Winter Beauty: Bold Violet Lips + How To Style Hair Bows!

Hey everyone! So this is my take on one of my favorite winter trends: Bold lips paired with simple eyes! (It's the look I recently posted on my Instagram) I chose this gorgeous violet lipstick to go with this simple cat eye look. I like the violet because it goes well with my hair color and skin tone!

Also, in this video I show you my favorite way to style hair bows! I've always thought bows were for younger girls, but I think if you wear them the right way, they can be really chic and feminine.

If you'd like to get bows just like the ones in this video, please visit https://www.etsy.com/shop/RosetteBelle... ! The shop is so beautiful, I fell in love! It's where I got the rosebud earrings and gorgeous carousel necklace I'm wearing in this video!

Hey guys it's isabelle, and today i have this gorgeous winter, look with simple eyes and a really bold violet lip plus i'm going to show you my favorite ways. I love to style, hair bows, which i got from rosette bell shop on etsy. So let's get started. First, i'm just going to say my eyebrows are looking kind of scary because i haven't gotten them done in a while, because i'm letting them grow out, but i'm going to try to salvage them by brushing them up and then filling them in with a dark brown. Eyeshadow and then a medium eyeshadow, and you can really see what the difference is between a filled in brow and a non-filled in brow. Next, i'm just going to prime my eyes with this too faced shadow insurance all over the eyelid and then i'm taking mulberry by estee lauder, which is just a grayish purple onto the immediate eyelid. Next, i'm taking twice baked by urban decay and just putting that onto the outer v of my eye just to give more definition and give me more of a cat eye. Next, i'm just going to take a fluffy brush and just blend all of that through and then, as a brow bone highlight, i'm just taking my regular everyday powder onto the brow bones and then taking mulberry down below the eye as well. Next, i'm going to do my eyeliner with maybelline eye studio, gel eyeliner in blackest, black, which is my all-time fave, and i'm just doing a regular cat eye that i would do every day, not too bold. So i don't overpower the lips. Then i'm just going to curl my eyelashes and i'm taking these really natural, looking falsies just to complete the look and i'm going to apply mascara to them after they're dried next, since i'm not wearing foundation. I'M going to mix my two concealers, my glamoflauge and my mary kay concealers, you guys. I will link my concealer routine down below as well, but this is just a quick way to even out my dark circles and the skin around my nose and my mouth and of course i always set with my rimmel stay matte powder, and i should have done This earlier, but i'm going to put my hair back like this, so it'll be easier to apply. My bronzer and my bronzer is actually not a bronzer. It'S a foundation and it is the maybelline fit me foundation in coconut for darker skin tones and it just blends. So seamlessly into my skin and i've been obsessed with it. So i apply that to my cheekbones and my temples and around my jaw to define and then i'm taking my maybelline fit me blush in medium nude, all over the same areas and i'm contouring my nose with just some brown shadow and blending it out. Now. My favorite part is the lip product. My revlon color burst matte balm and 215 shameless. I apply this to the center of the lips first and define the cupid's bow, and then i take a lip brush just to define it make sure all the edges are clean and i go back and forth between applying more product and then between the lip brush. Just to make sure everything looks nice and clean, and then i finish it off with my l'oreal extravagant collagen mascara now for the hair first thing i'm gon na do. Is this really easy kind of bohemian side? Braid, i'm not good at braids, but all i do is pull all my hair to one side and then just kind of messily braid, all the way to the bottom and i've never been really good at braids. So i kind of struggle, so i had to fast forward this part, but basically you're, just gon na go all the way to the end, secure it with an elastic and then pull out the braid just like this, and all this is doing is making it look. Thicker and more luscious, since my hair is not that thick now i have these two gorgeous bows and i'm going to be using the white eyelid lace and pinning it down at the bottom of the braid. With the hair tie, you can see how cute that looks. So effortless and so chic, i absolutely love it or you can take, and in this case i'm taking the ivory one with the gold metallic hearts and putting it up towards the top of the braid to kind of frame the face or if you're, not a fan Of braids, you can take your braid out and just take the two front, sections of your hair twist them backwards and then secure them at the back with a hair tie, and i apologize if you can't see this part, but i'm basically just tying those two front Sections back with a white hair tie and then i'm taking my bow, the clip part and just putting that right through the hair tie, and i love how this look just pulls the hair out of your face and is so elegant and so feminine and chic. Next, i really love to slip, my hair down the middle and then just take a small piece from one side of your face and just pin it back. It'S super simple and super easy looks so cute for any occasion, and then, if you don't like that - and this is my very favorite one - i like to do a deep side - part with my hair kind of messy and take a big part right above my ear. So that my ear shows and just pin it back with one of the bows and look how elegant and gorgeous this looks, it's definitely my favorite by far so guys. I hope you like this tutorial hope you, like the makeup and the bows if you'd like to get bows just like these, you can get them on rosette bells a shop on etsy i will link down below, which is also where i got my jewelry, my earrings And my necklace for this video, so thanks for watching guys, see you in the next one bye
