How To Make Synthetic Wigs Look More Natural

Here are my tips and tricks on how to make synthetic wigs look more natural, here's the before and then here's the after it just looks more tamed and subtle and gorgeous. So the first thing is to pluck that hairline. This is really important. Synthetic wigs have a very clean cut. Hairline you want to break it up a little bit. The fibers are a little thicker than human hair. So you want to pluck down those thick knots. I then like to take a hot comb on about 300 degrees, and I like to help that hairline lay more naturally and out of the face. It really makes a huge difference. When I cut the lace, I use an eyebrow razor, a Jagged Edge on the lace. Will trick the eye, whereas a clean cut lace will be easy to clock. I then like to cut in some layers that frame the face. It also prevents the hair from tangling, then take a concealer that matches your complexion and really paint that lace underneath and then use a coordinating powder.
