CURLING WAND ($15)

https://amzn.to/2Sw7YB3

Hey guys welcome back to my Channel today, I'm going to be showing you how I do my curly hair routine and how I use Lexie hair extensions to achieve these long, thick curls, still maintaining my natural curl texture, which is huge. I'Ve been using luxy hair extensions, as you guys know, for quite some time, but for a really long time I was only straightening, my hair, which is really bad for my natural hair and prevents me from growing my own hair, and so finally, I was like. I have to learn how to blend nice with my extensions, because they do only come straight and so once I figured out, I was amazed. I was actually amazed that I can still wear my extensions and have them blend so well into my natural hair. So that's what I'm gon na be sharing with you guys today, especially you curly haired girls. I know this is gon na, be super helpful for you as well or if you just want to kind of achieve this like curly look, you can apply the same techniques that I'm gon na, be using to my extensions and replicate that, with your own hair and Kind of come out with this big curly bouncy hair for yourself, if you don't have curly hair, so I'm really excited let's just get into the video. So I'm using my 220 gram, luxy hair extensions in the shade chocolate brown and first we have to curl our Lexi's. I'M gon na be clipping all of my Lexi's on to pant, hangers and hanging them for the sake of curling them and making everything a lot easier. So I just hung the four clip webs together. The three clip left together and then I clipped the single clip west onto the two clip weft and hung all of those together as well. That here you just have three hangers of extensions and I'm going to be taking my one-inch curling wand. That kind of descends into a smaller and smaller wand. This is great for natural curls and for curling your hair and getting tight curls. So I'm gon na be using this today and also a hairbrush, and that is all amusing. First, I'm just gon na be taking one strand of the Lexie's that are hung and curving it like. So I'm gon na be taking it quite a small strand depending on how curly your hair is, you can switch this up and then I'm gon na hold the curl in my hand and let it cool before I release it, and this is the most important step. I think you can hairspray if you want this to last longer, I'm trying to be really good and keep my Lexie's nice and clean and honestly without hairspray, the curls will hold pretty well if you are holding them and letting them cool. So I'm gon na go ahead and do without hairspray, but by all means. If you want that extra security, you can use a non dare so hair spray or whatever here's great you want to use. I have use hairspray in the past and then I'm just gon na keep doing this throughout I'm gon na curl, my entire set. So the next string that I take I'm going to actually curl the strand in the opposite direction as the previous strand to get that natural curl. Look so that all of your curls are kind of wild and crazy. Just like your natural hair and now I'm gon na be doing this with my entire set of let's see - and here is the finished product now that my Lexie's are all curled time to clip them in here is my natural hair. Without any left see I washed and conditioned my hair right for this video and dried it. While I curls my Lexi's, so I used left, hair, shampoo and conditioner. I love it because it is vegan cruelty, free and paraben free, and that is what I like to see in my beauty products, especially my hair. You might heard nice and healthy and to just be kind to the environment. That is really important for me and then, after my hair, with shower just put a little bit of mousse in my hair to hold the pearls. So now I'm going to be clipping in my extensions and here's a little trick. I like to use when clipping in my curly Lexie's, to match my natural hair. I will clip them in upside down. This will give you that natural volume that your curls already kind of give you and I find, if you clip them in right side up it. Just looks not as enough, but if you clip them an upside down, I find it blends super well with your natural curl. So that's what I'm gon na be doing and then now that all of my Lexi's are clipped in, I am just going to be separating the strands a little bit more. I know I did this before after all of them were curled, but I'm just gon na go in and do it a little bit more to where it blends with my natural curls. However, my curls are laying that day, and this is just great to dude. For that natural effect and something else I like to do just for a little bit of extra volume and to make them blend even more as I'm just going to do that and there you have it, that is my curly luxy hair routine.
