hey you guys and welcome back to another
installment of by Brittany D and
today I'm back with some LOC extensions
tutorial how to how you do all that
stuff so we're gonna jump right into it
we will be using the LOC sanity after a
kinky human hair bunk it's 10 inches of
their natural black hair so this video
will not only consist of me making like
extensions but I'm gonna give you guys a
little review because not all afro bunk
hair is 100% human you know people like
to cut corners sometimes so we're going
to give this hair a strand test to see
how well it takes to chemicals but we're
gonna say that for the end let's get
into these locking stitches as you can
see already pull some hair or Park and
give it a nice good stretch you don't
want your locs to be lumpy bumpy on even
so yeah make sure you give it a nice
good stretch and I am adding a nice
generous amount of hair because I want
these locks to be a little bit thicker
my biggest fear is to have over a
hundred locks in my head I have about 49
right now so I'm really just trying to
keep this around 80 ish an 85 ish
nevertheless I'm gonna begin a rolling
so all you want to do is roll in alright
so we're gonna do a couple of palm rows
over and over and over and over again
until you hold up we're gonna add a
little bit more hair Oh baby I'm sorry
guys I'm really trippin let me calm
myself we're gonna add a little bit more
hair to this lock and we're going to
continue palm rolling and forming the
shape and you guys remember the double
headed crochet needle from my instant
lock tutorial if you haven't done so
already go ahead and check that video
out in that video I go full in-depth on
how to use this crochet tool so we're
not gonna go in-depth right now cuz we
already did that but the same rules
apply all you have to do was twist and
jab just twist and boom I see like hold
on let me ask them sound
so yeah just like that you just want to
continue to twist and stab make sure you
pull it and stretch it every so often so
the hair doesn't get too bulky in one
spot but yeah you want to keep on
putting that thing down flip it and
reverse it over and over again so we're
halfway through this process and you
want to continue giving it's a good palm
row just to give it a nice good shape
but now we're gonna pick up that single
headed crochet needle and we're gonna go
ahead and finish jab it you already know
how I though I used the double-headed
needle to create the shape and the
single one to make it more uniform so
yeah a little tip that I like to use
when I'm using the single headed needle
I like to aim downwards and then pull
the hair up into the shaft that way it
eliminates any gaps alright so at this
point we got a lock right now we got a
decent little lock right now and what
we're doing at this point is sealing the
end so you want to use that tip that I
mentioned earlier about angling the
crochet needle downwards and pulling the
hair up into the shaft as you can see
very efficient but yeah you just want to
keep on jabbing that drone over again
and let me just ask the most scientific
sort of because you don't get the full
effect until I add the sounds fix order
so you want to keep on twisting and
spinning that lock over and over again
and you will see boom look at that that
end is sealed now that's a good seals in
right there yeah yeah
I think I'm starting to get cabin fever
or something because shorty is tripping
but I yeah this is the last we have one
lock completely done I like to leave a
little fuzz on in because you know it
makes it look a little bit more
realistic well we're gonna give it a few
more love taps and move on to the next
so we've reached the end of my day and
these are all the locks that I created I
use that first half of that bundle and
these are all the locks that I was able
to create with that bundle and that's
not bad because these are pretty thick
you certainly get a decent amount of
hair and I know these girls look hella
Aki right now but wait to the end you're
gonna see how real they look but I want
to give you guys these measurements real
quick so my natural locks are about four
and a half inches as you can see these
locks are six inches long and the reason
why I made them so long is because I
don't know how long it's gonna take for
my size to grow out and it's easier to
make lock extension shorter then longer
excuse the mess I was in the middle of
filming another tutorial but yeah this
is a right here twenty seven locks
two-and-a-half bundles later the gang's
all here so let's move on to the Strand
test I did four separate tests on three
different bundles my first time
purchasing from lock sanity I purchased
the wrong color I got the number two
darkest brown and I still decided to do
a strand test and I used the adorn semi
permanent hair color in the off black as
you can see the tip of that lock is
darker than the rest of the hair so it
takes well to semi-permanent colors but
it doesn't take well to is bleaching I'm
going to show you in the next clips so I
use b/w two-and-twenty developer and
this is this is it I allowed the beach
to sit for about thirty to forty minutes
and this was my result so million dollar
question is this human hair it is it
looks like it's been chemically treated
already
the color but I was aware that I may
have some issues coloring this hair if
you go to their website and click on
their frequently asked questions they do
have some information about bleaching
the hair so you could go ahead and pause
the video and read that over as you can
see the hair can be bleached but if you
are planning to do bright colors ever I
definitely will not pick this color I
did place another order this time I
ordered the natural undyed again I use
dw2 and the 20 developer and as you can
see I got a totally different result so
the natural unde I passed a strand test
and also the natural black I did the bw2
and the 20 developer as well and it did
amazing so if you're thinking about
adding any color definitely check out
the last two to conclude this tutorial
when it gave you guys a little update so
I am officially nine months lock I turn
nine months locked on May 4th only 3
months away from my one-year anniversary
so yes super excited but yes the skins
with these thighs it's been two months
it's my last haircut and yeah I still
got a long ways to go but I want to show
you what my locs will look like compared
to my LOC extensions so we're just gonna
pop that bad boy in there and oh my
goodness oh my goodness where did it go
I don't see do you you kind of do you
see there but ya see it looks pretty
natural duh I told you I told you if you
guys liked this tutorial please remember
to Like comment and subscribe and share
I really would appreciate if you guys
share my videos you know get the word
I'll get the word fair the word spread
the word but um yeah until next time
between me to get until we're back on
YouTube I almost forgot what was that
watch it another crazy video of mine bye
bye
you
