How To Dye Synthetic Hair Extensions [Coontails]

Hey guys, what's up it's Bernie here and today, I'm gon na bring you a little tutorial, how-to video on how to die. I on how to die synthetic hair, so these hairs are actually made out of plastic. It'S the kind you get it like Claire's, but it's not real hair. So if you can't just put dye in and expect it to take, my friend actually told me how you can do this and it's really cheap and easy, and it's fun so I'll show you guys how to do it. Okay, guys so some material you're gon na need. Obviously your extensions I like to get a comb and I just like comb them out just make sure they're not like a tangled mess. You know so, then you can make your extensions look good and so brush it out. Some other things: you're gon na need permanent marker permanent felt marker. I'M gon na be doing black and purple tails, and these so I need the color black. You need some isopropyl alcohol, probably the stronger, the better. You can get this at like any drugstore or whatever so get some of that and then q-tips to apply I'm baby scary. So I got black marker and color it him where I wanted to go buck. I'M probably gon na fast, for this part cuz it's long and boring, but it's actually fun. If you have friends, so you could like clip your clip, your extension on to like a binder or something so it holds straight and then just kind of pull it. So it's all straight and tight, and then you can do the rest, make sure it's like nice and dark and pigmented okay, so once you've colored it on there next step, you're gon na take a little bit of ICO. Propyl alcohol pour it into the cap. Grab yourself, a cue tip, get it wet with alcohol, and then you just kind of go over it, and this is this, helps it soak into the plastic, and it will actually help to dye it. Okay and once you've done that side flip it over and make sure you got the back nice and good too and I'll come back and show you guys what they look like when they're done, hey guys. Okay, so I finished the extension and once you're done, it should look something like this. If you're doing tails like me, you should be nice to striped and beautiful like this. So hopefully you got those results and I have two of them. So I'm gon na, like put them in my hair and chime out and see you know, they're still pretty bright, but we got that coontail look and that's pretty much. What I wanted to die um so and you guys can dye them any color. Just get different.
