over it, which is fine, but that way when she's tumbling and when she's on the map, it's not gon na fall in front of her face same thing. This T's is kind of poking a little bit too far. I'M gon na kind of show you see how it's coming down and it's hanging on her face, we're going to take that teeth and we're just gon na hit that just like, and if you want to go ahead and add your bow before you start teasing. You definitely can, but I always pin the bow in. I find it's just easier to each their own on this. If you want to use the hair bands and put the boat on the head put the bow in before you start teasing, otherwise you will have to pin the bow but, like I said, I just prefer to do it that way. So I'm gon na turn her around and I barely teased the route that way. I have all the smooth hair covering that big ball of teens that we just take spray, and now I got a focus on covering the sides up with the rest of her hair. It'S looking really good, except we've got to cover the teeth on this side, and that side are we gon na? Give it a little bitty push right here at the base and remember your bow: is gon na cover a lot of this? It should anyway, because it's just competitive to your bows or pretty good unless well, the one we're using today isn't super big, but it's big enough to cover that. I just spray the chin and spread that out make sure it's all smooth over some kind of barrier. I'M not pushing my brush into the hair, just gliding it over I'm gon na cover this part. The teeth just barely give it a little push here at the root. Get that hairspray very bouffant. That'S what we want right. Obviously, you can still see some teeth right here and right here, but that's okay, because our bows gon na cover that so just make sure that it's spray good, especially these side pieces, because you don't want those to disconnect and get in their face. Show you the back side view it's nice and high, it's what we want and competitive cheer now why we wanted to use our fly on, we didn't want. Any pathway was going through the hair, so I'm just going to spray a little bit and then I'm going to kind of gather the hair just right here, flip it over no keep it up flip it over. Just like this and you're gon na spray, all underneath you're gon na spray, all underneath making sure there's no little hairs, that's going to be disconnected, and once you do that, of course, this is what I would like to do. Oh get that hairspray and just kind of shape it and that's just going to make it to where all those underneath hairs stay put. So now, we've got it the way we want in the back. So now comes the boat from here, and this is where you're going to need two bobby pins. These bobby pins are probably at least three inches long. You need two or three of these long bobby pins and you're, going to pin that bow and take the BAI pins and I turn the boat around and there should be a middle gathering where the bow is put together and you're just going to slide. That bobby pin through the back of that and make sure you're putting it fried underneath those hair ties. So there's one and I'm going to put one more in there. She'S only gon na need two, so I'm gon na peek through the side we've got her boat in and it's nice and centered you're gon na take a smaller bobby pins, just regular size and try to if you can get them the same color as your bow. You can even spray paint some bobby pins and you're always going to want to pin down the tails of it, and I always pin them up here, and I also take them right down in here and angle them up. Just so they're nice and secure just keep looking at it make sure it's good for you, it's good for your daughter, everything's comfortable, and that is a simple little easy and my opinion easy way to get cheer hair when you don't have a hairpiece takes a little Time take some product, but it looks very, very pretty in the end, just like she didn't have a hairpiece in okay guys so, like I said, I'm splitting these two videos up.
