Love you all, thanks for your constant support!!!!

Hey guys, it's your girl, Aisha chesha, and today, I'm going to be showing you how I use layering techniques in resin to create some really beautiful hair clips and if you stick around you'll, be seeing some really lovely necklaces too. So I was given some really cute. Molds by Fun showcase, they are primarily supposed to be used to make hair clips um the really adorable cat ones and the ice cream, and the cloud I'll probably use those at a later date. But I wanted to focus more on the uh quite simple, Barrette molds, because I wanted to see how I could make them look more interesting. For me, this was a bit more of a challenge, as opposed to just pouring some resin into a mold that already had a design in it, I'm also using their resin and their pigments in this Craft um. So, as you saw, I put a little bit of UV resin in there and then I used a heat gun to sort of smooth out any Bubbles, and then I basically just raided my craft stash. I had some dried flowers. I had some cute little charms and I thought let me just go with the flow I didn't plan this out at all. I had no idea how this was going to turn out when I flipped it over, but the way that I sort of planned it was. I just went with a color theme, so I knew that I wanted to use Reds and pinks and whites, and maybe some Rose golds in there um and I kind of wanted a sort of kind of like a Japanese style theme. So I just took that idea and I ran with it. I think that the key to this is taking your time. If you do it slowly, then you won't get any bubbles in your your pieces. Well, maybe you might get one or two I mean we can't help it. It'S resin, but um you'll definitely get a lot less. If you slow down - and just you know, use what you already have. I I have no idea where all this stuff came from. You know me: I've been collecting this craft stuff for years, but just use the little bits that you have even there might be some pieces that have been in your craft stash a long time and you've never known what to do with them. Maybe make something like this: you know don't plan it too much just see how it goes just go with the flow, so here I'm adding some gorgeous iridescent, Larissa glitter discount code below um to these already very sparkly pigments from fun showcase. I absolutely love these colors. I think that the teal and the sort of like champagne gold go together so so nicely. So what I did was I did a quick little flash cure of the of this base layer and then, just just before it started to peel away from the mold. I then backed it with these colors again I didn't really plan the order or anything I just went with the flow. I just you know, poured it wherever I thought that it would look best and yeah. I'M really really pleased with the way that they turned out. After attaching the hair clip to the back of the pieces with some glue and then around the edges with some resin, it was time to turn them over and have a look at them. Look at how cool, oh, which one is your favorite, leave a comment below one two or three? Okay. So now we are stepping it up a notch. We are going for some mixed media necklaces. Now you could probably argue that the hair clips are kind of mixed media, because there were flowers and also a couple of little charms in there as well. Now this mold also came part of the hair clip set, but I thought you know what let's make them into necklaces they're kind of big um and I decided instead of using uh, dried flowers. I was going to use some flower stickers um, but rather than like peel the stickers off. I just cut them out of the acetate sheet because I just felt that they stayed in the resin better, like they didn't try to float up, because there was a bit more weight to them. You know so I still use dried flowers in some of these, but I also used fabric. So, as you can see here, I'm using a little bit of lace um, I used tiny little gemstones. I used like crushed glass. I used so many different things and at the end of it I ended up using stickers and little quotes as well. So um definitely took some inspiration from my uh journaling and I promise I will get back on that. Don'T worry, but uh yeah definitely took some inspiration from that in terms of my layering technique. Um. Once again, I had absolutely no plan and didn't know what I was doing where I was placing them. All I knew was that it was going to be a big surprise when I turned them over, so I'm going to leave you to sit back and relax and enjoy seeing this all come together. Foreign, I really do feel like these pieces, are the definition of trust. The process I had no idea how they were going to look when they were done, but I was very, very happy with the outcome so to add even more mixed media, I decided to use these lovely stickers from black papier and I basically just matched the pendant To the person, whoever I thought had a very similar color scheme, then they got added to that pendant. Thank you. I have to say. I think that this one has to be my favorite. I just think that it's so romantic, and just so like Whimsical and beautiful. I really did enjoy making that um each of my necklaces I attached a lobster clasp to them, and a couple of jump Rings just to make it easy to put them on um. I really do like the color choices that I use as well. I think that they that the stickers that I chose went very well with all of the backgrounds um, so yeah, let me know which one of these is your favorite as well. I would love to know. I really hope that you enjoyed this video and I hope that you learned something as well. If you did, please do feel free to share it with a friend take care. My darlings and I'll see you all soon. Bye,

FUN SHOWCASE: Wow!Great!

Lucy Stewart: Utterly GORGEOUS pieces!!! I LOVE the mixture of different textures and details so much!!!!

Libby Ann Best: I love these all! Please do this mixed media with resin again! I learned so much, but I'm still too scared to try this yet.

Video for Bosses: Such a wonderful video. You’ve not popped up in my feed at all so I came looking for ya! Number 3 was my fav of the hair clips and I couldn’t choose from the necklaces as I liked them all. Keep up the great work❤

D. Brinkman: Love you stepping out of your zone and embracing mixed media in your resin! Another idea is to reverse how you build the art in the mold. You know how we build backwards? Build opposite of that.

Ioma Lantz: Oh so cute. Must do clips for Tekla now! Thanx for the idea<3

Shousaphine: You used butterflies?! I need to make sure you're properly acknowledged for that! I hope it wasn't too awful, the hair clips all look very pretty. My favorite is clip #3. This was a fantastic idea!

Blue Richards: 1 is number 1 for Me on the hair clips ... those pendants, though!
