Testing Googoo Hair Extensions And How I Create Bouncy Curls | Sophie Faye

Hello, everybody welcome back to a brand new youtube video. I am so excited for today's video, because i am showing you guys how i style my hair. I get so many questions on what i use to curl my hair. What kind of hair care i use? All of that kind of stuff - and today's video i'm actually also trying out my new hair extensions, so i have kindly been sent by goo goo hair extensions, these gorgeous clip-ins. Now these are the 20 inch clip ins and they come in a really cute little box. Like this, which i think is so sweet and then inside you have the little silk bag which have the hair extensions in there and you've also got a clip that says. Google, on there and they've, sent me a little scrunchie, which is so cute and a pair of eyelashes, which i wasn't expecting, which was really nice. It was a really nice little touch, and then you have the manual which tells you how to use them. So i've picked up these hair extensions. They are 100 human hair extensions. I think they said they are remy. Hair extensions and they've just got a little net around them to keep them all secure and tidy. Oh there's some extra clips and we have the actual hair extensions which look like this, so this is the color that i got. I will pop it down in the description box below they actually kindly helped me pick the color, because i wasn't sure on what kind of color i needed, but this was the closest match and i feel like it looks pretty good like i feel like that looks Like my hair color, so i'm really really excited to try these and to style my hair, i'm actually going to be using my molly may curling kit. This is always what i use when i've got curly hair. I really like the bouncy kind of look, so i am going to be showing you guys today how i do that, so i really hope you enjoyed today's video. Let'S get on with today's video get yourself a nice cup of tea or a coffee or a drink of choice, because i feel like today is going to be a long one, but i'm really excited to be spending the morning with you, okay guys. So i've just started by lifting up the top layer of hair and i've just separated it. So i'm just gon na pop it up with a bobble just get it out of the way. So i've started quite low down on my hair, so i'm gon na pop the first set of hair extensions along the hairline here that i've separated i actually got 20 inch because i didn't want it for length. I wanted it for volume um. If you ever want to increase the volume in your hair, i would definitely recommend hair extensions. I actually used to wear hair extensions. A lot when i was in high school i purchased some. I think it was like from the high street of a town i used to go to, and i really liked them and i really liked how they kind of made my hair look and the volume. So i'm really excited to be trying hair extensions again. So i'm going to take the longer bits first, so these are the seamless ones and, as you can see, they are so thin, which is great, so i'm going to undo the clips and i'm then going to just pop them in my hair on that line. Now, as you can see, that is actually a really good color match. Oh my gosh! So again, i've just separated the hair a bit further up now and i'm just gon na use this three clip one okay. So that is the hair extensions in look at the color match guys unreal. Like it's perfect, you wouldn't even be able to tell that i'm wearing hair extensions because it matches my hair color so well so now we are going to move on to curling the hair. So i am going to separate it, which means that you will see the clips just because i am separating the hair. I'M thinking this is probably going to take me longer than it normally does, because i have lots more hair on my head. So i'm going to separate the hair again now with the hair extensions. You can style them, but it has to be on 160 heat, so i've only put the hair curlers on 160.. Now i have quite thick hair anyway, so this does already take me quite a long time. So i'll show you how i style it, but i won't show you all of it like i'll, probably pop you on a little time lapse, but i won't be able to film all of it because it does take me so long to curl my hair. But basically, this is what i do. I take the glove because i am one of those people that is prone to burning myself, so i'm going to take a little section of hair. I normally start from the back, because i find that the easiest way to do it. I can't actually tell what is my hair and what's an extension at this point, so i then take the curler and i wrap the hair around like so, and i normally hold my hair on the curler for about 10 to 12 seconds and then once that is Curled, i'm then gon na just pin it so i'm gon na use one of these clips here, and that is how i curl one section of hair and then i will literally do that through the whole hair, which is why it takes me so long myself. I forgot to tell you guys that i did actually spray some heat protectant on my hair before i did. This, don't worry. This is the one that i use is the argan oil heat defense leave-in spray, it's literally from like. I think it was from poundland um really inexpensive. Obviously it was just a pound and i really like that one and it also smells really nice too okay, so that is the first half side done. Basically, the first quarter um. So i'm gon na leave that for a minute and then i am going to take it out. Only reason is, i don't have enough clips for my whole hair, otherwise i would probably leave it all in at the same time, but my hair is so thick. The clips actually only cover one quarter of my hair, which is a joke. So i'll leave this to sit for a minute, and then i will do the rest of my hair and i'm also just going to spray some hairspray on it, which is the coco loco. Is the lee stafford coconut hairspray? This smells incredible, so i'm just gon na spray that over the hair as well. If you haven't tried this, you really need to. It is so good, okay, so i've just taken the first one out and that's what it's looking like. I absolutely love when you first take these out because it is so bouncy, so let me just take the rest out, so that is what it then looks like i love it so much it just looks so like bouncy um. I won't brush it just yet i'll. Wait until the end to brush it all out together, um yeah, i'm just gon na go and do this bit now and then it will match this side. Callum is here. I don't actually think you've been on a video for a while, but that is the other side done guys, i'm just gon na. Actually i won't brush it out just yet. I'M gon na do the top bit first. So let's take this down and then spray it with some more heat: defense, spray, wow lion, mane, okay, i'm just gon na brush the top layer; and i'm just gon na spray. Some of this, and now i'm going to get on and do the top half so i'll do exactly the same as what i do on the bottom half and then we will be done so i'll. Come back to you because this is going to take me a while, because this is like the thickest bit of my hair, so i will be back once it's all done, so that is the first top half done. I just thought: i'd show you, because this fringe bit here, i actually use rollers. So these are the rollers that i use. They are just from primark and they are one pound. Fifty these are the medium size, and i really like to use these sometimes when i want a bit more volume or if i'm gon na leave it in, and so i probably will leave the fringe in for a bit longer than the rest. Just because i like the fringe to look bouncy, so i'm now going to take out the top. This is what i mean about the clips. I need to buy some more clips because i do not have enough for my hair, i'm just so obsessed with, like the bouncy hair. Look, it just looks like you're fresh out of the salon, and i really do feel like these hair extensions. I from what i think is my hair extensions. I can't actually tell because the color match is so good, but i think the hair extensions are curling so well, and i do know that molly mae obviously has cur like hair extensions. I think hers are like tapings or something aren't they, but um. I'Ve heard that hair extensions actually hold so much better when you have curls, so i'm really hoping that these stay a lot longer and then i'm just gon na put a little bit of hairspray. So that is what that side is looking like. I love it. I haven't even brushed it yet, but i think that it is so nice, so i'm now going to just finish up on the other side, and then we're done okay, everybody, so both sides are now curled. I am so happy with how it looks. I feel like having the extensions just gives my hair a lot more volume and, although it's quite thick already, i just really like how it looks so i'm gon na take out the clips from the fringe i hate. Taking these out. Does anyone else hate taking out rollers because they feel like they're, ripping out your hair so yeah? That is it now, i'm just gon na give it a quick brush and then they'll go all like bouncy and it'll look like kind of a blow-dry. How beautiful does that look? I am so obsessed. I absolutely love the hair extensions. They were really easy to apply. They feel really good quality. They literally feel like your natural hair. I couldn't tell what was my natural hair and what wasn't so yeah really really good quality. I love the feel of them. Super soft super shiny, really good color match. Oh my gosh.
