Trying Out Clip In Hair Extensions For The First Time On My 4C Hair

Hey guys welcome to my channel. My name is tammy lawson and in today's video i'm gon na be trying some clip-ins for the very first time ever y'all um. So if you're new here i've been growing, my hair out so make sure you check out my other hair tutorials um. I have lots of videos on short hair when my hair was really really short, and today i'm just going to be trying some clip ins that i got from amazon, because i wanted to try it out. My hair is finally long enough that i can be able to do a lot of different things with it um so yeah. So i hope you guys enjoy this video um so first thing. First, these clip ends um they're, very, very soft and they're 100 human hair. So i think they're, like about eight pieces, how many that just count, i think, about five six uh, seven, eight they're about eight to seven pieces um. So my hair is in a twist right now, um i already washed it and i twist it up. So what i'm gon na do is i'm just like unraveling my twists, so i can braid the middle part of my hair um, because i do want to leave some hair out so that my clip ins can look super natural, that's what i was going for, so It can look a little bit natural, so it can look like almost like my hair um, so i'm just braiding my my hair right now, just the one in the middle, though i'm not really brain everything um the braids, don't have to be perfect. So i'm just like basically doing some uglies very ugly braids. As you can see, it does not look parted at all. It does not look good. It is definitely not perfect. I just want to be able to like just put these clip-ins and see how this hair look. So i went ahead and braided that part, and now i am doing the other section in the middle, so it can still be a little bit flatter. I even though, i'm not doing it as perfect, i'm still trying to make sure they don't look crazy. Um, like i said guys, just make sure you check out my other videos about my hair, tutorials um. I have i'm gon na upload another hair videos of my hair journey, of how i got it so long because it definitely grew like, as you can see so anyways. I left a little bit of my hair out, not a lot and then these clippings, all you have to do, is just pop it up like that. So you know it's just easy, just pop it up too, then you just like clip it in so guys. I only got one pack of this hair um. That was my mistake because i read the review of amazon and everyone was saying that one pack will be enough - and i should have listened to myself because i do have a big head and so far as i install these clip-ins, i look completely crazy. Okay. I look crazy, but i told myself listen, girl. You got to make this work, so i just placed the clip ins to area in my hair to make it look full um and i feel like it worked perfectly fine and i feel like it did turn out. Okay, um so trust the process, guys trust to process um yeah. So like i'm doing now, i keep like i keep mixing the clip ins with my natural hair and then i also got off camera to like brush out the hair to you know, take out some of the curls because it was too tight, and this is how It turned out, it looks girl, yeah. I i yeah, you look crazy. I look crazy, but guys i'm gon na make this work. Okay. I am gon na make this work. Okay, so i kept finger combing. It finger combing the hair and then i also went ahead and then i did take some of my. I took the comb, my comb and i combed out the curls, because these curls are so tight. I think this is like a kinky curl here, so the curls are so so tight. So i took out, i took my comb and kept combing out the curls, so it can look thicker and full, and then i also went in with my garnier curl, nourish cream and i you know, went through my natural hair to activate my curls and, as i Put this uh curl nourish leave-in conditioner in my hair i twist my hair, so i can activate my curls and you know i kept repeating the same step, putting the nourish the leave-in conditioner in my natural hair and keep turning it up and twisting it up to Activate my curls and yeah and i felt like okay, i think i got something here. I think it's turning out. Okay do so. This part is really important. Um make sure you do put a lot of leave in conditioner, whatever leaving conditioner of your choice that you decide to do with news. Um just make sure you really do twist it up um and what i'm also doing is i'm taking some of the clip ends and i'm also like installing, like twisting it up with my hair as well and don't forget the back of your hair. Make sure you put a lot of leave-in conditioner on your natural hair? I do have 4c here so keeping my hair moisturized is super important um just so it can blend a little bit more with this hair um, like i said, super important, so make sure you finger comb, it put a lot of leave-in conditioner in it and twist It while you're finger combing, it make sure you're twisting it with the leave-in with the clip ends as well. I also went ahead and took this eco gel this white, clear gel to gel down my edges just so it can look a little bit put together. You don't have to gel your edges if you don't want to, but i just also wanted it to blend a little bit more with the hair, so i went ahead and gel my edges and, to be honest, i don't even think this gel really hold down. My edges, but it does keep it in place, um so yeah. So that's what i'm doing just gelling down my edges bye. So this is the finishing look of the hair. I got off camera and i twist up the hair a little bit, so it dried out. It looks so good and i'm just gon na get off camera and do my makeup, so i can show you guys how everything look together super pretty so hey guys so guys. This is the finishing look um. So overall, i feel like so overall i do like the hair. The hair is really soft and i like the texture, because i feel like it did blend in a little bit with my 4c hair, but um. The only thing i would say about it. I feel like it's not fold enough, so i might, i think, i'm gon na order, another pack just to put it in like, for example, i feel like over on this side right here. This side is not as full like how i would want it to be and um and probably like at the front too. I want to put a little bit more here at the front, but i mean, like it looks cute like look at it. It literally looks like my natural hair. I really like it it's soft and it's really really nice, and especially especially for the price um i feel like it definitely is worth it um. I will. I will leave the link of the hair down below if you guys want to check it out. This is 12 inch and yeah so like overall, i do like the hair uh. I like the color, but i'm definitely gon na order. Another pack, because i just feel like um, i need my hair. I need my hair to be full and right now i feel like this is not especially this part right here. This section right here, i feel like it's not full enough. It'S not full enough like the way i want it um but we'll see, but it's really cute. What do you guys think?
