Biggest Tiktok Hair Trends For 2022

So the first big Tick-Tock Trend, I'm going to talk about today - that's happening right now is the 90s layer, so the 90s layer is something that we can wear really still quite heavy down the bottom, we're not losing too much weight, but we want those soft beautiful Layers running all the way through think of hot rollers, think of big tongs and just think of that big, beautiful hair that we've seen all over the TV screens in the 90s. The next big haircut Trend that I'm seeing on tiktok right now is the bottleneck, bangs or the curtain Banks, and what this is. This is something that we, as hairdressers, can use on. You guys to face frame, add volume, add width close in face shapes they're. Just so versatile in every single way, when it comes to styling your hair, leaving them that little bit longer that we can just clip them out the way or you can wear it, incorporate it into an updo, a hairstyle curl. It wear it smooth, but yeah they're not going anywhere anytime soon. The next big train that I'm seeing is face framing layers, and this can be sort of on the back of a haircut. I'M going to be talking about soon sort of on the wolf cut, butterfly cut the 90s layers, but wearing something around about cheekbone jawline and just having this really nice soft flow of layers around clients faces around your faces gives a lot of Versatility again similar to The the curtain bangs the bottleneck bangs because they are incorporated into the haircut, but still very, very soft. You can curl them get loads of volume in you can wear it. Super smooth for a really nice sort of softer edge around the face around into the neckline and exposing all through there to either expose neck length, collarbones or close it in so this is all about framing your clients face framing your face or just complimenting what you Have right now the next big Trend that I'm seeing a lot quite recently actually is the u-shaped haircut, and this is where you see long, hair and it's longer in the middle, but it gradually gets shorter up towards the shoulders. Now what this does? This creates a lot more fullness. You can have uniform layers through the back to complement this, because you'll want it to keep a lot more consistency and density through the back, so it doesn't look too straggly, but with the u-shaped haircut, what you'll be seeing everywhere right now is the uniform layer. Maybe some face framing because it's getting shorter as it gets to the shoulder. We need something to soften off through here, so incorporating all these ideas together check out my next video, I'm going to be doing a U-shaped haircut so make sure you hit the Subscribe button to make sure you are notified of when I bring that video, but the U-Shaped haircut is something which is going to be, I think, carrying on through into 2023. So the difference between a U-shaped haircut and an a-line haircut, a line when you throw it all back, it will be seen as like a straight line. You throw it over and it just gets that little bit longer towards the front, because we've taken the hair all the way back so completely opposite with the u-shaped haircut. What we want to be doing is we want to be creating that shortness as it comes to the shoulders, which is how that creates that u-shaped. So this is one of the trends that you're going to be seeing a lot of through the rest of 2022 into 2023. Wispy bangs is another Trend. I'M seeing we've seen a lot of heaviness around the face and I'm going to go on to that in a minute, but wispy bangs having these sort of just these pieces, either to hide lines with a lot of my clients. They always say, oh and think about like a fringe. I don't want it too heavy. So we just leave a little bit of wispiness through here and as it gets to, the perimeter gets a little bit denser, but it's great it's versatile again. It is just light. So if you want to get that little bit of lift on it, it's very very easy to you want to brush it out of the way it's very easy to, because there's not a lot of hair there. So wispy bangs are going to be a big Trend. If not already leading into 2023, this will be a trend video. If it wasn't talking about Bob's and yes, the one length bob is in here, I've been doing so many in the salon. Recently people are wanting something a bit more dramatic a bit denser and the one length bob is beautiful for complimenting most face shapes sort of necklines jaw lines. Everything like that so speak to your stylist and be sure with these pictures, I'm putting in here you'll screenshotting them and take them to your hairdresser or just use them as a bit of inspiration, because the one length bob is just Timeless absolutely stunning, and it's something That never really goes away so you'll be definitely seeing this into 20 2023 and for the rest of time. Now, how could I not talk about this haircut when I'm talking about Tick, Tock, the wolf cup, the wolf cut exploded on Tick Tock purely out of I think tick, tockers cutting it themselves and you've seen my videos. Filming for you guys, it's not anything that I'm really interested in, but I've just seen that it is people keep comparing it to the way that I've been doing a wolf curtain, the way that they do a wolf cut. So I'm going to explore the the UNIF unicorn haircut today and I'm going to break that down for you, but yeah the wolf cut started as just one ponytail here cut it off and let it fall the way that I do it. I break it down into two ponytails to show you guys how it should fall. But then, if you check out my salon versions, that's how we cut it in salon and how I would deliver it to a client but yeah. Who can talk about The Tick Tock? Wolf cut haircut Trend without this video, so the wolf cut is really choppy, really heavy, really sparse. It'S a mix of everything to be honest, a lot of weight around here and as it sort of graduates out out it gets that little bit sort of softer a little bit more wispy. So if you're thinking like wispy Fringe, that's the ends of a wolf cut and if you're thinking of the one length bob we're sort of looking at that weight through here and then we're looking at say what else were we looking at? Maybe the bangs, how it sort of graduates away. That'S how we're looking at the layers in a wolf cut but yeah the the wolf cut, absolutely exploded my channel. Wolf cut for helping my channel grow, but yeah the wolf cut, isn't going anywhere, it's just going to be sort of transitioning and morphing into other haircuts. Like the butterfly cup. Uh show these pictures of all this beautiful hair and what happens and how they do it and how they get that, and a lot of it is, is wigs. A lot of celebrities are wearing wigs. A lot of celebrities are wearing extensions, so yeah, if you're not ready to try anything too drastic grab a wig have a little play and and go from there but yeah like I said.
